As first time homebuyers, my husband and I were a bit nervous about starting the whole process and had a lot of questions. Claire put us at ease throughout the entire process and helped us negotiate an offer that was accepted on a beautiful home in Pleasant Hill! To start the process Claire had us come to her office and asked us all about what we were looking for in a dream home including: location, price range, schools and more. It was so nice to get to spend time with her face to face before going to an open house or having a long phone/email conversation. Claire also had a lender join us for the meeting (Sue from BofA), we really liked her and used her through our whole process. Claire is extremely knowledgeable about the market, listens intently, provides insight, and effortlessly guides buyers throughout the process. Buying a home in this market is very challenging, but working with Claire made it as painless and straightforward as possible. Claire is very sweet and doesn’t bat an eye, when you want a condo one day and a 4 bedroom single family home the next for example. Claire is so helpful with going through all the crazy documents that were so foreign to us. We put in offers on 4 homes and on our 4th one we found the house that we loved the most! We asked Claire her thoughts on do a preemptive offer and she said it was a great idea. We informed her that we wanted to do this the Friday before the first open house on Saturday and she moved everything along so quickly that our offer was accepted Friday night at 7pm!
