I had a 3:00 PM appointment for my 6 month cleaning and x-ray and checkup. I arrived early and was seen almost immediately. The cleaning went well. The bite X-rays were completed shortly thereafter. Dr Ulery have me a check up and all was good. It was no more than a half hour experience.Dr Ulery and his staff were very professional and pleasant. The service was exceptional and the visit was second to none.

From entering this first time visit to the last part of this service, I was comfortable being there. The staff was very professional but yet kind and welcoming. The whole process eased my fast beating heart. I was truly nervous but Dr Ulery and staff made me want to return and recommend them to someone else.

I love the staff and Steve. Hes always cheery and great! I dont like that this dental office doesnt have a system to send reminders for appointments. I also dont like that they can only schedule 4 months out. Its a pain to get in and get my teeth cleaned every 6 months.

Not a Fan of the going to the Dentist at all. This place makes it much easier. Steve the hygienist is the best in the business. Everyone else does a solid job as well! Now if only the can get rid of the mask policy.

I had some dental work perform by Dr. Ulery and he and his staff, especially Amy, were excellent throughout the entire process. The work performed was outstanding and the customer service was superb! They were always accessible (even after hours whenever I had a question or experienced an issue). I would highly recommend Ulery Dental as his work is very good and he and all of his staff are so pleasant and put you at ease. I love my smile thanks to Dr. Ulery!

Set up appointment 45 days in advance told receptionist what I needed done root canal on tooth number 3 also gave them my phone number so I could get a courtesy call first I didnt get a courtesy call my secretary had to tell me it was today then when I got there Dr ulery asked me why I was there I asked him doesnt he have records because I couldnt remember what tooth it was he did not have records of it and gave me a hard time he was very argumentative very poor experience receptionists were nice but the doctor himself was very unprofessional would not recommend this place

Went to Dr. Ulerys office on an emergency basis on Monday. I am petrified of going to the dentist and as a result have not done so for many, many years.Unfortunately, I ended up with a problem that warranted immediate care. After visiting Dr. Ulerys office my fears have been completely allayed. All of them (Dr. Ulery, Dr. Carrion, the staff) were kind, understanding, and non-judgmental (I was very embarrassed to tell them how long its been since Ive seen a dentist). The most important thing is that they are ALL extremely competent. My treatment was fast, painless, and fear-free.I had a plaque hanging in my kids bathroom as encouragement to brush their teeth when they were young (it was cuter than it sounds).... It said:If you ignore your teeth theyll go away! Guess I should have personally paid more attention to that wall art.Thats now changed. Because of my very positive experience with Dr. Ulerys practice I have made a commitent to take better care of my teeth now and for the foreseeable future. In my opinion, theyre the best!

I would not recommend them. I had a root canal and crown done by them, which became infected almost immediately. My husband and I both continued having mouth pain, and they said nothing was wrong. We went to another dentist which revealed I have a filling that came out which is now infected and they will attempt to do a root canal. My husband also has a crack in his tooth which has been infected. I’m not sure why the Dental office told us nothing was wrong.

This is the quickest Dentist office! Out of my last 3 appointments, I’ve waited a total of 10 minutes in the waiting room. This is unheard of in the medical world. They value your time!I saw Dr. Scott Ulery. He went above and beyond my expectations. Such a nice guy. He really knows his stuff.

Not A Good Experience - office is dark and wait times are long, even with an appt. Cleaning was done in a closet facing the hallway where everyone can watch you. Had a filling put in and had severe pain afterwards. Was told that the tooth needed a crown. Found a new dentists that was able to put in filling correctly with no issues. Would not recommend this office.

My wife and I move in 2002 and Ulery Dental was one of Kaiser Permentente participating dentists. We have always had great service, kind and sympathetic resolutions of dental problems. I have had two bridges and the third was on two implants. He is fair, honest, stands behind his work, and comes up with cost effective ideas. Unfortunately we moved again and we drive over a hour to get his quality service.

The staff is very professional. All the ladies and doctors are super nice.

I look forward to coming to the dentist and actually laugh while getting my teeth cleaned (without alighting gas)!!!

Dr Burns is amazing. She really takes the time to explain everything to you, especially if you’re a nervous dentist-goer like me. She’s patient, gentle, and caring. I would recommend her to anyone. She’s really great.Dental hygienist Steve (don’t know his last name!) is also fantastic. Even cleanings can be uncomfortable for some people but he goes above and beyond to make sure you’re okay. His personality also puts you at ease because he’s such a kind and funny guy.I see a lot of comments about the front desk customer service but I’ve never had an issue. I know they only schedule 3 months out, which can be kind of a pain, but I always set a calendar reminder to call and make an appointment. I think they also send you reminder post cards. If you see Dr Burns or Dental Hygienist Steve, it’s totally worth any trouble scheduling.

I saw Dr. Ulery today and I cannot stop looking at my teeth! I went in for a long overdue cleaning & exam. Everyone treated me like I was a regular well-known patient and were very friendly & personable. Dr. Ulery was able to clean off some very discolored fillings on my front top teeth that Ive been very self conscious about for a long time, and file down another tooth so my front teeth appear more even. Steve also did a wonderful job with my cleaning, and was patient with me needing to take a few breaks because my gums are sensitive after waiting so long between visits. This is only my 2nd time here, and the 1st visit was 2 years ago and Im just as impressed as I was then!

I came in yesterday as emergency and the staff was pretty good, and Dr. Ulery was so compassionate, and he guided me on what to regarding my dental situation, and they got me in good another appointment the very next day which will be today. He is willing to try n work with me financially, and he just makes me feel super comfortable all together. I referred a friend of mine the very same day. I joke things continue to go this way because its hard to find a good dentist now adays but so far so good. I only gave them a 4 star because Ive only had 1 appointment, throughout time hopefully I can change that to a 5 star. Im not gonna lie, all the bad reviews really made me nervous but I gave them a shot anyway, n so far Im glad.

I am in good hands with Ulery Dental. I had implants put in about a year ago, but they come loose enough to cause pain. I called the Crofton Office and Dr Scott Ulery saw me right away; he was able to relieve the pain by tightening the implants. He also measured me for replacements crowns, order them and will install them when they arrive in a couple of weeks all free of charge. Hes an excellent Dentist, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the level of care and service he is providing. Thank you Dr. Ulery.

I’ve been going to this place for years until i realized that they weren’t doing a very good job. I used to feel very comfortable with this company and trusted them. They continued to drill into my tooth when I was signifying I was in pain, they could not get my mouth numb two days in a row, and they incorrectly put a crown on my tooth Year’s ago that I am just now finding out from my new dentist and will cost me a ton for their mistake. The offices I went to were Laurel and Crofton... here is some back story!!I remember a Susan, have been seeing her for years. She is bad news. Always talking and acts sketchy. I heard her talking about patients and their business out loud before.. you can tell just by that, that this place is bad news. A so called manager, gossiping with employees? At the front desk? Gross.Then a doctor at Laurel, Dr.Parks I think. He is money hungry and a little childish in my opinion. He seems like he aims to please his boss, but at what extent? Telling patients they need such and such just so he can get more money.. When he talks to you it’s as if he is unsure of what he is doing or what you need. If you’ve gotten work here, I’d get a second opinion elsewhere! Just go elsewhere all together!Not to mention at the Laurel office there was a Russian lady. I could hear her yelling at the other employees. And treating them harshly! So loud that other people could hear her. Patients.. I wasn’t the only one to question such behavior. What kind of business what’s to employee those kind of people? I don’t care how long you’ve been working for me. I would NEVER allow that to happen. The doctor was so pathetic, he did nothing about it when I mentioned how unprofessional that was..A few months ago there was this sweet, sweet black girl working at the front desk there. I remember her because her name was close to mine. Nia or Nira... but I was telling her about this situation and asked for the name of the Russian Lady. Her name is Svetana I believe.. Here it is months later, I’m just finding this review page because I found out the sweet receptionist that was helping me quit and left! ! I absolutely loved her and to see her gone, I just KNEW something was up with this place. She was the most kindhearted, sweet, and helpful person I had ever met. So, it really disturbed me to see her gone. I asked what happened and no one had a response.. although this was months ago, I vividly remember everything that happened and went on there, because it’s the worse I had ever seen in a place of business... I’m glad that poor girl left! She probably didn’t want to deal with them anymore, and I don’t blame her!!Find another dental office. You will be treated better somewhere, anywhere else. And to know this place treats employees bad is another reason not to go here!!

My husband and I have been coming here for 4 years. The hygienist, Steve, is awesome. Within the last year their wait time and scheduling has become unbearable. Last year my husband and i scheduled our appts together as we always do and it was a 45 minute wait in between his and my cleaning. More then normal, but it was manageable. This last appt I sat in the office for one hour and twenty minutes after my husband was done. The receptionist told me that this is just how scheduling works even though we made our appt 6 months in advance with the idea of them being back to back. I ended up leaving and will find another practice.It seems like the customer service and general attitude of the office has gone down within the last year.

Dr. U is a life saver! I came in as an emergency for extreme tooth pain and was seen right away, was given a treatment plan and budget ways to save some money! He had Dr. Steinberg get me in same day for a Root Canal and crown fitting. I was in and out and fixed within 3 hours. Couldnt be more thankful for this team! They also take their time to make sure you are 100% comfortable and in no pain. I highly recommend this practice! Thanks guys!

Dr. Ulery and his staff are 5 stars!!! I feel like the only patient they have have. Dr. Ulery did a crown today and must have asked me ten times if I was ok. Im not dentist shy either. They put me on a reasonable payment plan and worked with my other physician. Kudos to his staff, Lori, also.

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. First time going and last time. I normally don’t write reviews let alone bad ones, but my experience was too bad not to share with others about this place. I had made an appointment 2 months in advance for cleaning and they informed me there wasn’t an appointment ever set for me so I made another. I went in at my appointment time, receptionist was so rude but gave me paperwork. After sitting in waiting area for over an hour, I asked reception how much longer and she informed me “since I was late, you’re going to have to wait...”excuse me but I was on time not to mention my first appointment I made was never even documented in the books! I go back and get my teeth cleaned and it was so rushed and never before has a cleaning hurt that bad. I will absolutely never be back here. So awful from start to finish.

To be honest this place is trash stay away! They put in my implant and I had to way 8 months then they said they could not put in the crown so they took the implant out and refunded me my money, the dentist who put in my implant apparently MOVED during those 8 months! lucky I didnt sue this place

My experience with Dr. Reza was amazing. He is a very concerned and sympathetic orthodontist. I have an amazing smile now! The only reason i dont give Ulery Dental a five star is because when i lost my retainer last week i called the main office and they were rude and wouldnt consult me without paying my last bill! which was only around 400. Very rude. Other than that Dr. Reza was a sweetheart.

Had a root canal done and the doctor missed a canal after a 6 HOUR PROCEDURE. I am now jumping through hoops to have this fixed in another state. Unless you want years of pain, never ever go here.

For someone that has always been leery of going to the dentist, this place was great. I discovered a hole in my wisdom tooth, they fit me in with little notice and the extraction was quick and painless. Professionalism was an understatement.

Nope, this place is not getting my service. I am new to the Crofton area and needed to find a dentist. I was literally left on hold for 15mins ( I wish I could post the screenshot of the phone call). Needless to say I hung up from being on hold for so long and called back only to be out through to their calling center and the lady who answered was extremely rude! I expected good customer service and it was trash. Why would I allow anyone to dig into my mouth when they do not even respect me as potential new client?! I do recommend this dentist office whatsoever.

Dr. Reza Ghajarnia is wonderful, kind and professional! Dr. Reza took such good care of my daughter Ava. Ava got her braces about 2 years ago and now has the most beautiful smile. Dr. Reza was extremely thorough with Avas treatment. Thank you Dr. Reza for making Avas experience exceptional. The office in Pasadena seems to be well managed, nice staff and very flexible with appointments.

Office used to be managed well back in 2012-2014. Since then Ulery Dental has hired incompetent Dentists, useless and lazy office assistants who cannot process basic records release forms. The only professional in the building is the hygienist who deserves 5*s. Dentists push unnecessary X-Rays (only needed once per year or two instead of EVERY VISIT), bill $60 for hygene cleaning instructions that were printed on a paper, and continually recommend costly, invasive procedures.EDIT: Aug 2018 - 4* service from Dentist in Crofton office installing bridge. I absolutely love this office! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Front desk staff are awesome. I started here as an ortho patient for braces. Loved it so much, dr Reza was amazing. I went on to get my wisdom teeth out here and now it’s my dentist office too. I highly recommend the crofton office!

NEVER USE ULERY DENTALPlease take your business and most importantly your teeth to someone that cares!I had major dental work done at Ulery Dental last year. I was quoted that the entire process would cost about $6,000 and my insurance would cover about half that. In the end the everything cost me $10,000 plus. I didnt get upset about this because I know how insurance works and it is hard to understand the full cost of everything going thru that process, but today I went into Ulery Dental because the new tooth (I had a tooth implant) was cracking in the back. I spoke with Dr. Ulery in person about this. He examined my tooth and said it was not cracked. When I disagreed, he said it was cracked but it was not a problem. He then told me that the Dentist that did the work no longer worked for him and I should take my tooth to him. He said that it was basic practice that the dentist is responsible for the work and that he would not help me anymore. I asked him if he was not going to stand behind his work and he told me to leave.I urge you to take your families to another dentist office. I could overlook the dirt, dust and spider webs in the waiting room. I could overlook being overcharged. But to know that the work done to my mouth was done wrong and will not be fixed. I understand that they have to make money, we are talking about your health care and the only teeth you have.

Ive been left on hold for 20 minutes. Ive left after having work done and been in more pain, i was left with a void/hole between a filling, ended up with a dental abcess, had an appointment for two weeks that i paid 100 dollar deposit on, only to show up being told i dont have an appointment. Some of the people here know whats theyre doing. I felt some of them took me seriously but majority of them seem to just be going through the motions. Im not impressed and pretty disappointed after dropping thousands of dollara and still being left in pain.

The absolute worst dental practice Ive ever had. They are unbelievably rude, and have no respect for your time. I learned a valuable lesson after being told I couldnt be seen because of an oustanding bill that I had no knowledge of. Walked in for a cleaning and unbeknownst to me im being made aware of an alleged bill that I havent seen. The staff member who claimed to be the manager, inform me its a bill from a service I received 6 months ago. I had several appointments between the the 6 month period and not one mention of a overdue balance was mentioned and I was rudely told by a Manager (Amanda) you need to contact billing in Florida but, its policy sorry. Well policy just loss you a patient. Its evident they dont care or value their patients. She basically called me a liar and told me you can leave because you owe us money. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE NOT WORTH THE HASSLE OR THE DISRESPECT.

I can only comment on my personal experiences here. I have had no issues here. I had a root canal done in Annapolis by Dr. Berman. and the rest of it done at Ulery. The staff is great and courteous. I dont have anything negative to say about them. The root canal I would recommend going to Dr. Berman all day! The best experience with any dental work ive ever had.

I went to my appointment at the Crofton office, only to find that it was closed. I was never contacted regarding the office closing early due to snow.

Severe extreme pain so much so I was doubled over. Later learned of a major gum infection. Went to Ulery Dentist in Crofton and they made me wait over 2 hours. Despite informing of my extreme pain they would not let me see a dentist. After complaining The girl at desk said I could potentially have to wait until 3 or 4 P m until a dentist was free from patients with appointment. This was at 1130 after getting there at 9. Now I know I didnt have an apt. But really, very little compassion. They saw how bad so was hurting. So I quit them and will never go back. Its just a money factory. Your just a name and number. No personal attention. Im using a local Mom and Pop single dentist practice now. He is compassionate towards my pain, saw me right away without an apt. And took care of me. If you dont care about customer service and want to be treated like cattle along an essembly line, then by all means use Ulery, but if you want to be treated with compassion, NEVER USE ULERY.

THREE horrible experiences. I could probably write a few pages about all of the things that went wrong, but not wasting my time on this completely incompetent business. Take it or leave it, but youve been warned.

Just had a root canal done here by their root canal specialist, Dr. Steinberg. I like that they have a dentist whos done thousands of root canals performing the procedure. The only pain I had was when he put the needle in to numb me and that was just a pinch.

I have been a patron of Ulery Dental for years, and have been consistently pleased/satisfied with their services, professionalism, and overall wonderful demeanor. Furthermore, they provide a wide range of dental services at fair pricing, which makes them really a “one stop for most things dental.” I travel over 20 miles one-way to their office and am happy to do so.
