I have used Pattons on a couple of occasions and they are honest, good people and always go above and beyond. Reasonable fees as well! It is often hard to find honest, fair people and I have always found them to be so. I also appreciate being able to use a local garage so close to home. Highly recommended!

They put a new muffler on my sons car. No fuss no muss!

I used this shop when one of my catalytic converters went bad on my truck. Ford and my normal mechanic wanted $1,500+ for a new one, but they couldn’t even get the part in. I’m OCD about my truck and so I was skeptical about Patton’s cutting and welding in a new catalytic converter but I needed it done. They did the job quick, it looked professionally done, and was a fraction of the cost. I do recommend, especially for anything exhaust related. They seem to be true car guys.

I would have if they were remotely professional! I called yesterday to have my exhaust replaced, they said their muffler guy was out sick, and wasn’t sure he was even going to work this week, really?! They told me to call back this AM, I did, someone picked up the line, heard them talking in the background, I said hello, they hung up. I went somewhere else! Gee yah think!

Charged me for Exhaust and didnt even put a muffler on my car. My Exhaust tips where uneven and wouldnt return my calls or answer the phone. I do not recommended taking my vehicle to them.

The mechanic was not competent in replacing catalytic converters. He was very dishonest and stated the part you purchased is defective. I took the truck to another mechanic who checked and noticed the mechanic didn’t replace the manifold gasket. I have the converters and my truck is working perfectly now. Please be warned of This incompetentmechanic. He got very defensive when I asked questions and responded, “you want your cake and eat it too.” Wow, that’s how you talk with customers keeping you in business. WARNING do not use this mechanic unless you want your money stolen and you don’t mind being lied to...

Took my 2014 Ram 2500 in for an exhaust upgrade. Under Amoss advice I went with a Flowmaster 70 series exhaust....extremely happy with it.Very fast and professional service, very reasonable prices.

I have taken my mother in laws car, my truck and my wifes SUV along with my classic car and truck to Amos Patton several times. All the work he has done on our vehicles was needed and no other work was created to increase the business income. He always calls and tells you want is wrong and how must the repairs will cost. His prices are lower than the dealers who do the same work and charge far more than Amos. My family is very pleased with Amoss work. Amos is a Christian and is a honest man and if he cannot do the work he will tell you and the people that he will refer you to are also honest Christian business men.

Needed both O2 sensors replaced and Mr. Patton couldnt get them out. Didnt charge me for the service and recommended that I take my vehicle to the Dealership. Turns out their was a service bulletin for my year and model vehicle. The manufacture put incompatible O2 sensors in and they would melt and themselves to the manifolds. The Dealership quoted me $850.00 to replace the O2 sensors and an additional $4000.00 for 2 new manifolds. Even though it was a Manufacturer defect. Took my vehicle back to the Pattons and he worked and worked on the sensors until he got them out without even having to remove the manifolds. Ended up charging my 1/4 of his original quote. Great work and very honest. I would recommend them to anyone and my vehicle is driving great.

If youre looking for an assembly line style auto shop, this is not the place. Amos and his team take the time and care to service your auto as if it was their own. Instead of finding a quick fix just to hurry you off the lot and take your money, Pattons Auto invests the time and energy in finding the root cause of the issue.Ive been having issues all relating to one problem for months. Ive been to at least five different auto repair shops, and have received at best average device. Pattons Auto quickly found the root cause of my mechanical problems and my car is running better than it has in YEARS! They even sent me a hand written thank you card.The price for their services are also extremely competitive. I couldnt believe it. If youre looking for an auto shop that takes pride in their service and care for their customers this is the place.

Mr. Patton seems to be honest. Had two services done and they were priced much lower than the shop I previously went to. This is my new neighborhood mechanic.

I guess they saw an easy mark coming through the door....Last week my daughter left her 98 Volvo at Pattons to get a $50 front end alignment. 30 minutes later she receives a call from the shop telling her that the ball joint on the passenger side of the car is gone and it will have to be replaced before the front end alignment can be done. Ill call you back with an estimate on the job. The estimate for the job turned out to be $691 which included replacing the ball joint - on both sides because they come in parts and the front end alignment. Now I dont know much about cars, but a ball joint sounds like a pretty important part. Couple that with the fact that we had just come from Discount Tires where we had 4 new tires installed (you would think they would have noticed a missing ball joint), the ball joint thing sounded fishy. We immediately went to retrieve the Volvo and took it to another shop where we were able to get the alignment and given a chance to see BOTH perfectly good ball joints right where they were supposed to be. Either the mechanic at Patton doesnt know a ball joint from a hole in the wall or there is some shady business going on there. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of service we received there and will not be going back.

I want to take the time to write a review for Patton Muffler. Im not one to ever write reviews, but I feel obligated to do so after the quality service I received today from Patton Muffler. I took my 92 Corvette here today to install a set of aftermarket exhaust. These guys were great with answering all of my questions and had a set of Flowmaster Exhausts installed on my vette within two hours!! The car sounds amazing and they did a wonderful job. I cannot recommend this quality business enough!! If you need any work done to your car, take it here first!! You will be glad you did!

The thing I like most about patton is that you get an honest diagnosis of your vehicle. Also, he will give you choices. He does not give you a bottom line choice. We have an older toyota that we take to him periodically. The last time I took it to him was for new brakes. He called me back and said I did not need new brakes. Who does that? In todays society you do not get that. I can highly recommend him. If I could give him more stars, i would!!!

Awesome experience! I have had genuine auto shop fear (of being financially taken for a ride) since I was a teenager that has followed me into adulthood. Going based on these reviews alone, to get eventually, both my cars fixed with new radiators and power steering pump and now the latest water pump replacement I could not be happier! The owner, Amos, recognized my insecurities of leaving my cars for repair and the first thing he told me was Listen, I know what its like to be on your side of the counter too. If I didnt understand how you as the customer was feeling than I dont need to do this job. I almost cried. Been there 3 times and the work was done great, timely and treated very well! I will refer Pattons highly to anyone!

I had a 2007 GMC Canyon that had a popping sound coming from the front of the truck. I took it to the dealership and was told that I had a bad motor mount bushing. They couldnt tell which one, so they would have to replace them one at a time until the popping stopped. There are 8 motor mount bushings, so this could get expensive. I decided to get a second opinion and went to Pattons. Amos Patton took my truck back and was out in 10 minutes telling me it was fixed. There was a bolt on my brake calipers that was loose. Pattons will ALWAYS get my business and my referrals.
