Relocated for my job and really wanted to be on the lake. Stumbled onto Bexley Lake Norman and fell in love! Not only is it on Lake Norman, theres a trail for hiking and a nice workout room and pool. I like that it is tucked in the trees, but you still have a lot to do close by and Charlotte is just down the interstate. I have been very happy with my stay so far.

I cant say enough about our neighborhood! My neighbors are all so friendly and keep an eye out for one another. The staff here all smile and wave when they see you. My requests for repair are always completed in a timely manner. I love the apartments have the comforts of a house, granite countertops and stainless steel. My patio has a screen to keep the bugs out and looks at the lake. I love calling Bexley at Lake Norman my home and will do so for many years to come.

After touring several complexes in the Lake Norman area, Bexley at Lake Norman is 5 *****! I started the process a few months ago and relocated from another state. The entire staff is Fantastic: Leasing, Managers, and Maintenance. Everyone went above and beyond to make this an excellent move-in experience for me. Professional, kind, and knowledgeable! The buildings are Very Well maintained and quiet, the grounds are impeccable, well-landscaped, and spotless. Resort-like conditions!

My wife and I moved to Bexley Lake Norman in mid-2019. We love it here! The office and maintenance staff are friendly, professional, and very responsive to any needs or concerns. The community is well maintained and it feels like home. We just renewed our lease for a 3rd year and look forward to enjoying the pool with the warmer weather approaching.

People here are incredibly nice, the maintenance people are extremely responsive. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and the amenities are wonderful. We love it here. I love the forest pathway along the lake. And everyone is pet friendly!

I have lived here for five years and do not want to leave. The location is extremely convenient to everything, the property is beautiful and quiet, there is direct access to Lake Norman, the floor plans are spacious and well-designed, and the community is safe and pet-friendly. The maintenance team (Bill, Chris, and Antonio) is awesome, helpful, and reliable. I can always count on them to handle any issues I may have. Always. One request made to Bill, the maintenance supervisor, is instantly granted, either by him or the team. The front office staff is courteous and quick to resolve issues. I love it here:)

Been living here for nearly a year now. I really enjoy it. The office staff have been helpful to the small concerns Ive had and really were a big help when I moved in. Also, Ive only had one problem since I moved in (washing machine clogged up) and the maintenance team came and fixed it within the same day. They are also very nice and always have a treat ready when I am out walking my dog. Was only going to stay here a year but have since decided to live here indefinitely. And the price compared to others in the area is VERY good for the size and amenities.

I just moved in here from Bexley Rosedale in Huntersville. I had a great experience at Rosedale so I transferred here to be closer to my horse in Mooresville and Bexley did not disappoint. I love it here and Logan and Roger at the office were so very welcoming and helpful. They answered all my questions and helped me with some move-in issues. Bexley is top notch. Maintenance people are super friendly and helpful and the property is really well-maintained. I love that I can walk my dog around on the little dirt path down by the lake. The fitness center (now finally open!) is clean and bright and pleasant.

We’ve lived here for 3 years. The Bexley team at Lake Norman is very friendly, and professional! They work hard to keep the property beautiful and convenient for all residents. Between the lake view with trail, pool, and the gorgeous landscape in the spring..it’s an ideal location to thrive in!

In the clubhouse the gym has a weight machine that has been broke for almost 3 months now. Coffee machine has been broke for what 2 weeks now? Are these things getting fixed?Its now 7/14 machine still broke you guys need help contacting someone for the broken gym machine?

I have lived here for 8 months and I have loved it. Spacious layout, really like the hardwood/vinyl floors and the screened in patio is great (expect bugs due to being on the lake, go with screened patio vs not screened). I walk my dog on the trail around the lake almost every day. Gym and public computers/printers are convenient too. Office and maintenance staff are very friendly. Other residents I met are courteous and friendly also.

I have lived here for 6 months with my girlfriend and when we first moved in we had nothing but problems with noise issues above us. We did everything we were supposed to and everyone in the offices acknowledged it was a problem and unacceptable but we’re never able or we’re to lazy to do anything about it. Those neighbors have since moved out and have recently been replaced with a 100lb+ dog and two adults who walk like stampeding buffalo. We have captured many times Of excessive noise to the point where I have lost business from not being able to make the necessary phone calls for my job. They have not done anything about it and when presented with it are blowing us off. They suggest we move apartments but would not offer us any open apartments which they promised they would and refused to cover any of the costs associated with moving apartments.

I relocated from NJ to NC during the pandemic and the process could not have been any easier. Logan made sure that my apartment was unlocked for me after I spent 9 hours in the car. The maintenance staff are great guys and friendly. Logan has gone above and beyond for searching for misdelivered packages, leasing questions and anything else I need. Pretty happy here

We moved here end of August 2018 and have had no issues. In fact, the team here is amazing. Super friendly and always willing to help. The people in the office at the clubhouse always have a smile on their face and make sure to stop and say hello. The maintenance guys are awesome as well! So down to earth and easy to talk to. They all make it feel like home. And they always have a treat for our dog. ☺️ We got super lucky. We love having the lake in or back yard and an amazing pool / grilling area. My husband and I moved here July 2018. We have been very happy. The grounds are kept up beautifully. We have had no issues at all. Everyone is friendly, staff and other tenants. I have even talked a friend into moving here. We just signed our lease for another year. They keep the grounds up beautifully. All issue involving matintence are answered quickly and done professionally. We highly recommend living here Bexley at Lake Norman Apartments.

I wrote a review 4 years ago relating how I loved living at Bexley Lake Norman. Recently I returned to Bexley and am writing to say, if possible, I love this property even more. I love living here and as I am older, plan to stay for life. I feel as if Ive come home! The staffs, both maintenance and management are outstanding. Helpful, professional, and friendly. In addition, the other residents are fantastic. I have met so many truly wonderful people that I hope will be friends for life. In addition, so many people have been here for years, 12 plus years! That certainly speaks to the quality of Bexley and the way of life here. This is an outstanding property and trust me, there is nothing to match it in the area. The location and grounds are perfection, the apartment amenities are exceptional and tasteful, plus it is peaceful and quiet here. This the best one can have!

Brand new to the area we needed a place to set up our home base and learn about the surrounding area. This proved to be an excellent location for that. Close to everything we do, lots of green space, and tucked back in with the lake there is a great walking/running trail. If you take a look at the build quality, its higher than the competing apartments. Maintenance is proactive. Theyre not waiting around for things to fall apart. Its overall been a great experience. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

As part of our downsizing plans, we moved to Bexley Lake Norman over a year ago. This was our first experience with apartment living in decades, and we did not know what to expect. We are DELIGHTED with everything about Bexley Lake Norman. The office staff is professional, personable, and responsive to our concerns. When we report a maintenance issue--no matter how large or small--it is common for Bill, Chris, or other staff to fix it that same day. The club house and pool areas are attractive and immaculate. The fitness center is open, light, and a pleasant place to work out. As a fitness professional and personal trainer, I know that the equipment in the fitness space is top-notch. The lake setting and walking trails are wonderful. This is a genuinely friendly apartment community. The staff often plans for community parties or events which provide opportunities for residents to meet and mingle. Whether someone lives here for a short time, or for a longer period like us, Bexley Lake Norman feels like home. --Gwynn Lindler

I moved here in August 2014. It was the best decision ever. From the apartment, to the location but I really appreciate the Front Office and Maintence Teams. They as well as great neighbors make it hard to leave. Beautiful grounds and it is so quiet as well as relaxing. If I wasnt relocating in a month, I would have renewed my lease again. I have been living here since April and absolutely love it! The staff and facilities are amazing! Its an extremely nice and safe place to live and you can tell that the management and all the staff really take pride and care of their residents and the facility! Love my home here! I have been very impressed with the level of professionalism shown by the office staff as well as the maintenance guys. Also the maintenance guys are very quick to take care of any issues I have had in my home.Over all I would say this is a great place to call home and I look forward to spending my summer relaxing by our lake or our pool!

Amazing Apartment place. My kids were able to walk back and forth without disturbing the neighbors. However, I was kicked out for having a non-remodeled apartment, which is why I removed a star. I now live somewhere else, and our neighbors hate it when they walk back and forth.Anyways, I do love this place. The pool is outstandingly amazing. One of my kids cannot swim, and there is a big, nice area for him to hang out.Thank you for making this an actual place! I would recommend this to anyone.

My experience here since November, 2018 has been nothing but spectacular. From the super hard working and friendly maintenance staff, who quickly resolved an issue for us right on move in, and since have promptly changed light bulbs and done preventative maintenance (Bill, Chris and Antonio are amazing). The staff have been friendly, helpful, and knowledgable, always able to answer my questions and open to hear about ways to improve the property (Rachel, Joseph and Marquitta have been excellent). Our apartment is beautiful and the grounds themselves are worth every penny. The 3 mile trail around the lake is breathtaking.

Best front office staff Ive ever experienced at an apartment complex. Very knowledgeable, easy to contact, and always willing to help. The apartments themselves are spacious, well equipped, and quite peaceful. The 24/7 access to the gym is great for anyone with a busy schedule lastly the trail out by the lake is very nice to go for a run on.

As a current resident of Bexley Lake Norman, I am impressed by all of the on site amenities and disappointed that I do not take advantage of these enough!! Great swimming area, fully equipped gym, tennis court, nature trail, etc. This apartment community is constantly up-keeping the lawns, and making sure everything is in working order. Maintenance has always been in the next day to fix what is needed without causing any disturbance. The pest control vendor is very professional and diligent in his work as well.Erica, the leasing consultant is absolutely amazing. The amount of professionalism she presents is something very rare to experience. She ALWAYS answers any questions I have and will go above and beyond her job role to make sure the residents are happy. It is very hard to find someone that has the awesome charisma and work ethic she presents. Thank you so much for keeping our community together Erica!

Ive lived here for 3.5 years now and couldnt be happier. The apartments are very nice and spacious. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and quick to assist with any issues. The clubhouse, gym, office center, and pool area have all been recently updated. I would recommend Bexley at Lake Norman to everyone.

This place used to be cool, but its no longer the case with new management. Very poor service now. We were very disappointed and left. Erica was awesome.

Bexley has been me and my roommates place for a few months now. The grounds are well maintained and everyone in the community is friendly. Boy let me tell you the ladies in the office are not only beautiful to look at but are friendly to me and my pup and have to tolerate me with endless package deliveries. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

Visited this property.... beautiful apartments and very well maintained grounds. Office and maintenance staff are friendly and professional.

The one and only time my autopay didnt work the management quickly charged a few hundred of attorney and court fees (thats on top of the returned payment and late fees which are of course understandable) without even letting me know in advance! The court date is all set up and my credit history damaged just like that! They say they tried to reach us but therere no missed calls/voice mails. Its not like they were risking losing money - they do have our security deposit. I would expect a bit of courtesy. Its not like I ever before paid rent late in over 2 years of living here. Never again Im recommending this place to anyone. Im truly disappointed. On top of that this place is never too clean: they never clean swimming pool, the showers at the pool didnt work this whole summer, dog poop everywhere, stairways in apartment buildings are extremely dirty even after you make numerous complaints, coffee machine is often broken and is not good anyways. The lake is nice but its constantly dry with lots of trash laying around and nobody cleans it. Gym is decent and pool is pretty big size which I always liked, but other than that... Cant wait to move out.

If you dont mind having your neighbors feet stomping above you and their kids running back and forth waking you every morning then this is the place for you. I am only writing this because I am so tired of not waking up on my own. The noise of both neighbors bathroom exhaust fans will drive you crazy also. The management has an excellent team but they can only do so much. Being on the second floor I have the worst location because I get the cigarette smell from the downstairs unit and the extremely loud noises from the upstairs unit. Please check out the actual apartment you are going to rent at different times of day. Dont get sucked in on the model they show you. Good luck.

Kelly and Erica are outstanding! They both are very professional and attentive to the tenants needs and requests. If there was a maintenance issue, the guys were there quickly and they were very friendly. We did have a few concerns. 1. When it snowed, there was no snow removal on the walkways to the apartments. It was very icy. However, they did the office walkway immediately. 2. Landscaping maintenance left alot to be desired. Sometimes there was trash ie. food or bottles, left around in the ground cover or bushes. Also dog poop on the grass. Other than those two things, we loved living at Bexley Lake Norman.

Management is awful! I cannot express enough how badly I regret moving here. Let’s not forget to mention that things in the complex just happen to get worse when I posted my initial review.. hmm funny how that works out.

Lived here 2 years.Pros:Really nice appliances and hardwood floors and carpet are nice (1st floor for hardwood).Maintenance is GREAT, will literally be out to your apartment same day or next day to fix issues. If it is an AC/Heat issue they will be out within hours (even on their day off).Staff was great at first, really loved Erica and she seemed to know everyones name who lived there.Pool area - Really nice for get togethersCons:Kinda pricey, I started out paying 956 per month for a 1 bed. By the time I left I was forced to have my price increase to 1030 per month or leave. I was moving out of state anyways, but 1 bedrooms are about 1100+ per month now, and I personally would not pay this much .Internet: MI Connections is the worst.... thats your only option... so if you dont mind having the most absolute awful internet (that is also expensive) then do not move here. They have fiber internet/tv through Spectrum and ATT everywhere but here. Also the staff will tell you that We are getting ATT soon ..... well its been 2 years, and they still havent gotten it.Pets - initial fees (300 for first then 150 per additional I believe) then you pay 15 per month per pet... expensive.Mosquitos - These apartments are on the lake so there are TONS of mosquitos and they get into your apartment. Very annoying.Layout - Layout is kind of weird... they have a big whole in the wall where you either put your TV or make a shelving of some sort as decoration... I think it was originally for tube TVs in the 80s-90s. But it restricts how you can layout your living room.Gym - Doesnt have many options outside of free weights and treadmills... 1/3 treadmills has had a broken screen on it since I moved there.Grills - Grills are NEVER cleaned. You pretty much have to use aluminium foil under your food in order to feel good about eating it.Staff today - There are a few good staff members now, but there are also a couple that have no sense of urgency to help people that come into the office. I was in there with 3 other people (all of us to pick up packages and none of us were greeted). And the lady working seen us, took another couple on a tour of all the apartments without talking to a single one of us. When she could have easily grabbed 3 packages and then gave the tour, but she didnt bother to even say hello or where she was going or when she would be back. Kind of frustrating after the customer service there was so good the first 6 months I lived there.

Lies and incompetence from the Beginning. While these apartments are located in a good community where safety is not a concern the incompetence and lies of the staff make this an apartment complex to avoid. From the beginning I had to fight with management who tried to retract my apartment that I had selected and was in process of finalizing rental agreement papers for, all because the property manager had an un-official and un-documented side deal with a current resident that wanted the apartment. Upon move in the apartment was disgusting, we had to request a cleaning crew come in and clean the apartment prior to unpacking. The flooring had damages to it and was covered in paint from where they painted the walls, places in the ceiling had the textured “popcorn” coating coming off in large section. The shower had been poorly caulked so Mold grew under the caulk. Not to mention the constant struggle with bugs namely centipedes. We did get the ceiling repaired but it was done poorly and they only fixed the worst portion left the rest to slowly degrade over time. The common areas appeared nice as long as you didn’t look to closely, they are good a giving the appearance of cleanliness but it is far from the truth. Our first and only time my wife and I had out 18 month old son in the pool we were approached by another resident who warned us about a large amount of feces that was sitting at the opposite end of the pool. They had removed their children and notified the office about an hour prior to that and nothing had been done since, they had not even sent someone down to analyze the situation. Upon notice of move out the office personnel became very difficult to work with. As some of this is probably of my own fault for trusting people, it is sad that a business would operate on lies. This apartment was temporary while we shopped for a new home. The leasing consultant I worked with in the beginning ensured me that they would work with me on move out as it would be difficult to give more than a 30 day notice due to contracts of a new home and being confident the sale would go thru. She made me feel very comfortable about being able to provide a 30 day notice without a penalty, as “they work with people like that all the time”. I also worked with this same consultant upon move in as we discovered more issues/damages who said she would add these items to the move in inspection documentation, she did not. Therefore, we were charged for damages done to the vinyl flooring. Flooring that was already damaged prior to our move in and is so cheap any furniture with any weight will cut thru over time, so add entrapment of damages to their rap sheet. Never at any point did they go above and beyond in customer service (other than telling me what I wanted to hear in the sales pitch) nor did they show any remorse for the deceitful way they run that place. I would warn anyone from renting from these people or any other Weinstein property, but if you must, then get everything in writing and verify what one person tells you with someone else. I can’t tell you how many times I got conflicting information from the consultants/management, but hey it’s hard to keep all those lies straight or maybe their incompetence is just that unbelievable .

I visited Bexley at Lake Norman with my wife on Saturday 6-15-2013.We were quickly and nicely greeted by Kristen Kimmer who I must say is a wonderful person to have representing your company.Kristen very effectively interviewed my wife, Deborah N. Smith. Kristen discovered her wants and needs by asking great questions. Once she had the information, Kristen took Deborah to the exact right unit which fit her needs.Kristen demonstrated all of the things which were important to Deborah personally and gave an excellent presentation of the property.I was very impressed as was Deborah and as a result Kristen sealed that deal immeadiatly.Associates like Kristen are few and far between these days. She did an excellent job from start to finish and has been very helpful since. This type of professionalism is above and beyond.I commend Kristen and would recommend your properties anytime the opportunity arises because of Kristen. You are very fortunate to have such a smart and caring associate getting the job done for you in spectacular fashion!I recommend raising her pay immeadiatly. We moved here from New York City the end of 2009. We enjoy the apartment and the general quietness of the complex. There is a beautiful walking trail that follows the bank of Lake Norman thats just breath-taking. There are multiple areas on the complex where cooking grills are available for residents to use. The other amenities on the complex are good. Others complain about the gate not working but that has not been an issue for me. I also see the Cornelius Police patrolling the area regularly. The customer service is very good and they respond to our maintenance concerns with urgency. The main office staff is also excellent and always willing to assist us aand answer questions.I have also heard of a few car breakins which seems to be a problem in the general area. Everyday I come home to the feel of being on vacation. There is free wifi by the pool which is very relaxing to relax and do so computer related tasks.

I absolutely love this place!! I am not accustomed with apartment living and moved from Raleigh because of my job in Mooresville. I loved at nine different complexes from Mooresville to Huntersville and feel in love with the floor plan and Ericka (my Leasing Agent). We connected almost immediately. The 24/7 fitness center has Life Fitness equipment and is nicer than the gym. I use the gas grills at the pool on a regular basis. Any complaint or issue I tell Ericka, she is on it and it is handled with a smile (regardless of how silly it may sound). The maintenance team always completes my requests within 24-48 hours. Lastly, the have free coffee in the office and the machine dispenses three different StarBuck coffees, and grinds the beans!!I am a very selective person and really decided to go with the property because of the floor plan and the kindness of my Leasing Agent.

The only thing nice about the place is the maintenance staff....we have called the office repeatedly for the non resident visits to the lake ...and all the locals that come by to use the amenities ......the say (we will handle it) but they dont......the new manger janice even took it upon herself to have our live-in cornelius police officer fired for being loud with her ???? but she doesnt live here so why should she care. As a result we have no security officer, no security gate, no luxury lol....and no lake access.....so i am trying to figure out why we are paying all the extra money if there are no extras.

Theverything apartments are very noisy. Property manager and leasing consultants are very disrespectful and rude.
