I had acrylic nails on when I came in. Instead of soaking them, the wedged a tip under the nail and pried it off. I only allowed this to one nail because it was so painful and damaging my nails so badly. I told her I needed them soaked off. She had a bad attitude and sent me to someone else. We’re I soaked my nails and no attention was paid to me. A new lady came and put hot water under the acetone. It was boiling hot, I told her it was too hot and she pushed my hand in there and told me I needed to do it slowly. It burned my hand. Then, she cut me and I was bleeding and she did not acknowledge that at all. She mounded globs of gel on my nail. Air bubbles and all and cured them. My nails are HORRIBLE. you can see how uneven the layer of polish is. The picture doesn’t actually show the air bubbles as bad as they are. They are rough to the touch. Never coming here again.

They did a good job on my nails. Good. The girl that did my nails wears a chanel necklace, avoid her. I felt like she was rushing which Idk why she would especially since there was only 3 other customer in the salon. My second toe is now red and I’m sure it’s infected. I hope they used clean instruments on me but now I’m not so sure anymore. I’ve already told some of my friends about my experience and we will not be returning to this place anymore.

Took of my acrylics with another acrylic nail which is extremely painful and something I’ve never seen done for a fill. Left me soaking in acetone for 45 mins then after getting to my nails Mary insisted that she could do a design that I showed her. It looked so sloppy and she seemed annoyed the whole time. She also made me bleed twice throughout the manicure and was so rough on my nails. They are actually still sore after.

I got my nails done here and they did such a good job. Everyone was so nice. The technician who did my pedicure gave the best massage. It was awesome! 👏🏻

I’m not from around here and I wanted a set of acrylics and Kevin’s name kept popping up in the reviews! So I asked for Kevin and he did AMAZING. I have had previous bad experiences with acrylic but he clearly knows what he’s doing. I definitely recommend him! Also the staff was great. They offered me a drink and made sure I was comfortable.

This is the second time I’ve visited and I feel some manicures are over priced for the quality of the set and my friend and I went recently and both of us had problems with our sets and neither got what we wanted and weren’t satisfied. I was charged for shape and my coffins look straight and or round and all are different widths. Won’t come again

I came with my two daughters (4&5 years old) to get their nails done with a unicorn and cat design very simple and they rushed it so fast and did not put any effort into doing their nails right. I also said I wanted a pedicure and I sat down and waited for over 30 minutes while other people that came after me when ahead of me. When I finally sat down my feet were in the water for 20 minutes and nobody did anything so I told them I didn’t want the service anymore. Very poor customer service

I love that they have the nail options on the desk and I have yet to be told that they can’t make my nail the shape I want (of course my nails are long enough for the shape I want at the moment). This is the second time I came and Philip did an Amazing job!!! #readyforthanksgiving

This is my second time at this nail place. The first time was ok. Im not really sure who did my nails but I did SNS and they lasted 2 weeks. However this second time around is why I am reviewing. This time my nails were done by Nina. I have to say, this is the best my nails have looked EVER. She really took her time to make sure everything was done correctly. I will definitely go back.

The staff here is very rude. I had a man do my pedicure and nails which every time he would pick my foot up he would pull on it pretty hard. Then I went to go get a full set and I wanted a ballerina tip. he didnt know what that was so I showed him a picture, then he just started to hack away the nails so carelessly theyre not even. AND THEN he charged me $5 for the nail shape like what???? The thickness on each nail is different than the last. Some of them are crooked it was just a bad experience.Then the only nice employee was getting yelled at by someone Im not sure who she was I felt so bad.So basically Im never coming here again it was the worst nail salon Ive ever been too.Although it was very nice and clean but thats about the only good thing I have to say about this place.

Save your money since you’ll be doing some of the work yourself. And they will not correct the situation. Horrible experience, it could have been less horrible if the owner that was sitting right there had done anything at all correct the situation. I don’t understand how anyone can get a pedicure that at no point involves lotioning and massaging the foot. I got to the counter and grabbed the pamphlet because I was more than sure it said lotion massage and it did, so I told them I hadn’t received a lotion massage. Well, once they realized I wasn’t ready to pay yet that I wanted some kind of resolve first they offered to lotion my calves, at no time did I get lotion on my feet and I asked her and she said no. So since when do pedicures come without a foot massage. They didn’t offer a discount or a massage at a later date. Nothing. $40 and I have to lotion and massage my own feet.

I had my toes done by a younger girl. She was very rough. She ended up stabbing or cutting skin on part of my big toe on the side. Its been very painful. Two days later and white puss is coming out of it. It hurts. When she did it, I said my toe hurts bad and she said its okay its not bleeding. I am worried and will not go back. Never have had someone just hack away at my skin. The place looks nice thats all

I have tried every single nail salon from where I live in Port Aransas/Mustang Island, Aransas Pass, Rockport & a couple salons in Corpus Christi & hands down, 100%, I finally found The Perfect Nail Salon, GOSSIP NAILS! I get nonstop compliments even from men & theyre beautiful every time! Thank You!

Always looking forward to getting my nails done here. Never had any problems nor issues. I always go to Andy, he does my SNS. He is an excellent nail tech and very gentle. Highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in trying out this nail salon.

The people were friendly enough - my nails look like I did them at home. The lines arent straight, there is polish all over my fingers and my tips are flat. 75 dollars later and I have to file the tips of my finger nails to make them even and smooth so they dont catch on everything. I will not be returning to this salon due to the sloppiness of the man who did my nails.

Just moved back to CC, so this was the first place I tried. Needed a new acrylic set. Wanted a French manicure. Girl left bubbles in the acrylic and the ends uneven. When she finished (she didn’t know how to do a French, obviously) she just got up and walked off! The manager had to finish, and it was a horrible job! Within a week 3 nails peeled up and the polish was coming off! Never going back!

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my life!!! The guy hurt me while filing my nails and rushed through every single step throughout the whole pedicure. The salon was empty. I completely missed the part where I got a leg message, because he applied the lotion while my legs were still soaken wet to basically take it right off. I figured he would at least do a decent job painting my toe nails, but it’s very spotty and translucent on every nail. I will never go back here ever again.

I got my pedicure done today and very frustrated. I do not understand why would they always say mean things in Vietnamese in front of me even though that is my first language! Also, he painted my toes so ugly and not careful at all. Unprofessional and impolite

This is my usual but went to another salon. My nails were thick and even after the so called fix. Went to Gossip Nails and got a perfect set of fabulous nails.

This was the worst experience ever. The guy burned me with towels and rocks. The massage was soo bad. I swear I will have bruises on my legs from his fingers. He also cut my big toe. I will never come back and I for sure will never recommend this place! Worst place ever! Not to mention the pedicure chairs here are falling apart and suck too!

This place is so bad. The owner/Manager is so arrogant!! Service is bad as well.They have so many employees however,not only do they take so long, they really dont know what they are doing. Male employee burn my legs with hot towels!! The massage was so painful!! Owner is so rude!! Talks loud and critical to employees. Be careful if you go here to have eyelash extensions applied. The girl who did mine glued the ends of my eyes together! She waxed my eyebrows until they are now very sparse.

I would rate in the negatives if I could. This last time the girl sliced my finger open with the drill and it took forever to stop bleeding. Then she continued to apply polish on the open area, which burned like hell. They werent apologetic and didnt give me any kind of discount. Days later, my thumb still hurts. And the first time I went, they burned me with the hot towel. Will NEVER go back again!

There is always a long wait! They are supposed to close at 9pm. One time I went in at 8:10pm just for a pedicure which takes 20 mins. and they said they took their last client at 8:30 and made me leave. Mind you that was way more than enough time to do me and they had a lot of employees just sitting doing nothing. will never go back

I waited what seemed like forever they have no pricing available on anything other than at a table which if your already seatedat you can see. And its only a 5.00 chart showing for shape and legnth. I was surprised when i was charged $50.00 for my nails and i didnt do anything extra no bling just coffin shaped they came out nice but just wish they had pricing available.

Worst experience and pedicure EVER! My review is for the Gossip Nails location 2 off Saratoga. She literally didnt do one thing to my nails just started to polish them. When I asked her if she was going to even FILE them at least, cuticle care, etc. her response was oh you want to file them? !!!!!!!!!!!! Uhhh yes thats what the main part of a pedicure is! Im leaving here with the same nails I came in with. So disappointed. I never write reviews, and I rarely have time to treat myself. Waste of money and time! Will NEVER go back!

Horrible. I wanted two simple stripes and he made them completely crooked, the metallic strip came up and tore off my nail an hour after getting them done. He never spoke or tried to make a little conversation. Talked on his phone more than half of the time. First and last time ever going here.

Charged $15 to file my nails and they ended up very uneven then wanted to charge another $5 for the buffer block. Been going here for 3 years and never had to pay so much for so little. Very disappointed.

I wish I could leave a zero star review. I came in for the first time to this salon today. The way I was greeted should have been reason enough for me to leave...but I really wanted a mani pedi so I stuck around.I explained to my technician that I wanted pink on my toes and I wanted French on my hands. She repeatedly told me other things would be better aka a solid color.... she was clearly in a rush. She made multiple comments that a French cost more etc....I didnt care about the cost, but I wanted what I was asking for... she sisnt listen and instead continued to put pink on my nails. A different pink than on my toes!She was frustrated clearly and wanted to be done asap. I was in comfortable and begain feeling abused as she kept slamming her drawer on the table and yanking my hands and fingers around rushing through my mani.I have never been made to feel so unwelcome and mistreated while paying to have any services like this done.Once she was done and I paid, i assessed some of the issues and she didnt even care! Her response was a chuckle, then she your not happy!!?? And called out to her Male friend that was waiting out side... he was a large guy. I feel like they were trying to intimidate me.At that point I was scared but thankful my husband was waiting in the parking lot to pick me up!!This experience was a nightmare!

Very disappointed. I just moved to Corpus and this was the first nail salon I have gone to. The first few times there I was very happy with the outcome and they have a ton of colors. This last time I went a guy named Kevin did my nails and from the beginning there were issues. He couldnt do mood gel because he had to give me a new set and they csnt mix the gel. he didnt have alot of shellac colors when I knew he was lying there was a bucket full of colors and i have been thetr several times. Needless to say I wont be back he put a bad taste in my mouth and that really sucks because the owners are really cool but I refuse to get my nails done at a place that over charges and that has excuses about what they can and cant do. Spent 74 bucks on a pedicure and a fill which was ridiculous. #ripoff

I got my nails done on a saturday and they were acrylics and the guy was extremely rude the entire time didnt ask me my preferences at all on my nails (every single place ive ever been to has asked) and this guy did whatever he wanted and painted my nails horribly to begin with it was splotchy and all over my fingers and he cut up the sides of my fingers while filing and then on sunday two of the nails broke off while i was just playing with my dog so nothing that would break a nail and it be my fault and i got them fixed on monday and he fixed the paint and the two nails and on wednesday another one broke and theyre already chipping this is the worst manicure i have ever recieved i will never go back to this place again and ive been telling everyone i know this place is horrible i dont know how you can screw up this bad on acrylics ive never had these problems

I recieved gift cards for Christmas but I didnt know where it was located so of course I Google mapped it and I saw reviews and I have never been there so I wanted go see what ppl had to say and after reading I was pretty scared to go but it was beautiful inside, good music, relaxing, and clean they did an excellent job pedicure and full set were very nice and would definitely go back.
