Paid for a part to be shipped to me. I made a mistake on the option code and it wasnt going to fit my car. They were very understanding and issued me a refund with zero hassle at all. Excellent people with good practices.

The Decatur location staff was superb. Very friendly, helpful and patient. I needed a radio for my car. They were able to show me a picture of it, took my out to view it on the lot, they pulled the part, and let me test it prior to purchase. Im sure that all isnt possible on every part or everyday, but it does show how far they try to go to satisfy a customer. Two thumbs up!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. My son bought an engine from them that has NEVER worked. The car sat at the shop for over a month not being able to be moved. Upon suggestion by the shop owner, we had the car towed to the dealership. The dealership told us both verbally and in writing the engine was bad. After speaking with the technician Gray and White sent out, it was confirmed the engine is bad BUT the mileage reported is 4000 over what it was when the engine was purchased. The car has not left the lot only to be towed to the dealership. The mileage claim is a complete lie. While talking to Billy, a service rep at Gray and White, he said my son called “200 times asking all types of stupid questions”. Well when you spend $1277 for something that does not work no question is stupid. So now we will seek legal action as well as contact every source available, such as news stations, as many social media groups as possible, BBB and Attorney General let it be known that this company does not stand behind its parts and DOES NOT Value their customers!! We still have find another company with good parts for the repair. Horrible experience!!
Switches up the price from phone to in person but it had wat I needed a few times. Be careful on the raggedy road that leads to the back road. Very bumpy

Drove over 1 hour here for a motor they graded as a A. Called in earlier to double check if it was available and a good motor. I get there after waiting a hour in the lobby the motors bad a “tree fell on it”. Imbread rednecks
This place is a complete RIP OFF!!! My brother bought an engine from them and they refused to honor the 90 day warranty. Billy, the sales rep said the car had been driven 4000 in a month according to the mileage they put in for his car. When, in fact, the car was NEVER repaired nor taken off the repair shop lot except when towed to Lexus where he was told the engine was knocking. The car hasn’t been driven but the warranty states 90 days. The car has sat for 5 weeks, immobile yet well under 90 days. Horrible place ripping off younger customers who Billy even said he asked “stupid questions”. $1277 for a nonworking part...no question is stupid
Will never do business with this place ever again! Purchased an engine for a 2002 Mazda protege5. After replacing the engine and spending $600 in labor, we realised it had a bent crank. They offered me a 90 day warranty on the engine so I called them to get a replacement. For 2 weeks they kept giving me the run around saying theyre trying to locate an engine for me because they dont have another one in stock. During that time I had found plenty of engines with the same warranty and same price I paid. I call them to ask for my money back and the manager by the name of Billy tells me we cant refund your money till you give us our engine back. Keep in mind they came and picked up my old engine and charged me a $100 core fee which was never refunded back to me. I told him I need my money today to purchase another engine and I will pull their bad engine out of my car and give it back to them. They just have to send my core back so I can give it to the other place Im purchasing an engine from. He told me we have a policy that I cant override and hung up the phone on me. The guy is as ignorant as they come and shouldnt be managing a reputable place like Gray and White. DO NOT purchase anything from that place! Apparently it either goes their way or it doesnt happen. No respect for the customers that pay their bills what so ever! Im also not being compensated for the $600 labor that I spent on the first engine. Im gonna have to pay that all over again. My entire experience with this place has been a financial loss to me and I hope those $600 I paid end up costing them $6000 in the future.

Ordered a motor for an Acura TL Type S and they advertised it as having 79,000 miles. When I received the motor, we ran a carfax and found out that the motor actually had 140,000 miles on it. They would not give a better price nor would they warranty the motor. We had the motor shipped back to them. Will not do business with them ever again. DONE!!!!
Terrible!! I went to them and to get in ECM for a 2001 Honda Civic on a Wednesday. They said they wouldnt be able to pull it until tomorrow afternoon. The price was great, so I agreed. They said that they were going to call me. 3 PM Thursday afternoon, and no phone call.I called them at 3:30 PM and asked about the part, and the employee sarcastically says Um did somebody call you?, then says that the order just got put in, and they will have the part pulled in an hour. I was at work, so I agreed to come pick it up The next morning.Friday morning hits, two days later, and I was left sitting in there for an hour, only for my salesman to come out and tell me The part that I was waiting for and put a deposit on, is not even there. She said that she has to order it from there Carrollton location, and I will be there in another three days.Needless to say, I just got my refund and left. Not worth it, plus theyre surrounded by the auto parts stores.
They treat their customers like scum. As I waited 4 hours for a part they promised that would take two hours to pull I watched them deny returns to customers, asking for money back because they gave them WRONG parts, I even witnessed returns denied because they gave them BROKEN parts. All while I waited for a simple part that was promised to be pulled in two hours but took 4. Terrible company, full of terrible employees, pay more and/or drive further to avoid this place.

This place doesnt even deserve one star. I work at my familys mechanic shop, we order parts all the time. I ordered a Drive Shaft for a 2003 Cadillac CTS on July 8, 2015 and was told it would arrive the next day. We are a mechanic shop so we get all our parts delivered to us since we dont have the time to go and pick them up. I did not receive the drive shaft July 9, so i called and they said it would arrive Friday and it DID NOT. Since then Ive been calling daily asking when it was going to get delivered. Every time I called, they would tell me it was on its way and still today, JULY 14, 2015 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT! I can guarantee you have lost another great customer.
This place is selling bad parts! My nephew purchased an engine and it was no good. Poor customer service! He was treated very disrespectful! Customers are the core of a business! Treat your customers with respect and honor your products!
I HATE to even give them one star. What a joke!! Want to be treated like a piece of crap?? Call these people. Was qouted three different prices when i called, then was told part was on the truck to be delivered and three days later still no parts. When I called back I was told the part had already been sold to someone else and that they didnt have another one. What do I tell my customer that has been waiting to get their car back? When I tried to get to the bottom of why I was told the part was on the way and it was not. (And I was be very polite.) Lets just say the conversation ended with the salesperson telling me that they do not need my business dont call back and being hung up on.
They went above and beyond to help me find a difficult part. Really, really helpful.

This place is an ABSOLUTE ripoff! My nephew had an engine put in his Lexus and the car couldnt even make it around the corner. Do not do business with them! The manager Billy is a complete joke who must be married to the owners daughter or is his son because he has No, Absolutely no, respect for the customers that pays him.

This shop should be called Dysfunction R Us. If you want to be treated like youre buying illegal drugs, then patronize this establishment.I needed an auto part and buying it new was cost prohibitive. I called a few junkyards in my area and none had it in stock. I did a search and found Gray and White. When I called, the person on the phone seemed helpful and said the part was available and quoted me a decent price.When I arrived, there was a big towing truck blocking most of the entrance and I had to navigate around it. The entire place had parts lying randomly on the ground and you had to watch your step as you walked in. It looked like the Smaugs den from the Hobbit, except instead of gold it was junk. I spoke to the person on the main desk and he was very kurt and almost hostile in his presentation..As I waited for my part to be picked out, I heard rude interactions with customers on the phone and read their anti-business signage. One sign said, Cash only. No credit cards. No returns, No exchanges. $50 minimum price. There was also a shotgun and bullets in clear view behind the counter which I found very unwelcoming, if not downright threatening, I wanted to complete my transaction as fast as possible and leave this nuclear distaster area. The clerk told me my part was waiting for me outside.I went outside with the clerk and looked at what appeared to be the part I ordered. The part had a glaring defect and I asked if I there was another part available. The clerk rudely said No. If you want to be picky, Ill charge you double. Another man said, Sir, thats not your part, this one is yours. No apologies were given, since youre just a scummy customer there to help pay their bills. I looked it over and the part was in decent condition. I walked back inside with the clerk and paid for my transaction.As I was about to leave, I noticed a sign stating how to get a $5 discount. You have to give them a good review on Google and then show them evidence. If these buffoons believe they can conduct business in such an unprofessional and rude manner, yet somehow try to game the system to get more victims into their establishment, they are for a treat.Please avoid this establishment! It is completely dysfunctional and unbelievably bad customer service. By shopping at this horrific business, youre giving them cart blanche to be disrespected not only as a customee but as a human being. Your typical drug dealer is more welcoming and respectful of their customers.
Staff was nice, but they took a lot longer to pull the part then they promised, and when they did it was broken. They happily refunded deposit, but I still lost a few hours..

Call to see if they have a part, they told me that they have it, DRIVE 1 HOUR, when I got there, they make me to wait long time, and after that make me to walk all the way down to the lot, and check the part that was completely damage, why in the world they cant tell you that the part is damage before you drive all the way down there.!!!!!!!!!!
