I came here for my wedding nails and I was SO HAPPY with how they turned out!!! I had so many compliments on them. They were clean inside, everyone was super friendly, and everyone getting their nails done seemed just as happy as I was when I left. Definitely going back again.

I come here all the time. The staff is great. They are very professional as well as clean. They play great music and they’re always funny and personable. They still have a mask policy which honestly protects us all because of the fumes and chemicals in the products used for the services. Appointments are always kept or communication is made. I love this place. My mom and sisters come also along with my two young nieces as well and even those little divas are satisfied.The location is great. There is a convenience store nearby. A great eyebrow and henna place and cleaners nearby. And even a new black owned restaurant is in the strip to try.

The service can be better!!! They are always overly booked so they have to rush and you end up receiving poor service where your no chip polish is coming off early!!! Acrylic nails are always too thick depending on what nail tech does your nails. They take entirely too long when taking off no chip polish especially when they are overbooked you are just sitting around waiting while they care for several other customers as you wait for no chip to be taking off!!! I use to enjoy coming to this shop because the prices are reasonable and it’s close to my home but now I dislikes it here. I don’t even enjoy getting no chip polish on my real nails anymore because of how long I have had to sit and wait for it to be removed having to deal with 3 to 4 tech while they wait on other customers!!!

Where do I start.. from the excellent customer service over the phone when scheduling our appointment to the extreme cleanliness of the shop and they are following all safety precautions to the sea salt rub and hot towel service. Sanitized and individually wrapped tools and all the ladies take good care of you. Alma took care of me and she was amazing!! It doesnt hurt that they are only 7 minutes from home. I will definitely be back!! Thank you for showing me great service does still exist...

Alma was great, the services I requested where preformed in a very professional and efficient manner the staff was very professional and friendly and kept everyone informed of any wait time and they did their best to see every one at their schedules appointment times.

I love this shop, Julie, Hip and Alma are amazing as well as the entire staff! They are very professional and accommodating with scheduling, they interact with the customers as far and conversation and try their best to make sure everyone is comfortable and that you feel welcome, My daughter introduce me to the shop and I absolutely love them, along with me and my daughter now my sister, my mom and my niece all go to Nail Tropix. Have been here twice for pedicures. They are very kind and accommodating when my fiance and I wanted to sit together to get pedicures at the same time. The follow all safety measures for a clean experience, our techs who worked with us were very thorough and Julie is very welcoming and hospitalable.

This was my first and last time. I went to get a pedicure and manicure. I had no chip polish on my hands already instead of them letting the polish soak off while my feet were getting done; they waited until I was seated at the nail table. Now I’m sitting here even longer for me to not like my nails! I told the lady I wanted French tip but with the color that was on my feet. She STILL put white polish on my nails! I didn’t feel like sitting there any longer so I didn’t even tell her fix it! HORRIBLE!!! but the other workers were really nice. That’s why I gave two stars

I love the service they are very clean. They did great I mean absolutely wonderful on my nails. The prices are very reasonable and manageable. They are very friendly and professional. I will go there every time I need my nails done no matter where I live it’s worth the trip.

Im not religious about getting my nails done but when I do, Nail Tropix is my go to place. A friend introduced me to this shop about a year or so ago. Super clean salon, very professional workers. The salon has Clean work stations, so many cute colors to pick from and disposable pedicure tools. All are a plus in my book.

The proprietor of this salon and the employees are all very friendly and respectful. I appreciated the service that I received there; however, the dip nail application did not look good after one week. I had the service twice, and each time the nail enamel cracked and looked tacky. The first application, the polish actually chipped. I think the prices are fair, but I need my nails to last at least two weeks when I get no chip or dip manicure.The search continues!

Overbooked and need more staff that can do ALL services!

I’ve been to probably every nail shop in the south suburbs and this is the BEST yet! The quality of the work, they NEVER do a rush job and they are so personable I feel like family every time I visit. I will not be going anywhere else to receive nail services unless this place goes out of business which I absolutely hope never ever happens!!!

My boyfriend took me here as a surprise to get my nails done and it was horrible. My pedicure was rushed and the same lady that did my feet did my nails, she was very aggressive. She did horrible job on my nails, she was so rude. She didn’t use the correct nails to fit my nails, she didn’t push my cuticles, and my nails were poorly done. She was grabbing my hand aggressively and pulling on them. I’m not saying the whole nail shop is bad but there is a female Hispanic nail tech there (she never told me her name) THAT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO AT ALL. I’m honestly really upset at the waste of money.

Came here a month ago because theyre closer than my usual place in the city. They have alot of colors to choose from. They also fixed one of my nails where the polish chipped without a fuss, so that was a plus. Prices were the same as other local shops.

A co-worker of mine has been telling me about this salon for a while and I never went because it’s about half away. Today I decided to go,me and my daughter and this place is AMAZING I will definitely be going back. It is well worth the drive. They are friendly, clean and efficient. It’s like one big family. Absolutely great place. The service was phenomenal and everyone was so friendly. Julie did my nails and she did it just the way I wanted it. Would recommend this place to everybody.

Our experience was OUTSTANDING, and we felt completely SAFE the whole time. Three of us called at the last minute for pedicure appointments, and they graciously fit us in. Masks were required. Upon entry they took our temperatures, and we were ushered to the public handwashing sinks to wash our hands for 20 seconds while they sanitized our chairs. Everyone consistently wore masks properly; none of that below the nose business. It was an enormous relief, as we are caring for my 89 year old grandmother and have encountered complacent folks at many restaurants. The pedicures were lovely, with lots of attention to detail, and value was incredible. We will be giving them our business from here forward.

After years of traveling 20-30 minutes out for quality care on my nails, I decided to google nearby nail salons and came across Nail Tropix. I figured I’d give them a shot since the ratings & customer experience were both so positive. Julie did my nails and she was beyond professional, personable, and thorough. My pedicure was done by another young lady who was also thorough & professional. The entire atmosphere of the shop was friendly & family oriented. I met her brother Hiemp (another nail tech) who was just as personable. Each time the door opened customers were greeted with smiles & first name basis if they were returning customers. In short, I love my nails & pedicure, and enjoyed my experience here. They have for sure gained a new customer!

Ive only used Hip so far to do my nails and he does a wonderful job I love that its a family business and that they all are friendly. They even speak English when talking to us or each other so I dont feel like an outsider. The last time I was there the clients were serenaded by one of the owners son. He is a musician and pulled out his guitar and sung an original song. I have been telling everyone about my new found shop.

A New Home! I use to work in Indiana where I had a long standing relationship with a shop there and I continued to go every 3 weeks, as it was hard to find a good shop closer to home, but things changed. Like so many others, I found this shop while searching for a shop closer to home, which has been a challenge in this area, until now! I wanted to give time before giving a review and today will be my 3rd visit for a fill and pedicure. Im sold on everything about this shop! Everyone that I have encountered has been friendly and professional. Julie is amazing and very detailed in the service that she provides. The shop is clean and easily accessible. If youre still searching for a good nail shop .. Id highly recommend that you check them out.

I’ve never found a place I truly loved. And walk out very happy with my nails.... until now. Nail Tropix is amazing. They’re family owned and it shows they care. I had Julie do my nails and her brother (I forget his name) did the design on them. They were BOTH very nice. Their uncle did my pedicure and did an amazing job also. I was referred here and am so happy I listened. I usually don’t take the time to do reviews..... but, they are a 10 star in my book, 5 stars don’t do them justice, so I figured I’d actually write this one. Come to find out Julie said they’ve only been open for 5 months now. With as good as they are I thought they’ve been there longer. They deserve everyone’s business. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to give it time before I wrote a review. Because sometimes things change on the 2nd or 3rd visit. Not here! They were just as good this time! The shop is very clean; the owners are very friendly and greet you by name. It was kind of busy so they did rush a little but overall my nails look good! I’ll definitely go back on a slower day of the week.

Nice new shop. Clean. Friendly staff. Nail tech was good. She was a bit rough filing my nails at times. But the finished job was very good. She didn’t rush my massage either. I’d go back.Update: the nail tech was so rough that she cut the skin on my toes. The next day I had cuts on my feet from rough filing. I would still give them another chance but I wouldn’t go back to that tech.

I liked how clean and nice the staffs were, however I was unaware of the fungi I received on one of my toe from previous nail salon, the way they acted toward me.. I didn’t like it. Made it felt like it was being rushed because they didn’t want to deal with it, which I understand. But ITS HAPPENED. It was nothing I can do about it. I just felt like they could’ve been little more professional on how they handle situations like that.

Ive visited this salon twice. The first time I had a good experience. The second time I went was 6 days ago. Hannah was my technician. She did a good job on my feet. I got a no-chip mani as well. When I got home I could see through the nail polish. My daughter said you should go back up there but i needed to pack for an out of town trip. Two days after the mani, i had a chipped nail. Now I have 3. Normally, I can go 3 weeks with a no-chip. I really like the shop and the people who work there. Not sure if I will go back. Maybe one more time to see if 3 times a charm...

It was honestly the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Every toenail has chipped polish in less than a week. The lady would have to clean off polish after each coat because she constantly kept messing up. Overall they are nice and clean but I wouldn’t recommend.

Friendly and positive environment..

Went three times and they didn’t not have my appointment in the books that I had made during my last visits. Then they focus on 1 hour for nails and feet that they don’t take the time to properly do your feet and the nails are always inconsistent. The one hour is great but the service experience is very much lacking.
