Went there 1st time; guy did an amazing job! He was quick and you could tell he knew what he was doing. . Went back on Friday for a fill... Worst experience ever. Started off with a guy who kept running the machine off my finger and under my nails. He made a face every time I said ouch. He then laid it on one spot and burned my nail bed. He just said oh its ok. I literally yelled ouch! Then the lady Jennifer (who I dont know if she is the owner but seems like it) took over because she finished a customer. She was just as bad. And when I complained about being burned, she said, Oh you are too sensitive. To which I replied. No he burned me already, and now you are going over it and burning me too.....I will NEVER go back to this shop again. I dont even do my nails that much, but for sure will not be going back here again.

I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years now. Jennifer is the best! The service is top notch and I am always very satisfied. I had been going to a friend in her home but when she quit I had a very hard time finding a place. Jennifer and Nelson speak excellent English so we can communicate with each other which is very nice. That was the problem at the other places I tried. No one really understood what I was wanted to have done. They have an excellent work ethic and Jennifer will help you get exactly what you want. I have seen some beautiful creations!

The service there was amazing! As soon as you walk in they require you to wash your hands and they are actively sanitizing all of their surfaces and items they are using. Jennifer did my nails and they look amazing. Im very satisfied here and would 100% recommend a friend. The best I have seen a nail business adjust to the pandemic.

First of all my nails are uneven. SECOND of all my acrylic paste is uneven underneath the tips. THEN he (the new guy) kept messing up my nails and tried to blame me for it. and then HE DIDNT GET THE NAIL POLISH edge to edge. then he hurt my nail a couple times. THEN when they asked if i wanted no chip. I TOLD THEM NO because i had no money for it. They basically took it amongst themselves to do a no chip when i said otherwise. THEN HAD THE NERVE to charge me for the no chip. THEN they kept forcing for a tip... tip is for good work and communication. Ive been there before... THIS. WASNT. THE. FIRST. TIME!

Always am 100% satisfied my nails are always beautiful and I always get compliments. Jennifer always makes great suggestions on color and designs.

Took the elderly gentleman that I care for in for a pedicure, nails were long overgrown due to failing health and fear of Covid.. They worked with extra care and took extra time to make sure he was comfortable and that all of his tornails were taken care of properly.. also very reasonably priced!

Queenie was super nice and did a fantastic job on my nails. It was quiet and calm when I came in which I liked and they werent crowded either. The only thing that I disliked was that they were leaving the front door slightly open and I kept having a fly and a bee flying around me, landing on my arms and hands, and flying in my hair. It was really awkward that I had to keep swatting bugs away.But other than that, the service was great and hopefully the next time I come back they wont be leaving the door open and I wont have to worry about bugs.

Nelson and Jennifer are so sweet. They stayed well past closing to make sure my dip powder manicure was perfect.

This shop was open when I needed them the most, Jennifer fixed my jacked up nails that another shop did and she did a MARVELOUS job omg. This Nail spa is the cleanest business I’ve visited this year since the virus. She sprays down the door knobs and all the chairs before and after each customer and she makes appointments so it’s never crowded and no wait!!!! I’m in love I’ll be here every time and she has promotions if you plan to come back. Thank you God for her. May your business and family be blessed and safe during these times.

The customer service was amazing! jen my nail tech was super thorough with my gel full set and made sure that i was happy with everything before leaving the salon. every step of the service was made sure that it was what i wanted before moving on. super clean and responsible w COVID19 policies. def will be my new nail salon for future services!

Had a gel manicure done. One Manicurist would get up from chair to watch tv or talk to customers while client sat in middle of manicure. My manicurist use the power file to remove my previous gel manicure and even after it was off, continued to use. Several times I had to say it was hot. My manicure lasted one day before it started peeling. The polish was too thick especially at the tips of my nails. I could feel it. Sadly, my nail polish peeled off and I could see and feel the uneven part of the nail beds where it was sanded down too much. Nail is super thin in places. I have now tried 3 nail salons in the area and have yet to find a good nail salon. I am going to try two other recommendations.

Jenny does fabulous work. She is a true artist on a tiny canvas. If I show her a picture of what I want she has always been able to not only do it, but make it even better. Also Nelson gives the best pedis. My favorite nail salon ever.

We’ve come here for years and the service USED to be EXCELLENT however the last three times I’ve been there, I’ve gotten nothing but attitude. Helen is always late and rude, Jennifer glues the nail tips to your skin and tells you that’s the way they go on- if you ask her to shape your nail into anything other than square she will complain, the only thing good at this place is Nelson! He was great at pedicures. Take your business to Julies nails and ask for Jackie !!!!

This is the best nail salon in the area! They offer no chip and my personal favorite, dipping powder. The service is amazing and if you want a design, just ask. Everyone is friendly and just wants to give you the best experience. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!

It shouldn’t even get a 1 star horrible service nails had different shapes! When I tried to tell the lady she kept pulling my hand insisting she knew what she was doing left glue on my hands 2 days later nails started breaking! Please stay away from this place!

I had my eyebrows microbladed (tattooed) yesterday by Jenny and I am so glad I finally did it. She was recommended to me by another satisfied customer. I was a bit of a drive for me, but well-worth my time. She took quite a bit of time before she started to make sure I was going to get the color and shape that would suit my face. It was painful toward the end, but it was tolerable during the final touch ups. It was a little cheaper than other places I had gotten prices from, so thats even better. I cant wait to see the true results after two-week healing.

This nail salon is so different from the everyday neighborhood nail shops. They are extremely customer friendly. They make it a point to get to know their customers. Nelson gives the best pedicures in the world. Prices are great especially for the value you get. The place is always clean and a warm feeling. I won’t be going any place else.

My first instinct was to give this place less stars because the first lady who did my nails was absolutely horrific my nails were jagged uneven the hombre was blotchy... Jennifer saw my nails and told me not to leave that she would fix them for me which I thought was going to be impossible but she did an amazing job and I would recommend this place but I would only recommend seeing Jennifer she is absolutely amazing and a miracle worker!!

Let me start off by saying that the ladies here are so so SO nice! Theyre all incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. If I could rate every part of a business separately on here they would get 5 stars for how nice they all were. However, the reason my star rating is so low, is because of the quality of the nails. Unfortunately, for me they fall below acceptable. The second day after I got them I noticed what looked to be pockets of air at the bottom of the nails, towards the cuticle. The tips were not flat on my real nail, creating space between the two. There are bubbles, and parts where its not shiny because some parts got missed by the gel coat. The last thing that I noticed was that the gel didnt go all the way to my cuticle, so only a short few days after getting them done it looked like I needed a fill. Unfortunately I could not get a fill because of the space between my natural nail and nail tip, so I had to get them completely taken off and new ones put on. It caused a bigger expense then needed be which is the reason I wrote this review. If I lived closer I would have came back and talked to them about it but sadly I was just visiting the area, and I got my nails done here on my last day. Once again the ladies in here were all so lovely, but I did check the reviews before stopping in, and this is the review I really wish I would have seen.

I love to come to the shop because you always get a warm smile when you walk through the door they care about their customers and they do good quality work and very reasonably priced. J Nails and Spa in Crest Hill gets 5 stars from me. My nails have never looked better my daughter n law says she has found the place shes been looking for. Im very impressed with the permanent make-up. I didnt know what micro blading was but my brows are fabulous!! Also the little difference in how Jennifer does the eyeliner really makes my eyes stand out. I would drive out of my way to go to J Nails and Spa. Im always customer for life!!

I went to get my eyebrows tattooed yesterday. It was amazing. I cant get over how much it looks like hair. I had alot of bald spots...not anymore, I love it. I only wish I knew how to post pictures of them on here. Thanks so much Jennifer, you did a great job!!!

I walked in, no appointment, for a no chip manicure on a Saturday morning of homecoming week and they were very friendly. I was seated quickly and Nelson did a very great job. Very meticulous and detailed. Highly recommended!

Jennifer did an amazing job. It was 9:40am and I had to pick up my child from school so she got me out of there by 10:15am and she helped me get in my car with all my belongings. Definitely I recommend you go with Jennifer.

First time going in and right away felt welcomed. Jennifer took her time to get my nails perfect with the design I wanted even though it was past the closing time by the time she was done doing them, she made sure I was happy with my nails..

I wasted two hrs of my day to get acrylics. Later on that day doing a simple task of oppening a drawer a few of my nails broke off. I went back the next day to get them fixed. More nails broke later that day. Never again. I rarely get my nails done because of disappointments like this.

Horrible experience with Jennifer, the owner. Felt she was being mean and to a point, evil. First, she pulled hard on my great toes during the pedicure and caused pain. Then, she never massaged my feet at the end. She never cut the cuticles of my fingers during the no-chip manicure. She barely left my hands in the UV machine and stated that she never does. I ended up with clumps of nail polish on the tips. Never received a hand massage at the end. She lied and said that is why she charges less. I had been there long ago and received hand massage. I regret returning and clearly will never ever return. Received mediocre service from owner. I would hope she changes her attitude and treats all customers equally the same. Worst experience ever! If I could give zero stars, I would.

Love the staff here! This salon does EVERYTHING. From manicure and pedicures to eyebrow tinting, facials and massages! Very cozy and clean. A big plus is they always have holiday raffle prizes!

Got my nails done last week on Tuesdays, went away for the holiday weekend and while there at least 3 out of the 10 chipped. Called in to see if they can fix them and she sais yes but I have to come in this week (mind you I work from 10-9 everyday). Made her aware of this ans all Jen said was, If you wait another week I will charge you because it will be the 2nd week she had me text her pictures to prove that I was not lying and she came back saying, you must of been doing something and broke your nail in half, my work is perfect and that couldnt of happened! 😑😑😑

BAD SERVICE. I came here as a last resort to get my nails done and within 3 days the acrylic tips broke off! My job is typing is mainly typing on the computer, that should have not happened. I came in and the woman who did my nails acted like she did not remember me and tried to charge me for 2 nails of nail polish when initially I made the mistake of spending $100 here! She yelled at me in front of the whole salon and is talking about me to all customers! If I could avoid even 1 STAR I WOULD. What a sad excuse of a salon! Save your money and time for people who can actually communicate at LEAST properly. Never coming back, dumpster of a place.

I have been going to J. Nail spa for at lease 8 years or more, and even tbough i have moved from Romeoville i still come back for my nails and pedicures. Everyone is very nice and personable. They will go out of there way to please u. The pricing can be flexable. The shop is very clean and instruments are sterilized after each us. Jennifer is very creative. She makes beautiful designs. My mom is 91 years old and does not walk really good and she moves slow, and Nelson has very has very good patients with her and i truly appreciate that. Every one in the shop treat her good, and did i say they do a very good job. The best. Thumb up!😊

Definitely a hidden gem. The ladies here are so friendly and helpful. I have gone here for years and they do the best eye brow wax, pedicure messages and no chip manicures. Jennefer even does eyebrow microblading and facials! They are sanitary which is the most important part about a nail shop. Best in the Romeoville IL area!

This was my first time here because my normal place was booked and so I thought I would try it and I had an appointment this past Saturday at 10am and I got home and later in evening went out for dinner and I broke one of my nails and I called the place to let them know and I couldn’t get it done until Monday morning cuz they were closed and so I went in this morning and she didn’t it and she charged me $4 usually if a nail breaks the same day u get them done then they usually don’t charge u. So I didn’t have a good experience here. I don’t recommend this place.

J Nails and Spa is literally the BEST spa around! Jennefer is truly an artist. I go to Jennefer for facials (which are so relaxing that I practically fall asleep), eyelash extensions, no-chip manicures and pedicures. I also just had my eyebrows microbladed by Jennefer and she did an exceptional job. Im thrilled with the results! My eyebrows havent looked this good in 10 years! Jennefer makes sure youre absolutely happy with whatever service is performed, which equals great customer service! Ive also had pedicures and manicures done by Nelson and Diane who are both wonderful too! The salon is clean, comfy and accommodating. Love you guys!

I stopped there yesterday just to get my toe nails polished nothing else the lady tried selling me a pedicure and manicure I told her no thank you I do not have the time today she went on telling me why I should have pedicure I again firmly said no thanks again after sitting down she proceeded to speak on her phone in her native language while painting my nails how rude is that !!! She never made any attempt to converse with me I felt very uncomfortable and like I was in a different country to top it off when I asked how much I owed she said $12.00 when I handed her my card she Stood there waiting to see if I was adding tip on card HOW RUDE you are definitely over priced rude and unprofessional this is America not your native country and it is extremely ignorant on your part to speak in a different language in front of the customer who is paying you with American money I have been here before and it was the same thing even the television was on a foreign channel I will NEVER patronize your business again 😡😡😡😡😡

The first time i went in there was the night before new years. It was a very nice environment with great vibes! Everyone was super friendly the guy wuo did my nails took his time and did a beautiful job on my no chip. The employees where talking to the customers and explaining different things. The only thing i dont like is it seems like theor product is alittle on the cheeper side. Just 5 days after getting my no chip, its chipped off two different fingures. But it is a very friendly place. I might give it one more shot!
