I couldnt find the shuttle. No one answered the phone. It took an hour and a half to get to the car. Once I was there, they overcharged me and sent me information through text and there was no wifi service. I never got the contract. If I had other options I would have taken them

My experience so far is horrible. I am currently at the rental place because the car the gave me brakes light are on and the car does not want to start. The time is now 4:42 pick up time was 3:00. $500 security fee which they said was a discount because I have insurance. ACO Needs to be looked into. I’m pretty sure there actions are illegal.

If I can give them negative 0000000 I most definitely will. This place is a SCAM, they keep trying to push you to pay with a credit card so they can steal your money. The low prices on the site are a scam I was only supposed to pay 108 more but when I got there it was 395. The representative was so untrained and reading off a script. Not safe for elderly people, this company will take advantage of them. Number one problem this company hides behind a 3rd party company, Economy is not with them at all ..very misleading. If you love your peace of mind, I highly advise you NOT to put yourself through this nightmare of a company. It’s very frustrating to find out his rental car place is not at the airport but is actually miles away. Imagine coming of a long flight and finding out you have to play games with the only representative at ACO may have. So my experience speaking to the representative was unpleasant. He gave us wrong directions to where the shuttle will be he said between 1&2 terminal but it’s was actually the end of number 2 at a bus stop. I wish I could give this place a 0. NOT ONLY THAT HE TELLS YOU YOU HAVE TO PAY 50 dollars a day if you don’t sign up with they sun pass . Guys don’t fall for this scam. Next stop Better Business Bureau!!!

They seem to be cheap at first, but the fees add up to way more than the rental. What they do should be illegal. They are knowingly tricking people with the price shown at booking.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They have no idea what they are doing the “general manager “ is rude and completely unprofessional. I was hung up on multiple times I asked for her supervisors information and was told she is the only one, of course. Nothing in their add is correct. The pick up information is completely incorrect. I was standing in the sun waiting for over an hour along with 3 other people who had been waiting even longer. I do not understand how this place is even still in business. Myself along with the other people I rode over on the shuttle with all left and now have to rent a car through another place. Not to mention the building it’s self is falling apart and the bench’s our front are broken which I had no idea because there was no sign or anything so when I tried to sit down I fell through. All around disgusting place with a disgusting “manager”

RUN! THESE PEOPLE ARE STRAIGHT UP SCAMMERS. They quote you a low price online but when you show up to their shady booth in the corner of the parking lot they will more than double the cost of your rental by requiring you to purchase insurance through them at an egregious daily rate. If you ask to get insurance from a third party they will require you to get $1 MILLION IN LIABILITY COVERAGE (for a 20k vehicle). These people are scum.

Do not go here. Wasted my time! Wants you to pay 20 dollars a day for a sun pass and TELLS you its required. After I refused to pay that because. From fort lauderdale and I dont use toll roads, they tried forcing me to pay at a minimum of 50 a day for insurance that I already have! Submitted two DIFFERENT forms of insurance to prove I have coverage and still tried to force me to take it! I refused and cancelled my booking. And they still want to charge me a few! Company is scammers! Dont waste your time. Wasted an hour of mine! Never again!

I rented a car with them for a weekend for work reasons, it was urgent and the truth was they did a super pleasant job, they streamlined the process for my needs and the super good prices.

This place is a scam. They try to charge you 200 in extras that you don’t need after taking your credit card and ID. No person at the desk just a 3rd party online portal with someone on the camera. Very shady beware.

Not a good experience at all. The shape and quality of the car was nothing of the money worth. Don’t let you use your insurance or your own sunpass to make up for the “low rental price” would not recommend and would not use again. There is no reason why the car being rented is in worse condition than your personal car. Said they would send a video of my inspection and that was never received. I would like to be contacted to discuss this matter with someone.

It was terrible! I rented a car with ACO Rent A Car Fort Lauderdale through Economy Bookings. Ive rented cars for years and never seen anything like this. The EB website asked for a prepayment of $21 and the balance of $144.00 to be paid at pickup. The quoted price was the price all in. Our flight from Pittsburgh was delayed so we arrived two hours late but when we arrived at the location to get the car, the building was a tiny nondescript building with no ACO signage and we had to wait 20 minutes for the representative to arrive. When she did, she told us that our reservation was cancelled because we were late. She also informed us that the $21 was charged by Economy Bookings....unbeknownst to me. She said that she could get the reservation reinstated but when she did the new price came to $308.00. Plus we had to take their insurance instead of using our own. My Issue was the bait and switch. I walked out, rented from another company, paid a little more but everything was upfront and above board. Avoid Economy Bookings and ACO Rent A Car.!

100% recommended, they treated me with pleasure, very cheap prices, and excellent cars, I went with my family and really very nice everything that has to do with them. I will be back

It took us over 3 hours to figure out and reach to their rental office since even their drivers didnt know they had changed their name to cars for less.The receptionist was not very helpful after several calls she then all of a sudden decided she doesnt understand English and opts to send me a msg through text which never came through.Reaching the office, instead of the charges agreed online, $9 a day, the elegant arrogant receptionist, firmly insists of a $35 charge a day and was totalling $272 and $200 deposit instead $76 initially agreed to.Communication was hard due to the bad attitude. They were however good they called the bus for us to take us back to the airport where we got an even better deal of $5/ day!!!

HORRIBLE ! DO NOT RENT !They will take your security deposit and give it back, they will do a walkthrough and claim the fuel is full which in realty it was half waY(i have pictures to show) they will also hang up on you and block your number for trying to rational with them. Horrible experience, I would give them a 0 star if possible !!

They play all these games with you to make up for the “cheaper” price they claim to have. I rarely cancel my reservation on the same day but their rules and restrictions are so bad, I refused to give them my business. FL residence beware, they have more restrictions for us locals, One of them is that you can’t use your own sunpass. Stay away!

They gave us car seat and it was not set up . When we stoped on a light my 2 year old hit the Passenger seat and she was crying for one hour luckily she was not hurt seriously. When we were returning the car we told the lady that no one told us that the car seat is set up she Rudely and unpolite told us that we supposed to know that we are the parents. Also she was very unprofessional and rude when we were making reservation over the phone .

ACO RENT A CAR IS A SCAM. YOU END UP IN A DARK PARKING LOT AND THAN YOU ENTER A KIOSK WITH A MONITOR . THEY TRY TO GET YOUR CREDIT CAR AND ALL YOUR INFORMATION. THEY try to steal all your money and information. I had to cancel my credit card . Be wory. The person that took all the information from you is in a different country.

I had THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Do not choose this company! First of all car was dirty, very bad condition, even the smell inside the car was really bad. The price increased from original quote, additional charges, they charged me $330 instead of $130 that was agreed online! Be warned you will end up paying a different amount than the original quoted price! I wish I read their reviews before booking!

Absolutely worst experience of my life prices did not match what I was told car seats where filthy the car itself was in horrible shape returned car four days before due to all the problems stated above and I have yet to hear from a supervisor about my refund being that they’re stealing from me

I was concerned how this company had a $30.00 per day rate, They are a scam. As soon as I got to the office and presented my proof of insurance card she said you will need a declarations page. So I called my insurance company got the declaration page. And then the representative said oh we dont accept Safeco insurance only State Farm and Progressive and this will cost $30.00 per day more or $420 total. Nowhere on their website does it mention they only accept certain insurance companies. Dont rent a car from this place unless you plan to be taken advantage of. We are young couple and could call Uber but an older couple would be stuck there and required to pay this insurance to leave with a car. Shame shame shame!

This place and customer service is horrible. We were supposed to pick up our car for 5pm in Fort Lauderdale only to reach here for us to find out that theres no vehicle for us to use and we have to wait 4hrs to get one or we can cancel if we choose too. Their attitude stinks like it wasnt even their problem and the problem was ours they even stop answering our calls please dont loose your mind and choose this car rental company

Terrible experience. We had a reservation made and upon arrival they wanted to charge us double what was agreed upon. A person attends you behind a screen and it is all a lie. A shame.

Just give 5 stars but this rentadora of vehicles deserving and more, help you all to everything, very friendly those who work there, new vehicles are you located outside the airport but they have a shuttle to take you to the door office, recommend them to pass a nice experience.

Best rental car in Florida, excellent price and a service with the best service of all, I would definitely rent with you!
