Southwest Louisiana was hit hard by Hurricane Laura on August 27, and Laura was almost a Category 5 hurricane at landfall. KT Tree & Bobcat was performing work about two weeks following landfall. The salesman for this contractor from Florida said this company was reputable, and Keith Tucker is one of the owners. Their contract says licensed and insured, and minimal ground wear. The contractor was hired to remove trees, and grind stumps. They were supposed to remove the trees they cut down, and put them at the front of the yard where the city would pickup the debris.Workers for KT Tree & Bobcat were working after a hurricane when the ground was wet, and their workers recognized the need for mats at one point, but I doubt their objective was to protect my yard. What did they do? They took fence debris from my neighbors wooden fence, and threw those sections of broken fence in my front yard *after* they had gotten heavy equipment stuck in the mud. I have photos to back this up, and am apparently going to have to take KT to court in order to have them either complete the job or somehow make things right.Whats my primary compliant? First, their heavy equipment tore huge holes in my lawn - front, side & back section of yard. A professional company should know what mats are required for their equipment in order to minimize damage to the clients yard per their written contract. Photos from my front lawn show a hole nearly large enough to be a koi fish pond. There are huge ruts going into the back yard, and large sections of damage in the back yard.Second complaint ... apparently they were so focused on getting their equipment out of the mud, they failed to remove all the trees they had cut down. Some sections they allowed to fall beyond my rear fence. Perhaps they thought being on the other side of the fence somehow absolved them of responsibility, but in any case ... my property line extends beyond that fence. Also, some of the pieces of tree they pushed over onto my neighbors yard rather than putting that debris to the road per their contract.Third complaint ... while they were borrowing my neighbors fence debris, they told him they would restack the fence sections after they were complete. Guess what? They didnt. After my return & discussion with my neighbor, I had to pull the sections of fence out of the mud and restack the debris myself.In hindsight, I very much regret having used KT Tree & Bobcat ... This type experience is what gives out of state contractors a bad name.My advice: use a different contractor.

I received an estimate on Sunday after a bad storm, and Keith and his men were out here the following morning. They did an excellent job removing a bad turkey oak tree, as well as debris and branches throughout my yard. Keith is friendly and knowledgeable, and he assured me that everything would be taken care of - and it was, perfectly. The crew even cleaned leaves off both patios, the rear deck and the yards which frankly, I didnt expect. They went beyond the call for a reasonable price. After they left, youd never have known that anyone was even in the yard or that a branch fell. Excellent and professional tree service that I will now use for all my future needs. Thanks Keith.

They did a great job trimming but did not admit the small damage they did on eve of my roof. They claimed it was already there and should have taken a pic. What they should have done was discontinue the job and call the boss and let the boss know about it to find out if I knew about it I thought that was very unprofessionalAll around the eve of my house and the Fossett was all new so I knew they did itSaid would come out and inspect and make sure I was happy. Never showed Also I had to ask them to pick up empty water bottles and found they left my water hose on running on the ground. I ended up turning it off and reminded them to pick up water bottlesI wouldn’t recommend them to anyone

Chris is a God send! So thankful for his guidance with helping me decorate my house with amazing Christmas light decor for my proposal to my girlfriend. Keith climbed like a pro & made my tree & house shine like a beacon! Such a fun environment with Chris who handled all the logistics, but the ultimate cherry on top was how they gifted this to my fiancé & I to bless us in being a part of the whole experience. So thankful Chris, Charlie & Keith! ps. she said yes!

This is an updated review. We did have an issue where KT did not make there appointment. They have since completed the job and left the yard nice and clean.

We are very pleased with the services this company provided. Chris was very professional and courteous with us. They achieved what they promised and the job was done in an excellent manner. Their warranty program is great. They got the city permit and they charged us only when the job was 100% done and we were satisfied. We do recommend this company to every one. Keep up the god work!
