I have been to a lot of different nail salons, and the results have never been this poorly. The guy cut me at least 5 times, and he pretended like he didn’t see my cuts, except the biggest one since there was a lot of blood coming out. My nails turned out atrocious; the gel polish is not even, there are bumps everywhere, the end of my nails are diagonally, and the guy kept digging his nails on my fingers. I do NOT recommend this place, and I am definitely NEVER going back.

I got a manicure and pedicure last week, I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted before we started. When he got ready to do the white he didn’t ask if I wanted powder or gel just automatically grabbed the powder and started, I wanted rainbow lines on the ends but they didn’t even have all of the colors. I picked green, pink and purple. He proceeded do put the green on then purple underneath so obviously pink should come next. No, he then proceeded to put another strip of green so I was upset and told him to leave it the way it is. He only applied the top coat to the nails on my left hand so my right hand nails are very lumpy on the ends with clumped up polish. The color lines are very uneven, some lines are thin and others are very thick. He was also very rough while filing my nails, it was pulling my actual nail. When he used the drill to clean under the nail he was drilling the tips of my fingers so it was constantly burning me. It has already peeled, there is a smudge, bubbles in multiple nails on my left hand (a lady came in to complain about bubbles in her nails while he was doing mine) and the top coat peeled off on one nail. 2 nails have already broken off also, my sister went with me the same day and 3 of her nails are loose as well. The overall work was just messy. This was my first and last time ever going here.

I am from Washington, DC. I was passing through VA heading to North Carolina an I needed my nails done for an event that I was attending that night in NC. Anyway these are my real nails I just needed a fill in or overlay whatever you’d prefer to call it, and I had gotten the luxury pedicure. My pedicure was good no issues, I also got a clean up of the eyebrows. But my nails you would think what I asked for was easy since I sat still as a statue. Oh no my nails must have been scientific and an scientist needed to do them, because they were painted the way I wanted but the nail tech didn’t even take the time to clean up my nail and make the line look straight just like the picture I had showed him. I didn’t say anything when he was working, because I assumed he would fix it so once my nails where done. I just said yep okay never will I return. The manager offered to fix it but the damage is done an I had to hit the road I still had 4 hours or so to drive. An I will not drive back to Culpepper just to get my nails fixed. Then I paid $105 for f’ing what?! How much is a freaking fill in? SMH, This place is trash no I take that back the nail tech is trash.

If you come visit nifty nails ask for Charlie. He is hands down the best! He always does a great job on my nails. I find a design I want and hes always able to do it! His hot stone pedis are the best as well ! I highly recommend this place due to everyone being so professional and friendly but recommend Charlie because he always does great work!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I was highly dissatisfied with my recent manicure. I went in for a gel removal and simple manicure and I’m really thankful I didn’t waste money on anything else. The removal itself went great, the nail tech was polite and gentle (and super patient!). Unfortunately, they suddenly left and someone new starts the manicure (without letting me know someone new would be working with me etc). The manicure itself felt like a trip to the dentist, painful / uncomfortable and when I verbalized the discomfort the tech laughed it off. The end product was atrocious. My nails were filed VERY unevenly and not in the shape I requested (even after letting the tech know I was unhappy with the shape multiple times). The simple nail polish was messy (the edges weren’t cleaned up). I would not recommend this salon.

I love visiting Mina to get my gel mani and pedi’s at Nifty Nails. She takes her time and really cares about her customers! She is amazing!! And so is the nifty nails team 😀

I have been frequenting the salon for a long time, but today they did a very bad job for me I asked for some casual nails and I asked for gel, which I repeated like 3 times but the man put powder on me, I never asked for that, I had to pay something that I didnt ask for, I paid 50 dollars For some that are not worth it, when I have had much more beautiful ones and for that price in that same salon, the guy did not even recognize that it was his mistake and he assured that it was my fault50$ ????

I came to here for a full gel set, the guy I had acted like he didn’t want to do my nails. I sat in the chair to get my nails done and he didn’t speak a word to me, was VERY rough on my nails and cut me not once but twice. He knew I was bleeding and didn’t even ask if I was okay. He was in such a rush to get done with my nails, did a terrible job painting them. Highly wouldn’t recommend this place. Do better.

Horrible. Will never go back. The guy that did my pedicure was great my actual Pedicure was great. Manicure not at all. He cut my finger and blamed it on me. I asked for a full set ombré was told they couldn’t so I told them to paint my natural nails to match my toes then all of a sudden he said for me he could do ombré I declined since he said he couldn’t to begin with. He was so rude to me the whole time. My nails aren’t even painted fully. I could not believe how unprofessional this place was. They post amazing work on Facebook and just don’t live up to it. Highly recommend for no one to ever go here.

HORRIBLE. I made an appointment for a full set, pedicure and an eyebrow wax. Somehow the services I requested were lost in translation to the nail tech. I had my pedicure done, then they left me to sit for over an hour until I finally got up to just pay and leave. Not a single person checked on me, kept up with my requested services, and they constantly take walk ins that they treat WAY better than those who try to make appointments. I will never ever go here again.

Made appointment just needed a manny and peddy. Sat there for 20 minutes after my allotted time. Finally got seated with this guy that needed a manny started to work on my nails which, was more painful then the dentist. After that they had me seated in the massage chair for almost and hour, I finally ask if someone was going to attend to my feet and after one lady started on the feet another younger lady finished. This was the worse nail salon I have ever been in. Never again. This should be called Nasty Nail Salon instead of Nifty. The place was filthy.Jan

The staff was very kind and accommodating! However, the facility is not the cleanest and I would have likely enjoyed my experience a bit more had it been cleaner. My services were pretty good, but I have had better elsewhere.

I went in expecting nice amazing people to greet me at the door, since that day my husband left me for another man. i walked in and it smelt like du🥁du🥁 biscuits. it wasn’t pleasant. after thirty minutes of waiting in a empty corner of the establishment, finally someone came to greet me. i told him i wanted grey but he handed me orange. i ended up opening the bottle and putting it in his telling him “DOES IT LOOL GREY” i was abt fed up so i grabbed my purse and left. 😕 overall, the chairs looked musty but i saw a cutie in the corner.sincerely, Mrs. Ramunascutania

This used to be my “to go” place but I spent 110$ on a set that came off in 3 days. Never wasting my money there again.

I havent found a home yet for my nails. This is my second time coming here since my first experiance was the best Ive ever had. This time around I still absolutely adore my nails but the next day my fingers were super sore from being cut in 5 different places and filed down to nail bed on my thumbs. Be aware while they work on you but the outcomes is always amazing!

I love getting pedicures here and they do a great job. I highly recommend having an appointment and coming mid week as they do get busy and then before you know it you’ve been here 3 hours.

I went to go get nails done with my besties and the man was doing my nails was being so rude and the other man was mocked me and they both started laughing.

Great work. Needs to price quote beforehand. I went in for a fill I was quoted $55 for pink and white, the tech said I needed a fill set although I had just had one. I asked how much he said Im going to do it for free although when I went to pay my bill it was $145 . I did get designs on all 10 nails he said just 30$ extra..that wouldve been $85.I would have given 5 stars if the quote was accurate. Im glad I had the money but that could have been an issue if I had a budget and only so much money that day.

Unfortunately, alot of your experience depends on your nail tech. My sister in law and I went together, had we not I dont think Id consider going back. We went for longer over due pedicures, her male tech was on point for all ingrown toe nails, massage, scrubbed all her dead skin off. Mine was an older lady and seem to do bare minimum, she just cut half of my ingrowns and left the base of them, my nails arent even the same length. No massage, kept the hot towel on my legs so long I had to take them off they had gotten cold.

Worst nail experience ever,My mother and I went in she had to get her nails painted three times then Charlie had to come then take the polish off file her nails down from the tech before him didn’t, she still was very upset with her nails her fingers are sore from where they are filed to her quick,she’s got multiple spots on her fingers where she’s been cut, my nails are not quite what I wanted I will not be a returning customer at this location not even as far as Charlies customer very poor nail place!!!

Charlie has became my go to for nails, I’m always happy with them. Be sure to make an appointment as the wait can be long, but worth it!

I just went their for my first time for a full & eyebrows. My nail tech was Charlie. I love him! Hes so nice & knowledgeable! He did such a great job! This is going to be my new go to every 2 weeks!

Charlie really took care of me and my nails. It was my first time getting a full set from there and at first I was nervous because I didn’t know the outcome. He was very professional with it all and even made some jokes here and there and made me feel less nervous. Overall my experience there was very nice and my nails look FANTASTIC! I was and am very happy with his work and with the vibe that was given in the salon in general. 10/10 would recommend :)

Love this place and I’ve tried EVERY nail salon in this area or near the area. I always ask for Charlie, he’s amazing! Any picture you show him, he will do it justice!!! Everyone in there is so sweet and so apologetic whenever it gets busy, I HIGHLY recommend them, they get the job done and RIGHT!

Exemplary service! Ive been going to this nail salon for the passed few years & Charlie never lets me down. Amy the nail technician is amazing! I trust them entirely knowing my nails & toes will always look & feel great. Prices are good too! Definitely worth it.

If I could give this place no stars I would!!!! Terrible customer service!!! Me and my roommate were having a girls trip and stop in and to get our nail with color changing nails that we both really love. First, the girl rush my roommate and her nails looked terrible. Then when we told them it look bad. First the owner, tried to explain color to us and when we don’t them that’s not the problem. They refused to give us a refund and said we have to stay and get them redo or we could left without a refund. So we decided to stay and when my roommate pick a nail polish she like. They told her it would be $ 5 more!!!! Are you kidding me!! You give my roommate and me terrible service and are unwilling to give us a refund and you can just let that extra five dollars go!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!

Dude cut me in 3 places doing a pedicure. Even the massage hurt. It was more like torture than a relaxing pedicure. Ouch!

I’m currently waiting...waiting...I’ve been here since 11:30 and it’s now almost 1. There’s 3 guys working 3!! Juggling 10 people literally running from the pedicure stools to the waxing room ..I’m annoyed . I usually come here because they are one of the best in town but from here on out I’ll be making an appointment instead

When I go to my nail salon my acrylic nails normally last two weeks when I went to them they lasted 4 days without breaking they broke when I was doing a simple task such as turning off the light switch also the guy who did my nails was very rude

I went to have my hands and feet done just French style something simple and fast .... they didnt paint me right all over the place .... they redone my fingernails but they didnt remove the paint well and it they painted enzyme ... they serve many people at the same time and leave the others waiting ... they do everything quickly and badly ... I argued with one of them because I didnt like how my nails left me ... They are horrible I do not recommend it.
