This company performed a siding and trim replacement for my house. Pretty big job which may have exceeded their comfortable project size.There will be convincing overpromising which never materializes although Bill is very pleasant to work with.I found they were capable of good to very good work - but only if they were closely watched and nagged. Otherwise trim and siding pieces were not level and shortcuts were taken.I strongly recommend anyone using them for a big job not sign or pay up the standard contract you will be offered. Instead hold back a meaningful sum until satisfied that the entire project is done.It is 6 months out and the punch list of promised final work has been forgotten. The lintel used to be one piece and sit neatly over the front door.

Absolutely wonderful working with Hometown Exteriors. We had a small project to replace 2 old broken windows in our home. Numerous other contractors said they wouldnt do the job or would do it but we would pay for a whole house worth of labor (adding thousands to our quote for work they wouldnt be doing). Bill from Hometown was professional and thorough and approached our job with care and detail. Quote was very competitive, and the owner personally checked on our install job after completion. We used Hometown Exteriors, Inc to install siding, gutters, soffits, and all exterior trim on a commerical property of ours that was built in the 1940s. And wow! Within two seasons of moving into a house with a new roof, I discovered a substantial leak and called out three well-reviewed companies to discuss repairs. I ended up going with Bill Kassakatis of Hometown Exteriors, Inc. All three companies basically explained that the previously installation was terrible and I ought to replace the whole thing. Bill backed this up with about 30 pictures of all the things that were done wrong and all the possibilities for leaks all over the roof. Throughout the whole process, from the initial consultations through the contract, installation, and follow up, Bill was easy to work with, professional, personable, and helpful. I am kind of a needy, OCD, suspicious, first time homeowner and I felt confident working with Bill. He answered all of my questions patiently, even after the job was done. He was not pushy with the pitch. I feel really good about the quality of the roof, the installation, and the warranty. Ive never had a new roof before so I dont have comparisons to judge against, but if I move to a new house that needs a new roof, Ill just call Hometown Exteriors. Thank you Bill! Absolutely incredible. Response time is amazing. Bill K. came out to our home to inspect our issues and work up an estimate in less than 24 hours. The true value taken from the home repairs can me from the knowledge and experience that Bill brought to the table. He was very patient when it came to explaining what was causing our leak and what the course of action would be to correct the issue. The area of the issue has not leaked since and there have been several heavy rains following the work completed.
