Project:  A free standing box 66 w x 56 h x 16 d for an electric fireplace insert  We planned this project for 2022.  Given construction timelines, we contacted Mike Frontczak,  Owner of Custom Creations Woodworking knowing it can take a year.  His response, This is something we do.  I said, Great, attached are the specifications.   What is projected timeline and cost?   His response,  On our end two weeks.  Approximate cost $2000. I told him to send me drawings and written quote and I will complete the paper work.Being 74 years old, my wife and I were excited by the timeline. I ordered a $2400 electric fireplace insert and expedited shipping a 200 lb unit from Iowa with delivery in four days.Mike said he couldnt provide quote without field measurements.   I couldnt understand given it is a free standing structure and he had all the dimensions.  We cleared our calendar for the next week to accommodate his need for field measurements .Suddenly his emails made no sense.  His concerns did not relate to the project.When I pushed for us to meet to clear up communication, I recieved this:Several pending jobs just came through and I won’t be able to get to your project in the near future.
