I checked in at 7:00 am, now it’s 10:17am still waiting to get a door! People checked in after me they get called for unloading I asked the receiving office they said that there’s no empty docks! I don’t advise drivers to come here and try to avoid this place as much as you can; there’s no internet service or with low signal unless if you want to lose your day!!!!

This spot is horrible I will never deliver here again .this is a big company but horrible in loading an unloading my app was at 8pm an im typing now an it 100am in morning so that should tell u alot

Attn: Drivers, when entering facility pull to right curb of driveway to wait in line. Do not walk up to guard hack until you are first in line at stop sign by the actual guard shack. They will tell you to go back to your truck.My experience here was good.Appt: 18:00Arrived: 17:00In door: 17:45Bills in hand and outa there 20:40.9 items on 17 pallets of chicken.

I have been to this facility twice before now and always no less than 3 hours no matter how light the load.But today is the worse.Checked in at 3pm its now 6:30 and I dont see an end in sight.I didnt mind the first two times,left here once at 10pm after checking in at 4.Today is special they have out bound trailers in doors holding up 12 drivers on the clock.We run out of time someone else pays the price.If this company cant handle it they need to cancel the loads.No driver wants to sit in a drive way for 5 + hours.Believe the reviews,no one is fabricating.NEGATIVE one star!

Slowest place ever. Had a 1700 appt time and arrived at 1630. Got backed into dock and never started til after 1930. They fished at 2200 and charged me $240.00. Without even calling me with the fee like they told me they would. No option of letting driver unload or pay lumped fee. $50.00 of that was for bad pallet fee, restack fee, double stack fee. I told them that I should charge them $50.00 an hour for going past my window time appointment. They didnt find my comment funny. But lumper service are a scam and should be illegal practice.

Well I read other reviews and was hoping it wasnt that bad....well it is even worse...6pm appt and checked in at 5pm....trucks lined up....was told to go across the street to little hole in the wall truckstop and they would call when they have a door......DO NOT BRING A LOAD HERE EVER.....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.....IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD.....DEFINITELY WONT BE BACK.....I ONLY HAVE 280 CASES AND GONNA PROBABLY TAKE ALL NIGHT

First review I have ever written and I felt I had no choice but to document the worse experience of my career and probably going to be the most costly.DO NOT come to this place thinking you will make it anywhere else in a timely fashion. Here for a 4pm appointment timely and it is 1am and I am still being told that the paperwork isn’t ready. SMH and tired of sleeping already.

Avoid this place. All bad reviews are true. Dont deliver here at all. App was at 1815 and checked in 1630. Waited over 4hrs just to get in door. Only 10 pallets to unload. Now 0122 next day still waiting receive text msg to pay the lumper. This place is a joke. Please dont deliver here you will waste your time.

I am not sure how they stay in business I arrived 3:30 for 4:00 now it 5:18 and 4 trucks are still a head of me this has to be the worst system I have ever see!!

I always find myself reading reviews before I arrive to new locations... And for the most part the experience of others can be backed. The guard shack was the best part of this visit. At the end I was called with four other drivers to come pick up B.O.Ls . Ill just say we were called for nothing because once we got to the door some one didnt have our bills... So, we had to wait some more... It was a lil upsetting... I just say that

Very unorganized and lady on the phone in the AM was rude. They work strictly by appointments which is fine. But when you get in the dock to unload the lumper people dont start to unload you at your appointment time. We sat there waiting to be unloaded for 2 or 3 hours. My husband called to check because the red light came on immediately after we parked but shortly after he called and mentioned detention pay or whatever its called they immediately started unloading us. The gentleman parked next to us got mad that we got unloaded before he did because he said he had been sitting there for 5 hours. Then you have to pay the lumpers fee on the computer or your phone. Nobody tells you anything. There are no signs, very little communication. So if its your first time which it was ours you have no way of knowing what to do. The green light comes on and you wonder if you can go or not but you wonder how you are going to pay the lumper people and how much you owe. Eventually you get a text on your phone that tells you to either download this software or go to website to pay lumper fee. You still have no idea how much yet. We went to website. The amount popped up the company name and the company Federal tax id came up. So then you wonder how do you get comcheck #. My husband called his company they gave him the number he was going to need. So he pressed pay and sure enough they asked for that number. So he enters the number. So then it appears its been paid. But a message comes through that tells you not to start truck or pull out until receipt comes through. So we waited another 40 minutes and my husband had to call to find out whats going on. The lady that night was very nice told him to come down to a certain yellow door. She had to check and see if the receipt had come through yet and if it hadnt she would see why not. So just drive the truck down to yellow door and come on in. So he did. She looked and said oh here it is it came. You want me to text or email you a copy. Our appointment was at 4:00pm. They do not start one minute before 4:00 they told us but there is a long line waiting by 4:00. We got out of there at 8:45pm It was crazy to say the least and I hope we dont have to go back there. We lost. Way too much time there. We had another load to pick up after that one but we lost it because of McLane keeping us so late.

Came with 38 pallets and that was a mistake. They unloaded one pallet every 20 minutes and ended up sitting in a door for 8 hours while the reefer ran at -1

Guard on 2nd shift was very very rude met first time for 2min parked on road going out just to send emails came running down to me and started harassing me screaming at me dont think he needs to even work for this place on 6/30/21 at 1am think harressment charges may be filed on him plus corporate will be called havent been to this place in 2 years and this is how Im treated plus there for 6hrs 45min

Negative stars if possible, they wont take you in even if you are on your appointment time. Wore place to deliver. I was 2 hours early they made me turn around and asked me to come 15 min before your scheduled time then Ive to wait for 1 hour to get in the gate and another 6 hours to get unload. $90 lumper fee. Horrible Horrible horrible Horrible experience.

If I could give them zero stars I would. This company is a joke. They have their truck drivers waiting at least 4 hours for up to 12 hours. It’s absurd as if us drivers don’t have anything better to do. And their yard dog working there is a smart a@@ he looks like he’s strung out on meth and rude. Plus he says huuuuu? Like he’s hard hearing constantly. Their corporate office needs to come in here and do a complete makeover. This place is pathetic.

Staff friendly, nice lounge area to warm up food and or buy snacks which is necessary because they take a ridiculous amount of time to unload. Check in process is flawed also, youll wait in line right until your appointment time to get a door only for them to take 3-5 hours to unload you.

Nice people, no overnight parking but theres a small truck stop right across from warehouse!!

Receiving start close to 4pm. Truck stop 1/2 mile down the road. They’ll only check you in 2hrs from your appointment,when you reach the stop sign, you can park and check in.

An hour just to get in the gate, then told well call when the paperwork is done, but no call just a text with lumber fee to be done electronically 3 and a half hours later, then after payment made still have to wait till they call for you to get paperwork another hour and half and all this for only 10 pallets not to mention being late for the next stop

Bad experience with driver who block my car in on Purpose, the police was called but driver refused to move!

If it were possible they would get a 0. Never come here for any reason unless you need a 10hr break. $355.00 lumper fee...in at 15:00 out at 22:20. Someone needs to do something about the Capstone money scheme.

Appointment at 1900, took me in @ 1800...no problems. The problem? I didnt get the lumper call until 2220...not out the gate till 2300.They will not take you in early, just an hour before.Do the math. Plan to get here at the end of your day, not beginning.If a place cant unload in a timely manner, then why not clear out a corner for those that deliver your stuff? Blah blah leader, logistics and blah blah... Little wonder the reviews are all the same 1-3 stars across the nation. And this is the better spot.Dont bother, no parking overnight. Marathon half a mile is, well, half a mile away. That spot is A+, but thats a good and positive experience after the loss of your 4-5 hours for unloading... That was in the evening, with less traffic coming in.

Really easy and efficient check in process. Guards are friendly and helpful. Arrived at 7:30 pm for a 9:00pm appt. They had me on a door by 8:30 pm. Unloaded and bills in hand by 11:00 pm.They dont have overnight parking but there is a pretty large truck stop across the road from the DC.

Would give zero stars if possible waited 6 hours to get unloaded, don’t know what they are doing in there but shouldn’t even take 1 hour to unload the truck and do the paperwork

First time delivering here. The place is clean, friendly staff and unloaded fairly quick. In and out in less then two hours. I understand being on time is very important. My first stop took way too long to unload and made me late to my second stop (9 mins late). I was considered a no show at 12:08pm. I arrived at 12:17pm. They would not take the order because I was 9 mins late. Wow! Lost a day of work, $100 on a room and lost my load for my next trip. Really guys? Wow! MH Transportation. Juan.

McLean has hired a bunch of these Liars and thieves I asked him if I could see the 50 broken wood pallets did the freight came on and they couldnt provide me one but they try to show me a picture like Im the idiot to believe the desk of pallet became off the truck no documentation did that palette was broken came off for the truck I delivered with the freight ..I tried to discuss this matter with the lady handling the paperwork she brushed me off and didnt wanna hear anything talk to the lumpers everybody and theres a supervisor . My driver has been at the dock for more than 3 hours now. They need to understand the drivers E-log and respect his/her time. Appointments are made for a reason. I no longer will take their loads. Taking too long to unload.

Bad place. They make you stand in line outside the facility and walk to do the paperwork. Once inside the download dock, they make you wait more than 2 hours to download.

Awesome, unload In 25 minutes, but make sure u make ur appointment on time, otherwise they charge late fee..

This place is the perfect example why the government should go after the shippers and receivers if they want hours of service compliance. You load in the morning and you have to deliver same day in the middle of the night. How do you do this legally. Plus they keep you here for hours.

Hey trucker brother Im just letting you know right now this is not the place you want to pick up and or deliver. I arrived one hour early for my delivery and they held me for 9 hours. The lumpers here suck. Im like as long as you took it should have been free but of course it wasnt. Luckily there is a truck stop right down the street about quarter mile and its not listed on the GPS it is not the best place in the world but hey its a place to park.

You can’t arrive more than 1hour before appointment. Expensive lumper, took them 3 hours to unload and another 1.5 hours to do paperwork. 4.5 hours in total.

Horrible place. Get ready to wait and wait.

They unload one pallet every 30 min, count how many pallets you have, do the maths and you will get your time unloading at that place.

After 4 hours at the dock and 1 hour after the lumper fee was paid, when asking them how much longer would it take because I have another delivery I cannot miss, I heard back “we are hearing this all the time”.

Would have given 5stars if I wasnt told that the only option I had for parking was on the shoulder of the main highway across from the warehouse.....I ran out of hrs while getting unloaded, no biggie. Went to the small truck stop it was packed...decided to drive back to the guard shack and asked if it would be a problem if I park on the corner gravel lock next to the field, he said yes....I explained that the truck stop is full and I ran out of hrs getting unloaded here at McLane....he said park on the shoulder of the highway.......

Terrible place. You get there and you have to wait in line outside of the place to get a door and then you finally get in and pay the lumper and have to wait even more to get unloaded. Gonna avoid picking up and delivering here from now on. Too slow and unorganized.

Friends drivers, This is the place you will never want. make a delivery, arrive 20 minutes before my appointment, do not let you enter until the exact time of your appointment, you have to pay the super expensive lumper, and it takes more than 6 hours to download. They should be the ones who pay for the terrible service they offer. I never come back here. In conclusion A VERY BAB experience.

Whay make an appointment when take 5h to unload. From 11pm to 4am. Than they dont have comchecks. Its 10am next day had to go back. No recipe they have to emailed.....Worst experience ever....

Bottled water load took them 30 minutes to unload and 2 hours to process the payment for the lumper and another hour to call you for the bills !!!

Security guards are cool, unfortunately they changed lumper services to Capstone little slow on the unload this time not usually. no overnight parking, little truck stop down the street dirt lot. strictly By Appointment an hour early is about all theyll let you check in from what I have seen

Arrived 90 minutes before appt. time of 1600. In a dock at 1612.At 0007 I pulled out of the gate.8hrs to unload me. I checked with them multiple times and got absolutely nowhere with them. Then was told my trailer was empty (I checked, it was) could not pull away from the dock because the dock door wouldnt close and dock plate would not release!!Finally got my paperwork at 2355!!!And still had to retrieve one of my load bars they failed to return to my trailer.They could care less about the driver, and the clerk with McLane said as much. I will never come back to this place. I stopped at the truck stop near McLane and the clerk told me he has had drivers sit for a week waiting to get unloaded!!!! SMDH

Decent staff,it took forever to get in, they took awhile to unload me but due to their lunch break, and you have to pay for plumper.

They should be ashame having 2.3 star rating.. But when we stop hauling to them and when they start paying triple deliver charge, then they will change or they will shut their doors and all them unprofessionally there will be out of a job..but reading all these comments with no response from them they dont care...

Try to avoid bringing loads here if you can. You pay lumber and wait 5 hours to get unloaded.

I had to edit my review of this place from 7 months ago. I delivered here again yesterday, and it was actually stress free.

Danville, IL is the best of all the McLane locations to me. Sometimes great on unloading and sometimes slow.
