Went for my deep cleaning and ended up staying for other treatment and was surprised by how detailed and dedicated the staff was. After a long consult I was treated by Dr. Montilla and he made me feel good and safe during and after the procedure. Also he speaks Spanish which made a big difference to understand and make a decision. Definitely coming back! Extremely recommend.

I went to this office a couple of weeks ago. it was a great experience. The receptionist Izzy was friendly and very helpful. Then the dental assistant Sara was also very good. She took my x-rays and sat me at my chair. She made sure everything was ready for when the doctor arrived. She also did a great job with my cleaning. I felt like I had a radiant smile. Doctor Montilla was great! He was very thorough and explained everything very well. He was very professional and he even made me laugh. This is the kind of doctor you need in case you are nervous when coming to the dentist. Dr Montilla referred me to orthodontics for braces. The ortho team was able to see me that same day. That was amazing! They gave me a consult and I began the process to get Invisalign. I also got to meet the office manager Rocio. She was the one who explained the pricing. She was very detailed on what my insurance covered and what I needed to pay out of pocket. I had not been to the dentist in years afraid of having a horrible experience. I can say this is the best I have ever been treated. This team has excelled in customer service. Definitely my go-to team.

My very first visit was a pleasant one and today was exceptional!. The staff very friendly! And the dentist was very experienced and careful and skillful. In cleaning my teeth NO PAIN!

By far the worst dentist I have ever been to.My appointment was at 1pm and wasnt called back until 2:10. And that was just for the X-ray. The X-ray tech told me I won’t be able to be seen for at least an hour after cause the doctor has to grab lunch. She told me I should grab some lunch and come back… Also, the X-ray tech did not clean the X-ray machine between patients. There was dried blood on the machine!! When I brought it to her attention, she proceeded to tell me, “it’s not blood. It’s paint. They paint the walls here sometimes” mind you, there’s no red paint in the building at all. She also kept touching the mouse and the X-ray machine, then putting her hands in my mouth without changing her gloves. Come 3:15, I was finally called back to be seen by a dentist that was rude, didn’t take the time to listen to my situation, and said I’d have to wait an hour for treatment. I literally walked out. I wasn’t about to wait an hour (which would have been 4:30) when my appointment was at 1pm. Don’t waste your time here. They will literally waste your time. And to top it off, the doctor only gives you ten minutes of his time and is rude.

The entire staff at Dental Group of Covina were excellent from the front office staff to the back office staff. All of the staff Manifested, kind, caring, listening skills. I want to especially commend Dr. Montilla for his professionalism and for explaining all of the details of the dental procedures that he was about to perform on me. I repeat the words kind and caring because Dr. Montilla is an exceptionally gifted dentist. Thank you very much to the entire staff at Dental Group of Covina.

I had my first dental visit today. Staff at front desk Really nice and fríendly. Yes there was a wait, but after meeting Dr. Montilla it was worth it. He was thorough and very informative. I will be bringing my son to this place. 😊

I started coming here earlier this year and was able to get started right away with a treatment plan and was able to book appointments so easily. I didnt have to wait too long for the next step in my dental treatment plan which is nice when youre worried about something getting worse with time. The whole dental staff is really kind and accommodating and my dentist makes me feel very comfortable while all of the dental work is being done.

This place is so chaotic. The nurse who did my 8 year olds X-rays was struggling with the x ray machine and told me to push the button for her. We did over 8 X-rays this was something I have never been asked to do by any medical professional! My appointment was at 4 my daughter was having sever tooth pain. Was not seen until after 5 then was rushed by the dentist who saw her for less than 10 minutes. He told me she needs to see a specialist come back in 2 weeks. Mind you she is in sever pain. He said keep giving her pain meds until she is seen. An hour and half just to be told come back in 2 weeks and she needs to push through the pain? This was our First and last time coming here.

I went to a dentist appointment elsewhere and they said they couldnt do fillings or a cleaning until I removed my wisdom teeth with them but here at Dental Group of Covina they helped me with everything I wanted and needed for my teeth. They never stated that they couldnt do a procedure until I agreed to a more expensive procedure like the other Dentist had.

It was my first time at this office and the staff was helpful. I was able to get a same day appt! The provider gave me a detailed explanation of everything and even tips for preventative care. Really amazing staff and care!

I found the place but got lost but made it there right at 11:00am, but didnt get to see the dentist actually to work on my mouth until 3pm, waited for 4 hours to actually get the implant information and implant glued back on,, was anxiously waiting and got done and walked out of the dentist office at about 3:45pm wasnt sure what happened staff was polite and felt like I was ignored, a bit, but hung in there, going to try to make the best of it gave them three stars one for politeness, one for cleanliness, and a star for good work on my teeth, but felt anxiously waiting for a long time, did not knowing what happened, waited for an apology from actually the dentist, I loved the dentist office staff try to make the best out of a bad situation I think 🤔, but Im going to make this my dentist, and give them a chance to redeem them selves and trying to keep them anyway, I hope that next time I wont wait so long or that someone will step in and make sure that I will have better attention to be seen, anyways I gave them 3 stars,but was hoping that this wasnt going to be something I will have to make a bad situation better with this post, but myOver all, I liked that saw three movies, but frowned on the amount of your took to actually be seen by the dentist, but I think the first impression is three stars, never been in that office before, I was a new patient, and believe Im still giving them 3 still have them 3 stars Appointment was supposed to be at 11:00am, but I was happy they took me, hoping it only gets better for me, dentist was very nice 🙂 wish my 🥇 first impression is not one that Ill keep, hoping for a better day next time!

Went in for a 3 pm appointment got seen around 5 pm. It was confusing with back and forth people and information. Customer was arguing with the dentist in the back and it was getting loud for my minor who was next to her. I didnt like how they didnt let me go with my daughter most of the time so even with it being her first time at a dentist in a while and nervous I was not allowed to sit with her. I was not very happy. I gave it a one because the staff was some what nice.

Even if you have an appointment you will wait hours to be seen. Completely unnecessary. They over book patients to the max. Often only have 1 dentist available to see patients. The nurses and ladies at the front desk will tell you what you want to hear even if its not true when you bring up issues with the office. I would recommend finding another dentist.

Despite having to care for my crown installation due to a complication with my appointment at the Baldwin Park West Coast Dental offices, they were able to install the crown as quickly as possible.

Nice and all professionals. They all know what to do and recommend to resolve the issue. I will be waiting for the approval and the dental procedure and be back here. Thumbs up!

I was told I could come in to see an Endodontist as an emergency patient because I was feeling pain at the site of the tooth. I left work early and rushed down to the pathetic dental office. Waited about 2 1/2 hours and was told that they couldnt see me. What! But heres the kicker! The staff employee FLAT OUT LIED TO MY FACE! She said I spoke to the call center and made the emergency appointment with them and not the office directly. Well, I called around 2:30 and actually I spoke to someone in the office. But no, she was trying to convince me I spoke to the Call Center. Its amazing how people have no shame of lying and on top of that...believe their own lies! I left, I called the office manager and asked if she trains her office staff to lie? She said I can come back after I drove all the way home so they can relieve my tooth of pain until I can get the root canal done the following month. I told her that she couldnt tell me that before I left? Anyway, heres another kicker! The office manager lied too! Unbelievable!!! I told her if I came back I wanted to know what my co-payment will be. She said she will have one of her staff members call me soon to let me know. Well, never received a call and was so disgusted I decided not to go back to Dental Group of Liars of Covina. I think that name is more fitting...dont you think? Oh yeah! The first liar told me that since I couldnt see the Endodontist that day for my pain...I can drug myself for a whole month on pain killers until my appointment. Really?! Big Pharma must be her biggest fan!

All of the ladies working at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly. I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed by the oral surgeon, Dr. Dorsey and alongside him were his assistants Sherry and Lena. I knew I was in good hands because they made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Dr. Dorsey did a spectacular job and my recovery was very easy. Everything healed perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. I had the best experience and I will continue to come here for all of my dental work. Thank you! :)

I will not be going back!! I’ve never been to a dental office where they get a full set of X-rays but can’t do general cleaning of your teeth until they get a break down of what your primary dental insurance covers!! This after I just took them my secondary insurance. I was livid!! I am a retired nurse with great retirement insurance both medical and dental. This Dental office is more interested in cosmetic dental needs then just the basic needs like cleaning your teeth!!!

My daughter had an appointment at 11 a.m. Did not have her x-rays taken until 12 p.m. then we were told she would not be seen for another hour. I have been taking my kids here for over 10 years not anymore. For the past two years service/wait times have been ridiculous.

This place is a joke I made an appointment for a cleaning at 11AM they didnt take me back to get anything done til 12:50 than they told me to go eat and come back because the dr was going to take a lunch I came back waiting til 2:20 before I left. I will never go back they had another patient waiting in an exam room who was there since 9 and didnt help them til 1PM

AWFUL! Dont waste your time, we WAITED FOR MORE THAN 1 HOUR and then, they rescheduled us because it was too late to verify our insurance. (Ok, it may happen, lets try again) Two days later, we had our new appointment and after 1 hour, They told us: you are next, just wait 10 more minutes and 50 minutes later, we were still waiting (yeah, ALMOST 2 HOURS IN TOTAL). We decided to leave (nobody has time to wait that long).I only saw their rate (4.0) and I thought it was enough, but I shouldve read the comments as well; there are many saying similar situations!

Dr. Montilla is an excellent dentist, provides quality service. I am very please with the services at Dental Group of Covina. I had a root canal done, and I was a little scared of course, I am very very pleased with the outcome. The dental assistants are also excellent service providers, quality service takes time.

My son had appointment to get his wisdom teeth remove then doing that they did 4 feelings on him when i told Karina I didn’t want anything done on him only his wisdom teeth pulled out only I told Karina to call me When he was out of the exam and she never did I tried to speak to the manager they told me she was gone for the day later she comes out and leaves so the next day I called and told Karina I Want to talk to the manager Rocio So I went in my lunch and she was not there I was so upset that the front desk didn’t tell her I was going in so I told them just to make sure she gives me a call when she comes back she never called me so from day one that office was so unresponsible we had both insurances and they were billing my husband‘s insurance before mine when I was the primary and they were building the insurance for so many things a root canal feelings cleaning I’ll kinds of stuff that he did not get done I called insurance and I reported it to them that they were doing fraud because we never did all that stuff the only thing he got done was 4 feelings in my insurance covers 100% and they charged my son $50 out of pocket when we don’t even have a $50 co-pay that office don’t know how to do their own work so if I would recommend anybody they’ll be no that office looks so dirty And they’re not professional at all so for me to grade this office I’ll be zero And he was there for 5 hours that’s how long it took to do 4 feelings Never going back

Dr. Aamir is rude unprofessional and isn’t willing to help. I was told to make my appointment with my original dentist however I had already requested the day off to have work done but my dentist wasn’t there. And his response was “where do you work, don’t they offer PTO??”Fortunately He did end up doing the work but with constant rude remarks and he was very heavy handed rough/ not gentle with me .. it was to the point that Sara the dental assistant was telling him to stop being rude to me. And his response was “I like making the patient upset” while laughing .He’s supposedly been a dentist for over 20 years, I can’t believe how he’s been getting away with this type of behavior. This dentist office has issues with everything…Shout out to Sara for defending me.

Usually I dont bother with doing reviews, but service has gone downhill in the last year. Waited over 2 hours to get in on a scheduled cleaning. Five months ago I got in much quicker but still had a unreasonably long wait. I used to get in and out in less than an hour for the same work. Time to find another dentist!

The doctor spent like ten minutes doing the deep cleaning later on I checked it looks the same not a deep cleaning I never got the appointment for the other side of my cleaning Im very disappointed even I pay in advance please dont do that

Had an Emergency with really bad tooth ache and I have Horrific fear of dentist to say the least. Front desk very welcoming. I waited a bit, but I understand we are in the middle of a Pandemic and everything is set back. Once in the chair, Dr. Montilla made me feel at ease. He was very informative and thorough, Ana assistant re-assuring which was very comforting because My heart was racing so fast I felt like it was going to pop out of my mouth of fear I have. Doctor was kind & gentle. I would definitely bring my family & refer friends.

This office is by far the worst Dental office and the reviews on here don’t lie, this isn’t the first time that I wait like 2hrs for a simple check up for my daughter it literally takes one hour to be called in then 1hr for a simple cleaning. There scheduling system is broken. Today after almost 2hrs I had to walk out and my daughter didn’t get her cleaning just her check up because I had to be else where. Honestly this isn’t ok and I’m filling a grievance with my insurance!

Been here for 5 YEARS! So I got something to say😁Even with an appointment you’re going to be waiting a while, once they finally call you, it’ll take a while for the dentist to actually see you.I had braces for 5 years and I’m also done (6 more months left) and due to Covid I wasn’t able to go in this year until today 4/29/21’I had Covid twice this year and didn’t want to risk getting it again. Doesn’t matter though. If I want to continue my case it would be $100 every visit. Doesn’t sound like to much, but because of me getting Covid twice I have no job and other bills to pay for.This place is somewhat cheap, butIS MONEY HUNGRY.won’t recommend.

The reception ladies are nice, but the actual service takes forever, hours of waiting, and make you come different times. If they cant take on more patients, just dont. DO NOT RECCOMEND, unless you have no job and can come any time and spend hours at a time waiting.

Got exam from specialist. Suggested deep cleaning. Was put in chair half of my mouth was numbed. Then the office dentist doctor came in and rechecked me. Left me in the chair for 30 minutes without any contact letting me know whats going on. Finally office secretary came in and explained to me what was to go on and how much I was supposed to pay mind you novocaine had wore off I never got my teeth cleaned. My insurance barely covered anything and the majority of the Bill they wanted me to pay out of pocket.i couldnt afford it. This should have been explained before I was.numbed. Total waste of my time.

I’m a new patient and I waited outside for over an hour to be called. I asked front desk to help me and the lady was very rude and didn’t help at all. Once I got X-rays done I sat another hour and a half, almost 2 for a doctor to see me. And the whole procedure took over an hour. My dentist visit was a total of 4.5 hours

I came to this dental office for the first time last Saturday, and I cannot say enough what a great experience it was! From the moment I walked in, front desk ladies, Rocio and Karina, were ON IT. From temperature checks (covid) to processing my paperwork super fast and being incredibly kind.As for my dentist, Dr. Montilla, he is the reason I came all the way from LA. Id follow him everywhere. Extremely efficient even in a busy day and attentive to any needs/pain I may have. His assistants were also top notch.Overall everyone was friendly, and knowledgeable. Honestly I would make that 30min drive from LA without thinking about it twice.

I came to have my wisdom teeth removed. The doctor was very kind and friendly. He did a really good job explaining n making me feel secure. The nurses n staff assisting in the procedure were also very kind to me. I appreciate it very much. Their understanding n patience with me during a stressful procedure made an amazing positive difference. Thank you so much for all of your help! I’m just so sorry that with all the excitement of the procedure I forgot their names or else I could publicly thank them. Waiting room was surprisingly crowded and appears as they abandoned their own safety protocol from last year. Anyone can enter the dental office now. Feels unsafe now. The pet clinic is at least responsible enough to have you phone in and wait in your car until they are ready to take you in for your appointment.

I had to wait one hour and 45 min before I was seen for a simple check up. Totally unacceptable. The dentist was borderline rude and impossible to understand

My daughter waited over and hour for a scheduled ortho appt. Poor communication in the Ortho dept appts cancelled and rescheduled.

The doctor we saw today literally yelled at my 4 year old because she was crying. My daughter is not one that cries easily we have had this same thing done 6 times and she has never made a sound. For him to yell at her when she is crying because she is in pain is absolutely unacceptable. I will never go back there. I do not suggest taking your children here.

10min x-rays. 5mins for doctor to check teeth was there for 1hour 50mins. An didnt even have anything done. Have to go back on other day. To get them clean.

You can have an appointment time and they still don’t see you till you’ve been waiting 40 mins. They have FIVE, 9am appointments and only ONE dentist available. What’s the point of an appointment time if you’re not being seen at that time. Also, who schedules 5 appointments for the same time. Doesn’t make any sense. We’re in a pandemic and they have their waiting room filled. My appointment was at 9am, it’s now 9:50 am and I have yet to have any dental work done. DON’T SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR 9am, WHEN YOU OPEN AT 9am!!!!

Split a tooth while eating steak[ bone fragment ],, was in need of pulling 1/2 tooth real bad,, I called for a price over the phone the girl said $50.00 an just walk in. usually its $100.00 any placethey process my info took my $59.00 fee,,, went in for x rays they gave a complete evaluation an would not pull the tooth had to make an appointment,, I was pretty mad an now an just left,, 7 months later they e/mail me an appointment lol canceled my member ship or they take their fee automatically

I had 2 crowns and 2 veneers done today and they look amazing! The dr and Denisse were so attentive and careful. I did not feel pain and what matters the most is that my 4 front teeth look so natural which was what I was looking for.

My experience at Dental Group of Covina was pleasurable and satisfying. Manager and staff made me feel safe and comfortable. Plan was explained clear and provided different options. I love their flexibility in choosing how to make Payments. My past experiences were not so positive, but With Dr. Tom he made sure i was doing okay and because of my levels of stress being so high about coming to the dentist Dr. and staff made me feel safe and in good hands. Dr. and staff check on me making sure i was doing okay with the anesthesia. Dr. made sure i did not feel any pain while my dental work was being performed. Honestly this is the first place i felt i was safe and made me feel like home. Special Thanks to all staff from front desk Claudia, Dr. Tom, Sarah David and Pam they were incredible. now i bring my family to Dental Group of Covina because of their professionalism, clean facility, care for patients, the new updated equipment, flexibility with payment options and scheduling appointments, and best of all courageous staff. I was long overdue for a treatment because of finances/dental insurance and the office manager, Pam, helped me get everything in order. Thank you to the technicians, doctor, and hygienist for their help. I’m happy with my experience today and the service from all who attended to me. Our appt was at 4pm they called us after 45mins. My complaint the waiting was so long. Even inside the room my husband still had to wait for another 15-20mins. I hope they will improve this what’s the use of making an appt if we had to wait for 45mins or longer.

Dont come here unless u want your time wasted!Arrived at 1250 for a 1 o clock appointment waited 30 minutes atleast 12 people showed up in that time webt to front desk gavw them my number and asked them to text me when it was my turn that i would wait in my car, and waitind until 245 nothing never called me or anything they just waste your time so dont come here unless u want to be ignored and have your time wasted. They beed to think about the amount of people they can handle at a time instead of just booking 15 people for a 100 o clock appointment.

Waited for 2 hours on the chair just to be told they made a mistake and I didn’t need any dental work done. It’s a good thing I worked from my phone the whole time.

I’ve been taking my daughter there for many years, but for the last times we’ve been here there service/customer service is being HORRIBLE! They are not organized at all and they always have an excuse of why you have to wait 2+ hrs to get seeing when they don’t have people! Just very unprofessional!

I been coming here for over 2 years now. The customer service is excellent! It’s all a very clean and friendly environment. I recommend coming here.

I had an emergency appointment at 11 am due to extreme tooth ache. Got there at 10:55, i literally had to wait 2 hours to be seen. I didn’t get seen until 12:50ish. Got checked real quick. Dentist seemed nice. However, i couldn’t get any treatment done at all. Dentist left along with the assistant and I was left there alone for about 15 minutes and didn’t hear back from anyone until i walked to the front desk to ask the receptionist! Just got an ibuprofen prescription for a root canal pain. Receptionists told me I have to wait up to 4 weeks to get any treatment done.It is currently 1:10am and i cannot sleep from the toothache, and all i got was ibuprofen.

I like it here. Have been going here for years. But please be aware- because of Covid 19 protocols there tends to be a waiting period even if you arrive at the appointed time. So- talk to the receptionist, ask them how long the wait may be and ask them to call your cell when youre next. In the meantime, you can checkout the shops nearby The area has an Aldi, Lowes, Shoe store, craft store and more.

I do recommend this office. I have much anxiety when it comes to the Dentist. All the staff were caring and professional with me. I want to give a very special Thank You to Claudia and Dr. Burman for the extra special care you gave to me.

While I dont hate this office I do feel that they care mostly about selling you something. I know that I need work but I simply cannot afford it at the time. They seem to be completely astonished by the fact that I wouldnt want to do the work, then asked several more times when if I was sure. Yup Im still sure that I cant afford it, after 15 minutes have passed. They are not awful but their bed side manor needs work.

Very friendly, customer-oriented dental office that is open on Saturdays. My husband found this practice one weekend as I was experiencing excruciating pain. There were a couple of issues including nerve/tissue damage caused by an abscess. Dr. Tom treated the abscess including root canals. He is a very skillful doctor and conducted the procedures very thoroughly. He is a very skillful doctor and has a very calm and reassuring manner. He did not rush through the procedures. He managed the root canals very successfully. I have double roots which was an added challenge for the doctor and myself. He pays attention to the minutest details right up to fitting the crowns. He is very patient and answers all the questions posed by me. Dr. Tom was very capably assisted by Leo, the Dental Assistant. Leo did a great job assisting Dr. Tom in a very professional manner. He was also very helpful and caring in ensuring I was comfortable throughout the procedure. We are very happy with the services we have received and I am happy to recommend as an excellent, caring and customer-friendly office. Thanks a lot.

Every person was great.I felt really good about choosing Dental Group of Covina.

Very clean and the people were helpful and kind. The wait was quite long but other than that was happy.

I am extremely happy and satisfied with my experience at Dental Group of Covina. The staff are very friendly, professional, and they genuinely care about your needs. I barely had to wait, and they explained everything very thoroughly. Dr Yu was amazing, and very patient, and always made sure I was comfortable. Leo, David, and Denise were fantastic, along with the rest of the staff. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing dental work. Great job, and will definitely be coming back for future dental procedures. 😊

Wow! What a terrific dental office.Manager, Claudia, made me feel welcome over the phone. She was so knowledgeable too.Office staff member, Delia, was so pleasant, positive and efficient. She knows her stuff.Julie, the radiologist, was a great listener and kind and compassionate.Her supervisor, Sarah, was very professional.All in all I was very happy to have been referred to Dental Group of Covina!

My Mom, a retired RN, wanted me to help in sharing how she felt about ‘Dr. Amir’at this Dental Office. She’s 92 & never had such a comfortable Dental experience in her life.She said he was “kind, gentle, conscientious knowledgeable, and funny”! He fit her into his schedule in a timely manner & did ‘intense surgery’ (2hrs including sutures and cadaver bone!) no swelling & the next day she could even eat! 2 wks later, a crown..So, because of the fact that my Mom is becoming older and more fragile, & to be so impressed by Dr Amir, makes me equally as impressed! He took amazing care of my Mom, & I thank you..But more importantly SHE thanks you! 🙏🏽 This office is fortunate to have a dentist who is so knowledgeable & caring!👏🏽

Expect to wait over an hour after having an appointment. I was rescheduled twice and the day they gave me was on a day the doctor doesnt work..smh..ended up rescheduling again.

Dentist was not friendly, very rough on the extraction didnt provide antibiotics prescription, extraction pain for 7 + days called in, manager was suppose to call me back did not, feels like theres a partial piece of the tooth still in there ...

Worst place ever. save yourself the headache. do not come here.

I came into the dental office in pain not only was I in pain but I was so afraid because of my past experiences with The dentist and I spoke to Claudia and she was so kind and awesome she told me about Dr. Amir And he is one amazing doctor

The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It did take a while but I understand it was because of covid-19 safety procedures. Dr. Amir Hemmati did my root canal and diligently answered my questions, it was virtually painless and I will choose to go back to this office for any future dental needs.

Dr Yu is the best! Super patient with me, awesome dental work. Sarah was also a great assistant. Denise worked around my work schedule to set up my appointments. Overall, I am very HAPPY with the results. I recommend Dental Group of Covina!

Always very nervous going to the dentist, but this time my experience was completely different. The staff is very friendly and the doctors have the hands of angels. Would absolutely go back for my next check up.

Delightful experience, something I will remember for the rest of my life! The people there are very friendly, professional and an expert in their craft. Julie was nice and kind. Karina was very informative and knowledgeable. Pam was skillful and on point. Doctor knew his stuff and talked me thru everything. I can sleep 10x better now I found my new dental office. My life has never been so exciting, this visit has been the peak of my life! I will dip into my life savings to go back if I have to and so should you!

They unapologetically kept a 6 year old waiting for more than an hour to see the dentist. The dentist showed absolutely no awareness or compassion towards my, understandably, upset son. Please find a different dentist office. This place clearly does not care about their patients.

I got an appointment quickly when I called. I barely had to wait to go back for my appointment, and they were very pleasant and efficient with the appointment! Everyone was very kind and helpful!
