Don’t use this service. I called them to get a ride to the airport shuttle at La Quinta Inn. They provided a 20-minute ETA. The driver arrived five minutes early, waited one minute for me and then left and would not return to get me or pick up my phone calls. I nearly missed my shuttle and my flight.

High price and long wait time. There should be a law about how much cab company can charge and why they charge.

This morning I called A1 for a ride to work and set up a ride to work...back story; I live in a small apartment complex and apparently someone from my building called for a taxi yesterday and whoever called for them never came out...back to MY story...I ended up not needing the taxi so I called back to let them know I was canceling and the guy told me he didn’t plan on coming anyway that he knew I wasn’t being truthful....I mean what the heck?! I had no idea what he was talking about...very unprofessional because had I not called to cancel I would’ve sat there waiting on a taxi who never planned on coming and could’ve very well lost my job because this taxi service thought I wasn’t being truthful about needing a taxi...I will never give them my business again! 🤬😡🤬😒

Im a long haul trucker and was having a medical emergency. When I called for a ride they asked where I was going and told me it wasnt worth it and hung up on me! Very rude and unprofessional. If I could give negative 5 stars I would.

I called for a ride home from work, they told me it might be a half hr wait. It was fine with me b.c this was the highest rated cab service in my area and I really didnt want to walk. But when I called again over 40 min later, they forwarded my call....twice...maybe it was just the fact that it was raining outside, but that seems extremely rude and unprofessional to me, and I feel that my sourness towards them is justified.**And as you can see, I was very right to critique their professionalism b.c they respond to ruining their name with paying customers with sarcasm and insincerity. But it is nice to see that they are capable of responding to something, if not calls then Google posts. (Sourness evolving to indifference- people like this tend to get whats coming)

These is the nicest and friendliest people!, They will give 110% to serve you.So quit lying about them just cause you call late for work or cause whatever your own problems are!! Ask always what your taxi fare will be before you get in the taxi and quit whining!!

If I could write this review without a star. I would!!! First off I’ve called this company several different times. No answer. One time someone answered and said they was closed. Then they tell me my ride will be here to pick me up in 20-25 minutes. One hour and half later still no ride. No answer. Finally someone answers and says they never talked to me before. Well after reading a lot of these reviews I see that’s your answer for most of them. You are not a great taxi service, and as far as customer service goes you completely suck........Will NEVER use nor recommend this company to anyone!!!!!!!!

My first time using a taxi and I was extremely impressed. They arrived within 10 minutes of my call, the driver was very nice and personable. His van was very clean and his driving was impeccable, I felt very comfortable, the van smelled very good too .I highly recommend calling them first for any transportation needs . I was even given a discount! Please tip your driver generously to let him know that he gave you a safe ride to your destination.

Asked for quote before I needed cab. Called cab company and verified rate and asked for cab. Dispatcher said it would be 15 to 20 minutes. After 30 minutes received call and asked where I was and where I was going. I was told that the rate would be overdoubled from price quoted and would have to pay cash upfront before they would take the 12 miles to my destination..I am going to report to better business administration.

Called and whoever answered was nice. They told me itll be around 15 minutes... I waited 15, 20, 30, 40 minutes. I wasnt bothered but I decided to call to cancel the taxi since it was to late, no answer. I call again, no answer. I had to get another ride cause it was extremely late.

I requested a ride and the operator said 15 minutes and he would be here. And I waited for 40-50 minutes and then found a ride closer to me and I called to cancel the ride. And the operator said “I know you would call and cancel when we are 10 miles out”. He said he would be here a long time ago and he gave me an attitude smh. Won’t try again

Update: After researching my alternatives: I discovered A-1 Taxi has worked hard to build a positive reputation within the area community, so I took a chance in spite of my earlier criticism. Again my earlier quibble was with a review response, not my own experience as I havent used a cab service (any service) in years. So I called A-1 and from the beginning until I stepped out at my destination I received a Five-Star experience (Ill be changing my rating to match). The operator was clear with a familiarity of the city layout. He disclosed minimal wait-times in advance during peak traffic hours, yet arrived slightly ahead of schedule. The driver was friendly and courteous, driving without hard turns or sudden stops, the rates were fair and reasonable as well. The interior cab condition was air conditioned, clean and comfortable. I also discovered the owner from my conversations to be a dedicated family man, committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. If I need another Taxi theres no doubt Ill be calling them again.

Awful service I called about a week ago and they said Ill be right there, well they never showed. I called last night no answer, and again a couple of months ago I called them they told me $6-8 to take me to work well it ended up being $15 so I dont recommend this taxi service..

Good service, but just a heads up...the meter already read $9.00 when they picked me up in Tunnel Hill to go to Chattanooga. You pay from where THEY start NOT where YOU start. $50.60 to go 21 miles.

This place is a joke. I had a 4am reservation to be picked up at my hotal and the driver never showed up. To top it off i had to call back at 11pm the night before to comfirm my reservation. Have called 11 times and no answer and no ride.
