Probably the worst experience Ive ever had going to a mechanic. I went there for a transmission rebuild in January of 2020 and it took three and a half weeks to rebuild the transmission. I called shop for a couple of days and was ignored so I went down there and found out my vehicle was crashed. The owner or manger ignored me and I had to find out by going there. The front tire also was damage due the bumper being pushed in and the tire grinding against the bumper. The truck was fixed to an extent. The tire was never replaced and the bumper was put on wrong. Their is still a dent in my front fender. After the car was fixed my transmission failed within a month. I inspected under the truck to see if the torque converter was changed and that was never changed. On a 1994 Ford Bronco you can drain the torque converter through the belle housing and I noticed the same torque converter was still in. The shop took my truck back in and rebuilt the transmission once again. I had to wait another three weeks and little if any priority was taken to get my vehicle up and running again. The transmission is leaking fluid around the belle housing. I would never recommend this business to anyone. If Im responded to Im eager to see this businesses response. Again the tire was never replaced and little effort was made to fix the dent in the fender. Also the headlight was damaged along with the headlight bezel. Lastly No policed report was made when they crashed the truck. I have never written a review for any business but I needed to share this. Again minus the car being damaged to the transmission failed within a month. I also was charged way too much money Im embarrassed to even write the amount. I honestly think most of the five star reviews on here are false and if you’re thinking about having work done here look at the one star reviews. Theirs several of them. I do believe its comical that the shop is called A-1 quality. Believe me their is nothing that is quality about this business.

Chuck took care of my Silver 300C. Called me daily with updates and installed a transmission. I had no issues and a fast turnaround. It definitely saved me in need.

I took my volt hybrid there they were kinda new about working on a electric car but gave me a great price and even though it took longer to program it then they thought they still stood behind there price I am thankfull for that they did a good job.I would definitely recamend them .

Worst experience I have ever had with an auto repair. Do not take your car here. He says he cant get mechanics . Ofcourse I didnt find this out until the first deadline was missed. A 2nd deadline missed. Had my van well over a month. Didnt fix everything that was promised. Tried to put it back on me. Also when someone is constantly telling you how great they did you, beware. This guys skill is talking you out of your money

I will definitely, return with any car problems, they worked with me and got me back on the road and have excellent customer service, this is the place to go for car repair!

This shop guy charge me 36 hundred dollars for transmission and they broke transfercase passenger side excel they spent 3 months to my car ofter that I spent 11 thousand dollars for fix everything i am thinking to take cuort

Went to have A/C fixed in 07 Ford Expedition A1 put new compressor on it. It worked for like a week. Took it back to A1 they had it for a week couldn’t find the problem! I picked it up and took to the ford dealer they found the problem to be broken clips on the new compressor plug. Won’t stay connected. So who put the new compressor on? I called A1 Quality to let them know! thinking they might reimburse me. But instead he mocked the situation. Very unprofessional. Take those notes 07/13/2020

I came in April 29th with my HHR vehicle after my undergarment (covering underneath car) came down after hitting a pothole. I asked a Manager by the name of Alan if they could help get the piece that was hanging off of my car. He then proceeded to get 2 of his best employees to fix & cut unnecessary garment off with no hesitation or payment necessary. They were very friendly, & available especially with the tension going around with our unfortunate pandemic. I will go back for any of my car needs & I will refer my friends. Thanks Guys!!

Be patient with them your car will get fixed it may take a few days but the job will get done. They really have helped me out alot since the pandemic especially Mike and today Joe.

Going to a transmission shop is like going to the dentist, youd rather not but if you have to go to a good one! A1 is a very good. They gave me an honest assesment If my car was worth fixing, then gave me two options a used or rebuild. I decided to go with a rebuild and could not be happier. They made my transmission like new and corrected a small issue after a couple days driving showing me they stand behind their work. If you want a fancy office and want to pay too much look else where, look to A1 for a fairly priced job done right.

I am a returning customer and have had different vehicles serviced here. I take comfort in knowing A-1 Quality can handle a wide range of repairs. The staff is courteous and helpful. When a vehicle is in need of repair it isnt the happiest moment. However A-1 Quality helps to assure you that they will have your vehicle fixed in no time.

Stayed open 30 mins late just for me to get my bulb above my License plate! They’re very considerate!!! It even said they closed at 7 but they really close at 6! Very grateful

Been here 3 times for my transmission that they never fixed correctly. The car broke down 300 miles away and they wont pay to get it repaired at the break down location. They insist I tow it 300 Miles to try to fix it for the 4th time. They usually had my car tied up for a week or more at a time. I lost 2 driving jobs with their faulty repairs, could not make money without my vehicle and eventually lost my house because I had no transportation to get to work. I lost $2400 in repair cost to A1 and my car is still not working 4 months after the first visit to these rip off artists. Mike the guy responsible for the repairs dodges my calls and gets loud on the phone when I do reach him after several attempts. I would not send anyone here unless you want to lose a friend, because they are the terrible. Go somewhere else!!!

A More Expensive Repair.I Appreciate The Honesty and Professionalism Afforded Me By A1 Transmission Staff and Management and Will Check With Them From Here On Regarding Repairs.

Went here after reading all the great reviews and felt compelled to write my own! I have an older vehicle and always went to the same place that I felt ripped me off, but everyone at A1 was extremely friendly and you cant beat the prices. I would refer all friends and family here!

New management, just not the same. Im a returning customer of two prior transmission jobs that were great(under old owner/management). However my expectations were missed by a large margin. I wont be returning.

Mike is the Man!!! In fact, these folks are just all around stellar individuals. Took my 96 E150 conversion van in due to what I thought was a problem with my torque converter and -due to their VERY resonable tare-down costs- found out that most of the clutches in my transmission were burned out as well as several other things. Long story short, they rebuilt my entire trans in just two days for a price that simply cant be beat by any shop within a 50 mile radius! I now feel safe to travel cross-country with it again! Should I have any transmission problems with any other vehicle, this is the place I am taking it!
