They scheduled an appointment for me and sent it to my calendar. Love the atmosphere, I could hang out here with my friends. Literally. Members can reserve the lounge. Also ask about their project for veterans.

The front desk is always professional and courteous, and do a great job of making me feel welcome and comfortable. He does an incredible job every time I come in and gives me a consistent look that I don’t have to worry about changing. I love that he really listens to what I’m looking to do with my hair or beard, and then follows through and blowing my mind every time. He is professional, understanding, polite, and most of all really easy to have a conversation with (without it feeling like small talk). I feel valued in that we have meaningful conversations each month and that he remembers what is going on in my personal life. I’m proud to say that I’ve been able to build a relationship with him since he started providing my services each month. I much better experience than your typical barbershop. Cocktails and beers available, they also have a nice stock of some luxury shave items, Marcos toothpaste, creed colognes etc. I started coming here because my barbershop stopped shining shoes, this place does that and everything else you need. They do nails and stuff too. Basically a one stop shop.

I received a relaxing hot-towel shave and beard trim. Krystal was wonderful and recommended some new lines for my beard compared to how I was trimming it myself. I am quite pleased with the results and plan to keep the style.

By far this was the best personal grooming experience that Ive ever had. From the moment I walked thru the door I was met with professionalism and courtesy. Krystal M. HOOKED me all the way up. My beard has never looked this good and my head shave was A1. Will definitely be going back and I highly recommend this place to any man looking to be treated.

Since COVID it is difficult to find a barber to do a beard trim. I had graduate photos at 11 am, and Ellie was able to get me in that morning. She had me cleaned up for my pics, professional polite, and did an excellent job on my beard.

Amazing services, 2 complimentary drinks/ beer along with a free shoe shine. I simply loved the experience. You do have to schedule an appointment in advance since they are busy. People here speak politely. There is a special vault as well for premium members to keep their personal drinks as well, at the same time you can watch Netflix and Hulu on TV. All with this there is also an option of haircut in a private room with a personal stylist. I am not sure of the charges at time of writing this review. Will update it soon.

The decor is elegant with a nice little bar. The service was superb, you can tell theyre really trying to make you feel comfortable and at ease. Its like a males version of the nail and hair shop. My only concern and dislike is the knowledge of the barbers to try and cater to the styles and fabs of todays gentleman. I have waves and my hair and the barber was cut in multiple directions, I preferred to have them go with my eabe pattern it helps to make my hair lay down as well as pop. Then she didnt know how or preferred not to edge me up so I had to go to another barber plus the wait for him to finish his standing client. For the price I feel its not scene I will not cont. past my first months membership.

I highly recommend Angelaaaa from Californiaaaa. It was my first time in and She did a great job! Very friendly, I felt like Ive known her all my life. My haircut was exactly as I asked and because of her, Ill be back!

Had a 10:30 appointment. It was 10:50 and they still had not been ready to cut my hair.Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate to the consumers time schedule.

For the record, this is the first time I have made the effort to write a google review and only the second or third time I have ever written a review at all. One of those times was for Dani before the Preston Hollow location closed and here I am again, feeling to need to express just how amazing the service she provides is. The entire Gents Place experience is top notch, but Dani is what makes it the only place I will get my haircut. Her unique combination of talent and personality makes the entire experience a worthwhile one every time I visit. Update:Upgrade was fixed and refunded. The excuse was that the person was new at the register and she didn’t know how to work it so he was charged the wrong thing. Doubtful this is how it happened but either way it was fixed.My husband has a year membership and was supposed to be paid in full, but of course they always find some way to charge you more when you get there, but that’s here nor there.He usually has no problem until today when the barber stated she “accidentally gave him a 5 course instead of the 3” so instead of eating her own mistake she charged him for the upgrade. And my husband being as nice as he is he didn’t want her to get in trouble so he just let it happen.We will NOT be renewing his membership at all!

I joined The Gents Place about a year and a half ago and have had a great experience. Their barbers and hairdressers are generally top notch and Ive seldom had a bad haircut even when I cant get in with one of my usuals. I appreciate that they keep notes in the system about my preferred haircut and can reference back to the way my hair was cut last time. The one time I had a small issue, they worked with me to develop a solution that was satisfactory. Overall a great value for the cost and I would happily refer a friend.

Friendly staff, amazing haircuts, and the drinks are a nice perk. Getting my haircut has now become like my own personal spa day that I look forward to, especially during the stressful months at work. Its a little pricey if you pay one at a time, but if you can afford to buy an entire year upfront, the cost per haircut isnt too bad at all

If you’re a male in Dallas who wants to have a haircut that’s will turn heads and receive compliments then you need to come here!!!I wanted to check this place out because I had received a “be a member for a day” pass.And it was totally worth it. The barber that cut my hair was Pedro, he was so professional and gave me exactly what I asked for. I usually get a mid fade, or a drop fade and the way he cut my hair completely exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend you go to him for your haircut. He not only cut my hair but also shampooed and conditioned it and styled it. This place is totally worth the membership and Pedro is definitely the guy you need to get your cut and beard work done by! 5 stars for sure in my book!!

While this place may seem expensive, you get what you pay for (and if you do the math, the prices are actually not too terrible given what you get). The haircuts are not your bargain variety types, done by experienced staff. This was by far one of the best cuts Ive ever gotten, and thats with the barber meeting me for the first time (no prior consultation). Eloisa did a superb job, and was a pleasure to converse with while she was working.As for the venue, you walk in, check in, get a drink, and youre in fairly fast. All of the staff are extremely friendly and professional, making for an overall fantastic experience.

After making a last minute appointment and even arriving late, the staff was very accommodating to me and served a drink while I waited. The cut itself was a pleasant experience relaxing environment and friendly banter. 10/10 will visit again.

Made an appointment to come in as a new customer for the first time. Received a phone call to confirm my reservation. Then received 2 subsequent text messages asking me to confirm my reservation. I arrive at my scheduled appointment time and I’m told it’s going to be a 30 minute wait. This totally defeats the whole purpose of an appointment. I received 3 contacts to confirm my appointment. As a place marketing itself as a high end upscale Men’s barbershop I would imagine you could at least pick up the phone or send a text letting me know you are running behind. I have better things to do with my time than sit in your lobby waiting which is the exact purpose of making an appointment. Completely dissatisfied and underwhelmed by the whole experience. Needless to say I did not stay and don’t plan on returning.

This place is excellent. Was nice to grab a free beer and relax. Pedro did a *phenomenal* job with my skin fade / drop fade and beard shaping. I also got some great personalized advice and tips from Pedro about my hair upkeep, which will be useful for the future.

Been a member for almost two years. Worth every penny!

My experience here was nothing short of fantastic! My barber did an excellent job and had a few great styling tips. Truly exceptional service. I tried their membership using a free trial promotion, and although I feel the service is a bit expensive, if all of the barbers are as good as the one that cut my hair then it is worth the price. Unfortunately, I live in waxahachie, and although I work downtown, I can’t justify taking time off work every time I need a haircut. I wish they had a location closer to me, if they did I would be more likely to sign up

I sure love me some Gents Place. I typically go to the Preston Hollow location, but my miraculous stylist, Renawesome, just moved to the Uptown location. When I walked it, it was just like every other location Ive visited: warm, inviting, friendly, and so professional. Daniella greeted me BY NAME - who does that anymore?! - provided me with my preferred libation, and gave me a tour, since it was my first time in Uptown. Once Renata finished with her prior appointment, she greeted me by name (honestly, I really love that), and set about returning me to my groomed self. The Gents Place is that spot you want to visit every week, take all your friends...but keep secret all at the same time. Congrats on the new location!

Quality haircut. Trialed the 3-course member-for-a-day. It included 2 drinks (liquor options appear to be Walker Black or Red label, Bailey’s, Maker’s, Tito’s, and Crown Royal with a few different mixer options. There’s also two different beers. It also included a haircut - trimmer and scissor cut. No straight razor neck shave although I optioned for grooming specialist vs barber (who is certified to use straight razor for cuts - unclear if that costs the extra surcharge for a master barber). Additionally, hair shampoo with hot face towel (different person than hair stylist, no conditioner, no scalp massage) included. Finished with hair styling and blow-dry. I wore tennis shoes - otherwise shoe polish would be included.

Best hands down. There is no substitute for what you get here!!! Kevin is a beast.

The experience is worth it! The pay is a little high for regular visits. I do not get a haircut that often unfortunately, because I enjoyed my visit and wish I could go more often! But to treat yourself 4 or 5 times a year, this is the place!!

I am a regular member at the Southlake location. I have been a member for over a year now. My barber has moved to this location and I decided to check it out. This is quite a long drive but good barbers are hard to find. This new location has some nice aspects. Also some drawbacks.Positives:1. Nice bar area2. Has a media room although nothing was playing!3. Near some decent restaurants.4. Outdoor seating areaCons:1. Hard to find2. Parking was not clear or properly marked3. Hair wash chairs did not reclineOverall the place has potential but still like the Southlake location better.

I have been a long time subscription customer after meeting the owners, Ben and Lauren, at a conference. Although I am happy for their success, the customer service has fallen off dramatically. At the prices charged by the Gents Place, you would think someone would answer the phone or at least return a phone call. The reasons I initially loved the Gents Place sadly appear to be a thing of the past.

They treated me like a king. A drink, and a hair cut. Damn I would definitely recommend anyone to join this club. I was lookin into buying a year membership but unfortunately Im usually never in downtown Dallas otherwise I would of brought the whole year. I wish they had a location in Plano, the closest one is in Frisco but I dont want to go to Frisco. But if youre ever looking for a trim and a drink in a man setting then join the Gents club.
