In my last purchase, unfortunately the listing agent was trying to force us to break our contract (so he could shake us down for more money) but Town & Country protected us.. As with the other reviewers we used their services by the choice of the listing company that has done business with them in the past for transactions. Lord knows why they continue to use them!! Not only was the escrow officer I dealt with lazy and unable to properly answer any of my emails, but she was unapologetic when our escrow was delayed due to their errors. I sent an email and asked for someone to call me and update me on the closing, and NO ONE ever called! Not once!!I know that the real estate market here in California has been really bad and that the people in this industry might be kinda of jaded but give me a break! The family who was buying our house was a first time homeowner and they now have a bad taste in their mouth about buying due to Town & Country.If you have a choice with your bank, or agent do not use their services! They just simply dont care! You are just a number to them at the end of the day!
