I called to make an appointment to get my hair colored. The receptionist who answered the phone sounded like she hates her life and her place of employment. I wanted to schedule an appointment to get highlights and the receptionist started giving me an attitude about the terminology for the services because she didn’t hear me CORRECTLY ask for the specific service I wanted. If the receptionist is like this I can only imagine the rest of the staff, so glad I dodged that experience.

It’s a shame when a place says they close at a certain time and you show up 35mins before closing and the doors are locked and everyone inside just turns their back as if you don’t exist and will not acknowledge your presence. WAS going to get the wife and mother in law each a $200 gift card for Mother’s Day, but won’t be coming back here with the attitudes I got without even walking in.

W Salon is the best salon I have ever been to. I grew up in Pasadena, California and had access to many lovely salons in Southern California. W is so clean and helpful for all the salon activities. The cosmetologists are excellent. Even the New York salons do not measure up to W.

I got a balayage from allison and she did such a great job for a first session. there was another nice lady that did a blow dry and curling, i forget the name but everyone here was so friendly. the location is nice and not busy and the prices are pretty good.

Ive been taking my niece and nephew here for years. They do such an amazing job and are so friendly. The salon is clean and they have the seats that look like cars so my nephew loves to sit in them. Weve had a few birthday parties and they were flawless. Great services and friendly faces.

Melanie is an amazingly talented stylist, and colorist. Ive trusted her with my hair for years from 1 to 20 inches and platinum to chocolate color. The salon is always spotless with great service. I never have any reservations recommending her to anyone looking.

It is very hard to find a good hair stylist and a salon that you love it come to. Barbara and the W is this for me. Barbara has been doing my hair for years now, and she is excellent. If you going to a special occasion,, Barbara is your girl. Up-dos are amazing and your hair becomes a work of art. My other fellow reviewers have it correct the shampoo experience is amazing. If you try the deep conditioning treatment, it lasts longer (lol). I get a treatment with every hair color. The place is clean, professional, a tad bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

There was one lovely lady in particular who washed my daughters hair a few weeks ago, who refused her tip and gave it back to her to go buy herself candy! HOW NICE?!!!! Great staff, wonderful building, top of the line and state of the art equipment in there. This place is the best salon in Coral Springs. It caters not only to Coral Springs upper class, but also to those across the Sawgrass in Parkland which is a very rich town. But despite the high clientele, the prices are well worth it and very fair.

I have to admit, that I am not a review writer, however my experience at W Salon deserves one. I have never been to the salon before, and the woman who made my appointment really took the time to listen to what I was looking for, in order to find me the right stylist. I was scheduled with Alison. I couldnt be happier! She was attentive, thoughtful, and creative. My haircut is beautiful and I will definitely be back and would recommend her to my dearest friends. From the time you enter, to the time you leave, everyone was amazing!

The salon management and front desk are very nice and professional. However my experience with stylist Sara was very disappointing. She was rude and standoffish and after a brief consultation I could not get out of there fast enough. 2 days prior I had a counsel with her husband absolutely the nicest guy. He quoted me a price and made me feel like I was going to be in good hands with Sara. Unfortunately the minute I sat down in her chair the original quoted price went out the window. She started adding up extra costs like toner fee etc. The money is not even the biggest problem. It was her negative vibe and attitude that made me leave the salon without service.

Everybody that works here is super nice. Ive been twice now for a manicure. Once with Vicky and once with Samantha. Both are fantastic. The one time that Vicky did my nails she went above and beyond searching the entire store for someone to braid my beard. It was an extremely busy Saturday afternoon and she could have easily moved on to her next appointment but made sure that I was completely satisfied before I left her care. I would definitely recommend this salon over any other that Ive been to.

Since 3 years ago I go to this place. It is always clean, organized, the decoration is beautiful, and all the staff is very friendly and professional. My stylist is Berlinda and she does a very good job. I love this place, 100% recommended!

The salon itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated, and I so wanted to give a good review but I have to state the facts. I wanted a short texturized bob haircut with layers. About 2 months ago, Stylist #1 cut my hair and styled it beautifully. And it continued to look great until I washed it two days later and found out that it was not the actual cut that made it look nice, but all the styling and straightening. I returned and asked her to fix it, and her response was that the climate, the texture of my hair, and the lack of adequate styling effort on my part was the reason it did not look the way I wanted. I walked out and reached out to the manager, who very kindly set me up with another stylist, who is actually very experienced. This gentleman did cut my hair once, a few years ago, after someone else in the same salon had butchered it. That time, the cut was amazing and I loved it (I did return to him a few months after that, but did not get the same result). He does listen intently and educates you on what he is doing, which is great. And my hair did look beautiful when I left his chair this time. Then I washed it a couple of days later, and realized that nothing was fixed, it was only shorter. The top layers were way too short and very bulky, and the bottom front layers were way too texturized and looked stringy. My hair just did not have any flow. The truth is simple: a well done haircut will fall into place after you towel dry it. Of course, spending more time on it will get you a more flawless look. But the point is that if it looks bad and keeps looking even worse as it grows, it is a poor haircut. Friends tell me to give it time to grow out, but why did I have to go to an expensive salon and spend a total of $82 hard earned dollars ($62 plus two $10 tips, one for each stylist) just to wait for a bad cut to grow out? I already had a bad haircut before I went there. Yesterday was seven weeks and I could no longer stand looking at it, so I stopped at a Great Clips salon in Parkland (Waterways Plaza) and had Julia fix it. She confirmed everything I knew and showed me why it was cut incorrectly, then she fixed it. Now it looks awesome. I so wanted to like Salon W and to have finally found a good stylist to go to on a permanent basis, but that did not happen. I would even embrace a haircut that looks different from what I wanted, as long as it is correctly done. I am giving Salon W an extra star because they made the effort to do the right thing, but in the end what matters to me is how my hair looks. I know that creative people have their off days, but for the money I spent there, I was entitled to a great result. But they do have so many stylists there, that your experience may be different.

This place is always great for hair. Melanie is super personable, always does a great job and I always walk away extremely happy. Today I came in with the thickest nexgen nails from another salon, and they were close to impossible to take off. Vidya worked with me for about an hour trying to salvage my nails from the damage of the other salon, even though it was only supposed to be about a ten minute soak off. Vidya was absolutely incredible and was able to bring my paper thin nails back to life. I could not be happier with my experience.

Jeff is the best!!! If you are going there and need a stylist, I would recommend Jeff highly. Jeff use to own his own salon-Hair Benders-but he decided to close it, when he heard that W Salon & Spa was opening a new state of the art salon in Coral Springs. He would then be able to concentrate on what he liked best-styling hair!! He was unable to do that with all of the stresses of running a highly successful, big salon on his own. We were sad to see Hair Benders close, but most of the stylists followed Jeff to W Salon & Spa, so it feels just like home! :) Jeffs specialties are color, up-dos for prom/weddings etc. and cuts. He also gives very good perms. I also see him setting older womens hair in curlers, and doing wonderful blow outs! If you want it done, Jeff has the skills to do it! I have four daughters, (from 14-23) plus myself. We all go to Jeff, and have never had anything less than a fantastic experience no matter what we have done to our hair!! Do not hesitate to go to him. He is actually the stylist who trains all of the new stylists who are coming out of school. He is that good, that he is the pick for the new stylists to shadow! I really shouldnt be leaving this review, because now it will be even harder to get an appointment with him, but I just cant help letting everyone know how skilled he is at his craft!!

This would have been a 1 star review, the first attempt with one guy was an epic fail. He offered to fix it and make it worse, then said he would call and never did. The look was balayage with an hombre look. Then I called to talk to the manager Brandon, and he was amazing. He handled everything very professionally and assured me that the problem would be fixed if I worked with this guy Paul. He was right, Paul is the Van Gogh of hair color. He used highly impressive techniques, and created EXACTLY the look I wanted from the photo shown. I will always go back to Paul and use him, from the giant mess up he had to work with, he worked miracles!

I love this salon and I love my hair dresser but i dislike the front staff messing up royally my appointments the last few times I have been in and then my hairdresser rushes and my hair does not come out right. I feel robbed of my money and time and my poor hairdresser is stressed and upset and then does a mediocre job when if they had not messed up my appointment I would not be rushed and my hair would look better.

Very disappointed in this salon. I have been many times in the past and have never had a bad experience. I made an appointment for a color over dark hair, and a trim, no blow dry. My hairstylist, Danny, was great and very friendly. He did a slight trim on my hair when it was wet and I went to go pay, and was told the bill was $130. I was in a rush and handed her my card, not even realizing how expensive that was for a single color and a trim.I called today to get clarification on the bill, and they told me he charged me $30 for a gloss. I never once was told about the gloss nor did I ask for one. I told her that was not fair to be charged an extra $30 for something I did not ask for / was not told about. The manager, Brandon, told me that the gloss is a toner that they do ever color...I said I have never been to a salon where they do something and charge me without saying something first.He then left me a voicemail that the charge wasnt actually a gloss, but a color correction because I did a single color root to end...doesnt sound right to me. He charged me extra for something I did not ask for not was I told about. I was expecting to pay for a color and trim.Very disappointed in the lack of communication.

Unless you have someone who you trust to touch your hair in this salon I dont suggest going here. My first time in the salon for services and my hair was destroyed. I have lost inches from my hair because it was fried with high volume developer over the top of already bleached, but healthy, hair. It was over-toned on top of that which produced more damage and gray and purple tinged hair. The wnd all be all of damage ensued when instead of using heat protectant on my now damaged hair there was high hold hair spray used to make beachy waves to hide the damage from me. Over $200.00 to have fried broken hair that is still breaking after MANY protein treatments.

They robbed me $250 for an ombre poorly done. Didnt look like anything compared to a photo I showed them and they overcharged me almost twice the amount any other salon would have. Service there was terrible especially the manager Holly when I confronted her how dissapointed i was about my hair and did absolutley nothing to help and was completely rude to me when I am the paying costomer. Worst experience with a hair salon ever in my entire life and I most definitely wont be going back there ever. save your money!!!!

If there was a way to give a negative star rating, I would. Be very cautious about going here and pray to God they give you what you ask for. I came here with my girlfriend and witnessed the worst customer service Ive ever seen. she showed them what she wanted and was very specific but she got something else. On top of that this place has the nerve to blame her and call her indecisive. If you are unsatisfied with what you get, dont think that this salon will have your back. They will do everything they can to rip you off and overprice the hell out of you. On top of that they will blame the customer for their mistakes. I think this business has forgotten that the CUSTOMER is the number one priority. This place is only after your wallet. It is extremely overrated and just looks fancy but its really not that different than your average salon. The management is defensive and the owner trusts his employees more than he trusts an unsatisfied customer. Please save your money and time. Go somewhere else.
