My son is 8, and this is the only place that cuts his hair. Hes been going for a few years now, and I recently started using them as well. Great place with a great price. The owners are always so nice!

This place is NOT family friendly. I have grown up in this town and I will never go back here or recommend it ever again. My husband, a United States Air Force pilot, was refused service for our two year old son. I would expect more understanding from people who have children of their own. Our son is energetic, yes, but he has lived in Korea for most of his life and has been stateside for all of 3 days. He’s still adjusting and in culture shock - and now we are too. Very disappointed in how we were treated. What a great way to be welcomed back to America - NOT!![added] Now I’m reading this guy has actually physically struck children while in his barber chair?? How is he still in business?? He better be glad he didn’t strike my son or this southern mama wouldn’t have been able to hold back. If he doesn’t adjust his attitude, then one day he will hit the wrong child and find himself in court!

The barbershop is centrally located on Highway 67 in Priceville Alabama. Ive been using them 4 years and their haircuts are fairly reasonable, I believe its $8 for men

This husband and wife small shop has always been wonderful to my family and friends. Just look at the parking lot, it stays full all day long... Great husband and wife. Both are great. Great atmosphere. Very friendly. You may have to wait a while depending on the day and time but they cut fast. If you have a certain way you want it cut, show them a picture and they will get pretty dern close to that particular style. They are great with children!! They give them a sucker pop when they get done. Very inexpensive cut! No hassle with scheduling appointments. Walk ins only.

Top notch barber shop owned and operated by a nice couple, Josh and Tammy Trotter.They offer the BEST haircut you will ever get for $8, which is an absolute bargain! They also do hot lather shaves with an old fashioned straight razor and trim crazy eyebrows and unruly beards.Josh has been cutting my hair 11 years, and I drive an hour to get there. Josh has been cutting my hair since he opened Classic Barber Shop. This place is the epitome of the small town barber shop. Friendly conversations and service with a smile. You might have to wait a few minutes but you wont be bored. This place is popular with the locals for a reason.

Josh and Tammy are awesome, oh and cant forget Winston (the friendly lab)! We love Classic Barber Shop in Priceville. I am pretty picky about my haircuts but love Joshs skin fades. I had fades for years in military and he always gets them just right! To clear up a previous review about Josh not cutting childrens hair, he just cut my sons hair and he is 1 year old. My son never even got scared and Josh was super funny and just an awesome character during the whole experience. He gave us a little hair back and let us take a picture with him since it was my sons first haircut. So please dont listen to the crazy ladys review this place is amazing. The absolute best place to get a haircut. If one need a haircut and want some of the kindest most generous people I have ever met. Then this is the place one needs to go. Never seen them be rude or unapologetic to any one much less get mad at any customers. I will always be getting my haircut here. Before I say anything else I must start by saying that the lady that cuts hair here is very nice and does a good job. She is also very good with children.That being said, the male barber (her husband) is an absolute and unapologetic jerk when it comes to cutting kids hair. And for that matter hes a jerk with adult customers from time to time as well. This guy has been rough with my 5 year old son a couple of times now and we will never go back.The last time we were there with my son the man was cutting his hair, my son moved his head ONCE and the guy took his comb and with the poity end of it smacked my son on the top of the head then grabbed him by the ears and yanked his head back straight. Is wasnt like my son had been sitting there squirming and acting out the whole time, ONE movement set the guy off. I confronted him about it and he absolutely couldnt care less about what he did or what I had to say about it.He was actually visibly angry about the whole situation and he was the one in the wrong.I would recommend avoiding this place especially if you have a kid that needs a haircut. If you absolutely must go wait for the lady barber to be free, you never know when her husband might have a meltdown.

I have been getting my hair cut here for about a year and the owners have been nothing but kind and friendly. I dont know why the person who posted the previous comment is so mad but I find it very hard to believe what they are saying is true. This is a great atmosphere for getting a haircut. And Charlie their dog who hangs there with them is so well behaved.
