Mike and his team really did a great job on my old 2003 Subaru car. I went there the first time to do diagnostic on my a/c and got it fixed. Recently they repaired the broken serpent belt and do oil change. Very professional and friendly dealing with their customers. Mike is very informative and explaining about what parts they need to fix on my car. Now my car runs smoothly. A very satisfied customer here. I will definitely come back.

If youre a single woman of color, dont go any where near this place! So rude and dismissive. They came highly recommended to me but when I went in there the Mikes were discourteous and short with me. Mike told me he couldnt help me and waved his hand in the air telling me to go to Auto Advance. What was I thinking, when I walked in they had NewsMax blaring on the TV---should have been my first clue. Went to Napa and was in and out with the info I needed.

These guys are fantastic. Theyll walk you through any issues you have and make sure you know whats going on with your vehicle. They might cost more than your buddy who knows cars but they get it right. I did suspension work on my car with a knowledgeable friend but without real tools, it wasnt perfect. Mike fixed the issue and didnt charge me for my oversight/ incompetence, amazing! I dont write reviews but they deserve it, truly.

I took my wife into the AUDI dealer where they said I would need over $3000 in exhaust replacement work. When I took it to Midas the guys were able to get my car in the same day and replace a portion of the exhaust for only $320. Since 1992, the only person I have trusted with fixing my cars is Mike and his team of experts. Were not from Danbury, but had a flat tire right outside the Midas shop on a Saturday afternoon while traveling there to visit family and play hockey. After limping into the parking lot, we told the situation to Mike, the manager. He was incredibly kind and understanding, and helped us get a new tire on the car in no time, with no notice. He made sure the car was clean and well-situated afterward, and discussed the tire situation with me in a realistic and respectful manner. I kept his card to write a review for this shop, because I was so impressed... found the card on a whim today and was reminded of his willingness to help. Went in to get my tire repaired. They showed me the 3-4 inch nail that made its way into my tire. Because of the way it went in, they explained they may not be able to repair it, but would do their best. Everything went well and I was able to drive home shortly after. They even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was holding up fine. Really great experience.

Excellent service. I have had multiple flat tires over the years, I call these guys up and they take care of me right away. They don’t try to sell me a new tire by saying it’s unrepairable, they do their best to get you on the road and save you money. Don’t waste your money at the dealer, these guys will take care of you and your car as if it were their own.

Mike and Caldwell are great guys to work with. They are old school mechanics who have kept up with the times so you get the best of both worlds. I have a 2013 Nissan and a 1992 Ford. Whether its an oil change or replacing older parts, they are direct, tell you what you need and wont oversell you. Today was that day.The gentleman at the front desk was excellent. He was informative, kind and honest. After the initial analysis done on my vehicle, he explained the issue as well as my different options, and he did it in a clear, concise and communicative fashion. As for the auto servicing, well... my problem was fixed and I was so pleased with the costumer service there that I even gave the mechanic a fist bump on the way out! I Walked around downtown Danbury for a bit while I waited and got to see some neat places. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon at all.As for now, I have definitely found my new auto shop.

Great service. They were able to get me in quickly when I had to get my tires replaced fairly quickly. They kept in contact with me and answered very thoroughly any questions I had. Their prices are probably not the cheapest for tires but it was fair price for the service. They were flexible and communicative. I would go there again for future services.

The staff is welcoming, helpful and insightful and they take the time to explain your repair needs. One of the best things they did was address the overall health of the vehicle and ensured that all issues they saw were carefully addressed, above and beyond what my immediate needs were.

Bought a cat back exhaust, was too damn cold to install myself and had a random day off. I called up and they said bring it right over. Very friendly and told me there is great food just a block down. Took a 2 minute walk to eat. By the time I finished eating they were done! I now found my new go-to shop. Thank you so much. My day started off horrible due to my brakes making grinding sounds i thought i would have to cancel my ski trip but i was wrong i called to set up an appt but Mike said to bring it right down and hang out so they could do a proper check of the brakes i was on the road with in two hours and had a nice breakfast at the cafe across the street. I got my brakes repair here about a month ago. It was a great experience. The mechanics were friendly and gave me updates about my car. It was a fast turn around with my car being ready in one day. Would highly recommend!

I was having issues with my battery. Mike and guys at Midas helped me quickly and provided me with a new battery at a very reasonable cost.

Unfortunate practices regarding price guarantee. I had to call the corporate office in order to get them to honor it after the manager said he wouldnt do it. Another manager tried to focus on minutiae to convince me why they cant do it, employing subtle manipulative tactics to spin things more positively. In the end it was a very unfortunate and exhausting experience...all because of about a $60 difference and a desire to have them honor their advertisement.

Everytime I call, its a friendly voice on the other end of the phone. The politeness and light chit chat really makes a difference in my experience describing my cars problem and making appointments. Will definitely keep coming here for any further car issues!

This store epitomizes what a repair shop should be. Mike and Dawn and now Coldwell care about the customer experience. Very honest and down to earth people. I feel very comfortable with their advice, that I know is from a genuine care about the safety of your vehicle. I have even used them to do a check up on a vehicle I purchased, but wanted good advice on the condition of the vehicle before I made an offer, and has been serving me well so far. After years of bad experiences at local mechanics in the area I am ecstatic to say that I finally have a reliable, and trustworthy shop. I certainty fit the profile of someone who doesn’t know much about cars and have always went to local mechanics that “fixed” my cars problem usually costing me more than the original estimate, and 90% of the time I would get my car back with a new issue. I Wish I came to Midas of Danbury years ago it would have saved me a lot of trouble, headaches and possibly money. In addition to a smart, honest, and friendly staff the Midas bathroom is clean and easily accessible which is a rarity in the mechanic industry. This place is a hidden gem.

This is by far one of the BEST shops we have ever used. We traveled from WI. To CT and our sons car broke down. They got us into the shop that same day and all work was done on time at a reasonable rate. Flash forward a few months when our son drove out there again and had additional work done. Cracked a wheel on the stellar streets of Danbury last week. The guys at Midas saved me a fortune by sending me to a wheel repair shop instead of having to buy a new wheel. The got me a new tire in one day, mounted and balanced the tire and got me back on the road in no time. Terrific service and cordial friendly follow-up to see if everything worked out. Ill be going back for all my tire / wheel service needs.

Meant to do this weeks ago, because they deserve a positive review. Went in for front brake pads. I knew I needed the pads replaced even though another shop where I get my oil changed had told me everything was fine. Mike explained what was needed, and it was done in a timely manner. I have recommended this shop to a few people and hopefully they will do the same.

This service center was really good and efficient in fixing the transmission issue with my car. There were no false threats and list of problems/services recommended like a lot of other centers when you go in for routine service. Thats the best part about them.

We were out of town when our engine light came on. I called Midas from the road to schedule an emergency appointment. Mike and Caldwell were accommodating and got me right in to diagnose the problem and fix it. We have an older Honda and Midas has been able to fix many of the problems we have had from automatic doors that stick to transmission sensors gone bad. Their service is kind and professional. I have even been dropped off and picked up from work when my car was serviced. The pricing for repair is competitive and fair-- in my opinion the best around. We have been bringing our cars to Midas for at least eight years if not more. With a busy family, we need reliability and cars that work. Midas has helped us maintain our vehicles, keeping them in working order for our busy and on the go lifestyle. Thanks guys!

Well it took me long enough to get this review up! Sorry Mike and Caldwell! I cant express how great working with these two was! Both were caring and professional.So not only did I need a exhaust system (why I went here in the first place) but I had this weird steering issue (that I knew wasnt a good thing) it was something I explained to a few mechanics since I got new tires put on 6 months ago! all told me its nothing or that they didnt feel anything! Well not these guys! First they took for me and my car for a test drive, when we got back and they got the car up on the lift, they found it almost immediately, the front ball joint was bad (serious and dangerous)!!All fixed, and three hours later I was off in my great little car again, driving cautious but speedy, feeling confident and safe, which wasnt the case for months! Thank you SO much! and if I lived nearby, I would use them as my full service mechanics. Oh and my exhaust, sparkly and new!One more thing, since I was waiting for the car, they suggested walking down the block to the Mothership Cafe.. they were right on with this as well! I sat and had lunch and dessert (hard to choose EVERYTHING looked amazing) so all and all was a winning day! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! ONE MORE THING: the bathroom, clean and tidy!This place is THE BEST, and if I could give 10 stars, I would! peace!Well, you just lost a few stars for after the fact customer service, Mike, if it was me, I would have said, come down as soon as you can, well get you in, have a look and put a few new nuts on the lose plate and you will be good to go. I bought my Subaru Forrester in on December 1st for its 6 month oil change and check up . I had a slow leak in one of the front tires . Mike and the crew found the problem right away, they showed me the screw that they pulled out of the tire and fixed it right away .
