The gentleman that I worked with was extremely nice and thorough. Very knowledgeable and handy. I will use them again for all my odds and ends as well as with my mothers odds and ends. I would hope to get the same person. I was concerned that I had to pay by the hour and thought maybe they would dilly dally, but nope he was very diligent. I was checking on progress, as in having my daughter look down hall to see where he was, and I was like he spent all the time on the doors and nothing else (had to cut doors for three rooms). When my husband came home he was like oh no he did basically my entire list or at least all he could do in the allotted time. I was very pleased with his work and efficiency.

Despite starting off with a miscommunication, the office staff was extremely patient, understanding, and very promptly adjusted to correct the situation. She then dispatched the technician to our residence for an urgently needed repair as quickly as possible. All on a Saturday. The job was completed in the time they estimated. They charged pretty much what they estimated the cost would be with no fine print surprises. The technician himself was very understanding of the situation. Both he and customer service office staff were extremely professional. The customer service person also called me the next business day to follow up to make sure the work was completed and to our satisfaction. I’m not quite sure of all the services Mr Handyman provides (we required a big door repair) but I can only imagine they are the best at what they do.

I had five tasks to do which included assembly and placement for both inside and outside locations. Ashton did a superior job, thought out the job after talking with me first and then planned accordingly. Worked deliberately and efficiently and did great work, I’ll ask for Ashton specifically too as I talked to him about another project I have. Thank you!

After several attempts using other companies and then finding Mr.Handyman, I will always go to Mr.Handyman. They are very professional and treat our customers how we would. They are certified and reliable. They really work with us and our customers to make our customers happy and get all documentations and proof we need to resolve damages. They do a great job and really accede our expectations. They are quick to respond and are great at communicating. We have also referred them to our customers when they have work to do on their homes or have questions about repairs. When there were tornado damages, we referred them to our customers and our own staff. Mr.Handymans prices are also reasonable. They have repaired sprinkler lines, dry wall(ceiling and wall damages), and ceiling fan damages for us over the years. They hold high standards for their techs and we have never had a bad experience with them. I cannot begin to say enough good things about Mr Handyman - in particular their handyman extraordinaire Richard. We have had Richard do work in our homes on multiple occasions during the last 5 years. His superior knowledge, talent, skills and expertise in so many areas is amazing! Not only were they on time, they were early. The estimated amount of time was spot on, so I knew how much it was going to be in advance. They offer to purchase supplies also, which could be a serious convenience if you dont know exactly what you need. While initially off to a shaky footing-- we had some sort of mixup on the appointment for an estimate - their customer service was outstanding and someone did come out and gave an estimate. After meeting the estimator, which was professional and knowledgeable, I was convinced this company had their act together in comparison to about 2 other estimates I had received. So, I hired Mr. Handyman of Dallas to convert my aging mothers tub/shower to a walkin shower with grab bars, etc. Richard did an outstanding job - excellent quality, and very kind. We are so happy with the outcome. Seriously cant believe how good it looks for the price. Amazing! He ended up also doing some drywall work because my mom had some serious cracks and breaks in drywall (were talking like 8 feet long and inch wide). I still stare in awe at how great the four fixes look now. He also did some smaller jobs with just as much prowess.In a nutshell, I am sold. I will not hesitate to call them for anything I cant fix or do. While the hourly rate may at first seem a little high, remember that you strictly pay time and materials so it is absolutely worth it for this professional, polite, timely, bonded/insured and excellent service! The gentleman came over and painted the walls but did not texture like the rest of the room. It was noticeably different from the rest of the wall, also he spilled paint on our rug.Called and spoke with Ms Dese Williams with customer service said she was on it and take care of it. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and listened to her instead of getting our money back.When the guy showed back up to the house we took one look and left. Have yet to hear back from them and our project is still unfinished.I’m not sure if Dese Williams understands the company motto “On Time. Done Right” Because they’re late and it’s done wrong.We are left now with looking on Angie’s List to fix their error, please avoid this company at all cost~God Bless

The handy technician from Mr. Handyman of Dallas who comes to help us with assorted repairs is on time, has extensive experience, and is professional and pleasant. He and some of the other techs have done remodeling and window installation, replacing wallboard and installing insulation and other jobs. They do not just do repairs or painting, so if something goes wrong in your home while they are working for you, they can just add that little repair/job on to the current one. Try these good people and you will be happy with the work they do!They came to repair a bathroom ceiling damaged by a pipe that burst in February 2021 and now it is just as if the ceiling had not fallen on the floor! THANKS so much!

I needed a UV light panel assembled. It is a medical device and very expensive. Mr. Handlyman did an excellent job. I will need him going forward for maintenance over the years.

Great experience. I had trouble installing a barn door. Called Mr Handyman. Really nice guy showed up & completed the job in no time at all. It’s done! I learned a better way to get the second barn door completed and that I can get the same guy back again, if I need to. I have lots of small projects that would be great for Mr Handyman.

The technician was friendly, professional and could explain the problem and what I could do to prevent this from happening again in easy to understand language. Then he proceeded to make the repairs. He gave me options of extra things I could purchase to improve my dryer, but in no way high pressure. Just a great experience from start to finish.

Spoke with Dese Williams in regards of getting the walls in my apartment fixed. My big concern was price which I made clear but she REFUSED to give me prices. She instead danced around the question in multiple emails telling me what they charge for. I understand you charge hourly and for supplies and a service charge....BUT how much???? How much per hour for labor? How much for the service charge daily?? I asked multiple times with no direct answer. She instead emailed me back saying to call if want to know the answer. Excuse me?... or I’ll go else where. I have emails if y’all want to see them. Her communication skills are awful and rude. Please re-train her.

Most of the work was hanging artwork and other items on the walls. It was very well done.

One star given for showing up in the company truck and having tools. Hired Mr. Handyman of Park Cities to assemble and install flat-packed wardrobe cabinets in a master closet. Design views of the finished installation and a floor plan were provided. All of this was communicated up front. The quote for a day’s work by two handymen was $1800. When they were done for the day I saw they had damaged the components of one of the cabinets to the point that the entire cabinet would need to be replaced. They did not use the specified amount of the provided hardware (nails, etc.) on any of the cabinets, so the appearance was *extremely shoddy and the product was unstable. I have to replace the damaged items, take everything down, and will definitely build and install it by myself this time. I’ve done it before, so I know what ‘good’ looks like. I attempted to save myself some valuable time by paying Mr. Handyman, but that was an expensive mistake.

Great price, on time, professional, even gave me the option of if I didnt like my newly installed fan, they would take it back off for me within a year for free. Fortunately, I loved the fan, and I am glad they were the company that I called!

Mr. Handyman is great for any project that you cannot complete yourself! I found them to be professional, respectful and tidy. Their services can seem pricey at first, but the value of a quality job finished by someone licensed and backed by a great customer service team is worth it!

I like that Mr. Handyman is a professional handyman servicing company with a ‘real’ warranty and experienced handymen (as in plural). Service is easy as they have multiple technicians, so from time you call until time they show up, it’s typically 24-48 hours. They will tailor to your specific needs and requests while ensuring quality workmanship. As a small business owner, I have found them to be an invaluable partner in helping me meet my business objectives. I highly recommend this amazing team of people! Oh, and they show when they say they are going to show!!

Bottom Line: Poor work ethic, poor service, dishonest pricing. We were billed over $1,800 for materials for a simple job that required very little materials. When asking management to provide a listing of what we were billed for, they would not provide a breakdown. They said the materials pricing costs were determined by algorithm and they had no way to know what we were charged for each of the materials used. They could only provide a total materials cost. Im calling BS on this one. Stay away.Very very dishonest people. Stay away.

Great service at a reasonable price. Your technician arrived at the promised time, and I did not have to wait through a two or three hour window. I appreciated the courtesy of the technician. I had to have a ceiling refinished, and my home furnishings were well protected during the job. The job was efficiently done and looked great.

Mike was right on time, put the window unit AC in without a hitch and did a great job weather sealing it in. Had no problems and the cost was very reasonable - done in just an hour.

Lock your doors during outside service, especially if youre a lady home alone. A contractor who has no business inside your house should never unexpectedly open your door to enter or look for you while called to do an exclusively outside job. Just my opinion.Moreover, most non-skilled tradesmen will quote jobs for free. If you dont need an electrician, licensed HVAC person, or plumber...save the unnecessary charge and call somebody else. Of course, if you need a skilled tradesman, call a skilled tradesman.

It was really great to be able to hand Fred the list of repairs that had plagued us for months and have them fixed so quickly. I wish I would have called earlier. Mr. Handyman is a wonderful service - Fred had the tools and experience and did the fix-it jobs 100 times better than we ever could have done.

I called in the morning, and a repairman was to my house that afternoon - and he was EARLY!! He was able to fix everything I asked for within an hours time and did a great job. He was also very courteous and kind!

I selected this company because they appeared established and must do good work, I was wrong. When they came out to do the estimate they proposed two different approaches to the project. I chose the more expensive one because they said it was the right way to do it.However, when they came out, they only did the work outlined in the lower estimate but still charged me nearly as much as the high estimate. When I questioned the invoice, they basically said it was my fault for approving the higher estimate. When I pointed out problems with their work, they would not come back to fix it because they “reused my hardwood floor material.”Shady practices and work was not up to par.

If I can give a 0 STAR I would. Totally a rip off! They quoted 108 for the 1 hour. When the guy came he just walked back and forth. I had cleaned the floor and had put in the padding so for him to do all the walking and to charge 186 for maybe 45 mins it’s crazy!!! So unprofessional and dishonest!

I have used Mr. Handyman in Dallas twice now and each time its been a great experience. The second time was to clean up a mess another handyman service created. I should have just stuck with who I knew did a great job the first time. What I like most about Mr. Handyman is that they send the same person each time and that he always knows what he is doing. When the Mr. Handyman repairman saw the mess (and I do mean mess) that the other service created, he just shook his head and went about fixing the problems. It took him a couple of hours, whereas the other company took practically all day. I just cant say enough about my experience using them. Highly recommended.

James was great! Was able to care of my to-do list and scheduling was easy.

It was very fast, he was able to fix the problem - getting this board/overhang that fell off the house nailed/screwed back in. Also, I needed bulbs in a lighting fixture over the stairs replaced and he was nice enough to get the bulbs out first so I could go buy some replacements as I didnt even know what bulbs I needed. He was very friendly and efficient.

He was very knowledgeable on his work, and was able to improvise when needed. Also having someone come out so quickly was extremely helpful.
