Hances did an outstanding job repairing a challenging dent on my Audi RS7. The dent was at a point where several different angles and edges meet on an aluminum door. They obviously have some very skilled and experienced people. Customer service was top notch and I appreciated the regular updates. I definitely recommend Hances.

I went to Hances to fix a rear bumper after a minor collision. I had to work with the other persons insurance which is usually a hassle, but Carrie at Hances took all correspondence off of my hands and made it seamless. I was able to get the car in the day after I stopped by for a quote which is unheard of at the larger body shops. They did take 24 days to fix the bumper but most of that was due to having to order a new one and deal with a slow responding insurance agent on the other side. Carrie updated me frequently throughout the process and was great to deal with. The new bumper came out looking awesome, and it comes with a lifetime warranty on the paint job. All in all, I would highly recommend going to Hances for any work done. They are also a local business so supporting them feels great! Thanks Carrie and team!

After multiple trips back to repair the things on my brand new truck after the collision repair at the Plano location, I have decided to let another shop repair the remining items. This review system definitely favors the shop since we still are required to give at least one star. An automatic 20% approval rating before they even turn a wrench.

My Christmas present came super early for me this year. My BMW had a pretty bad scratch on the bumper. I requested repair quotes online from several Bodyshop. I received quotes as high as $950. I decided to take my car to Hance’s Uptown Collision. I’m not exaggerating; they fixed my car in less than 5 minutes. I was amazed; I opened my mouth wide in amazement. I couldn’t believe they fixed the scratches in less than 5 minutes. To make this experience even more impressive for me, they did not charge me a dime. Most body shop knowing this is a job that won’t take time would still have told me to leave the car and come back in 6 hours to make it look as if they worked on it for several hours. Some might even claim they changed the bumper; not this guys, I respect their honesty and transparency. I walked in for an estimate on damage to the wheel well/fender of my Tacoma and was provided a fair and reasonable estimate for PDR work right away. The next day, I dropped my truck off in the morning and had it back by the afternoon. The PDR Technician did the best he could but because of the way my truck was damaged, he said it was too difficult to get the contour perfectly shaped, so they knocked 2/3 off the price of my estimate. I would say they fixed the damage 95% of perfect and certainly as well as I could have expected (see for yourself, before and after pics attached). The estimate was already fair to begin so they did not have to knock 2/3 off the price, but they did, so I received excellent service for much less than I expected. Ill be going back and recommending them to everyone I know. This is a quality, local shop that puts their customers first. Give them your business.

I’ve recently had my front bumper/side fender repaired here from a minor fender benderPositive Feedback:-Their customer service is professional and gives off the impression that they care for your business.-Repairs come with a lifetime warranty, so that’s great-Very responsive and great at communication-Dent was repaired satisfactorilyNegative Feedback-Unfortunately, while the repair had a good turnaround time, the execution of the repair was very lackluster when it came to the final detail.The reason for this review being a one star review is because I’ve had to come back a second time as I have noticed that my vehicle had several markings written on the body that were part of their repair process that have not been removed.Adding to that, upon my return (2nd Visit) they promised to address the issue immediately with compounding and buffing out these markings. Even had me inspect the car to make sure the markings were gone (which they seemed to be). A week later, I am washing my car and all markings remain present, forcing me to have to call again and set up a third time to bring my car to the shop.Conclusion: My time is valuable as a business professional and I don’t like to waste it on repeat visits for petty issues that didn’t even have anything to do with the repair in the first place.Please reference my images for visuals.

I previously brought my Jeep to Hance’s Uptown Collision for paint work a few yrs back and they did an outstanding job, so I had my insurance also bring my StingerGT to Hance’s after damaging the front nose & passenger fender hitting a patch of ice and going head on into a gate the week Dallas was hit with a snow storm. I worked with Rob & John on the repairs and Michelle was the customer service rep who kept me up to date and relayed messages to the team for me. Upon taking delivery of the Stinger once the repairs were finished, I noticed immediately that it looks better than before the damage even occurred. The paint matched 100% to the adjacent fenders and the fit & finish of the bumper and fender is dead spot on. They even went above and beyond and put gas in the tank for me. Thank you Rob, once again for the superb workmanship of your team and outstanding commitment to excellent work. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Hance’s over any other body shop in DFW!

I have never ever had service like this at a body shop!!! John took great care of me and popped my bumper in and fixed it and got rid of my scratches like it never even happened. I was quoted thousands for this but it was not true after seeing Hances. Will not be going anywhere else from now on!!!!!

Alright so this review went back and forth and was even almost a 3 at one point. First impression, 5 stars. Service, facility, and employee attitude are all off the charts. A large branch had fell on my new(to me) C6 corvette and I was as sad as you would imagine. I just dropped a large check for the car so I wasnt excited about following up with a deductable. Kirby did a great job explaining my options.So heres where thing went south. A rear windshield ended up taking nearly 2 weeks to arrive. Now thats not Hances fault, but you do have to hold businesses responsible for their vendor choice sometimes. However, Im no pretty patient and Kirby was doing a great job of following up daily until this one Friday.Now I had a contact at this particular vendor and called to ask what was the hold up. He informed me that they had been and installed the glass earlier that day. Well Kirby set the bar high and I was shocked I hadnt got a call. So I called and got nothing at all locations. I got a little concerned as I really wanted my car that weekend and decided to stop by.... Turns out they had closed early for the holiday. I was pretty upset all weekend and was ready to see what bs excuse would be made for why I didnt receive my car and people left early. I didnt leave a voicemail or even want them that I was aware so I could see what they said. So Monday morning before I can even storm my way over there, Kirby on his own, left a sincere and apologetic email about not calling Friday, letting me know that they delivered the glass early that afternoon. No cover-up, full responsibility, and sounded really frustrated about it. You just dont see a lot of that, especially from repair shops. I had a great weekend without the car and when I got her back she was great. I appreciate the integrity and pride the folks here have and really cant imagine myself allowing less from a competitor. Great job from great people!

After getting hit by a traffic cone (no really..it fell off of this truck directly in front of me and went straight into the lower grill of my car), i took it to Hance’s and they took care of me right away! The staff was super friendly, they were honest, and helped me in a very timely manner. They definitely gained a loyal customer and I’ll recommend to anyone who ask.

The biggest shout out to Hances, especially Michelle & Mike. I cant thank for recommend them enough. We accidentally ran over a green spray paint can (yes, the neon green type) and it exploded all over the back of our black 4Runner. I quickly called Hances and they said to bring it in. Michelle and Mike quickly sprung into action and lent a hand (and some supplies) to help remove the paint before the sun baked it on there. They were so generous with their time and expertise. I recently had some work done on a bumper scratch & they were outstanding. They were very friendly, came out & gave an honest assessment of what I was looking at, my options, the amount it would be & a timeline to do the repair/repaint. They said it would be 2 days (which was amazingly fast) & it was 2 days. They did an outstanding job & the result I was very happy with. Overall a very positive experience. I would use them again & highly recommend them.

Excellent auto body shop that I highly recommend.I had to have the grille and bumper completely replaced on my 2016 Mazda CX-5. I brought my car in on a Monday morning and they had it done by Thursday afternoon. The fast turnaround was already appreciated, but even more so given that this was the week before Christmas.The price I paid for the work was very fair. The work itself was fantastic. The front office staff was very friendly and professional. They provided status updates throughout the repair process, which was a nice extra.Overall, Im very pleased. If I have to have auto body work done in the future, I will be taking my car back to these folks without hesitation.

Hance’s did an exceptional job repairing my car and restoring it back to looking brand new. They were extremely helpful from beginning to end and kept in touch by email to let me know how things were going. When I called with a question, they knew exactly what phase of repairs my car was in and were able to tell me exactly what work was left and when I could expect to pick it up. They also finished much earlier than the original estimate so that was great. They’re the best!

Just might want to confirm upfront if youre accustomed to using a credit card, like I am, and most of the free world these days.Wow, just saw the response to my review from 3 years ago. I fairly, honestly advised that people simply might want to confirm the payment policy written on the wall of the shop. That was all, it was fair. I then proceeded to get grilled dishonestly with 4 paragraphs of personal attack. And apparently it seems you should not expect confidentiality on your repair situation from Hances based on this detailed grilling followup. Good to know to for all future customers. Im taking my rating down to 1 star.Wow again, is all I can say. I know in every single country on this planet, the person paying is defined as the client or customer. So I dont know what planet Hances management is from to say Im not the customer, but I will respectfully concede that the definition of a customer is different on that one.

Great all-around experience. Very helpful and nice customer service. Accurate estimate and fixed my shattered windshield faster than the estimated time. They also washed the outside and cleaned the inside of my car making it feel brand new when I got it back. Highly recommend Hance Paint & Body and will definitely be back if/when my car needs repairs.

They dont even deserve 1 star. This was a horrible experience, and I want to save you the trouble and your money. They did a horrible job and communicated very poorly about the quality of work they would do for exorbitant prices. Then, before they will give you your keys, they make you sign a document attesting to their great quality of work and a warranty saying that it is at their discretion if there is an issue with their repair. Id be SHOCKED if they agreed to an error on their behalf. This place is a sorry excuse of a paint and body shop. Youre better off paying your insurance deductible and having quality work done on your car.

I had a wonderful experience. My car was unfortunately backed into in a parking garage and the person responsible left the seen with no note or anything. I had a dent in my drivers side door. I went to another garage first for an estimate and they immediately told me it would be 1300$ without exploring any other options which led me here. I popped in for an estimate and was given the option of trying to bang out the dent first for $300 before going in and replacing the door. I was able to make an appointment and my car was only there for a few hours and the result is amazing. They were able to bang it out and the door looks incredible with no leftover scratch or dent. Hopefully I never have an experience like this again but if I do I know exactly where to go. Thank you so much!

Where to even start when you are so thrilled with the service youve received. They are Thieves !!. Went to get an estimate for two BMWs, to get the front bumpers painted. Their estimate was $1,200 each ($2,400 for both). Absurd price, went to another 3 body shops and got estimates ranging $300-$500 each.! Shows to prove “Hence’s Uptown Collision” is a RIP OFF.

I work at a body shop in Aurora Colorado and we recently had a vehicle that we repaired and the owner lives in Dallas. They picked up their vehicle and drove it straight home to Dallas. Once they got into Dallas, the vehicle broke down and was leaking fluid. We had to find a shop that would allow us to tow it in and help us by looking into the issue.Hances was the first and only shop I called. I explained the situation to Lauren and she told Rob about everything. Both of them were outstanding to us. Take your car here to be repaired. Hances found over $1500 more in hidden damage that the insurance company wasnt going to repair. Communication was great- calls, texts and emails to keep me updated. They did all of the paperwork to get the insurance company to pay for the extra damages. The work looks great. Highly recommend.

My family has used Hances Paint & Body Service for years. My grown children had many Fender Benders in their teens and we went to Hance a lot. The work they do is first rate, but just as important to me is the fair pricing, honest dealings and ease of doing business. I recently had a hit and run dent fixed. I travel a great deal with my work and I was able to leave my car after hours, pay with a credit card over the phone and my car was delivered to my home for me, since I would not get back to town during business hours to pick it up. I cant say enough good things about Rob and the business he runs.

I went in without an appointment and the adjuster met me expeditiously and gave me an excellent estimate. They didnt of the car and get the repairs done in about three working days. The work is excellent and come exactly as promised. What an amazing repair experience!

I own a small collection of automobiles and am extremely picky about who I let work on them or service them. I have used Hance Paint and Body Uptown numerous times and have always been extremely happy with the quality of work and the professionalism as I am not the easiest customer to deal with being so picky about my repairs. Rob, the owner, has greeted me personally each time I have visited and the paperwork and body repair whether going thru insurance or not has been explained to me in detail. I highly recommend this business and will continue to refer friends and family. It is comforting to see a service oriented business that is fair and honest and not after your last dollar!

Hances Uptown Collision Center, or body shop, is hands-down the best, most customer-oriented shop I have ever come across.The owner is very honest and extremely ethical about both his working standards and the standards that an individual should receive to have a safe, proper mechanical and body repair.I had a couple of insurance issues that I was not aware of and that an adjuster failed to mention would not be covered. I came into Hances office to overhear the shop standing up on my behalf to get repairs and body work made properly in what seemed like a very intense argument. Hances felt it was not my fault to pay extra for a technicality and kindly chose to not dispute the extra costs they endured to get my car back into proper working order.Summary: this shop is extremely clean, responsible, very communicative, and an industry gem in the sense that they are very passionate about customer advocacy. If you are not sure of where to take your car, please consider Hances. They have your best interest in mind.

Friendly service with an authenticity thats rare nowadays. They do their best job to save you money and work around your schedule. Theyre popular with good reason so you likely wont get an appointment immediately, but a couple weeks is worth the wait. I was able to get my car in and out in less than a day because they pre-ordered the parts and had me drop off my car just for the installation. A really nice bonus is that they also clean your car inside and out! Not only did my car look new after their repairs, it also felt new. I wish they offered more than collision because I would go here for everything my car ever needs. Absolutely recommend!

I was in an unusual and complicated situation with my car, and extremely upset after my hood flew open and smashed my windshield on 75. I went in for an estimate, and I was vaguely quoted 3K to 4K from the owner. He did not provide me with a written itemization of the cost regarding parts, labor, etc. He also wanted to replace parts of my car that could have been fixed otherwise.I went to two other body shops, and they both formulated a written estimate for me. Both estimates were WAY lower than Hances. I ended up paying $1500 in the end and my car looks amazing.I never write reviews as I am a busy attorney, but Im writing this one because Im so grateful I saved $1500, if not more, on my car. By the way, Hances has no written record of me at their shop because I stopped by for five minutes, verbally communicated with them, and left right after.Do your auto research and get quotes from reputable body shops around town.

Charged for everything little thing and just trying to get more money from the insurance company. Of course that did not work out so well. The staff is great but very overpriced for no work being done.

Love Hance auto repair! Although the circumstances surrounding my situation were unfortunate, the only thing that would have made it worse was having to deal with an untrustworthy auto repair shop. So thankful that Hance was the exact opposite! They were extremely sensitive to my situation and handled my car (+ my nerves) with such care. As they worked on my car, I received updates each day throughout the week it was in the shop and I could not have been more pleased with the results. The staff is friendly, straight forward, hard working, and absolutely trustworthy. I would highly recommend you give them a chance to help you out!

Stopped by here last week to get a quote to fix a dent on my Nissan Altima and was very impressed with the shop. They are a locally owned and operated repair shop that has been in the same location for decades. The people are friendly and honest.I didnt end up using Hance Paint and Body, but that is only because I went with a personal friend of mine that is located in Bedford. I live in Dallas and checked out Hance Paint and Body mainly because it was much closer to my house. Will recommend them to others looking for a local auto body repair shop Dallas.

So impressed by this business and its owner. I called in with an urgent problem - the bottom part of my bumper had just fallen-off and was dragging on the ground. When I got to the store, the owner jumped out from behind the desk, spent 15-20 minutes under my car fixing the problem with his powertools, and then sent me on my way. I tried to pay him but he refused, just said if I needed further work to give him a call. Hard to imagine a more friendly and helpful businessman. I will definitley go here next time I need auto body work. Many thanks for your help, really appreciate it.

I understand that during a repair new damages will come to light but taking three full weeks in comparison on the one that it was supposed to take it a bit much. Then again, I’m not in the industry & don’t know how long it takes to order parts, labor hours, etc. The true reason for the three star review is that the vehicle was delivered to us with a soaked, now water stained, back seat.

Very good workmanship and responsive service. Owner Rob is a car collector and his passion is evident in how they have their customers best interests in mind when making repair recomendations. On several occasions Rob actually disuaded me from doing unnecessary work on my cars.

I had a very unfortunate hit & run experience that required Hances Uptown Collision Centers services. Coming from out of town, I wasnt sure where to go to get my car fixed so I took a shot in the dark based on Hances proximity to my apartment. I could NOT have been happier with my services. Everyone was unbelievably kind and professional when I brought my car in for an estimate, which was completed in 20 minutes. They took less than a week (during a busy holiday season) to get parts ordered and everything repaired on my car. They provided status updates via email along the way (parts have been ordered, parts have been shipped, parts have arrived and are being painted, etc.). They handled the actual repair in under two hours, AND I was so pleasantly surprised to see that theyd washed my car and vacuumed the interior on top of the repair. I will be recommending Hances to everyone I know.

I used Hance to repair damage after being rear-ended. They had great reviews online and I was not disappointed. Rob help me navigate the insurance process and worked to get the actual cost of repairs covered.I dropped my car off at 9am and it was done by 3pm that same day!The entire process was painless. Something I have not experienced elsewhere. Im hoping it will be a while before I have to visit Rob again, but he will be my first call after any accident.
