I am very pleased with my experience at Roman jewelers. The owner vlad was helpful and committed to making sure my wedding band was perfect. The finished product was beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I’d recommend him.

Mike was wonderful to work with while picking out my fiances engagement ring. He was nothing but professional and helpful, and I would recommend this location to anyone looking to buy from a non-Zales location. Ive also had great experiences selling old unwanted jewelery.Regarding all the negative reviews about this place, Vlad, while quiet, is a great person to deal with. Negative reviews sound like people trying to take advantage of a small business owner and got rejected. This is a jewelry store, not a pawn shop. Grow up, people. Grandmas ring might not be worth as much as you think it is, regardless of your sentimental attachment to it :)

Vlad created a new wedding band using my late Grandmothers diamonds and matched my engagement diamond.... absolutely gorgeous. I get many, many compliments on the rings. Thank you so much Vlad!!!

I recently purchased a new diamond band from Roman Jewelers and could not have been more pleased with my experience with Vlad and Mike. I have visited other jewelry stores in the past and never found another store that I trusted like Roman Jewelers. Their service and craftsmanship is second to none. They have top-quality gem stones.Vlad and his staff are honest, knowledgeable, & nice people. You do not feel pressured for the sale, like I have felt at other places. I really appreciate how they conduct business. They even polished and inspected my engagement ring for me. Thank you for such a great experience, I love my ring!

Visited Roman Jewelers to get a price on upgrading my diamond earrings, that they appraised a year ago for $3400.00, But according to Vlad, was only worth $600, yet the same tw stud earrings in his case where priced over $5000.00. He spoke to me and treated me like I was a peon. Like I was wasting his time. I will never go back to that place nor will I ever recommend them. Not friendly and misleading radio commercials!

I’ve been a regular customer at Roman Jewelers for several years. The service is exceptional and they are always professional and courteous. I always feel confident and trust Vlad whenever I come across some jewelry I haven’t worn in years. I trust Vlad without any doubt and I have sent many of my friends and family over to Roman Jewelers.Every time, every customer is always amazed at the service and the amount they receive from Vlad.

Strongly Recommend You AVOID THIS PLACE!Went there back in January 2018 with my sister to sell our recently deceased mothers costume jewelry. As the woman assessed the pieces, I asked questions as to how she was determining which pieces contained gold or were silver, simply for my own education. She wasnt very clear or vague in her responses - even though I pressed for better understanding. In the end, we sold the pieces for about $175 but for some reason I felt wed been low-balled but I left it at that.Today my wife and I went there to get an estimate on repairing a gold chain of hers that had broken. We also had some other pieces that we bought elsewhere that were supposed to be gold but were tarnished and we didnt understand why. This time some guy works there looked over the pieces. Without bothering with too much detail, the guy was extremely disinterested, rude and condescending to us. Dont know what his problem may be but based on other reviews, sounds like it might be the same guy.So heed the advice for other reviewers - AVOID THIS DUMP!

Brought in a diamond ring that was from 1920’s. First the guy said he would give me $500 and I said no. Then he offered $600. Said no and left. Called them back to take the $600 offer and he said I never offered $60. Mins you I had a friend with me that witnessed the whole thing. I will NEVER EVER go back there again.

Stay Away! I went to roman jewelers to sell my diamond ring. and some other gold items i no longer need. I know the value as I purchased the diamond a few years ago and also had it appraised by a jeweler. The diamond is worth over $12,000. Roman Jewelers said is was worth $400. but they can pay me $500 if I sell it today. They said they had a customer that was looking for my kind of diamond and they would sell to them today for $650.Thank God I did not fall for it.I just wanted to warn people about this place. I really think everyone should know.I also sent a letter to the Attorney General.

The place looked deserted...if it werent for the very large, obnoxious paper OPEN sign, we would have thought it was closed. Inside, there were one, maybe two items in each case...it was not a good sign. I was barely greeted by a man with NO personality or demeanor...showed him my ring, and he asked me what I wanted for it - I told him what it was purchased for....$4000....he said he couldnt even give me $1000....In an attempt at being light-hearted, I said well at least its pretty, someone is bound to buy it from you!....he replied dryly, who?I was mortified! He then said it really has no substance...I seriously couldnt reply, that just added insult to injury.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE - not only will you not get close to what you would take a hit on...the guy will insult you too.

Vlad has to be the most vile salesperson I have ever encountered in all of my years of shopping. Clearly, in reading the other reviews, Im not alone in this sentiment. I cant recall a time I was treated worse. Just a nasty piece of work. His wife is also miserable and depressing, and Id dealt with her previously on a couple of repairs. Not fun experiences, but dealing with Vlad was the last straw. I brought in a world-class paraiba tourmaline to be set in a diamond and 18k white gold ring setting. From start-to-finish, it was a wholly demoralizing experience. Not only was I dissatisfied with the quality of the work, but I was talked to like a dog for what should have been a simple, pleasant transaction. I never even told them I was disappointed, as I just wanted to get out of there and never return. Not sure why they have such an air about them, because their stock isnt anything to write home about. Vlad tried to sell me on a pink topaz ring, which was junk (it was coated to create the pink color... worthless). And yet he treated my valuable paraiba like trash. Roman Jewelers is the trash. Avoid this place at all costs. So many other reputable jewelers in this area (the family who owns Yepremian Jewelers is lovely). Not sure how these losers stay in business!

I brought some gold here to sell. I did not like the way I was treated. The man took my jewelry in the back room, as I waited for what seemed like forever. When he brought my jewelry back out to me and gave me the price. I got a bad feeling, first of all, he would not look me in the eye. And the offer just seemed to be very low. I did not sell, I just wish I knew of a place I can trust to sell my Jewelry to.

I found the person I saw there to be rude and condisending, as most of these places are.i brought in a beautiful ring with a gold braided setting with diamonds in the center and sapphires around them . Brilliant clarity! The ring was appraised at 1500.00 when first purchased about 15 years ago. The man at Roman looked at it with an expression like he was looking at a piece of junk and said ah, no one wears gold and it will only be melted down. Like he was speaking to an idiot! He never even bothered to weigh it! And offered me 100. Like he was doing me a favor. I said no thanks and left. I was highly insulted at his comments and would never go back!

I also heard the ad on the radio. These people are terrible. I brought my Grandmothers 60 year old gold 1k & 1/4 diamond ring in to see what they would offer me. I had the ring appraised ten years ago and it was worth 5k. Its a beautiful sentimental piece. I was not interested in selling it or never will. However, I was curious since the market value for gold has gone up. The tall guy behind the counter I think his name is Mike was so rude and condescending I wanted to walk out before I even got a quote. He said, This is not something we would want to buy, and put it down on the counter. Then he proceeded to look at the other junk gold i had and went to weigh it and came back and offered some silly low price. I could not believe it I was in shock. I went to my guy who I love and he made a great offer on the gold I didnt want. This just proves its the little guy who always comes through. Hes on the corner of Park and Gansett Avenue Continental Coin and Jewelery. The owner is a really nice guy! He deserves the business more then these snobs.

I went to Roman Jewelers shopping for a gift for my sisters birthday.I was in the store for 20 minutes. The guy working at the store was taking on the phone and it sounded like he was talking to a buddy of his, not a business call. I was never acknowledged and i left the store. Needless to say I will not be back!!!
