Expensive. Service... can be better.

This is a hard review. For a car wash, no complaints, 5 stars. Car comes out clean and never had issues with scratches, etc. Base price went from $4 to $5 but thats still good.However, for oil changes, thats another story, 1-2 stars tops.. Went a few months ago and got the stay-in-the-car service. It seemed like half the stuff they said they were doing did not get done. And service from owner approached rude.About a month after a previous visit I had an oil spill under my car. I crawled under to discover filter was loose. I hand tightened it and issue was resolved. Needless to say, I am not getting my oil changed there anymore!

Positive: They vacuum wellNegatives: No pre-wash, and very little soap upon entering wash, they rest was straight water.2 of the larger brushes, dont even come close to touching the car.Told the dryer guy, who offered to put the car thru again. But having to wait on line and their little use of soap, what was the point.

I had an oil change done here on 12/20/20!! Don’t ever use this place. I brought my car to Subaru because my car was leaking oil, and this is what they told me.Oil drain plug: wrong plug and washer used. So basically they put the wrong drain plug back in and Subaru you need to change the washer after every oil change they didn’t and left it. I’m lucky I have a good warning system I leaked out a full quart of oil. Instead of just an oil change I could’ve been replacing my engine!!

Guys are usually super friendly. They work hard and pay attention to detail. I get the monthly cleaning for my wife and I during the winter. Keeps my cars clean and the salt off the undercarriage.

The guys are really nice. We end up with Kevin alot. He is really nice and works quick. He remembers my husband when he goes for our oil changes which is nice to be remembered.

It is a shame how bad this place has become. I have been coming to this car wash and oil change location for over 10 years. It used to be professionally run, the quality was excellent, and the staff were all attentive and knowledgeable.Now, there is still one wonderful manager in the oil change department who is great, but the rest of the business is a waste of real estate. The workers have apparently been told to skip or skim parts of the interior cleaning process that “take too long,” a towel dry barely gets any towel actually touching the car, and in the oil change side, the staff are all but asleep.Last time I was in, a guy who is apparently now the manager, was actually asleep behind the register.I have never even gone to the car was up there street from this one. But, it’s time for a change, for sure. For $27 before tipping, I would expect far more than what I have now experienced during my last year of visits.Oh, and I spend 1/2 of my time in another state, where the car was and oil change place by me is AMAZING. So, the side by side comparison makes this place even more pitiful.I highly suggest investing your dollars elsewhere.

No soap on prewash and no soap at allThey claim u have to pay extra to get rich soap applied on your carIn short they use plain water to wash the car and this causes scratches on the carPlease change your tactics

Didn’t follow the right directions for a 2013 Infiniti tire rotation just did what they wanted.. Which they probably do for all the cars so be careful I had to get new tires a month later when I did my rotation the tires are fine they don’t wear like that in a month, town fair Told me. Lost my family as customers and extended family. Oh and by the way I did not complain about the car wash but it was a waste of money as well if you really want to get a review do not go here at all.

This is the worst car wash I’ve ever used they do not clean the inside properly they have little to no employees and when they rotated my tires they did not tighten the lug nuts correctly and the wheel almost feel off my car they had to send an employee out to meet me down the road to lift the car and re tighten the lug nuts I do not recommend using this business ever if you value your car

Car Wash cannot be beat. They have relatively new equipment (less than a year old) and you can stay in your car and get it washed and dried (including undercarriage to stop rust) for only $10. There is nothing as cheap in the surrounding areas and they do a pretty good job overall.

Ive been going to Mobile 1 Lube Express for 10 years and was very happy with the service. Manager Kevin was a very nice,courteous honest person. Unfortunately,his employees leave MUCH to be desired. One 3-4 occasions,one employee in particular made my visit completely miserable! Overcharging me,stating my vehicle was to big! A chevrolet silverado 1500, one of the most common vehicles on the road and refusing to wash my vehicle because this same person said it was, to dirty WHAT? Its a car wash,why would I bring it in if its not dirty? I mentioned this egregious and repeated bad treatment to the manager and mentioned if Im being treated so poorly,Im sure other customers must be as well.He stated hed look into it. I left him my phone number but Ive never heard back . I used this establishment 20-25 times a year and they have now lost a very good customer! As other reviewers have stated,Im now a Panache customer and using my mechanic to do oil service.

Great wash for $5

I paid 18 dollars and it doesnt look like any soap was put on the car just a bunch or water. They let me leave without putting the amor all on the tires I had to come back to remind them. They didnt even look like they wanted to work.

Very straight forward and honest. No hard sells on extras. Will definitely come back.

Used to be alot better. The people vacuuming the car left dog hair on seats and did not wipe down the frames inside the doors. Brake dust and dirt left on rims. Minimal pre-wash.

Very nice helpful staff, nice guys. I get my own oil change there a lot on both my cars. They do fleet cars and my personal car needs some special attention. To help me out and got my car up on the oil change rack with boards because my car is lowered so if you do have a car thats dropped they can handle it. They only have mobile 1 so I take my own oil. Little pricey if you do this. But theyll get the job done. Cant judge from the car wash because my car wont fit in it. Otherwise. Fast easy good service.

Decent prices for car wash and car cleaning didnt wipe the inside of my windshield that good and my front rims still had brake dust on them after the car wash

The technician removed a stripped oil plug, filled the car with oil, replaced the plug with a generic one. The car leaked oil overnight. I took my car to the dealership and now need a new oil pan. $425 repair.I went back this morning to Mobile Lube Express to speak to the manager and get a refund for the service yesterday since it should have been obvious that the generic plug was not going to hold. The technician should have come and told me the issue before filling my car with oil (7 quarts) and given me the option to have my car towed to a place that could retool the oil pan or replace the oil pan.Anyway, no refund was obtained. This is a classic case of get the customer in and out as fast as possible and not my problem behavior.Stay away. Take your car somewhere else.

This car wash is right up the street from me and across from my gym so it very convenient for me. I find there is a nice selection of services available and nice car accessories available. I check in every time I go there so I get a free car wash after 10 paid washes which is nice.

I had an incredible experience. The mechanics were very friendly and helpful. My car was very overdo for an oil change, and they were able to fix the issues quickly and effectively.

I dont know anything about the carwash, but the guys in the service bays are pretty good. Changed all drive train related fluids in my truck for a very competitive price. Service was fast, friendly and informative. Also provided samples of new and used fluids.

Very low quality wash

Went there for an oil change. I usually pay thirty-something dollars. At the end of the oil change they billed me for $117 for a simple oil change; no additional work. What absolute THIEVERY! I will never go back there again. Absolute thieves.

Bought the gold standard. Car was poorly cleaned on the inside. I asked follow up clean, which was just okay. My prior experiences were much better.

My wife it there for the 3rd time for the car wash. First two were ok... but nothing spectacular. This 3rd time looked like my car was not even cleaned inside. All the pet hair from our dog stayed the same... and she is low coat dog, it was nothing overwhelming.

I came in with a truck covered in mud and they did a decent job cleaning it up. There was still mud inside the wheel wells but it was really caked in there so I dont particularly blame them. It isnt an auto detail (at least with the normal packages) but its better than a standard drive through and relatively inexpensive.

Best car wash and vacuum ive ever had! These guys took their time and really got all of the dirt and grime off my car interior. Highly recommend them.

Waited for almost an hour for the oil change, then watched them take their time putting it in for the wash. When it came through the wash, so did the oil, all over the road! They were apologetic and a little on the offense as well. You havent been here for over a year. It must have been an old cap and there was already damage...... and more excuses. Not my problem I say. It wasnt leaking or pouring out when I drive in.Weak apologies, no courtesy assistance, no nothing. Now I remember why I havent been there in over a year. (Blown tranni soon after am oil change there)

I got my car here for oil change. Due to price issue i asked them to take my car out. Now my car is leaking oil. I went back and told them to finish the job and check but was refused service. The cashier and technician were both very rude.

Poor service

I had no days off this week...But got out early on Sunday. Finding a place open on a Sunday at 4 proved difficult. I went here only out of convenience.The cost for an oil change for my Ford Escape was $40. It normally costs no more than $25-30. The girl behind the counter was rude... so rude. She didnt want to accept my cash because she already counted her register . She asked if I could use a card but I said no. She gave me the biggest attitude while slamming her register drawer.She began by asking the make a model.. ok.. then my first name.. ok. Then my phone number..last name.. address... NOT ok. When I said I wasnt comfortable giving all this information... She said I would not get my car back! Being that it was already on the lift... I had to give her a fake name and fake number. She was so snobby and stuck up.. Moody and rude.I would NEVER go back. Stay away from this place like the plague. Customer service is horrendous. Go to Monroe.. make a left out of the place..quickly lol... And its 1/4 mile on your left. Costs $20 bucks and the staff are great!Note: Im writing this review in the parking lot out front. The place is now closed..And the employees are getting to their cars. That nasty miserable woman walked passed my car shaking her head at me lol. If you only knew I was putting you on blast on a review for Google.. ha!

Quick, easy and affordable with great customer service

Out of convenience my wife and I have been going to this place the last eleven years on and off with our 3 cars for oil changes. They have mainly done a poor job on car cleaning and have broken my wheel nuts on more than one occasion and all during these experiences I would still find it in my conscience to tip them cash. I finally experienced the worst customer service that I thought was the ultimate disrespect by the manager guy after I asked for a simple tire rotation last Saturday and was met with sarcastic grumbling about me asking for this service during a snow storm and also got the service door slammed in my face when I was about to ask for info on another menu item. I figured this guy was having a bad day but I think I would be doing a disservice to both myself and other customers in Danbury area if I didn’t at least share my story. I still found it in my conscience to leave a tip with another service guy there out of courtesy but I will not be returning here with my three cars as I felt this was the highest disrespect I’ve received at any business here in Danbury. I suspect there will always be people willing to deal with their poor service but I will also not refer anyone else to this place as a resident of Danbury. My thoughts on this and any general service they provide is simply say you’re not providing the particular service at the time and/or recommend I return at a more convenient time for the service, not blow off steam on a customer who has been supporting your business for such a long time. There are many other places providing the same service nearby and at that rate they will eventually lose all customers!

Don’t EVER go here the car wash people don’t just wash your car they go through your belongings and STEEL them. Shame on you guys hiring with such bad judgement GET BETTER STAFF! will never return.

The worst experience ever. I asked my husband to take my car to get the transmission fluid changed. One of the employees there a little troll decided to have an argument with him. He should have been in the garage cleaning or being more productive rather then arguing with a customer over a public parking spot... Beware of the trolls working in the garage. I wouldnt want anyone working on my car thats looking to argue with me over a parking spot. My husband took my car to Sears at the Danbury fair mall. Much nicer faster, efficient, and most importantly no arguing with the Sears garge / technicians. Oh and one other bit of information my husband has been a custom at this mobile for over 10 yrs hes never going back after this imbecile arguing with him over a public parking spot...

Had my car washed and had damaged rims when it came out. Spoke to kevin the manager was no help. He was implying i gamaged the rims. I am a car freak. Overall the pkace stinks for customers service. P.s they had a car in oil change on a ford and ended up at dealer with no oil in it. So what does that tell you about the place. Two thumbs down. Dont go there.

Great service for over 2 years, but billing disputes escalate to Police involvement very quickly.3 weeks ago I got an oil change and wash. I thought I paid, because I gave them my card and they gave it back, but apparently it didnt go through, or I needed to sign something, or I or they just missed a step. I got my keys back, so I drove off.To their credit, they did try to get in touch with me, but my phone dumps unknown numbers to voice mail automatically, and since I wasnt anticipating any urgent billing issues, I didnt bother checking my box regularly. This was my fault, I accept that, and also why Im giving 2 stars for what I would consider the most hostile and threatening customer service experience I have ever had, bar none.Today, a police officer knocked on my door and told me that he would issue a warrant for my arrest if the dispute was not resolved today (he was very polite). Shocked, I drove to the mobile1 to pay the bill.While paying the bill, I was asking questions to try to figure out how this happened. I have never had any dealings with the police for anything, so I was a bit in shock. A gentleman there was very argumentative, and eventually I just had to end the discussion and say, Sir, Im just here to pay this. I dont want to be accusatory. I still have no idea how this happened in first place. My questions were answered in accusatory questions, so it got me nowhere.I thought the involvement of the the police was completely unnecessary, especially considering I was a repeat customer for two years(and so was my wife) with a visit every month or so for a wash and every 6 months for an oil change. So, in short time I would be returning for more service, and at worst the bill could be settled then.I understand that I carry much of the responsibility for this oversight, and I accept that, but I also feel that threatening me with arrest over a $70 bill from 3 weeks ago was a bit of an over reaction, and they seemed completely uninterested in keeping me as a customer afterwards. Like, give us our money, now f-off.I dont think Ill be going back, even though they were completely within their rights to do what they did, and I believe they felt they were justified, but because this whole incident was handled very poorly, and was very insulting. I wasnt trying to rip them off, this was just a misunderstanding. Had I known I owed them money and that they had tried to get in touch with me, I would have paid. Though it was my fault, the first I heard of it, was from a police officer.Maybe they should consider revising their check out process to avoid things like this in the future? Like if a customer gets a wash and oil change combo, dont return the keys until the process is verified complete? After the wash, the car was waiting for me outside, running, and a guy waved me over. If I get my keys, usually I assume the transaction is done. Lesson learned.
