Great locally family-owned auto service place. Its the only place I go to for repairs. Ive been going here for over 25 years and my parents have been going there for even longer. They are honest and give you the straight facts without any runaround. I highly recommend this place.

My explorer needed some front end work back in December. I called & they got my truck in the same day. Within hours I got a call from Scott letting me know what I needed as well as a solid # on the repair cost. It was quite a bit of work and I needed my explorer pretty much the next day. Nonetheless they pulled off an mechanical miracle and got it done. The price was right, turn around time was beyond what I could reasonably expect. Bottom line, if you’re in need of automotive repair you’re cheating yourself if you don’t at least give Wallick’s a chance to quote you. For me, there’s no other. They’ve earned my business no question.

They took care of my sons Subaru. Someone had added aftermarket headlights, one of which failed. No other shop would even touch it. Wallicks got the lights returned to stock quicker than expected for less $ than expected

Best car place I have found here! I called and needed my A/C fixed asap, along with a couple other items that I have been putting off. I had went to two other shops and they both recommended me to go to the dealer. Good thing my husband googled best car repair shops in the QC Wallicks popped up and he suggested I try. I called and Scott was able to get me in the very next day. He called several times and let me know what was wrong and the price after each diagnosis! This was my favorite part! It was up to me to make the decision to keep going with repairs. Wallicks was quick, fixed it in one day! I now have ice cold air and a new favorite car repair place, we will definatly be back in the future, and will recommend them to anyone I know!

Wallick’s is great! Over the course of 10 years, they’ve serviced 3 different vehicles for me. They are honest, they aren’t pushy, their costs are extremely competitive, just overall good people. The team also has a sense of humor as I tried to fix my own problem, they listened, had a good laugh and it was picked up and ready the next day. Highly recommended!!!

Its a nice touch and puts your mind at ease that you made the appointment.I recently had my oil changed and they noticed my windshield washer fluid reservoir cap had gone missing, I lost it while refilling in the winter. They quickly called me and had one in by the end of the day. I arrived around closing, and they still installed it for me.I cannot recommend these guys enough!

I have been taking my vehicles here for 16 years. The staff tells it like it is. If its not broken then they tell you its not broken. If they notice wear they let me know and let me know if I can safely wait a bit longer before replacing. They happily answer questions and explain things I dont understand. They are not “cheap but they are reasonable and I trust them and their work implicitly.

I have used Wallicks multiple times and recommended them on more than one occasion. The staff is always very friendly and the quality of service has always been very good. Of the times that Ive taken my car in for an inspection, theyve recommended both service and also that service wasnt necessary. They always seem to actually have your best interest in mind, not just running the bill up as high as possible.Update 2020. I took my car in to have them look at it again, for a repair that the dealer said was necessary (oil pan leak). He asked if Id seen any drips anywhere, which I havent, so he suggested that the repair wasnt necessary because there really wasnt enough oil to justify the repair. You could do it, but I wouldnt if it was my car. I really appreciate the honest opinion and giving me the options, thats why Ill keep going back!

As a student at St. Ambrose University, I found Wallicks to be the fastest and most affordable auto mechanic shop in the area. I have been going to Wallicks for years. Not because they have to re-fix things they didnt do right the first time, but because my car is tired and needs help. To give you an idea, when my tires are worn out, my car is technically totaled. It wont be long before the same is true of an empty gas tank.Wallicks is fast, honest, and do a fantastic job. I frequently drop my car off, give them the symptoms, and tell them to fix it. The next day, it is fixed. As I get older, I have less patience to do my own repairs. Ill still do my own brakes and oil changes, but when it comes to ball joints or tie-rod ends, they have more experience in determining which piece of the puzzle is causing me problems than I do. The starter on my car is easy to get to, so I replaced it myself. But the radiator... forget it. It was worth it for them to take the car apart to get it out. I love the fact that if they have ANY question about what I want them to do, they will call first. Other mechanics will do unnecessary work and expect you to pay. I would give Wallicks more stars if it would let me.Now, I know they have customers who are not happy with them. But these customers just dont know anything about the car they drive, and they expect favors and handouts. I saw a customer get upset with them because something on the left side of their vehicle stopped working shortly after they had the vehicle in to have the same thing on the right side of their car fixed. They were trying to hold Wallicks accountable for their old and tired car wearing out. Wallicks only fixes what needs to be fixed, unless you ask for more.

This place gets the job DONE! Had 3 different mechanics look at my car for a noise it was making and no one could figure it out. I dropped it off at this shop and they got it fixed and at a fair price! Going forward this is the shop I will use for anything I cant fix myself.

Wallicks actually seems to care about their customers. Theyve been friendly, knowledgeable, and upfront with me and others. One of the mechanics saved me a lot of money by giving me sound advice about how I could fix an apparent issue I had with my vehicle, instead of simply quoting me high prices like everyone else. Theyve done quality work for me more affordably than the rest, too. They use quality replacement parts - not overpriced crap. It was hard for me to schedule an immediate appointment, but I can understand why now - they are swamped with business because they earned it. Highly recommended.
