Lowe’s has quite the variety, though not everything you might need.Items are expensive, but that’s probably typical for big box home improvement stores.This location is well-organized and though it can be difficult to find staff for questions, they’re always super helpful once you do. (The lady in the paint section comes to mind.)

6/24/21 - received outstanding service from a young guy named Eric. Super polite and professional, insisted on helping me load the order. I was impressed enough to offer him a job making more money but he politely turned me down, stating how much he liked working there. Nice to see money isnt everything to everyone. While he admitted he still has a lot to learn about home construction, his customer service is EXACTLY what consumers like me want.

I spent one hour there needing to purchase a stove but I was dress dusty from working all day and had a couple staff only look to see if I was trying to shoplift 😒. I brought a nice stove somewhere else at a cheaper price than what Lowes had to offer. Wouldve spent more than that if someone there would be there for me. Please more help to your customers instead of trying so hard to stock the shelves!!!!

Very poor customer service I have started a job and had the materials I needed to finish in my cart and got halfway through the job and the items that were in my car were removed and declined my order Im unaware of the reason for this but Im highly upset being a normal customer and spinning a lot of money in the store the items I need it are now discontinued so I have lost all of the money I have invested in this job because Lowes failed to secure my order properly. I want to know how to proceed with trying to get the items needed to finish hate my job Im absolutely disappointed and the customer service and security of the orders please send me any information you can provide on where I can get the item I need the only option is to receive the items that I had in my cart and left Lowes will reimburse me for the money already spent. Feel free on any suggestions you might have to solve this problem in a timely manner I shop at Lowes quite often and do not at all feel that I have been treated fairly this is extremely inconvenient and unacceptable as a customer.

Do not buy anything at Lowe’s in Danville Virginia. Everything that I have been buying there I am having to return. I brought smoke Detecters there and they didn’t even last 4 months. I brought a stove for them they send me a damaged stove. I refused it and had waited over a month to get a new one. I just brought a washer and a dryer from them and I can’t even use the dryer.

I understand they hire people with no background, which is fine, but they should at least have someone working that they can go to to get help. Ive always been a Lowes person but Home depot is better than Lowes in Danville.

Overcrowded! Whoever was supposed to be working the Landscaping Department was M.I.A. I went in to purchase some bags of River Rocks and the one guy that was back there acted like I was invisible. He walked away with a guy and never even bothered to come back to see what I needed. All of the discounted flowers had to be rung up individually so that the discount could be punched in. It was truly an ordeal. I would go earlier in the day, but some of us actually have to work. The only good thing about the whole experience was the young lady working the register, Dawn. She explained what she was having to do and was very patient. We both became a little frustrated when no one could be reached in the back, but we worked it out. I ended up loading those heavy bags of rocks myself. I think the next time Ill give Home Depot a try.

Wanted to give a shout out over in Outdoor power equipment last couple days I came inside the store and seen Josh over there working hard. He had people lined up to be waited on. He kept a calm and friendly manner when someone walked by he would always greet them! This guy needs a raise and store manager needs to praise him for his accomplishments!

Use to find anything I needed at Lowes, now most of my time is like being on a hidden go seek for merchandise. When the sign says items are on that aisle you would think you would be able to find it yet instead it was several aisles over. Also some items use to be sold separately where you could buy any number you needed but now forced to buy the entire pack just to get one or two that was all you was needing. Also encountered a very rude cashier that was so busy being rude she neglected to ring up one item I was trying to pay for and charged me for another item I just wanted a price on and did not take it back off when I told her I didnt want it and neglected to put that item in my bag. Cashiers shouldnt be yelling over gossiping to other workers and paying attention to the customer at their register and to what the heck they are doing. More like her could put a place out of business.

Curtis went above and beyond to get out needs when we called just before closing with a hot water heater pipe leaking, we sent him a picture and he got what we needed and had us back home for the repair in minutes. We cant thank him enough for his service and genuine caring heart, even my 7 year old was compliment him for what he did for us...

Lowes is usually busy, but they also do a good job. Sometimes they are under stocked, but the staff is really helpful. The delivery service is far better than competitors and really makes it worth going here. In an emergency they even helped squeeze me in a refrigerator delivery even though they were very packed on delivery schedule.

Had to call for online order status due to no online update. Delivery due at store for 7/23 first person to answer phone at pickup desk didnt seem to know how to perform this task. I asked if he needed the order # to help him locate the order, this seemed like a new idea to him. Finally said system says its here. I had to asked to verify it was in store. Now a female is on the phone with same results. After several minutes I was offered a manager to speak to and was transferred. Now I had to repeat all info again. The manager checked the same system same answer. He then said he would check the backroom and call back. He did call 30 minutes later that he found it. Couldnt one of the first 2 have performed this part of their job? No confidence in Lowes online system or people manning pickup desk. Home depot is looking better each visit or order at Lowes.

I cant give any stars, but i have to at least give one to post this, the customer service was terrible me and wife was there and waiting over 30 minutes for someone to help us in the blinds department we needed help getting blinds cut, employees would walk by and not even ask if we need help, on employee was walking by, I asked her if that was her department she no she works at the register and kept walking instead of saying, I work at the register but let me call someone over for you, then finally an employee came and called on the Entercom 5 or 6 times that someone needs help on isle 7, finally someone came 10 minutes later only to say she doesnt know how to cut them and she couldnt find anyone that does.... very disappointed with the service.

Store was clean, and everything I needed was there; however, the employee that I asked for help from in finding a hex screw wasnt any help at all. He told me Id have to change the head of the screw and the color, but I found exactly what I needed...after rummaging through all the screws in the department alone. Ill go to South Boston Lowes next time.

“ Safety team leader” asked if we needed any help, and by the time we answered “yes, were trying to purchase this toilet right here” and gestured towards what we needed help getting she walked away to her fashion/Bath desk. We then approached her asking if she could assist in helping us find a push cart to carry the toilet to the front she looks at us and says “YOU CANT PAY HERE” before we even asked the question.She was more interested in her phone it seemed like as she walked away, mindless question of “do you guys need any help?” With no intent to actually be of assistance.

As a store lowes offers a quick fix solution for your every day fixer upper however my gripe is there sub contractors. After watching my mother go through nearly 3 months of a battle with their service pros over install of a botched floating hardwood floor in July of 2020 I would never recommend them to contract the work. The floor is binding and has expanded to where it is buckling in many areas. Being a pro contractor you would think that expansion would be taken into consideration as its normal for most wood. Let me remind you expansion for wood is not the same as say expansion for a balloon. Her time is being wasted by the contractor and lowes. The contractor is blaming a faulty product saying lowes has to contact the manufacturing company. Lowes is saying its the contractor that has to contact the company and nothing has been done after multiple contacts with either manager and her calls are starting to be outright ignored. My mother in her mid 60s takes care of her mother in her mid 90s coupled with having to finish erep with the county school system this should be the last thing she should have to worry about coming from professionals. At this point she is currently seeking legal action as its obvious both parties are trying to blame the other and not take responsibility hoping she will get frustrated and not pursue the issue further.Edit: Close to one year after the reported problem the flooring has been taken care of however my review will stay the same because as a business this was 100% unacceptable.

It was a typical trip to a home improvement store. I found the wide variety of things I needed without much trouble and the staff were helpful. However, the store was filthy, littered with trash, and very few people were wearing face coverings. It wasnt busy, so social distance was easy enough but, when its crowded, social distancing at the self checkouts is a joke. They have them all open and theyre just a few feet from each other. They should close a few, in my opinion.

Purchased various kitchen appliances from this store. Several were returned due to damage including the refrigerator. Replacement refrigerator also damaged (broken seal around door). It was not discovered immediately and contractor has had no luck having Lowes replace. Connecting with their service department is impossible (60+ minute hold times). We have a lemon and Lowes will not support customer. Lowes is the next Sears. I have tried to get their assistance but all corporate speak with apologies but no action.

The company I work for prepurchasd a refrigerator. I went to the customer service/pickup counter. I only had to wait a short time before being waited on. She saw an employee walking by and had him pull the purchase. I was a little surprised it was not waiting up front. So he goes back and retrieves the purchase. Upon returning he stated I might want to look at it as he heard some rattling...we opened the box and it was fine...he asked if I needed help loading. I declined the offer and off I went. All and all it was a smooth experience. It could have been waiting up front. Thats the only small hiccup on that purchase
