I had a little bit of a wait this morning, but that is because they are training. I feel like that is everywhere these days. I had nice gentleman greet me right away and gave me a bottle of water. When it was my turn for the oil change; the store manager, Nick, was wonderful! He apologized multiple times and was very friendly and funny. I will definitely be back. They were fast and efficient when it was my turn and they weren’t pushy with extra services like other places can be! Go see Nick!

They are always nice and professional. They check, check, and then re-check. You stay in your car start to finish, and they offer you a bottle of water upon entering. It’s a pleasant experience and makes getting an oil change less of a “chore”.

Almost 90 minutes to make an oil change !! But if we consider shortage of labor, especially experienced one than I can understand. 6 guys and 5 or 4 of them was just watching and learning. One important thing worth to mention is that people were leaving from the port, disappointed, with their hoods popped up. That could be dangerous on a high speed road or highway.4 stars for the foreman who deal with all happy customers

They do good work here. I brought my wifes car in for transmission service (pan and filter) and now shes been sneaking in here to get her oil changed behind my back... My failing back. 😂. So far I have nothing but good things to say. As a former ASE certified tech I will say they are thorough and quick relative to a proper job meaning, they move as fast as they can without skipping steps and they do perform a quality checks. Keep up the good work TAKE 5. WAY better than that scam down the street with the green and white paint scheme.

I had one of the most amazing experience at Crown Point location! The people there are so professional, kind and very informative on what they observed on the vehicles condition. I recently had an oil change and radiator flush. Along with the the service they do complimentary work like check all fluids are topped off and check tire pressures! As soon as they were able to work on my car it was a breeze! There is a bit of a wait time but it is well worth it for the quality of work they do and very reasonable prices. Nick is the shops manager and is a great guy who actually cares about each and every vehicle that comes thru!👍👍

Staff was friendly and courteous. Even offered a bottle of water while I waited! Its the little things. There was minor issue that manager, John, took care of promptly and professionally.

Trying to figure out the order they service the cars. My wife and I sat in our car for a hour. 4 cars that came in after we did. Got in and out before we got serviced. That isn’t right. When I took my car here. They were short handed and I didn’t have to wait as long as I did today. . Might be last time I come here.

Cool spot. Only thing is it took kinda long. There was only 2 cars infront of us and we where there for like 30 mins. But besides that pretty cool

Took my Dad for an oil change on his car (he can’t drive) they were very quick. Awesome job, the guys were friendly and explained the difference to my dad between the oil changes. Changed his air filter, and got us out of there within about 25 minutes. They were absolutely great! Highly recommended. Wish I remembered their names; because they were so good with my Dad!

The staff was incredibly nice! They were thorough and told me how long the wait would be.

They were very friendly, and I appreciated the fact that they showed me the oil filter which did not need to be replaced. After the oil change I used the free vacuum and free car wash and I will definitely use them again for my next Oil Change!

I went to the Crown Point location, told I was too late for service that day. I understood. Was told theyd be open next day at 9. I went at 11 a.m. next day and they were closed.

They were very professional. Wes was wonderful. He took control, checked everything with me. He gave me up front pricing and did a fast efficient oil change. I would definitely go back there.

The guys were great! They got me in and out super fast. Topped off all my fluids, checked my tires and battery for me and completed my oil change in just a few minutes. Didnt try and take advantage of me by selling me things I didnt need, which is great because Ive been pressured into paying for things I dont need or can do myself (from previous places Ive gone to).You get a free car wash voucher to use anytime and you can bring your car back in for fluid top off between oil changes (great plus!).Also they were fun and super friendly! Highly recommend going here!

The guys at take 5 are always rock stars!!! This is the only place I will bring my car and Im not even from the crown point area. Expected a long wait time. They knocked every car out while also being safe and attentive to their jobs. 99% I do my own services the 1% Ill come to this location.

Normally this place is quick moving and spot on with opening up promptly but unfortunately being in line for the past 30 minutes past the time they were supposed to be open is really a big let down forcing me to consider other options to go get an oil change.

Anthony, Wes, Jamaal and the new dude were awesome! Brought 3 cars to them 1/9/21, serviced all in a fast manner respecting my time. BONUS: they are hilarious and actually have a personality. If you love your car, bring it here...

They do a good job and keep you informed throughout the oil change. You also get the free car wash and can use the free vacuums in the parking lot.

I was a new customer. I had brought the car to two other places to change a light bulb. Both places could not get the head light bulb out. The guys at take 5 worked on it for over a half hour. They wouldn’t give up. Finally they were successful. They removed the old one, and replaced it with a new one. They’ve got my business from now on. All three of them were great. Thank you for a job well done.

I was in and out in less than 20 mins. The staff is friendly and the oil change was really convenient and affordable. They offered me a water and didnt pressure me into buying some other service or products. Also, they changedthe reset for the oil alertwalert me asking...which, doesnt seem like a big deal but I am always surprised at how many places dont do it. I will definitely be coming back. Amazing service, the owner should be proud of the staff.

Waited in line 2 1/2 hours to get an oil change, advertise 10 minute oil cahange, dont factor in the 2 hour and 15 minute wait to get in

Good recommendations considering year and mileage of the car. After changing oil. I asked if i could check the dipstick. 1st They had me run the vehicle to circulate oil through new oil filter. Let the oil settle again. Then show me proper level of the dipstick. 👍

Was looking for some place to change my oil during my daughter’s soccer camp. I usually always take my car to the dealer but my oil was very low. I found this location close and quick. It was 95 degrees but only waited for 2 cars ahead of me to be serviced. I was offered water and wasn’t pressured into requiring any additional services beside my oil change. I would definitely return! They employees were professional and courteous and it was insanely hot outside. Thank you Anthony and Vince for making the experience worth the wait in a hot car!

I have been coming to this shop for a few years now, while it was under the old management and still now under Take 5 Oil Change. I have no idea if their prices have changed, but the staff is excellent and Im glad to pay what Im paying for trustworthy staff and quality work. I will say that I always try to go into anywhere with a good attitude, understanding that people are just trying to do their job, and that people (like myself) have good days and bad days.That said, I have never had a bad experience with Take 5, in fact I have only had good experiences. Nick and Sammie and the rest of the team there (Im still trying to learn everyones names) are very professional and polite. Im not an old grandpa always trying to make small talk, but when I mentioned last oil change that I was about to go on a trip out of state, Sammie asked me about it when I came in the next time. She even told me that I can get 2000 more miles out of the oil that I get and that I dont need to come in as soon for changes. Theyre not worried about making money off me, theyre looking out for me. When I had a fog light out that some of the other staff couldnt get out, Nick took it as a challenge and made it happen. Nick even thanked me for my patience while they ordered the bulb from down the street and apologized for the 8 minutes it would take to get there. 8 minutes is nothing at all to wait!And as far as an oil change shop pushing extra services, its part of their job to push services, yet I have never felt pressured to do something I didnt need. I genuinely feel like they want to make sure Im taken care of, and Im not going to choose to be annoyed by their act of good will towards me. Everyone that I have come in contact with at this shop demonstrates professionalism and excellence. They have well earned my loyalty and Ill keep coming back.

This was my first time using Take 5 Oil Change and I will definitely be back! I pulled in and was immediately given a water, an estimated wait time, and a treat for my dog! They were very quickly and friendly. They were very respectful of space and asked each time if they could reach in the car, open the door, etc. You are also given a free car wash that downs expire!

I needed the headlight bulb replaced on my vehicle. The place that I bought the bulb from could not replace it because it requires going through the wheel well. The technician was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes!! Great service and I highly recommend.

After what was an absolute catastrophe resulting in calling off work to have my car be towed to a shop to have 12 quarts of oil drained from the motor, then to the audi dealer for my trans to be refilled and fixed. Heres to keeping fingers crossed for no long term problems with motor, trans, or oil filled cat convertor failure.

Business was open until 5:00 pm. I pulled in at 3:30 for an oil change and was sent away. Was told they weren’t doing any more oil changes today.

As soon as we pulled in (on a hot day) we were politely greeted by the staff with a cold bottle of water. They let us know how long of a wait it would be. Everyone was extremely polite. They let us know what they were doing every step of the way. They advised us of potential issues (engine was extremely hot to the touch and it could be a coolant issue). They flushed out our coolant system which took about 20 minutes (Longer than usual because of multiple air pockets in the lines). It was good they recommended it because the coolant that came out was almost black compared to the bright clean lime green color that it was supposed to be!! Multiple employees checked if we were doing ok, asked if we needed more water, etc. Sammie was the person that did the majority of the service in our vehicle, and she was very polite and extremely professional. All around amazing experience there, and would highly recommend! I would give 10 stars if I could!! Thank you to all the staff!!!

I worked at this location when it was oil n go before the changeover to take 5 and I quit this Crown Point location less than a month ago. After it became take 5 there were two customer cars that blew motors from not being oiled within a couple months. Take 5 also uses their own in house filters which I personally had to pull at least 15 different types due to recalls. Their Castrol eco ($42.99) basic oil change is recycled conventional oil which I don’t think a lot of customers know. I’d reccomend taking any car you care about to it’s manufacturer’s dealerships before coming here for a oil change. When covid first happened Take 5 as a whole company told all their stores to fire their staff down to 3 people, which made 4 people loose their jobs at the Crown Point location without any notice, during a pandemic. Very shady company and badly run shop in particular. It is sad to see what took the place of Oil N Go.

Very friendly and helpful, got in early on sat morning so got in an out quick. Had five dollar off coupon from signing my email up on the website that I used same day, scanned coupon right off my phone. Got free bottle of water and car wash and the usual tire air check and fluid n filter checks. Showed me where oil level was at on dipstick after filling and condition of air filter. Was $38 with five dollar off coupon getting reg castrol gtx eco change for five quarts and eco guard filter on a 13 Dodge Dart.

Dom came and picked my car up so I wouldnt have to miss work. Brought it back nice and clean and ready to go. The next day I noticed the under carriage loose but it was no fault to them it was a different part of my car but they fixed it anyway. Good guys!! I definently recommend!!

These guys are literally the best, had a Buik, they noticed and showed me how clogged the air filter was, later swapped for a Jeep, they did a full inspection (they say comes w any work) and its amazing, Nick went step by step and explained what id need, only suspension work, but hes legit because I actually knew suspension work was needed (didnt say anything about) and knew it was coming up, just not sure when, when he was on Point, also let me park my Jeep overnight (i was afraid might not start in morning) has Best pricing, and Best part of all, you Can Watch The Whole Time, theres a see through window, so you can keep an eye on your baby, just self assurance, I dont Trust any mechanic, except Nick, tbh.

They seem like friendly people, no doubt.They finished my oil change in a reasonable time.However, when it came time for me to get another oil change, I went to Oil Express.My cap was not screwed on tight from Oil N Go, so I had oil EVERYWHERE.I had to get another service to flush out the oil from under my hood that cost roughly $100. A $100 mistake that Oil N Go made.The people at Oil Express were extremely helpful and gave me a discount.Id recommend going there instead!

Good service but definately was longer than 5 min. More like 45 min. When this was oil n go they would vacume out the car and give a coupon for a car wash. I miss Oil N Go!!!
