I recently had an event at the new Dayton Club and was utterly surprised at everything. I ordered a bit of food for about 30 folks and was able to have an area reserved. I was actually proposing to my fiancé. The Dayton Club was amazing with service and accommodations for the night. All of the food was snatched up and eaten fast. Everyone loved everything that was there. The views are amazing as well. If you can time it right for golden hour and the sun sets you are in for a treat. My only complaint is the price of the drinks. A bit pricey for what you are getting. But hey I am a cheap guy. Would highly suggest dinner there as well. Great menu.

This place has THE best view in Dayton. Resting on the very top of the highest tower in Dayton you can see the entire Miami Valley. I recommend going for breakfast and getting a view the sun rising or reserving a table for dinner to watch sun down. Nothing beats the view. The food has improved greatly with the promotion of Chef Amin. He knows how to deliver on the finest of meats, crafted ice creams and everything in between. The hospitality is up and coming and delivers great value from a membership point of view. One of my favorite spots for business meetings.

Beautiful views of the city! Members and invites only, private parties and meetings. A little pricey but all worth it. Theres new management and everyone I met was pleasant. An absolute must see for visitors and natives.

The Dayton Club formerly the Dayton racquet club was a good place to nine out for me was a good place for employment its a real shame youre no longer be around my hats off to all the staff that I have worked with for over the past 8 years I was there and God bless everybody

I was a member back in the late 70s for a few years, but havent been there since. I asked to try out the club and was offered a one month complimentary membership. During that month I was only able to visit the club a few times, mostly for lunch and to go to the gym, but the experience was certainly good enough to convert to a full membership when the complimentary expired. Last night I went to the club for dinner with a business partner to celebrate closing a (for me) big deal, and could not have had a better experience. The service (thanks Marc) was excellent. The Scotch was excellent. The wine was excellent. The caramel cheese cake was excellent. The Grand Marnier was excellent. The view was great. And the food was as good as Ive ever had!Maybe my experience was favorably tainted by the exuberant nature of the celebration, but I dont think so. Im looking forward to many more visits and using The Club to shape relationships and build memories.

I was the attending Officiate at a wedding at the Racquet Club. The staff was over and beyond accommodating for the Bride. They didnt have to be nice to me, but were very friendly and personable, including the manager. The view is outstanding. We will return for one of their wine tastings. Well done!

This place has gone downhill in the past six months. Seems like the new manager does not know how to manage. Terrible food, the ladies locker room is in need of attention, unorganized wait staff and everything is just a rushed and almost fast food chain atmosphere. No longer sophisticated! Just a bar with 40 year old workers from the building.

I recently held my fathers 50th Birthday at The Dayton Racquet Club. It was the most pleasant experience. The staff was attentive, expedient, knowledgeable, respectful, and amiable. They tended to our every whim before we ever had to ask. The ambiance is amazing. The view, with ceiling to floor windows allows you to see the breath taking city scape. its is amazing and breathtaking at night. The events coordinator Daniela and her assistant Lynn were very helpful and attentive. They were patient with all the changes and questions I had, and never did i feel like i was burdening them. They truly cared about the success of my event and that made me feel special and appreciated as a consumer. During the decoration process i dropped and shattered my vase. the staff immediate ran to aid, cleaned up my mess, helped me breath and found an extra vase for me to use for my centerpiece. They followed all of my requests to the T and my fathers big day was truly a success. I appreciate all that they did for us, and I highly recommend The Dayton Racquet Club for your next event.

We attended a wedding here. It was very pretty and the staff was very nice. However the steaks were all cooked blue rare, so 30 seconds on each side. I couldnt stomach eating it. The rest of the food was great though.

My wife bought a membership for my birthday years ago and we have been members ever since.One of the best things they did was to put in 29 Stories (the bar with TVs in the southwest corner) a couple years back.Friendly staff and nice atmosphere to eat great food and have a few drinks while watching a game on the couches provided.

One of Daytons top spots for a breakfast meeting...nice buffet and cooked-to-order omelettes. Best view of the city and excellent service. Get there early as weekday breakfast serving ends at 9am. Also, dress to impress...this isnt a diner.

Absolute beautiful venue. Has perfect sight of the city. The event coordinators could be quicker to respond when trying to get in touch for planning but an overall great venue for any formal or professional event.

Incredible view of the downtown Dayton area, especially beautiful during the holidays. We attended a business party for my husbands work. We found the food (salmon with beurre blanc and risotto, and filet oscar) to be unmatched in taste, texture and presentation. Exquisitely well done. The service staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. It was a memorable experience.

First off I want to start by saying I really wanted to like this place but it is really hard too. My first mistake was going to a place with a online discount. I have to stopped getting ripped off into these deals. We schedule a reservation for dinner probably about a two months ago and thought wow what luck was it to get the exact time we wanted at the place. Well the day of our reservation came and everything was going as planned. Then my wife saw their site said they were hosting a wedding and they were closed. We desperately called them during the day trying to confirm our reservation including leaving them messages. We called them even past the time of their opening and what do you know nothing. The really crappy thing about it we never were called back to return the message.So fast forward to near the end of the discount coupon we got and we received a reservation for the last night. So we get there and the place looks really cool at the top of the tallest building in Dayton. The restaurant was very romantic and they even brought my wife a rose before dinner. The food was just okay in our opinion. My wife loves Creme brûlée but she felt it was prepared well before it being served and the layer of sugar on the top was like a piece of glass. But honestly at this part of the dinner I still thought the place was awesome and would have went back b/c I am a fan of high building with restaurants. This is were it went downhill they brought the first receipt out and it looked really weird. I said to my wife I will give them my card they will fix this. First mistake the bill came out really messed up.The were trying to charge me for the dinner voucher I already paid for 3 months prior. I pointed out the issue and they took my bill back 3 times and messed with it for 30 minutes and finally the director said it was on the club. I am thankful for that but not sure how they couldnt figure out the deal they had been running for months and it was the last night for the promotion.I learned to not do these type of things in the future. I gave them a three b/c they director tried to fix the issue but I would go back again. Although I do place some fault on promotions. The restaurants want to bring in new customers but dont really want to honor the deals they offer b/c they are only marginally profitable or maybe even a loss leader. We realized once their the deal that promised us half off maybe saved us 20 bucks tops and locked up our money for a three month period so be leery of these deals.

Dinner Friday March 23rd... had the scallops....cooked to perfection.....absolutely delicious!

I ordered the most expensive meal on the menu....fillet mignon... and the steak itself was fine, but the sauce and the mushrooms did not seem to be freshly prepared.

It is a nice place for banquets or large group parties, elegant area on the top floor Daytons tallest building with some nice views.For the pricing of the food though, the food is pretty subpar. You could spend $42 on a filet at Pine Club or Oakwood Club in Dayton and it would blow Dayton Racquets meal out of the water. Very below average meal for a private members dinner club.The service was also sketchy. There was a 20% service charge, but our waitress stated it didnt cover her tip. So we left a 20% tip but were charged for an amount that didnt match the receipt. We asked and she said their accountant estimates an added tip and charges you that. Then after a couple days it evens out? She also said theres a possibility I might be double charged.All in all, go spend $100 on a meal at a nicer steak house, maybe even a chain steaks house.

My wife and I have been members for a couple years now. We enjoy taking out-of-towner friends and our local friends there. Many of them, for the first time. The service from the moment we step off the elevator onto the 29th floor, to a parting Good-night for the evening, is always impeccable. The staff is well prepared to handle all of our questions from choosing a proper wine, to helping choose between the beautifully prepared meals. We have hosted several parties and gatherings there and everything has been top-notch. For a true dining pleasure in Dayton, this is a great facility for the view, the food, the accommodations and the friendship! Thank you, DRC!
