I dont care what they say it took 5 days for a letter to be delivered from one charlotte post office box to another post office box in charlotte.The mail delivery has slowed down.

I moved to Cornelius about 28 months ago. One of the nicest surprise has been the people who work at the local post office. They are so pleasant and so professional. They get things done quickly and efficiently while still being helpful and polite. Thanks to everyone at the Cornelius US Post Office!

So if youre looking for a package to be delivered at one of the local business, dont bother.Twice Ive ordered items to come to our store and twice the items were returned. They dont even to try and deliver them, just return to sender. When you walk into the local Post Office, explain the issue. You will hear speak with the post master. Clearly that is as useless as asking you guys to do your job correctly. No one got off their A$& to even leave to deliver the package. For a government agency you guys really suck. I have yet to see one Post Office that cares about doing their job.

Anytime i have an issue with my package it is always resolved promptly when i call in. That all u can ask for from the post office considering how busy they are daily

For the most part I dont have any issues but special holidays I sometimes dont get some of my cards or the other end doesnt get theres. Seems like someone is looking for money or gift cards. Today one of my very easy to open packages was already opened upon delivery as if someone was checking to see if they wanted what was inside. Guess they didnt care for it, since I got it.

Service here for me has always been good but I am deducting two stars for the awful layout. When this place gets crowded (due to how small the customer area is inside) its a logistical nightmare for folks trying to get in and out of the building through the front doors. It would be a great service to customers if the self-service kiosk was AWAY from the front doors.As for those who have voiced complaints about service and gotten responses deemed unsuitable, take your complaints to the Postmaster General of the United States, either by phone or via the USPS website. This applies to complaints regarding ANY U.S. post office/employee. Commendations/praise can be noted this way as well.

They are so great here! They go out of their way to help and are always so kind! My only wish would be that they expand the office since it’s tiny!

Automatic postage machine ran out of paper to print postage. There was no error message or way to know this until the postage wasn’t printed. Payment was still taken. Very disappointing.

The ladies that run the counter in this office are awesom!!! They know what the are doing, they are quick and efficient and they are friendly and kind. And best of all, they will help you get exactly what you need.

Multiple times a package as shown on tracking as delivered and it wasn’t. Multiple times packages have been left at the wrong house and it’s up to my neighbor to bring it to my house. Customer service line is pointless as you never are given an opportunity to speak to a human.

What a horrible post office. Unfortunately the manager falls right in the same category.I was notified I had a letter for pick up and that it was be ready at 8am. When I arrived they wouldnt give me the letter even though staff was there until their open timemof 8:30.Because their employee made a mistake and wrote the wrong time for pick-up they were unwilling to make it right.Will never send anything via usps again if possible.Everyone should consider doing the same especially with all the electronic payment apps available today.There is a reason USPS is going under, and Im glad their employee is contributing.

We are very pleased with our carrier on the Peninsula, and those people working behind the counter at the Cornelius post office are most helpful and friendly!

The woman who answers the phone is extremely rude. There was something I didnt understand and asked her to look up my tracking number. She refused to do so for my reassurance. I called the huntersville post office who was extremely helpful and come to find out my package had been sent back to the company when the Cornelius woman told me is receive it in 10 days so she gave me completely wrong information. I also called the other day to ask to stop receiving mail of the previous owners of my home. She said the currier would drop a slip for me to fill out and pick up the old owners mail. That did not happen either.

HORRIBLE! I dont even know why I waste money on PO Box there because all that ever gets delivered is mail for the previous 3 PO box owners and junk mail. Meanwhile, all of my mail seems to get lost. Have complained to the workers on numerous occasions over the past 2 years and absolutely no improvement.

Shipping out mail there is a breeze! The workes whom Ive dealt with are very nice.

This is the worst post office on the planet and a good reason never to move to Cornelius. The postmaster is rude and screams at customers. The mail carriers deliver mail to the wrong address, put mail in the newspaper box where it gets wet, flies down the street, falls into the mud and gets destroyed. Many days the mail never gets delivered. All complaints are ignored.

They never answer their phone and are very uninviting when in person.

Horrible service. I was just informed that I missed jury duty this morning. I never received any summons in the mail. Thanks for really messing up my day. And I really wish I could give you a zero star.

I agree with the other reviews/reviewers. This post office is terrible. The people that work there are very rude as a general rule. Always short, unfriendly, unhelpful and act put out by every question or request. Postal delivery is haphazard. 2 years ago, we were awaiting my husbands wedding ring days before we were to leave for GA for our wedding. The postal worker of our route punched in that it was delivered. But it wasnt in our box, and when I called the PO, they told me it was signed for! Noone at my house signed for it, so we wereof course sent into an utter panic! Come to find out, she was in the neighborhood, and hadnt yet delivered it, but marked it as delivered, AND she SIGNED FOR IT! I was LIVID! As one can imagine, days before leaving for our out of town wedding, with SO MUCH going on, and so much to worry about, to have this happen, and have the wearabouts of this very custom ring be unknown, was Extreemly upsetting. I did call to basically rip her a new one for all this, and they assured me shed be dealt with, but when she finally hand delivered the ring to me a few hours later, her apology was laced with anger for my having to report her and this issue. Before all this, she was friendly and would wave, after - Not so much. Too bad she couldnt own her bad judgment and go out of her way to rebuild trust and be nice. Nope.

Ive been using this Post Office for 15yrs and had maybe one or two bad experiences. Dont remember what they were. Not that important to remember. Maybe if I got as emotional about it as these one star rating cry babies than I would remember. One bad apple doesnt mean theyre all bad. After reading some of these comments I can tell its not all the post workers or Post Office fault. The women who was waiting on a wedding ring took a gamble there. Something that important and time sensitive couldve been lost or stolen in transit and no wedding ring. Have it picked up at the local jeweler that it was purchased from. If they dont have it in time becuase of carrier fault they will replace or loan a ring. Also the guy who wouldnt move to Cornelius because he had a bad experience. Guesse what man? Cornelius wouldnt want someone as judgemental and petty as you. Im sure your local USPS is perfect, you come in there and they give you coffee, back rubs, and read you your mail.The Post Office is like the DMV. They get allot of jerks and ignorant people on a daily basis. Deal with these kind of people every day on your job and tell me if your attitude doesnt change a bit. I find if your nice, patient and respectul youl get further in what you want.As to why I dont give it 5 stars is because I rarely do according to my high standards. The USPS system can be tightened up but Im satisfied for what I pay for. As long as I dont have to wait for my correspondence or packages to be delivered by horse Im happy to wait for it.

Im beginning to think our delivery person doesnt know how to read... Letters or numbers.. Smh. I had my neighbors mail, she had ours and so did the neighbor on the other side..

Awful service. I never get my mail. They are incompetent and stupid.

We put our mail on hold while out of town,however, it was still being delivered! I called the PO but it didnt help- they continued to deliver! On the day we asked to have our mail delivered - a month later- they piled ALL the mail in our mailbox ! Thanks to all my neighbors that collected my mail and kept it while we were away!

The people are rude. They couldnt tell me why my packaged was returned, would not refund my money, told me to Google the zip code I sent it to and call that post office. I will never never mail a package with the post office again and especially in Cornelius. You cant rate below a 1 star or I would have.
