Absolutely horrible experience. Came in to have my AC fixed. Spoke to a person that quoted be $875 to have the work done. Picked up the car and the next day, no air. Told we need to have $1100 more work to have the air to work throughout the car and not just the back. Told my husband that he told him that. My husband had never spoken to him or stepped foot into their business. Knew the work was not adequate to fix problem. Shady. Stay away like the plague. Unscrupulous to say the least.

Friendly owner. I talked to him about used cars for sale out front. Decent deals and seemed fairly priced. He is very quick to respond and professional. I would visit if I had car repairs to be done.

The gentlemen that handles the customers at the desk is very kind and respectful. However, the mechanic that works on the cars is absolutely rude, disrespectful, and does not know how to communicate with customers. My husband and I spent close to 4000 dollars in repairs and when our car was returned an airbag malfunction light was on that never appeared before. He did run a diagnostic then said we had to pay an additional 250 dollars for the seat buckle which I found outrages because there wasnt anything wrong with the seat buckle prior to taking the car to them. After careful research found that the light turns on when seats are not placed back correctly in the car. Well, we brought our car for a seat repair so clearly in the process of them placing it back something was not connect right. I called back and explained what I researched and he wanted to charge an additional 130 dollars to check to see if that was the problem. He did not want to even notion the possibility that in the process of reinstalling the seat they simply missed something. And, kept saying that he never saw the error light on the dashboard which I find strange as it appeared clear as day along with another one. I am not saying that my car was in perfect condition but I do know that, that light was not on prior to me taking my car to them. This is very disheartening as we thought we finally found a trustworthy mechanic shop and check all lights that are on prior to taking your car to them. Finally, the disrespect is definitely not worth it. Good luck!

We have used Scott Auto Repair for years. The mechanic is always thorough, responsive, and professional. They have always worked to get our vehicles in and out efficiently and do excellent work for a reasonable price.

Good Understanding People! Am here today getting my GMC ENVOY BRAKES@ROTORS INSTALL👍👍👍👍👍4/13/17 This is my 1995 Nissan Altima it has over 100.000miles. About 2weeks ago it cuts off on me sitting at the light. So on 8/3/17 I had it tow to Scotts they call me Back and told me what the problem was so on 8/4/17 they give me back my little baby and she runing like new👍👍👍They are the best in what they do i dont trust nobody with my cars but Scotts! Been going to them for yrs .. Never had a issue with price, time,or quality of work... This shop does the job right the first time...he keeps u updated on repairs... No hidden cost .. They even offer a small discount on fleet repairs after a certain amount of cars..

They will work on anything! Great job fixing my 1978 Fiat Stick Shift! Four other local repair shops turned me away--would not even consider looking at an old car. Mr Liem Ho speaks excellent English and will quickly get you on the road. Ive found my go-to repair shop in town.

I have been going to Scott Auto for nine years now to have work done on my BMWs. My experience has been excellent. Friendly timely service at a reasonable price. They are also open on Saturdays which I love. I have pointed many friends to this repair shop in the Decatur area.

They are scam artists. Brought four new tires from them. Less than a month tire was flat and they would not exchange it even though I have a warranty.

These guys know their craft, learn their customers and are super friendly and fast

Ive been using the shop since 2003. They worked with me when I was broke in college, and continue to help me with all my vehicles today. Ive done just about every service that can be done to a vehicle over the years at Scott Auto. Every single time they have been extremely honest and more than fair. I cant say enough good things about them. Very skilled, efficient, and quality people.

The only reason I gave a star is to give a review. I went in for a oil change and these shady mechanics told me I needed a motor after I told them I didn’t need the services they tried charging outrageous fees. All I needed was a sensor. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANYTHING. Not even air in my tires

My 2008 Charger engine blew, they replaced it with a used engine that only had 2000 more miles than my original one. Took them about a week and a half and highly satisfied. Highly recommended

The person answering calls does not know what a Synchrony Car Care card is. If you want to pay with one, double check that they will accept it.I was quoted $45 for a diagnostic of a lean running engine, which is cheap compared to the $100 that most places charge.Since the business responds to reviews here I hope they will clarify on whether they accept Synchrony credit cards, & will bump to 4 stars if/when that happens.

Terrible ! The person dealing with cars has absolutely no manners on how to talk to a lady or anybody for that matter. Pathetic customer service . Never came across somebody so ill mannered. Doesnt deserve to be in the business. Have some discipline man!

I have been using scotts for several years and over the last two years I have felt there suggestions and recommendations cost me thousands of dollars of either rework, wrong suggestions or diagnosis. I have moved my buisness to another shop after the last round of recommendations that I feel should have only cost 300 or so dollars but instead cost well over a thousand dollars. BTW, writing this type of review is a rarity for me.

We took my sons car in for repair then hundreds of dollars later had the same issue. Will not trust taking a car there.
