We were looking to buy our first home in the Tri-Valley during the Spring of 2021--yep, one of the craziest times to buy.From our first intro call it was very clear that he was interested in getting to know us as a family, to understand our needs, and ultimately what we were looking for in a home. Our experience felt like he was a friend that was helping us look for the best home for our family.-Knowledgeable- Robert has been doing this for years and it shows. He has been through the different market waves and lives in the Tri-Valley area, so is familiar with the nuances of each neighborhood. During each step of the process he was always one step ahead. The house that we bought had 15 bids and included some counter offers and some back and forth communication. In the end, when we got into contract and met the selling agent in passing she said, “wow you have an amazing agent, he is so persistent!” He does a lot behind the scenes to make you stand out in such a crowded market. We know that his approach played an important role in us securing our home.-Integrity - It was clear to us that it was important to Robert that he gave us answers that were based on facts. He is transparent and honest with his approach and answers. There was a moment where we considered a high bid and he tempered us based on his read of the market even though it may have been an easy win for him and financially benefited him. He spent time going over pros and cons of different decisions and we never felt like he was pushy. In fact, he has a very calm demeanor that is incredibly supportive during these big life decisions. Lastly, when it came to recommending lenders he gave me a list of about 6 instead of the 1 lender that other agents push you towards.Bottom line is that we are so fortunate to have Robert as our agent. People refer to the current market as a seller’s market, but it’s not the whole story. Without the right agent, you’ll never secure the right property...it’s an agent’s market, and there is no one better than Robert. This was the biggest financial decision of our lives, and there is no doubt in our minds that we had the right person in our corner.

Embarking on the journey of purchasing your first home, and in the current real estate market amidst a pandemic, is a challenge in and of itself. Robert came highly recommended to us, and I have to say we would not have been able to land the house of our dreams if it weren’t for him!
