Unfortunately my experience was less than satisfactory this time. I have made purchases here in the past and was ready to make another. I walked in and was the only one in the store. The lady said Fred would be out to help me. Well I waited for a few minutes (not a problem). Some other guy walks in and Fred goes to help him right away leaving me standing there. Didnt look at me Didnt ask me if I needed help or at the very least ask who was FIRST in line. Had a pocket full of cash and had the intention of leaving there with the Explorer ii. I wont be back. Sorry, not Sorry Fred.

He switched my diamonds to cubic zirconia. Run!! I have a before and after photo. He had my ring for a month to be sized. My mom just passed and left me this ring. . He must have needed the diamonds for a watch. My big bad taking it to him. Another jeweler confirmed they are fake. Why would I lie? How could you do this Fred?

If you need work done on a high end mechanical watch, Fred is the only man for the job. Im a watch collector and I gave him a seven year old, scratched up Rolex that had stopped working and in a matter of weeks he returned a repaired watch that looked as if it had just left the factory. He even insisted on pressure testing it in front of me so he could ensure I knew the watch passed. His quote for the repair was dead-on. Im from the deep south where a handshake and looking a man in the eye is what it takes to seal a deal and Fred is cut from the same cloth. If you value old school craftsmanship and honest, down to earth customer service look no further. Hes earned all my future watch work and he deserves yours too.

Great watch repair and customer service! I went to Delman Watch a few months ago after searching the greater providence area and getting several quotes to repair a long neglected 1950’s movado automatic that Has been in my family for three generations. Fred took great care of this family heirloom and got it back up and running like new in no time. Since then I’ve brought all my family’s watches to Fred for service and repairs. He replaced a missing crown on a vintage Rolex and refurbished it to like new condition. He also overhauled a tag heuer automatic that, despite several other repair attempts over the last 15 years, has never run on time. Fred got it running correctly and looking like new again. Fred’s prices are more than fair and the customer service I have received from his staff has been wonderful, even on smaller projects like ordering and replacing a leather watch band. The quality and value of his work has always exceeded my expectations.

I cannot thank enough Mr. Delman for an excellent job he have done. My favorite Cartier watches hasn’t work for about a year. Two other watchmakers I’ve show it were not capable to repair it. The friend of mine recommends me Mr. Delman and he did it! He calls me once the job was done and it took only a week. I dropped and broke my vintage Omega Seamaster and I brought it to a watch repair shop and the owner told me its going to be $1,000 to fix so I brought it to delman and the owner Fred told me it would be around $350 and its going to take a little while to get the parts. Well it took about 40 days which was really fast and why watch is running perfect. I would recommend delman watch to everyone Fred and the staff are fantastic at what they do

Mr. Delman was recommended to me by a friend who said he was an outstanding watchmaker especially when it came to high end watches. I had a Blancpain Flyback that was not keeping time. I was in NYC and the best estimate I got was for about $2,500 and it would take 2-3 months. I visited Mr. Delman and left my watch with him. Three weeks later, it was cleaned and over hauled and he even polished the case. $1,500. Keeping perfect time. I could not be happier.By the way, I found his staff to be very professional and knowledgeable.

This establishment is run by Frank Delman and I came here because I like to endorse local business. I needed a resizing of the metal bracelet on my Bulova chronograph. While the service was prompt, the class developed some minor issues. This immediately put the proprietor on the defensive, claiming that he hadnt touched that section of the bracelet. At this point, let me state that $20 for bracelet resizing is not cheap. At this price point, I expect the expert to problem-solve along with me and restore my watch to its pristine functionality. Sadly, this never happened, which is why I am loathe to try them again. I would much rather go to a Macys and get it done at a standard price, knowing that I can hold them accountable to the service.

Even with a model and manufacturer name they still wouldnt tell me a price to change the battery and reseal. Baffled. They want me to waste gas to get a price.

Fred was condescending. (Because the watch I asked him to fix was in the 50 dollar range) He then put off the work until the next day when I had to pick it up. He didnt even bother to set the right time on the watch for me. Im never going back.

It took them two and a half month to fix my watch, and when I got it back, the job that I paid for was not done. After contacting them, Fred refused to return the money and was very rude. Do not deal with them if you do not want to be aggravated.
