Highly recommend!! I called Half Price Geeks from a Google search, never having had an issue I couldnt resolve on my MAC. Oliver Broadus returned my call within the hour and over the telephone was able to resolve my issue in a matter of minutes!! Kudos to Oliver Broadus and Half Price Geeks!!

We used them earlier this year and they were great. I have been trying to get a hold of them for over a week now and no one is answering or replying to my calls and emails! I think they may have gone out of business ;-(

**Updated 11/17/16 to respond to owner reps insinuation that I am not a real customer because he cant find proof. How ironic that a Tech company does not have proper record keeping skills yet wants your business. I am posting a copy of my invoice to Yelp as irrefutable proof that I am a real past customer.*** I used these guys back in 2010, I wanted to avoid the expense of the BestBuy squad. They sent out an older guy who seemed like a contract for work IT guy & not an actual employee. He told me my laptop needed a new hard drive, I paid for it and he installed it only to have the same problem start happening the very next day. I also found several new release movies on my memory that he must have moved over by accident. They had a warranty, the owner of Half price Geeks, Oliver was nice but I had to drive to Dallas to give him my laptop and he kept it for almost 2 months trying to resolve the issue. I had to drive back to Dallas to pick it up & he displayed my laptop in the reception area of his condo building. It was working for a video he played for me but when getting it home after about an hour of use the problem happened again, the computer died and would not restart. I took it up to BB & they found out that my motherboard was fried in a matter of 15 minutes which was a common issue on this particular HP laptop it turns out. GS at BB told me to just buy a new laptop but instead I bought a new motherboard online and then had a local shop install it for me. This is how they treat a paying customer and how they respond to issues when brought up. They try to slander the customer by insinuating they are lying and challenging them to produce their documentation. I would not recommend anyone take the risk to let them touch your computers.

The initial communication to schedule an appointment was terrible. They cancelled on me twice, leaving me sitting at home waiting for them to show up. They always promised to call and give me an update, but they were all broken promises. Once the technician finally showed up at my place I was pleasantly suprised. He knew exactly what he was doing and did not waste any time fixing my computer issues. If I was rating the technician, he would get a score of Excellent.

I want to bring in my laptop for repairs, but they wont answer the telephone. They expect me to leave a voicemail and WAIT to be called back. Voicemails are so yesteryear. I need immediate assistance.
