I had a 1030 appointment for a cut with David at the adolphus. I can understand being over 5-10 minutes. And I appreciate not rushing and doing a bad job. But at halfway through the scheduled time, I had to leave. If he started my cut at 1050 and took the full 30 minutes, much less ran over 2x, I would miss my meeting across the street.I don’t think it’s inappropriate to expect not to wait over half the appointment time. This is poor time management, and poor communication. I never got more than a finger to wait and a “sorry” shrug when I indicated I had to go.I don’t believe I’ll be back. This is a shame, because I’ve had good haircuts here before.

I can’t say enough good things about this barber shop! I scheduled haircuts for my fiancé and two sons and David did a PHENOMENAL job. Seriously…I can’t recommend this place enough. Top notch service and very professional.

Made an appointment with Elliott to get my fiancé cleaned up for our engagement pictures. Online scheduling was easy. He was nice & professional, did a great job cleaning up my mountain man! Even when we noticed that there was a bit of unevenness under his chin, Elliott fixed it right away, super nice about it! Will be back for another cut closer to the wedding.

You need to do whatever you can to avoid going in at Valerie. I think thats her name. I told her 3 times how I want the haircut! and then I asked her: are you sure you understood cause I dont mind explaining again. She said: Yes. Then during the haircut she said: time for new haircut and she destroyed my look. she literally cut what I told her 3 times not to cut. And I did not know because I was not facing the mirror. She is the worst ever!!! She is slow, cursing the whole time and bad at her job. I was there on 09.16.2019 at 5 PM CDT.

I booked an appointment for 2p and showed up at 150p. The barber was cutting another customer’s hair and advised that she was “running a little behind”. I walked around the lobby of the hotel and eventually took a seat outside. At 245p she was still cutting the same customer’s hair. When I asked how much longer I would have to wait for my 2p appointment, she said there was one more customer ahead of me, but was certain it wouldn’t take long. At this point I had to leave. It is ridiculous that I was not warned upon my arrival that I would have to wait over an hour past my appointed time.

I see Jordan Mieth. I’ve received excellent haircuts each time I’ve been in. I’ve tried a number of shops and salons in uptown/downtown at similar prices. Nowhere else compares favorably, in my opinion.
