Other yards look much better. Technician usually finishes in about 5 minutes while neighbors who have other lawn service companies take about 30 minutes to perform their service.

My neighbor has been using TruGreen and while they were servicing his lawn, they pulled up on my grass and destroyed by trenching about a 30foot of my grass. The driver was getting ready to leave and I stopped him and showed him what he did. He took down my name and number and said the manager would contact me. Well, it’s been 2 months and I have tried multiple times to contact the Daytona beach office and have not received a call as of yet. My neighbor who has the service tried to get in touch with them and they would not answer the phone as he stayed on each call more than 20 minutes with no luck. If this is what type of service they provide I would not ever use them. So BEWARE!

If I could give zero stars I would. Hired them at my Edgewater and my lawn had tons of dead spots months after. They kept saying it’s something I did but I hired them when I moved in. When I finally cancelled (went to Massey and it’s been amazing and half the price). I watched TruGreen not cover my whole lawn when spraying (I’m assuming to cut costs) and that was my final straw.Then this joke of a management hounded me nonstop with calls and then they start e showing up and asking why I cancelled. This company is horrible and the local management is the worst part. Hire Massey and avoid the headache.

I have had three treatments so far & the lawn is looking so much better. They killed all the weeds & now with St Augustine grass, the root runners are filling in the bare spots because you cannot seed St Augustine grass. The 3 technicians have always been very puntual & with the text app you know exactly when they will arrive. I had questions for Joshua today & he took the time to explain and address my concerns. I am very satisfied with Tru Green. If you have a concern, call and address that concern or tell the tech at your site.. I find it a pleasure using Tru Green.

I wish I could give them 0 stars! This must of been the worst service my wife and I have ever experienced. The lack of communication between their customer service and the guys that came to our house is astonishing. They came at the wrong time, charged us on the wrong date, sprayed our neighbors yard (duplex) when we specifically said not to, sprayed the wrong products on our lawn, the list goes on. Please save your time, energy, money and stress and avoid this company at all cost!!

We have used True Green for 4 months most of our yard ( which is large) has done very well . One quarter of our yard is still weed infested. I have called 2 times to have the man who sprays our yard Leidy Krout or his supervisor Richard Bon Diezelski to call me and look at my lawn. I spoke to Precious and Raven and they assured me one would call . No action has been taken. I wanted this done before the lawn was mowed so they could see the weeds. The week is up

Our Lawn is beginning to look great! We started using them this year when we had so many weeds that no one could tell we had a lawn. They did come back for a few free treatments as promised. We only have one stubborn oak tree in our backyard that seems to have a fungus, but they have been back three times. We hope it will survive. On another note, my John Deere tractor got stuck in the swale due to being too wet. Truegreen was next store doing an aeration. The technician saw that I was struggling to push it out by hand. He did not know I was a Truegreen customer. Being, respectful of my property, he came over and asked if he could assist me. He pushed as I put in in reverse and seconds later I was free. Thanks to him. I did not get his name.

I’m supposed to be billed $54.50 for each treatment x 7 for the year. Last visit I got charged $109 so I called them and was told that they applied 2 treatments. I told her that’s fine but the charge, according to my contract is $54.50 per visit. So she told me she would credit my account. It’s been over a week and no credit so I called and was told it takes over a week for the credit to go through. I checked today and still no credit. If I have to call them again, I will but this time it will be to cancel my service. If I don’t get the credit, I’ll just call my credit card company but this is BS. I shouldn’t have to be doing this after the ripped me off.

Two weeks ago I contacted a TruGreen Representative and explained that I had TruGreen over a year and a half and since I am only in Florida for 6 months at a time, I did not notice any improvement on my lawn and asked if I could have a TruGreen Representative contacted me at my Florida home to see if there was any way of improving my lawn. I was told that someone would be contacting me in four business days. I received a call from a young lady and went over the problem with the lawn and things that I had done to attempt to improve the lawn, with no success. I then contracted TruGreen to manage my lawn problems, thinking that they were the experts. This representative advised me she would have someone contact me. After two weeks of nonsense. I called TruGreen and spoke to a very nice young lady, believe her first name was Kelly based out Kansas City, Missouri. She promised me that before the end of day someone would contact me. I am still waiting. All I am asking is to have a technician from TruGreen come out to my home and provide with a solution to my lawn issue. Thank you

Had to contact sales supervisor about one of there salesman sending many pictures of his private parts to my phone.just repeatedly foul language and didnt understand the words respect,stop,no.also it was confirmed that this employee was recently found with a dead women in his mobile home that he was renting a room too.be very careful if you are a women home alone and trugreen salesmen knocks on your door you could be the next victim

Once they get your phone number, they NEVER stop calling. They call in the morning. They call in the afternoon. They call in the evening. They call on Saturdays. They call on Sundays. It never ends no matter how many times you ask them not to call. They make it difficult to find their local offices so you cant go in and talk to someone face to face. They are about as shady as you can get. Do yourself a favor and give them a burner number if you have to. Give them your real phone number at your own peril.

Do not use this company! Once you sign up you can’t stop . It will continue to have service done and you will be charged, promised a refund . I have to called numerous times and told oh that was never credited sorry I will do it now. Still not refunded. If you don’t watch your credit card closely they will continue to charge you. initially when a service was done after it was canceled they asked if I was willing to pay half the charge since they did the service. I said absolutely not but was charged for full amount this appears to either be a scam or incompetence. Beware,

Literally the worst service we’ve ever experienced. After leaving our gate open twice and our dogs getting out, we called twice about this issue and each time they apologized for the lack of attentiveness for their team members. After the second mishap we cancelled our service entirely and they came AGAIN and CHARGED US. Absolutely terrible internal communication and awful service.

While I havent been home when our lawn has been serviced, our specialist always leaves very detailed notes regarding what was done and why. He also arrives early in the mornings like weve requested so any chemicals applied have had time to dry and be pet-safe by the time we come home to let our dog outside.

Very happy with my lawn care professional. My lawn looks good and when I point out any issue with my lawn, he explains it and addresses the issue. Lastly, he is friendly and polite.

On what was supposed to be the first day of treatment they never showed up. They said they treated my lawn and charged me but never actually did. I find it hard to believe that they went to the wrong address and treated someone else’s lawn which is the excuse they’re giving and leads me to believe these are just shady characters out to rip people off. If I wasn’t home all day they might’ve gotten away with it. I wouldn’t trust this company. If I could go back I wouldn’t do business with them I’d choose someone else.

TruGreen lives up to their name. I have a specialized lawn of dwarf seashore paspalum which I tried to keep up myself with nursery experience. It was hard work so I turned it over to TruGreen. The results have been fantastic. Every problem they dealt with accurately and timely. The lawn is spectacular now. Thanks Trugreen!

Disappointing experience from Daytona beach. Untrustworthy. They will promise you a lot and give you a little. Signed up for complete service. Was supposed to get in depth lawn and soil analysis. Never happened. They just come and go and hand you a print out of suggestions when they never even look at your lawn, just spray chemicals.. Get a text that a service was complete about 2 weeks later, and tech was NEVER at my house. No explanation when I called. just excuses. Manager was supposed to call me, but took 5 days to get a response. Had service for less than a month and 2 issues already. CANCELLED service. Had a Friend in area who had a similar problem a while ago and also cancelled. Avoid this local company.

Depending on the technician I go between 4 or 5 stars.TrueGreen does not assign the same technician for every application and therefore they do not get to know your lawn or your specific needs...I always try to be available when they arrive so that we can go over any problems together.On the whole they do a good job.

Set up service and waited 2 weeks for a call as promised and walk around the yard as promised, no call. So I called and was told they be out on Monday while Im at work. So I asked about the walk around the property and they basically said I needed to be there or reschedule. I think if pay for a service it should be done in a timely manner, so I cancelled. I work way to hard to put up with attitude. I will hire a local company and would not recommend them to anyone

Mike Carter is always a gentleman and very informative about what he is going to do. Seems to take pride in doing the right thing to keep my yard looking beautiful.The quality of applications and timing always seem to be what is needed to keep the yard looking great.

My lawn looks very good and is probably one of the nicest ones in the neighborhood. The lawn specialists are always there when scheduled and treat me as if I am one of their most important customers. I like that they arrive in a timely manner and can answer any and all questions I have regarding my service. They are always courteous and professional.

Im paying for a service that I never got, they told me they were coming to mow my lawn and when the guy showed up he said they forgot to tell me that they only spray the lawn, which they didnt even do it right, their excuse was that old man was new in the company and was still in training.

Called to setup service. Took my credit card and said they were going to send me to another person for final setup. Next employee did not get my address correct, stated the credit card number I gave twice to first employee did not show up and asked again for my credit card. They show 50% off on first lawn care and I told them it was on their website and they said they knew nothing about the 1/2 price first time. Will not do business with someone like this.. Scary and bad first experience.

True green Daytona Beach are thieves! They sent me emails saying on our way to service your property, never came!! Then sent email saying service complete and asking for rating on service and tech ( Justin T), I call to let them know he never did the service, took 3 weeks to come back and do service but only did a partial service, then it happened a second time this time the supervisor RichVonn call me a liar..its been a few days and no other response from them, I pre paid for my service and they screwed me..dont use this company they are thieves...

When I contracted for service I had the representative look at my yard. I had two questions: 1. Will the service take care of the Oak saplings in my yard and 2.,will any weeds be taken care of. The answer to both was YES. After 3 treatments the saplings show no sign of dying out neither do the weeds. I emailed and no response. I left two messages on phone, no calls back. I finally put a note on the door during a service call. No refund nor any contact still. All I ask of people is do your homework when getting a lawn service I should have, I didnt. Dont make the same mistake I did. Look at the ratings others have given Tru Green, that tells the whole story.

Having problems with my lawn this spring, The TruGreen team reacted immediately and now I have a beautiful lawn. The specialist who regularly services my lawn is always friendly, informative, and very careful with my property. I also think your service is a very good value especially with your immediate response to any problems which are usually caused by bad weather etc. IE: too wet, too dry. Youre always there to retreat and help restore my lawn to its great appearance.

When I signed up, the sales guy said save me in your phone if you ever have a problem or need something call me instead of calling the office. I called said sales person 3 weeks after signing up because my Hibiscus were being attacked by the white, chalky looking flies, and he told me verbatim, you need to call the office - Im too busy. Im in sales, and Im sorry but lying to your customers just to get a sale is dirty business.Four months into the service, they killed one of my palms took them 3 months to replace it - and then replaced my 8 ft tree with a 3ft tree - took another 3 months to replace that with original size. canceled service - they keep calling to ask why Ive canceled service.After the 4th why did you cancel our service phone call - I answered and told them to STOP CALLING - guess what, 2 weeks later Ive had update 3 hours after the first review now THREE calls from them again - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH STOP CALLING THIS IS BORDERLINE HARASSMENT

The lawn specialist announces his arrival and what services will be complete that day. I appreciate a call the day before those services will be provided. My lawn looks healthy, especially the shay backyard. I am very happy with Trugreen.

My rep Carlos is a champ ! He does the same thing each treatment. knocks on the door and explains what he is going to do to my yard then ask me if I have any questions. I usually dont have a question because he informs before hand. He is a great ambassador for True Green and I am glad he is my rep ! He would get a 10 on my scale !

I was set to have interview for a job until they found out that I am deaf . They decided that job position was closed. I am going to sue this company for good. I have enough evidence against them! Discriminated!!!!!!!!

Salesman came to the door (2nd time within a few months) and would not take no for an answer. After telling him multiple times we were not interested he got very defensive and rude.

I got home from work with a paper in my door saying, Just stopping by saw the weeds taking over. I can help. and 4 hours later another guy stops by knocking on my door, I was just stopping by because I saw the weeds taking over your lawn....how insulting! I cut my grass and have a nice yard. No, it is not the most beautiful lawn on the block but I do what I can to make it look nice being a renter in a middle class neighborhood. Insulting peoples homes is not a good way to make business!!! Find a new line! How about, You have beautiful flowers and plants out front. You must enjoy your home looking nice and probably work hard making it that way. What if I told you I can make over your lawn for only $xx, and you dont have to do anything!, now thats something I can get behind.

After signing up and the techs missing 3 appts I decided to cancel my service and get a refund, then 2 days later MARSHALL from the Daytona beach office calls me numerous times telling me how he was going to oversee my acct personally and make sure I was taken care of, so i decided to sign back up on his guarantee and then after my wife and i spend weeks removing woodchips and shrubs and laying 4 pallets of sod in the miserable heat we had this beautiful front lawn, then their tech comes out and kills a bunch of my lawn with some spray he put on it, so I call Marshall and he tries telling me it is some fungus(funny I didnt know fungus understood geometry since most of the dead lawn has perfect square corners ) then he wont come look at it, I cant get a service manager to call me.I RECOMMEND SAVING THE MONEY, I SPENT $700.00 TO HAVE SOME IDIOT KILL MY LAWN AND HAVE THE PEOPLE ANSWERING THE PHONE TELLING ME THEY ARE SORRY I HAD BAD SERVICE.RUN FROM THESE PEOPLE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY CAUSE THEY DONT CARE!!!!!!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Weeds, weeds, weeds is all I got from their lawn service. When I called - its because they applied fertilizer, that makes everything grow. After chasing them for 4 months I finally got someone to show up that was supposed to handle the issues (kill weeds, replace ruined sections of lawn) - they came out and sprayed weed killer and poof! disappeared, leaving me with a half dead front lawn. Buyer beware - youre better off on your own or find someone local. Do NOT trust this company with your lawn.

I was quoted 1/2 off for my first visit which should have been $25.00. The day of the appointment I was working and left gate open for them to do the first service. I get a bill that stated that they had preformed 3 service visits at once, and billed me for over $135.00. I have since tried to reach out to get this resolved about 10 times and no one has even contacted me. This is a horrible company to deal with. I am going to find out who the neighbors use which is a local company. There yards look 10 times better than mine. Forgot TruGreen and there gimmicks to lure you in!!

Beware! they do not care about quality.. over priced and unprofessional. got over charged, corrected it after a lengthy phone call and going from person to person... requested a respray for fire ants bc ants returned... NO courtesy call so they didnt even come into my back yard... they also did not even spray! I called back they said they would send someone again, well that was weeks ago. so I paid 100 bucks for subpar service on a product that did not deliver. dont waste your time our money they have no idea what they are doing and have terrible communication.

They do not do what they say they are going to do. Service Manger lacks integrity and is very unprofessional. I was hung up on when I was explaining my situation about my service. Employees do not knock on doors to discuss lawn care when applying treatment. They do not spray all areas as indicated. Sales will do anything to get your money. Ethics of the company are lacking and it is very obvious based on the way they treat their customer. Find another company....they simply do not care about your lawn or you as a customer!

Worried my elderly parents are getting taken advantage of. The representative came out (without prior knowledge or consent) to inspect their trees and shrubs. Luckily, not one but two black widows were spotted, and a whole story about how one was male, one female, egg laying, male eaten......scared my mom enough to sign up for the service. No proof, no pictures. (the tech got close enough to see the sex of these spiders but they were too fast for a picture?) My question is this: if these spiders are present in the shrubs and can reproduce, and become hundreds of dangerous spiders, why didn’t the technician treat the shrub immediately? Hmmmm......

Extremely bad business attitude ! Absolutely NO business ethics !TruGreen agent very annoying, ringed the bell, knocked the door even nobody opened door. This is really not acceptable business practice !!!

TruGreen lawn care was ok for about 6 months. After that our lawn became the worst looking lawn in the neighborhood due to TruGreens neglect. Part of this is my fault. I became too trusting and assumed they were doing the right thing. I couldnt have more wrong. Large bare spots were appearing, weeds were taking over, Chinch bugs were eating away my grass. Most recently, TruGreen aerated my lawn. The tech broke three sprinklers and slightly damaged several others. I took the time a few days earlier to clearly flag/mark the location of each sprinkler to prevent something like this happening. I found the flags/markers mangled along with the sprinklers. The tech left and didnt say anything about what he had done. He did a hundred dollars worth of damage. That was the last straw. Hence, this less than flattering review. The only other comment I can say is, beware!

DID A VERY GOOD JOB

I use to use TrueGreen for years then I had to let them go as I was not happy with the status of my lawn. I went to the private small companies and had good and bad experiences but last summer my lawn hit its all time low. I finally decided to give TrueGreen another try. WOW! has the company came light years ahead of the rest. Our Technician Mike Carter upon our first meeting told me to save my money and not re-sod a large section of my front yard. He assured me to give him a chance and by spring he would have my yard on track. WOW! he did exactly what he said and went over and beyond my expectations. My St Augustine is fuller and the turf thicker than it has been in years. He is a stellar employee for your company and needs to be recognized not just for being good at the job. His customer service and quaintness is above the call of duty. As busy as he is if youre there when he comes he takes the time to make you feel as if youre his only customer. The new customer portal and customer service gives you that small company feel that most desire. We just sold our home and as sad as we are to lose Mike Carter and this great yard we have turned the info over to our buyers and have just set up service for our first treatment in our new House in Oveido. Lets see if TruGreen can get that one on track.

They might provide a great service, but they conveniently left out the fact that they dont actually offer landscaping. They just charge you for laying fertilizer/weed control down.......thats it. Nothing i couldnt already do myself. Hilarous
