Really nice guy who fixed my broken screen hinge very quickly! I had taken it to the Apple store and they were trying to charge me for a whole new screen replacement because they said they couldnt access the loose screw. I really appreciated his work as it saved me the price of that screen replacement and/or a whole new laptop.My only issue was that he quoted me a price before I handed off my laptop, but asked a higher amount when I picked it up. In the end we negotiated back to the original price but it still left a sour taste in my mouth. Additionally, the screen hinge started working itself loose again, about two weeks later. Not sure if that was an issue with the repair or not, but I bought myself a basic kit and redid it myself- no problems with it since.

Chris at WCL is more reliable than a 2011 AMD graphics card.I had the misfortune of owning a 2011 Macbook Pro 17 inch laptop; a model plagued with GPU issues from its inception. These issues were so bad that Apple had a repair program for its customers affected by the failure of the graphics card. My computer had no issues until after the program expired and I started seeing graphics issues in the weeks leading up to my consultation with Chris at Well Connected Life. Once it became obvious that I could not figure out the fix for this issue and that it went beyond my basic troubleshooting Mac skills, I looked up a local Mac repair shop with the hope of finding someone and the fear of getting overcharged. Once I connected with Chris and he performed a free assessment of the issue, he informed me of the necessary fixes and their costs to get my machine running again. Chris not only researched the various options he could offer me in the repair, but he also provided me with honest, detailed information so that I could make an informed decision as a consumer. Turns out that the AMD graphics card in the Macbook was repairable but the GPU vendors could not guarantee that this issue would not return. In the end, the Chris was way more reliable than that graphics card. Though I chose against having it replaced because of the cost implications and no guarantee that the issue would not return, I was extremely grateful that Chris was transparent and honest and did enough research to provide me with options. Now I have a Powerbook G3 (whose keyboard I love to type on) that needs to be risen from the dead. I am most certain that Chris will once again go above and beyond to provide me with the information I need as a consumer. Thanks Chris for providing great service!

Chris is a wizard when it comes to Mac repairs. I thought my MacBook Air was on its last leg. He diagnosed the issues it was having, did the repairs and got it back into perfect condition. All for a very reasonable price. Would give him more than five stars if I could.12-5-2020Finally replaced my 2013 MacBook with a 2020 MacBook. Chris transferred the data, got the new one ready for me to use without worrying whether all had been done correctly. He also restored the 2013 MacBook to factory settings so it can be handed down to a family member. Having Chris overseeing the maintenance of my laptops gives me immeasurable peace of mind. I wouldn’t think of entrusting their care to anyone else.

Chris is very knowledgeable, even though I think I know it all he always surprises me in regards to his wealth of knowledge about computer and hes very patient and always has a smile on his face which Is very refreshing considering as a nurse I too always make my patients first ... recently I had an issue with my computer where I had to call Microsoft about 10 times and even though they ran virus scan, remotely accessed my computer, I had to wipe my system clean twice, the problem was still there and to this day they continue to call my house about my issue. Chris on the first day that I spoke to him he was able to solve pretty much every issue that I had with my computer and its working way way way better... I would give him 10 starz If I could but ur system only allows for 5.... thank you Chris

I had what I thought was a severe Macbook Pro issue so I came across Chris via Google and I am so glad I contacted him. Chris took real good care of me. He was professional, friendly, polite, and had excellent communication. He was very knowledgable and he also gave me great useful tips on how to prolong the life of my Macbook.Thankfully it turns out the issue wasnt as severe as I anticipated and Chris went the extra mile to ensure my Macbook was back to how it was supposed to be.
