To be completely honest, I knew nothing about Alpha Romero 24 hours before I purchased one. But it didn’t matter to me because I know that if Todd Bennett is selling the brand, then that’s all the assurance I needed. Todd and his staff aren’t salespeople. They are like extended family members to their customers. My car search starts and stops with the Bennett’s. I value integrity above all else and the Bennett family oozes that.

I had a wonderful experience buying my alfa Romeo from Todd Alfa Romeo and in particular with Steve, he is a true professional, patient and helped me to find the perfect new car. Everyone was respectful and seemed to take pride in their work. The energy in the building was incredible. Ive never had an experience like this at any other dealer or with any other salesperson. Thats probably the reason I left with my brand new Stelvio . Thank you Steve you are the best...I highly recommend Todd Alfa Romeo & Maserati

I purchased a vehicle at Todd Maserati Danbury and its been nothing less than a nightmare from day one. When I purchased the car the original invoice had charges that I was not aware of. Todd one of the co owners did take care of that. But shockingly two days after I took the car home they called me and said they never took a payment from me even though I gave them my debit card. I proceeded to let them run the credit card.Then the nightmare really began when I had screeching brakes, whining steering, loose head rests, worn windshield wipers, carpets w no attachment piece etc. These MAJOR AND MINOR REPAIRS SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN OVERLOOKED AS IT IS A CPO CAR. Todd assured me they would RE CERTIFY IT, I brought it back they gave me a loaner car. Almost 6 weeks later I pick up my car. Then as I was waiting for my car the service manager named Brian Eckart had the audacity to walk by me and say arrogantly that I should’ve returned the loaner car cleaner because my car was cleaNED BY THEM AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE FINALLY DONE. When they provided me the loaner car they said they were going to have my car for a very long time and I explain to them clearly that I have a dog that needs to be dropped off to a place every day and they said no problem. (If he sold me a truly CPO car I wouldn’t have had to borrow the car for six weeks). There was a bit of dirt but nothing excessive. Shockingly when I came home that evening with my car the other co-owner Amie Bennett called me and said that they were scratches on the bumper, (not true) dog hair etc. She said “I should charge you but we can go half”. I explained to her that the complete negative experience that I’ve had with them was unbelievableand told her she felt the need to charge me half which was going to be $100 then please go ahead. She did not charge me.Not even two weeks later the whining in my power steering started again, one of my head rests was loose etc. it was such a loud noise I bought to Maserati of Westport which I can’t say enough good things about. On diagnosis they said it was clearly a power steering leak and it was metal in the fluid and Service manager said it was very clear that it was leaking and if this should’ve been picked up by a mechanic. What we know is that they topped off the fluid when you’re not supposed to because this is a closed system just to shut the noise up . I even saw the leak clearly just looking down under the hood of the car and I’m not even a mechanic. Basically this indicates that a qualified mechanic from Todd Maserati avoided the diagnosis to avoid the repair. It was in such poor damage because of the leak they replace the entire power steering system! The also found that the brake fluid which is breaking down was not changed when Todd Maserati changed my brakes. They also found that both my air filter and interior filter was completely clogged up and was the original filter from 2017.! These are things that are under the CPO umbrella and should’ve not been overlooked. It’s shocking that they replaced the brakes (Again because it was sold to me with worn down brakes) but did not change the fluid.I spoke to Maserati North America and explained what has transpired and said I will never return to the dealership again and hoping that they could reimburse Maserati of Westport.They said since it’s a franchised outfit that Todd Maserati would have to pay Westport Maserati for those things that they overlooked and Todd Maserati said NO of course. Todd Maserati clearly isn’t qualified to work on these cars or they didn’t want to and they want to take shortcuts and say the car is CPO when it’s not.The shocking conclusion ..because Maserati called Todd Maserati asking them to pay for the repair from another dealership, I just received a bill in the mail for a dirty loaner car for $300. It’s laughable but absolutely poor business from Todd Maserati as this indicates vengefulness on their part. Lucky I saved my emails and my texts from this dealership because this is not acceptable!

Had a very good experience buying a used Maserati Levante GTS. Sales team were great to deal with throughout the process and getting the car shipped to me. Car only had one key and they sent me a second key at no charge. Maserati keys are $1000 - $1400. Thanks guys! All the best.

My wife and I received a first class experience with Todd Maserati and Alfa Romeo. Amie was great to interact with prior to visiting the dealership, she introduced us to Ray who was incredibly professional and knowledgeable about the vehicle we purchased. The negotiation process was seamless thanks to Todd Bennett the owner and the delivery process was thorough and very transparent thanks to Paul. I have been ignoring these emails to leave a review after my recent service but after my latest issues its worth writing something...When I purchased my car from Danbury Alfa I was sold a maintenance package that was suppose to cover the maintenance during my lease. In the last year or so this dealer changed owners. When dropping off my car for service I was told they no longer accept the service plan that was sold to me by this dealer and I would need to file a claim with the company to be paid back. With that I let the service continue. Fast forward a few weeks and the company administering the maintenance plan only covered a very small fraction of the service cost!! I am sure other have had this issue as well. The dealer should have been up front with me about not getting a full refund from the claim. With that knowledge I would have turned around and done the service myself instead of being stuck with a bill for over $800.I also replied to an email received from the service manager but that seems to have gone on deaf ears as well. Sadly I love my car but the Alfa dealer network has caused me issues in every step of ownership and I will most likely be moving on when my lease is over...

I immediately went to the website and added my contact information. Yvette contacted me with in 5 minutes. We recently purchased a used vehicle from Todd Alfa Romeo & Maserati. Customer service was awesome. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Mark was great throughout the process and after. There was a small issue I hadn’t noted prior to the sale. However, even after purchasing the car, Mark took car of it without issue. I was given a sweet Guilia Alfa Romeo loner for the time, which was fun. They treat us like family. We are happy that we chose this place.

What a great family owned business! They use to own one in Wilton for over 35 years. I know that because I grew up with Todd and he never disappointed me or my family. We went to his old place that he does not own anymore to replace our Armada lease and asked for Todd but all the manager’s I think his name was Jason he would not tell me where Todd was thank God I had his cell phone number and I called him and found out he bought Todd Maserati AlfaRomeo of Danbury. So my husband and I went to see him and meet with Steve Papadakos at the front desk. He was very friendly and kind and after a while Amie came out and come to find out Steve sold me the Pathfinder I currently have after a test drive in a new 2020 Maserati Levante and the masks and then saw Todd And was driving home in my new 2020 Maserati Levante and it was affordable luxury. Thank you everyone at Todd Maserati Alfa Romeo of Danbury, CT!!! I will tell all my friends, co-workers and family!!!

BUYER BEWARE Dream Car turns into a NIGHTMARE I was thrilled, I found my dream car, was treated up front like a queen and within 48 hours had it purchased financed and delivered to my home in Mass. But, I was never given a bill of sale and was told my plates were being transferred. My insurance company and RMV said it takes 48 hours once the paperwork is dropped off. For the next 21 days, ( NOW 25 DAYS) I kept waiting for plates to be transferred and kept getting the same response Covid has the rmv backed up. Meanwhile two friends bought cars out of state and NO problems, they got plates within 48 hours. I called insurance company and made an appointment with the RMV and they said, NO that although dealers could not make an appt, they in fact created drop boxes to make it EVEN EASIER and even if my personal paperwork wasnt in hand, if it was filed, it is in the SYSTEM. Mine is not in the system, because the Dealer hired a third party and NO ONE knows where my paperwork or registration is. I have left messages every few days and except for the poor sales guy ( WHO GETS 5 Stars, ) not one person has returned a single call in 3 weeks. So my dream car sits in my garage, with no Bill of sale, no registration, undriveable.I have paid a month of unnecessary insurance, spent countless hours trying to contact people... kindly I May add, I just want a solution, and yet I cannot legally drive my dream car. I am so dishearten by their unprofessional follow up. Once they had the sale, I have been ignored... I dotn treat people that way, and its Not how I want to be treated... Think twice before you buy .

If there was a chance for my review to be zero star that’s what it would be., Stay far away from this dealer and go to Westport. The service department is terrible. They never have rental cars, talk about customers poorly right in their showroom. I called Chris to discuss the experience and his response was we were not talking about your husband it was another customer. My response was you should never be speaking negatively about a customer in front of anyone.. seriously?? They don’t wash the car and treat customers terribly. Buy a Lexus from Mt.Kisco NY or a Mercedes from Goldens Bridge NY and see how well you will be treated.

Larry in service ordered a part for my GT trunk and after 3 weeks I called and they dont know what the issue is, called back again and after 5 weeks they have no answers. I gave up after 2 months and still no decency for a simple call back on my trunks foam gasket. Worst service and communication ever at any dealer let alone Maserati. Everyone there needs training in customer service and communication. Bunch of hicks from the hills running that place.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership and was very impressed with the overall experience. I was purchasing from out of state, and from the very first phone call inquiring about the vehicle I could tell that the workers here truly cared about their customers and were willing to help me any way that they could. Everyone I came in contact with at the dealership was very service oriented and a pleasure to work with. I was also very impressed with the financing department and the work they were able to do for me to make the deal happen. The only way I would say they could improve is to make sure the vehicles are detailed before taking pictures for internet listings, and to do a little better of a job detailing the vehicle upon pickup. There was a very serious storm in the area the day before pickup so it is somewhat understandable. Bottom line, I would absolutely do business with these guys again and would say they are worth contacting if you are in the market for a vehicle. Thank you guys for the refreshing experience you provided me. Keep up the great work!

This place is a nightmare to any Maserati owner! Where do I begin?,Made an appointment a week in advance for an oil change get to the dealer & they ran out of oil.On another occasion I bring my car in for routine service & they take the car to a local car wash damaging every rim.(I have staggered 21” rims extremely wide so they do not fit the track at car washes.)These rims are stock Maserati rims you would think they know.I return for a service issue & before receiving the car Larry the advisor.Walks the car specifically looking for wheel damage prior to receiving nothing to be found.Upon pick up I notice another wheel had been damaged.When bringing it to Larry’s attention his response is “I don’t know why you come here you should go somewhere else”Leaving me under the impression I am being accused of making a false statement & only costing $150 to refinish a rim.I chose to take the $150 loss than being insulted.Larry should be mindful customers are crucial to any business.A week prior I came in & spent nearly $2,000.Which is probably a couple of weeks of his measly salary.If you think a person who purchases these type of cars has nothing better to do than make false claims of $150 you have to be a complete idiot.In addition i asked for the GM to reach out to me regarding the experiences.It has been several days & no response.

It’s been over 30 days that I bought my Maserati Ghibli from here and I still haven’t received my second key. My windshield had a dink on it and even though I brought my car in they still failed to fix it. Communication between my sales person has been very poor. He said he would get back to me and it’s been weeks without even a simple update. Poor service for a “luxury” car.

EDIT: the post below was my experience with this Maserati dealership before new management took over. I recently went there for an oil change and inspection. Chris the new service advisor at the dealership is a nice guy who helped me out a great deal with all aspects of my Maserati. I would highly recommend this place now that new management has taken over. A complete 180 from the prior owners. See my post below for that review!Original post:Absolutely terrible service department. Will never return your phone call. Not willing to work with you to come to a reasonable solution to keep the customer happy.I received my car without a cigarette lighter in the front. I also let them know my infotainment screen keeps shutting off and on randomly and would like a fix for this fault. I also wanted to know if my amp can be calibrated to different settings. Called multiple times only to be told they will call me back but weeks later, still no update or call back. Extremely unprofessional.Not only is their service advisor Larry incompetent and slow, their mechanic Paul is clueless as ever.The funny thing is they have this plaque on the service advisors desk that says they strive to deliver great customer service. It’s a joke and complete lie.I think it all has to do with them opening up shop not too long ago therefore everyone in there is inexperienced and careless.They have completely turned me off from Maserati and when time comes to give my lease back, I will go back to BMW. In the meantime, I will be going to Maserati of Westport from now on to see if they deliver better customer service.Stay away from this place at all costs.
