I am so impressed with Greg and his team. They truly went above and beyond for us. We had out basement which at the time was basically just a dark, concrete space turned into living quarters and APR did a beautiful job with the whole thing. The nice thing about Greg is that hes an excellent communicator. He really explains what is being done on your home and if any issues come up along the way hes always out in front of them and gives you the clearest timeline he can. I was recommended to American Platinum Remodeling when I was planning on having an additional room added to my house. We are having a baby and needed the extra room for a nursery. We met with Greg who not only was polite and professional but who also seemed very experienced. He went over everything with us and gave us a very reasonable quote for the job. We had them get right to work because we wanted the project done before the baby came. They were able to get the entire addition finished faster than we originally anticipated and did an amazing job making it seamlessly blend into our house. I dont think anyone would ever know that the room handnt been there all along. I had a couple of things I wanted changed after everything was said and done and Greg sent someone out right away to handle it. Greg has an awesome team who know exactly what theyre doing when it comes to remodeling. We had a small room added to the rear of our house that I could use as an art studio. The attention to detail was just amazing. They made sure that we were happy with their work and really hustled to make sure that the job was finished on schedule for us. Through the entire process every person we encountered from American Platinum Remodeling was amazing. They really helped give us exactly what we wanted. There were a couple of corrections we needed done after the work was finished but Greg was so graceous about it. I just wanted to take some time to thank Greg and his entire team for the beautiful renovation they did on my home. We needed an addional 450 square feet added onto our home and we definitely chose the right company for the job. Through the entire process they had excellent communication. I had American Platinum Remodeling redo my master bathroom. Ive owned the house for over 30 years so its needless to say that the bathroom was pretty ourdated. These guys came in and got right to work. They were always on time, they always cleaned up after themselves, and I never once had an unpleasant exchange with anyone. This company is so professional. Despite my assumption there would be bumps along the way this company finished everything on time and for a great price. I am so happy with my new bathroom and will definitely be using this team again in the future.

We hired American Platinum Remodeling to do our Kitchen and Bathroom renovations as well as an HVAC installation on our home. The service that we received was by far the most unprofessional experience that weve ever had with a contracting company. Pretty soon after we signed the contract with Gregory Donofrio (the owner) it became clear that there was absolutely no organization or plan put forth by Greg or his brother, Anthony, regarding how the work would proceed. We were promised blueprints/floorplans to show what the final design would look like but never received them. Workers would show up to our house without any work instructions or direction from either Greg or Anthony dictating what they were supposed to do. On one specific occasion the plumbers who came to our home informed us that they were told that we (the homeowners) would give them specific instructions.Prior to signing the contract Greg told us that the work would take approximately 3 months to complete. About 2 months into the renovation only the demo had been completed and the job was nowhere close to being finished.The final straw for us was when we found out from the building department of our town that Greg had not paid for or picked up the permits for the renovations (which we paid him to do, along with an additional payment due at permit pickup as per our contract payment schedule). They also told us that they had tried to reach out to Greg but had not received a response from him. As a result of this news we informed Greg that we no longer wished to continue with American Platinum for our home remodeling. Greg refused to refund any of the approximately $53,000 that we had paid to him by that time.

Before hiring these guys, I was swindled by a fraud contractor (named Joe Dias) who had caused a mess of my home with no intention of completing the job he was contracted to do. Anthony at American Platinum Remodeling stepped in and in ONE DAY, they fixed the mess that was left behind and completed the job to perfection. Look no further for your next remodel job- these are the guys to go with.

We hired Greg and his team to do a 1200 sq basement, adding a full bathroom. The project went smoothly despite all the delays waiting on certain materials. This was not the fault of the APR crew as I spoke to some of the suppliers myself. His entire crew and workers were so professional and extremely talented. The communication with the secretary and Greg were beyond my expectations. The final product they produced was amazing. Greg incorporated some of his own ideas and really gave our basement a amazing final look. Were so happy with the work and look forward to working with them again.

Occsionally, there were a few delays but they ended up finishing everything within about 2 weeks of the initial quoted date so I didnt think that was a big deal. APR was hired to build a extension on our home. This is a great company all around. They did everything they promised and than some. We kept communication with the owner Greg and his secretary for the duration of the project. Their responsiveness was exceptionally well and always eased any concerns I had during the project. We experienced delays with certain materials even though they were ordered ahead of time. We learned this to be a common issue in the construction world at this time in society. We’re beyond pleased with the finished product. After things we done Greg explained to us to make a “punch list” and assured us he would be back to touch up anything we needed. One thing we discovered about the owner is that he’s a man of his word. He came back and did everything we asked and more. This company made sure my family was always happy and wouldn’t settle for anything less. Great company and happy we hired them for our project.

I hired American Platinum Remodeling to do an ADU build. Overall, they are the best company we could have hired for the job. They delieved on everything we wanted and more. Greg was wonderful about keeping in regular communication with us so that we walways knew the status of the project. Any time I had questions or concerns during the build he was easy to get ahold of and more than willing to take the time to hear me out. There were a few delays however, this is something that happens a lot with construction projects because there are a lot of materials needed and there can be delays in the delievery of them. However, the reason Im keeping this review at 5 stars is because Greg always let us know when there would be delays and why. Greg and his team are very trutwrothy and they really made sure we were happy with their work. I am so glad that we decided to hire them.

Job Description: Complete gut and renovation of two 1-bedroom apartment units. I was pleased with the results. I would hire them again. Greg is easy to work with and has a good personality for this type of work. He remains calm and professional even when issues arise (as they will and do with any bigger construction project). You will be able to work through them with him. Pricing is fair and reasonable.

STAY AWAY from this this poor excuse for a contractor! He promised to have the apt building Im living in done in 6 months and stopped showing up or returning calls after 3 months. Left everything in shambles, destroyed the apartment I am living in - holes and cracks in every room of my apartment. Didnt do the roofing properly where I then had rain coming into my apartment. - If there was a way to give a negative star review, I would have done so.

I used this company for a investment property I purchased this year. The owner was very responsive and paid attention to every detail of the project. I called American Platinum Remodeling to provide a estimate for a basement renovation. We had to renovate a 1500sq basement, adding a kitchen and bathroom for my in laws. This was a grueling process trying to find the right contractor for the job. I met with Greg and I was immediately impressed. He was extremely responsive and knowledgeable when it came to my needs and desires. He provided a estimate within a few days and we came to a agreement a week later. Greg took the time to make drawings so I can see on paper what my investment would look like. The work started within a month and was finished in 3 months. I had NJ Homebuilder originally do my floors in my home, after coming home from vacation to the new floors warped and scratched, 25 holes throughout my home from ignorance of his staff. I fired them and higher American Platinum and Greg and his staff were amazing. Re did the entire floors by ripping out the new warped wood, replacing it and refinishing it, along with repainting my entire house, redoing shadow boxes and base molding that was damaged, also replaced 22 windows, all electrical outlets were replaced as refaced. They were never once late, always respectful of my time, worked nonstop until the job was completed, and by far the most friendliest group of guys I’ve ever had in my home to do work. These guys are the ONLY ones I will ever use moving forward!
