I donβt leave many google reviews, which is strange because my work relies heavily on them π. I donβt really have any negative things to say. There were a few hiccups upon move in and to be honest, they seemed to get worked out in a timely accommodating manner. I feel the office staff was fair and understanding. The place really is quite pretty, and has great amenities. I would say noise can be an issue sometimes, meaning that we have had a few complaints towards us when we are not an overly loud family and actually make an effort to be pretty quiet, which is strange. We also hear a lot of noise above us especially in the mornings when whoever lives there gets up super early for work. We donβt complain cause itβs an apartment so it is what it is. I wouldnβt say there are thin walls or anything like other comments I read on here, thatβs just apartment life sometimes. I will say for sure the shining note here is the maintenance crew. Rebel especially and his guys are awesome. When we moved in they did so much to make us happy, fast at what they do and bent over backwards to make everything they could good for us. Stand up guy that goes above and beyond.I would definitely recommend this place and side note, the location so close to everything is a serious serious plus!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Me and my boyfriend moved in around mid October. They Gave a checklist to go around the apartment and make sure everything looked good, and then they compare this to there check off once we leave (this is important). When in the bathroom we found a huge crack on the side of the bathtub to the point we were not able to take a bath only showers. The same day we moved in and found it we sent a picture to management. They got back to us quickly saying they will create a work order to get it replaced. A month later we still had not even had anyone come check the tub so we called again and they said that they were having troubles finding a vendor that would replace the tub with out replacing the whole shower. Which isnt our problem were renters and you are in charge of making sure that the place is livable. Which also means they did not do the check out paper once the last tenant left, so I have to assume they are keeping deposits regardless of how the apartment is left. The maintenance guy finally came to check in and caulk around the tub which had no issues. They told us they were still working on finding a vendor to REPLACE the tub. When they finally got us scheduled to fix the crack in JANUARY, almost 3 months later, the vendor showed up said there was a leak left and didnt come back. We were scheduled again the next day and they never showed up. Finally on the 3rd scheduled day they showed up just to do something completely different than replacing the tub like we were told multiple times was the plan. They resurfaced the tub and it looks pretty nice but it is very obvious were the crack is. During the entire 3 month process we kept calling the office to tall them we would like notes kept and compensation for the long wait. The lady in the office told us that she couldnt until the job was done so they can compensate us fully. When we called back saying it was done they told us upper management flat out said no to any compensation. They did not allow us to walk through the apartment before signing the lease because the were cleaning it. If we had we would have been able to see the crack and request a different apartment or wait till it was fixed but they did not check or have us check. My recommendation for anyone apartment hunting, SKIP THIS COMPLEX. They management is so unprofessional and they did not handle our situation with care or urgency and brushed us off after it was fixed. This is completely the managements fault for not checking before having us sign the lease, the cleaning crew didnt let anyone know of the crack, and I do not trust them at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.IT IS ALSO APPARENT THE MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE ACCORDING TO THE RESPONSES OF OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS. I CANT STRESS ENOUGH HOW HORRIBLE THE MANAGEMENT IS.
So there are always good and bad things about renting. The thing that makes my husband and I happy about the place we live is the maintenance staff. Particularly, Rebel. He is always in top of making sure our needs are addressed and makes sure things get done. There have been a few moments that come to mind and I will ring his praises all day if I could. Taking the good and the bad, Rebel makes this place function and I appreciate him and the maintenance team.
I just visited to see if this place would work for me. Katherine was very professional, kind and courteous during our visit. She was really interested in our needs. She followed up with additional information immediately and had been very responsive to additional questions. I definitely feel like Iβm getting VIP treatment!
I had a great experience here. Katherine was very kind, friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions and was very upfront with me. I just signed an 8 month lease so we will see how the living experience will be. There arenβt many amenities but the community seems quiet and small which is what I was wanting. I hope the next 8 months are a great experience as well!
We spent the weekend looking at apartments in the Fort Union area. Ascent was the last one we looked at. We were exhausted and probably a bit cranky, but were met with kindness and empathy. We were shown the club house and the pool area and we appreciated how clean everything was. I was blown away with how big the bedrooms and bathrooms are in the apartment! Ascent just claimed to the top of our list!
The most wonderful thing about paying rent here is the amazing man Rebel. He is in charge. Great attitude, work ethic and on time!! Love him!Shelly
I appreciate the quick, reliable, and excellent that the maintenance man Rebel gives to my and family who live in these apartments. He makes our experience living here one to remember!
My boyfriend & I came in to get more info on some apartments we saw online. The clubhouse was beautiful, but unfortunately the staff/office ladies were not. There was a lady in the back back office that came out after we had been standing in the clubhouse for a few minutes. When we inquired about the apartments, she acted hesitant to help us. (Like she was too busy or something.) After hearing prices we decided to go check out some other apartments that were close by. When leaving Ascent we decided to drive around to spot the apartments that βwere coming availableβ while driving we noticed all the garbage bins were over full, & trash on the ground all around them. Definitely not very pleasing to the eye. This place looks cute from pictureβs online. But not in person. & the office people werenβt very opening as well.
Rebel is the maintenance person and he is great. He went above and beyond when I asked him for help with my lock. Thanks again!
I lived here for two years and recently moved because I bought a home. If I hadnβt bought a home Iβd stay at least another two years. Staff is so friendly right down to the maintenance staff. Quiet place with all amenities and even a beautiful river running through by the pet park. The residents are as good as it gets, they gather around if you have pets always respectful and your sure to love the puppy parties. I rarely leave reviews but had to let everyone know what a pleasure it was to live here.If your looking for a quiet friendly place to live with good amenities here is the place. Oh yes location was phenomenal great restaurants and all ft. Union shops around the corner yet apartments are on a dead end street out of the mix the best of both worlds!
Our apartment is lovely. It has a lot of storage space and I love my walk in closet. The staff is also super friendly. Overall I highly recommend these apartments.
We have lived at Ascent since the end of September, and we are beyond happy with our choice to live here. We fell in love with how quiet, peaceful, and well kept the property is while also being centrally located in Cottonwood Heights (right next to Target and Trader Joeβs). There were some growing pains as management of the property changed hands around the beginning of the year, but they have done a really wonderful job. They keep the property clean, maintain the pool well, and are always kind and responsive. Holly from the main office is always so patient and kind when I call, which I have done a lot recently; she promptly answers my questions, makes me feel heard, and resolves issues. Thank you Holly!! Also maintenance is always such a treat to deal with. They have fixed several issues in our home incredibly quickly, professionally and kindly. Plus they are always so pleasant when we see them around the complex!Thank you Ascent! We would recommend anyone to live here. It feels far more like a home than an apartment complex!
The creek is gorgeous! Add in the fact that there are trees everywhere and you can say this place is magical. Itβs so beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are well kept and I just love being outside here! The apartments are so adorable too. π
I lived at Ascent for a year and had some various experiences. I am going to keep things strictly informational. When Gabby and Logan were in the office - they were amazing. Gabby worked with me on any concerns I had and made sure to go above and beyond to ensure that myself and other tenants were happy. Logan was just a great person and extremely helpful. I have not worked with the new management company much - but it was hard to connect with them or get responses. That is also in the middle of a pandemic when all apartment complexes seem to be super busy working out some kinks, so I am not sure what it would look like outside of this. The maintenance crew has always been incredibly responsive and even helped me with getting pigeons off my balcony when they were trapped since animal control was going to charge me $400 for removal. When I moved in, there were dead spiders on the floor, holes in walls from things being hung, caked pigeon poop on the balcony, and dirty nail clippers and contact lenses still in the bathroom. They did not clean the counter tops, the carpet, or really anything. Gabby did fix the issue and had people to come clean the apartment, but it pushed my moving dates back which was an inconvenience. The upkeep of some of these units is incredibly poor. My HVAC unit had to be fixed at the start of the winter or summer. In summer it would blow hot air because a fan wouldnt kick on, and then in winter it would blow cold air until maintenance flipped it back over to heat. Not the biggest issue - but for the amount in rent a single person pays for a one bedroom, it seems a little unreasonable. In the course of a year; my HVAC was broken, my water heater broke, my garbage disposal broke and leaked water everywhere causing mold to grow under my sink, and my windowsills would leak water if it rained or snowed and it grew mold in the corners that never really got cleaned out. Plus, maintenance does not shovel or clear the parking lot until a day after a storm hits. So, you will be walking in snow or on ice for at least a day after a storm. Now upon move out is when I was the most upset. I moved out quickly so I could have 2 days to deep clean my apartment. I wiped all counter tops, cleaned my oven and microwave, vacuumed the carpets and the baseboards for lint or dust, and put sheet rock puddy in any holes so no one would walk into what I did since it was clear they did not have people come clean before a new tenant moved in. I was still somehow charged cleaning fees and a $10 move out fee. I have attached pictures of when I moved out vs how the apartment was when I moved in to show my irritation.Overall; I really wouldnt recommend these apartments to anyone but it is really up to what you are willing to deal with. For me - the price was not worth the issues.
I have lived here for around 10 years. Itβs better now than ever! The office Girls are great! Holly is my go to if I ever need anything her customer service is Top Notch! Along with the Maintenance guys. I Recommend If your looking for a great place to live come here!
Dear lord I canβt even begin to describe how awful our living experience was. The day we moved in they didnβt even have our house keys ready. It took over three weeks for us to even get our mailbox keys so we had to ask them to check our mail for us for almost a month. The first two months are rent was wrong and management did absolutely nothing to help and procrastinated so plan on having to call corporate like we did to get anything taken care of. The pool area always smells strong of dog urine and poop. People smoke even though they arenβt supposed to, walls are terribly thin, and plan on having to write a demand letter to get your security deposit back within the legal 30 day time frame.
I have lived here for 6 months. Gabby & Logan are great. They are super helpful, kind, professional, and genuinely care about you as a tenet. These apartments are well taken care of and not on a main road, which makes it a really safe and quiet. Theyβre close to the canyons and shopping nearby which is very convenient. Definitely recommend living here.
My wife and I recently decided to relocate to Utah from California and were having trouble deciding where to live. After an exhaustive search, we decided to check out the Ascent in Cottonwood Apartments and weβre so glad we did! Itβs centrally located in the salt lake valley with great access to the freeway, they allow smaller pets, have a pool and even a fitness center!! After getting the run around dealing with applications for other complexβs, it was a great change of pace working with Holly at Ascent. She made it a painless experience and weβre excited to be moving in soon! Definitely give this place a look if youβre in the market for a rental, you can thank me later.
Professional and friendly leasing staff and team. They are always willing to sit aside time for questions and are helpful. The clubhouse is cleab and refreashing. Great place and great staff
I came here on a whim, curious to see the newly renovated units which looked absolutely adorable online. I had been apartment hunting for what felt like forever, after being married for what felt like forever, and being newly single I was trying to find the perfect fit for me. Can I just say, Holly was amazing! She went above and beyond in helping me find the perfect apartment - I even got a real wood burning fireplace! - and I move in today! She helped me get the most bang for my buck and seriously, Ascent in Cottonwood is so peaceful, clean and quiet, even though itβs so centrally located near the freeway! Thank you Holly for all your help! I canβt wait to make this my home!
Ascent in Cottonwood is beautifully secluded, but also very close to lots of shopping and wonderful restaurants. I like how centrally located Ascent is in Salt Lake County. Easy access to freeways. The apartments feel more like a condo rather than an apartment.
We have been residents since December. Management switched shortly after we moved in and we thought that would be for the best. So far the new management team is very friendly, and seems to care. However Ive had no luck resolving an issue with our neighbors. They have a bird feeder on their patio, which draws in a lot of pigeons, bird seed, and bird poop to our patio. This not only effects our unit, but the unit below us as well.We love our home and would like to enjoy it, especially during this period of social distancing. Hopefully leaving a review will finally bring action.
Amazing service!! Holly was very helpful with helping me apply the same day I came in!! Very nice apartments too!
My girlfriend and I are currently looking for an apartment. Went on a tour with Holly and had a great experience all around. She adequately answered any questions we had, and she was very knowledgeable and informative. I LOVE THAT THERE IS NO REQ. MEDIA PACKAGE! Were looking to move in to an apartment around April, and so far this was our best experience. Not to mention it being so close to the ski resorts is a huge plus!
Unfortunately they didnβt have the floor plan I was looking for but the customer service here was incredible. Their nice maintenance man greeted me and offered his assistance while I was waiting as well. 100% recommend checking this place out.
The biggest con of this place is that management is slow to get things done. For example, the hot tub has been broken for months and so has some of the equipment in the gym. I have called several times about it, and they always give me the same answer, that theyβll call someone to come fix it, but no one has ever come. They are also messy with contracts. My roommates and I have had to sign our contracts multiple times when one of my roommates moved out because they lost the other contract. And weβre still getting emails about it. The apartments themselves are nice, although they are a little pricey. And recently the valet trash is now a required service of $25 a month, which is a bummer. But overall, nice neighborhood.
This is a really nice place to liveβthe upgrades are fantastic. We had some bumps in the beginning but were better than taken care of once we settled in. The staff is great at ensuring all requests are taken care of in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for modern, spacious, affordable housing
Its such a great area to live. Everyone is so awesome. The attendants are super nice and easy to talk too. Definitely recommend. Courtney and Holly are some of the nicest people youll ever meet.
Pinnacle Fort Union has exceeded our expectations when it comes to apartment living. We are very excited that new management is investing so much time and money into upgrades around the property. Our apartment is spacious, and we love the upgraded counter tops and appliances!! The staff is always very helpful and quick to get things done upon request, maintenance is friendly and responsive. We have loved living here and plan to renew our lease when it ends. I would highly recommend Pinnacle to anyone looking for a new place to call home!
I felt this was probably the easiest move in experience I have ever had. It was a really good experience overall from the application process, to putting down the deposit, to actual move in. The staff helped keep us informed during the process, and has adequately & promptly addressed any questions we have had. This place is clean, and well kept. I am very happy with the choice to live at Ascent in Cottonwood.
Its a great place overall, and I love the community, but the parking is absolutely ridiculous at night. there are NO spots EVER past like 7pm most days SUCH garbage parking, honestly. I have two cars in my household, i hate parking so far away from my own home. its annoying.
I have been living here for over 5 years. I love it here and feel that the management has been wonderful and very helpful. They have done a great job in making Ascent in Cottonwood look better, by painting and updating everything. We are located in a wonderful area and so close to stores, freeway, eating places, Fashion Place Mall, Movie Theaters, and etc. Management is great and doing such a great job in fixing everything up.
Logan was so extremely helpful with the whole leasing process. This community is exactly what I was looking for. Excited to be living here in a totally updated βnewβ apartment. Park like setting w privacy in a super location.
The place is gorgeous and the staff was very informative. Wonderful atmosphere.
Since new management took over, my experience living at Ascent in Cottonwood has taken a drastic turn for the worse. Previous management was challenging at times, but I never experienced the overall lack of communication, responsiveness, or regard for tenants that I am experiencing now.I have been a renter, off and on, for about 15 years, and this is genuinely the worst experience with management I have ever had.
I love living here. Its never easy moving especially when it involves two people with two different schedules. Gabby has been a wonderful apt manager who helps whenever I need it. Quickly and efficiently. My boyfriend lived here previously and he has never had any issues with the complex or the management. Check it out!
The manager Jordyn is beyond kind and helpful, Logan the leasing agent is on top of everything, and the maintenance is so quick to respond. Location is perfect and a little secluded, but still close to so much. Really amazing community that cares about each other, does fun events for us residents, and makes this place such a great place to call home.
We have enjoyed living here!! its conveniently close to shopping and freeway access. Gabby and her staff have been AMAZING on making sure all of our needs have been met! We are very excited to see all the new things that are going to be added to the property!! I would highly recommend living here!!
Had a great tour w/Holly this afternoon. apartments are gourgous, friendly atmosphere, definitely seems like a great spot to live
My fiancΓ©e have been residence here for almost 3 years now. We hadnβt planned on staying here for that long but we really like here! So close to everything but in its own little nook and seems so private. Weβve never had any issues with our unit other routine maintenance. Which I might add the staff and maintenance guys are super friendly!! We love this place!
We lived here for two and a half years. While the previous owners were quick to respond the new owners are slow and do things half way. Like painting, or fixing the spa. When we moved away they said that we were fine and wouldnt owe anything for the last 11 days of our lease agreement .Now we are getting debt collectors calling us when we have a message from management that says we wouldnt charge us. Its extremely sad to me that an apartment complex that was so good to me and my family became such a run down, poorly managed complex .
Unfortunately there isnt an option for zero stars because after my awful experience, I feel the need to spread the word and warn everyone about this place, the way I wish someone could have for me.First and foremost, my life has been negatively impacted by my decision to move into apartment 1149 S #32 due to the fact that I found out a week after moving into the apartment that it was infested with bed bugs! Even worse, after they performed an improper inspection, (prior to move-in AND after notifying them of this problem), I was given a false negative as for the presence of bed bugs. This further exposed myself and my boyfriend to the bugs and allowed the bugs to multiply and infest the apartment and my stuff even more.A second inspection was performed only because the office workers saw my bites so wanted to recheck. This time the inspection tested positive and our second opinion company found old blood spots all over the baseboards, as well as the shedding from the bodies and live bugs. Nothing to be found on my belongings. They said this was clear evidence that the bugs had been there prior to my move-in.The apartment complex refused to let me out of my contract or to give me a clean place to sleep and insisted I sleep in the infested apartment and continue to be bit. They took a month to even treat the apartment - pouring chemicals all over my stuff rather than the gold standard heat treatment they agreed to do.There was no willingness to work with me on helping me out of this awful, awful situation I found myself in (thanks to them) and I ended up losing ~4000 dollars through this event. I continue to struggle and rack up costs for checks and treatments since the bed bugs could come back despite the heat treatment I paid for to have my stuff eventually get to be free from the bugs for good. There were multiple other times where my boyfriend and I tried to communicate with office staff who ignored our phone calls and emails, claiming to have not received them because the email system went down (???). From the beginning, they did not meet our needs to live in a habitable environment.Beg bugs and bad reviews spread so I would hope you will take this into account before risking such bad treatment and chance for exposure to a non-habitable environment. Easily the worst decision Ive made in a long time was moving into this apartment complex.**Update: A year after this happened, we took the company to small claims court and the judge confirmed that this company was guilty of providing an inhabitable environment and handled the situation poorly. They were found guilty for infesting my belongings with bed bugs by improper checks prior to move and during my stay. The judge ruled that they would reimburse me for my losses and the companys representatives continued to haggle me after the court case was closed by sweetening me up and trying to convince me to give them my documents (in further attempt to fight the lost case). We refused and eventually got our check. Good riddance.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE LIVING, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE HAVE A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE ALL THE TIME, THEY THINK THEY PERFECT AND NEVER IN THE WRONG DONT RENT HERE GO SOMEWHERE BETTER AND WITH A MORE ENJOYABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY LACK BASIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
(UPDATE)Had some issues come up after moving in and nothing was being taken care of. Ive since taken it down, but I had posted a negative review. The issues have been addressed, but in order for some things to change, it took a bad review for it to happen. Not the best business practice, but I will give credit where credit is due.Thereβre still some things that can be worked on, but at least itβs moving in the right direction. My Girlfriend, our three kids, our two cats and I where having a hard time finding a good place to move into luckily we came across Pinnacle Fort Union apartments in the right amount of time before having to move out of our current home. We called to go look at a 3 Bedroom apartment and met the property manager Summer. She greeted us with so much kindness and treated us as if we where best friends. She was polite, funny and didnβt seem to mind out three little monkeys having fun in the weight/ exercise room. The apartment we looked at was amazing, within budget and she worked with us to get us in fast!If you are looking for a great place to live, I recommend this place! Five stars!!
We have a first floor with NO STAIRS!! Close enough to everything you could want to walk to. Beautiful property!! Love the pool and hot tub, pretty landscape with the river and mountains so close. Great staff! wont leave until we have to! nice neighbors, quiet. Love to have picnics. We love to grab drinks and cookies in the office. repairs done quick. lots of places to walk the dog. low utilities. cant say enough good things! very happy!
I must compliment this place on their ability to handle customer complaints, but thats about all I can praise it for at this time. Lived here for about 9 months and this is what I deal with on a WEEKLY basis:water heater breaking (which means no hot water or furnace)dog poop is everywherea dog park that you never want to take your dogs to because there is a black film on the gravel that they put down that will make them filthypaper thin walls (you can hear your neighbors snoring as well as doing other nighttime activities)an excellent way of handling customers so that we feel heard but they take absolutely no action ever.
The customer service is amazing, location is perfect, accessibility convenient. Highly recommended!
Gabby is one of the most amazing people I have ever met!! She handles complaints in a quickly and timely manner! She truly is a great fit for Pinnacle Fort Union!! If you ever want to just go say hi thereβs always candy. She is a wonderful business manager!!
Love living here! Jordyn and Logan are amazing! Highly recommend this place to anyone.
We have loved living at Ascent. All the new upgrades were much needed. The location is perfect, close to the freeway and grocery stores. We plan on renewing our lese when its up in May and are excited to take our puppy to the dog park new management is building.
I am not looking to move until December but I toured this property the other day as its close to my work and close to Snowbird where I ski. Gabby, the manager was very helpful in providing me all the information I needed, even though I wasnt looking to move for a few months. Other places I visited turned me away basically saying they didnt know their availability. I would move here alone just for the customer experience I received, but I also loved the apartment. Gabby showed me a renovated one so I would highly recommend checking them out as opposed to the non renovated ones. I am excited to hear about their availability for December when the time comes and hopefully move in!
Great location, I love that we are so close to everything yet still tucked away in a little neighborhood. We have the best neighbors & the staff is very helpful. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone who is looking for a great starter apartment or home. I have been here for about 2 years and wouldnt mind staying longer.
Management is unprofessional, disorganized, and rude. When we first looked to move in, we met with Kelsey, who seemed wonderful and was a big reason why we chose this complex. She left within one month of us moving in. Since then, we have seen at least 3 completely new management teams in the 2.5 years that we lived here. Each team was progressively worse. We were incredibly dissatisfied with the management of the property during our time living here. The actual units themselves are fairly nice and the location is great. The maintenance crew is genuinely kind, professional, and great at what they do. We enjoyed working with them. That being said, we did have several issues that were unresolved for a long time because the management team would never pass along our concerns to the maintenance crew. The walls are very thin - you can definitely hear everything going on in the units around you.The pools and workout equipment are often out-of-order.Management makes a huge difference in where people live, and the management team here (the several we saw and definitely the last one that was there, with Jamil as the lead) does not do a good job. As a resident, I knew that they were aware of issues because they offered a monetary reward for residents who posted positive reviews online of the community, which I find to be a dishonest way of gaining reviews. I offered my feedback on my experience living there to them directly after moving out and they told me that they didnt really want to listen to a lesson on customer service from me and proceeded to hang up on me. Management is not open to growing or meeting the needs of its residents. I highly encourage people who are interested in living here to not do so unless the management team takes a huge turn for the better.
Highly recommend Ascent, great management and maintenance. Love living in this small community thatβs tucked away... a gem!
The new management is an utter failure !!! In the beginning our whole building had a problem with the A/C and βsupposedly β fixed it. However our apt has been over 80 degree temperature in our apt!!! We have reported this about 4 more times and nothing has been done !!
This place is a must see for anyone looking for a new place to live. For the price I dont believe any other apartments compare. This place has a beautiful pool and hot tub and the newly remodeled apartments are to die for. However, the highlight of this place has to be one of the property managers named Summer. She is the most welcoming, hardworking property manager Ive ever dealt with. If you have any issues with your apartment she is right there with a solution for you. She is also ready to help you fix any minor things you dont like about your apartment, such as adding more shelving to the laundry room or updating your thermostat. All in all this place is a must see for the price and you may make a good friend along the way.
Nice remodeled apartments .the staff was very helpful and nice on the tour .
We love this place, Gabby is amazing and so is the maintenance staff. We love our smart home features and the river is beautiful.
They have been very friendly and out going since day one. They have helped me and my children move into a safe and happy place. I would recommend this place to anyone.
From the instant I walked into the clubhouse, I felt right at home. These apartments are clean, spacious, and quiet. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere with the creek is killer! There are a lot of trees, and it feels safe here. People look out for each other.
Three words: BAIT-AND-SWITCH. Units are nothing like the model that they show - different floor plan, shoddy painting, damaged base boards, different washer/dryer, and generally reflective of them putting to work the cheapest contractors they could find. As far as Im concerned, the only units worth remotely close to what they charge are the model ones. If you tour, demand to see the unit youll ACTUALLY be living in before you talk price so they cant play their game of hide the ball. Moving here at the exorbitant, unfounded rate they charge is likely every tenants biggest regret of 2019.
What room are my neighbors in? I could tell you any time any day and be spot on. Cute apartments but not noise proof what so ever. I have a screeching in my room from poor craftsmanship.Pros: theyβre large apartments with a lot of storage and easy to layout and next to the freeway. They get you in really quickly once you are approved. Gabby is very responsive and understanding.Cons: If you have noisey neighbors plan on not sleeping for the entire time you live here. Or enjoying your apartment without stomping or screeching. Some days the lights on my ceiling shake because my neighbors walking across their living room. But to each their own. Good luck.Update:My issue was never resolved. I was Contacted after this post and told they could move me into a one bedroom when I live in a two or they would get a contractor to fix the squeak in my apartment and then was never contacted again about the issue. Been living here for 4 months paying too much money and dealing with loud upstairs neighbors and a squeak in my room that sounds like nails on a Chalkboard.
The new management is extremely helpful and kind. Very pet friend with plenty of bags for the dogs. Very clean apartments and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place!!
I have worked in the apartment industry for two years, and I have never met any maintenance person that is professional and hard working as Rebel Brooks. He went above and beyond to take care of any maintenance concerns we had. I hope he gets a raise for all the hard work he does.
If you are swayed by the reviews they pay people to give positive reviews. Company is the lowest of lows. Dont give them your money because they will scam it from you when you move out or wont take care of their contractual obligations ie; keeping the spa functional. painting the units. fixing things in the apartment.
Wonderful property moved from downtown Salt Lake City. Love the area, love the fantastic price for the size of the apartment. Summer is an AMAZING property Manager and she has an AWESOME team, that really cares about their residents.
We are coming up on our 4th year here and can truly say it has been pleasant. From polite staff members to quiet neighborhs. Through the last few years we have only had a few minor maintenance requests and they have always fixed in a timely manner but most importantly, fixed correctly the 1st time around. Sadly this will be our last year here due to a relocation in my career. If the stars ever line that we move back we would definitely love to call this place home again!
Pinnacle Fort Union has been my home for the past 1.5 years. Itβs a great location and tucked away so there isnβt much street noise. I have never had a problem with crime. Thatβs being said, the apartments look nice however the walls are very thin so you will hear your next door neighbor and upstairs neighbor walking around, and youβll hear their tv if they are watching a movie. The pool here is nice, but the gym is very small with old equipment that doesnβt reliably work. It is really only meant to fit one person and there is no open floor space. Per management, they will be updating the gym in the near future. Itβs a great community with a few slight quality flaws, but overall Iβve enjoyed my time living at Pinnacle.
In January 2015 I paid all amounts due under my contract that expired in November or December 2014. I received a letter from an attorney representing the landlord this week stating that I owe money plus interest. In over 2 years, the landlord has not sent me anything regarding this amount that is supposedly due. I have evidence of the payment but now must deal with this issue.
Beautiful apartments and dog friendly. A bit pricey in my eyes but utah its self is pricey.
Ive toured this property before and I really love the renovated apartments! I have a couple friends that live here as well and they really like it!
What an awesome group of people managing these apartments. Kelsie is phenomenal! Always friendly and willing to help, and Matt in maintenance is always prompt and thorough in his repairs. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone!
****UPDATE: If I could change my 1 star to 0 stars, I would. I moved out over 2 months ago and this issue is still UNRESOLVED. I have emailed and called dozens of times and absolutely nobody will get back with me (literally not one single person has ever called me back). After finally getting ahold of someone, I was informed Utah doesnt have a customer service rep and my case has just been getting bounced around from person to person with absolutely zero progress. Furthermore, the photos they requested from Pinnacle Fort Union a month ago still havent been received. They either took photos, or did not. It does not take take 5+ weeks to GET PHOTOS EMAILED. The rep then informed me they cant control their properties (??? Shouldnt the property management be able to control their own properties?)I am completely convinced Alliance is trying to wear me out so my fee goes to the collection agency. This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. I plan to seek legal advice if this issue is not resolved in one week. Do not live here if you want to keep your sanity.****6 months ago I wouldve given this place 5 stars. However, since Alliance took over, this apartment has gone downhill fast. People cant seem to move out quick enough! I moved out a month ago and I have had nothing but problems with the entire process.Prior to moving out, I had maintenance complete a walk through of my apartment telling me the things I needed to fix (fill in nail holes, touch up paint). I was in the office 5 days in a row before they actually remembered to give me paint. I spoke directly to the manager about cleaning & carpet costs and she told me not to do it myself because they had a flat rate of $45 for carpets (couldnt find a better deal myself). Low and behold, when my move out bill rolled around she charged me $175 for carpet cleaning and charged me $50 for paint touch-ups. Apparently, having maintenance walk through was just a show.I called the manager immediately and she basically said Not my problem. Call our customer service line. I have been calling the Alliance customer service center for 2 weeks straight with no response. Ive sent emails, left voicemails, even spoke with a couple of people who said they couldnt help me and someone associated with my apartment would have to deal with this. Still nothing. Not only did the management lie about the move out expenses, but their customer service refuses to even discuss the charges. All-in-all worst move out experience Ive had to date.If management relations are important to you, do NOT move to Pinnacle Fort Union.
Beautiful community and I love the office and maintenance staff!
Has a lot of pest problems. The inside is nice but you may have areas in the house were the electricity is short . Also you may have internet problems. The layouts are nice though. There are some that may have problems with there walls. Check your apartment before leasing here.
Fantastic management! Beautiful & convenient location
Ok location. My daughter moved in 3 months ago. Management said they would spray for spiders but she is still having a problem with spiders in her home. Management was notified however shes never heard from them.
Management told me we could sell our contract then said no when we wanted to. Just management issues. The apartments were nice but expensive. Great ward.
DONT RENT HERE!!!!! Thought it was going to be a good place when we first rented it. We loved the area, but the management changed 3 times while we were there, they all said different things and the last couple of managers were complete snobs. We were told that if any holes in the wall were smaller than a dime we wouldnt have to fix them, that was by the first manager. Of course she left and when the time came to move they didnt follow what we were told and charged us $50 for a small area on the wall that would have cost us $20 max to fix on our own. We also cleaned the carpet with a machine and everything and still were charged $40 for carpet cleaning. They also let people smoke on the balconies and dont enforce them from being at least 20 feet from a building, you can hear everything in your apartment, you cant even watch a movie at a decent volume without someone complaining, the management does nothing to help with issues you may have, and one of our neighbors was literally creeping on my wife on a regular basis. Find anywhere else because this place is unreliable and will screw you over in the end!
Theyre really nice but its a bit pricy
If you are an army vet and served our country forget it these people will run you out shortly after harassing you daily. Horrible service trash cans are almost always full outside. Dog poop everywhere nobody picks it up. Ugly company to treat an army vet like trash and continue to insult day after day!
Not just my 9 to 5 but also where I call home.
Upstairs neighbours let their dog run around until midnight. Things on the walls would rattle. They were friendly when I talked to them about it, then they started right up again. People here have no respect for their neighbors.
Well run and lots of funπ
Get you apartment fix from these folks.
Beautiful
Way to much for what it is
