Lance did a great job on my hair and beard! It’s hard to find people that can do a great fade and a great beard shape up, but he did it! Very detail oriented and took his time to make sure sure the cut was perfect. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend him to anyone! He has a nice shop too. Very clean with a historic like decor, but also with a modern day patriotic vibe too. Go see him!

Lance is a true barber. In cutting hair he is attuned to the shape of the head, growth patterns, and textures. He does a great job in making you feel comfortable and relaxed. I especially enjoy getting the straight razor shave. Lance is an artist, and he goes out of his way to insure that you have a quality experience.

I had long hair (half way down my back) that I wanted to get cut very short. Lance was able to give me the exact cut I was looking for. Not only that he noticed I struggled with dry skin and told me I needed a moisturizing shampoo instead of a dandruff shampoo. After 26 years of having to struggle with a dry scalp Ive actually found a solution.Lance is very well informed, an excellent barber, and Ill coming to his shop for the foreseeable future.

I have been searching for a true, “BARBER SHOP” in Decatur for 2 years. I came across Shorn Barber Shop on Facebook. Since I had tried all the “box store” chains around the area and a few salons, I thought, “Why not try the new place.” Well, I am very glad I did! I have finally found a “TRUE” barber shape. At Shorns, I got a haircut, straight razor shave and my 4” goatee trimmed. He has a tremendous line of different products, designed for men. From now on, I will be a regular at Shorn’s Barbers. The atmosphere, the skill and the great communication will keep me coming back. If you are looking for an all around GREAT place to get “manscapped”, you need to visit Shorn Barbers!

Best cut in town. Ability to make appointments online is great, some local shops charge a fee to do this but not Shorn. I appreciate that ability because Im on a schedule but dont want to pay extra for it.

Great place for a beard trim. Stopped in for a “Big boy beard trim” and Rory hooked me up with a great cut. I got to sit in a fully reclined barber chair with a hot steam towel for a few minutes, got some great smelling beard oil. He even trimmed up my eyebrows and did a great job with my mustache too. My brother in law came with me and got a killer fade from Ray. The service was thorough and relaxing but didn’t take overly long.

These guys are awesome. super laid back, friendly. listened to what i wanted, put in a little input, and i ended up with the best undercut/fade i have had so far. definitely wont be the last time i go there for a haircut and beard trim.

This place is AWESOME! This the best experience that I have ever had at a barber shop! I dont think I have ever had my hair cut at any one place more than twice. Not the case anymore. I will return for years to come. Ray took good care of me and cut my hair exactly like I wanted!

Recommending everyone I know to get a cut at SHORN. Went for my first straight razor shave, and was an amazing experience. Shave was totally relaxing, face was baby smooth, and zero razor burn. Also got a nice skin fade from the 1930s era. Amazing haircut, and got a ton of complements. Cant wait to go back.

These are professional master barbers that give haircuts that make people ask...where did you get your hair cut? That fade is tight. Once youve had your hair cut here, you will never go anywhere else.

I had a great experience at Shorns Barber shop. It was my first time there and the staff was on point, the atmosphere was eclectic and music on point for all. I scheduled my appointment with Ray, who faded my hair to a mid-fade, straight razored my neck and put a clean hard part in my hair. I will be going back to this establishment. Definitely a 1920s style look and feel. Would recommend this shop to anyone.

After months of experiencing chain haircuts and having the worst luck ever, I came across Lance. I made an appointment and boy was I amazed! I told Lance what I wanted and he made it happen! A great lil shop, great environment, and awesome barber! SHORN is truly a gem in Columbia. Lance is a true professional and a master at his craft! I definitely have found my new barber.

I walked in no one greeted me. Waited for the barber to finish with the guy in his chair 30 mins late I find out they only do appointments.Either they don’t like new customers or don’t like brown skin people idk either way that’s 30 mins I’ll never get back.

I wanted to get my beard lined up and have my edges crisped up but your beard isnt thick enough, you are on Instagram too much was the response I got. Even though I had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment I was ushered out the door because he had another appointment even though I was the only guy in the whole shop. Would never come back, terrible first experience.
