I never do this but I feel that people need to beware. I had a full bikini wax appointment a week ago at the Coral Gables location. I waited 30 minutes for my appointment only to have a terrible experience. The tech was finished in 5 minutes. When she stepped out of the room and I looked at the work she did, I noticed that almost all of the hair was still there. I called her back in the room and she waxed a couple more times, only to continue to leave hair. I asked her to please remove everything as I told her in the beginning of the appointment but she did not seem knowledgable enough to complete that . A week later and I am basically exactly how I was when I went for my appointment except with a full rash. I called to have someone take a look to tell me what I could do about the rash and schedule a touch up for when it clears up, but I was told that I would have to pay for the touch up service (I paid $65 a week ago). I am going on vacation tomorrow where I will be in a bathing suit the entire time, I recommend anyone that reads this to go to The Neat Waxing, they have offered to help me out. The Neat Waxing is down the street and this would never happen there.

I’ve been waxing for years and this was by far the best experience yet, which is largely due to the professionalism and expertise displayed by Karina and support staff. Highly recommend this location to anyone, even if it means traveling a few hours (like I did).

Paid $100 to have hair removed & came home to it not being fully removed. When I called to say what had happened, they wanted to charge me for a touch up. Upon putting my foot down, they didn’t charge me. They still didn’t do it right but yet I was asked to leave a tip for the attendant today. Very disappointed. I’ve been a long time customer of Uni-K’s. It’s the first time I complain about their service. I probably won’t be going back either. The day of my original appt, the attendant was 15 minutes late. Today, the lady was 10 minutes late. There was another customer that was paying while I was waiting & she said to the receptionist/cashier, I didn’t get my full service because she said time was up. What?!

I went with my S.O. to get an eyebrow wax with shaping and Carina seamed pretty uneasy not knowing exactly what to do. I gave her a pretty easy canvas since my eyebrow hairs are not too thick and I have my own shape but she just left hairs everywhere and sporadically. It was my first time here and they offered free services and never ended up receiving the promotion, they would say the computer is not working or they are unable. My boyfriend came for a nose wax which was promoted to be free but we were charged and he also was pushed towards getting a wax in between his eyebrows. The lady left him uneven and he left really disappointed because he had never waxed before and his first experience was with someone who took more eyebrow on one side than on the other. Very disappointing. We had to pay for all services which wasn’t a problem, but the fact that they said otherwise and then made us out to feel uncomfortable when we stated that we did not like the services we received was just unacceptable.

She was very quick but thorough, she remained cool throughout my nervousness, and I gave her a run for her money; I have very full, course dark hair and she got it ALL off without any burns or patches (unlike places I’ve been to in the past.) It was my first time since Im pregnant and is very difficult to shave myself, so I decided to give this place a try. The lady who did my wax was very nice and patient with me, which made the experience less awkward and pleasant. First time waxing and it was an experience lol. But I must say the ladies here were definitely patient and super supportive.

Went in for leg and underarm wax with Lorena and was impressed. I have very thick, dark hair but Lorena did a wonderful job leaving me smooth. I have very sensitive skin but there was barely any irritation, just a little redness and a few red bumps. Will definitely go back.

Very unprofessional staff, Kate and Tatiana were sitting at the front desk and both were extremely rude when I asked for Neighboor discount. Specially Kate, she was questioning and asking rude questions. She got very confrontational. Seriously it’s only 10% off! No need to be rude!!!!I usually go to the location in south beach, the only reason I came to coral gables is because Lorena does an amazing job and she is extremely professional. Unfortunately, I will not coming back to this place.

I have been getting waxed at different places looking for a place where I can consistently go to. I’ve tried boutique waxing studios and even larger companies like European wax center and I can surely say I will be returning to UniK wax. Yaneth was awesome, professional and she reassured me as the appointment went on. She has an attentive eye made sure all the hair and wax was removed. The process was fast despite my 4 month grown out hair, and she was so gentle. The wax quality is superb! Perfect temperature not extremely painful and tall natural. First off, let me explain my experience. The moment I walked up to the location the receptionist greeted me at the door. So, there was no need for me to touch the door upon my arrival. I checked myself in with my phone number on their tablet up front. I sat for maybe 2 minutes and was taken care of. Lorena is the best (crying on the inside). I will continue to go based on my experience with this pandemic still going on. Top quality service and safe environment with constant disinfecting of area. Finger gloves are provided for your safety.

I have been coming here for more than a decade. The people are friendly, its efficient and its super clean. You really cant beat it. Theyre also very well located geographically. You can go to brickell off the metromover or Gables off the trolley if you work in those areas.

First, let me just say Ive been coming for 3 years, non stop. I love Day, who has been there forever. The place is super clean, friendly staff, and they try their best to pamper you. I love my waxing lady and drive all the way from Broward every 6 weeks to see her, and only her.

Ive had better service at the West Kendall location.Here, I didnt have a thorough full-face wax nor eyebrow shaping. I might as well just have removed the appointment for the eyebrow shaping and saved $20. They get picky about which areas to go over. For example, my waxer didnt wax my nose (not the nostrils, the top part) thinking that was included in the nostril package while at other locations the top of the nose is included in the regular Full Face wax, separate from the nostril wax.

Front desk is kind of a mess, a lot of mistakes are made when making an appointment or when trying to move your appointment.Im giving them 5 stars because of their convenient location right by Miracle Mile, and their best waxer is Day. Shes super friendly and makes the most out of an otherwise uncomfortable situation; getting naked in front of a stranger is always awkward for me.If you want a quick and rather painless experience, both physically and mentally, book your appointment with Day, shes highly experienced and very funny!

I’ve been to a couple of Uni K Waxes throughout Dade County and I thought that because this is Coral Gables that the service would be much better. The wax specialist was very friendly and nice but what grossed me out was the double dipping in the wax after each section was complete and I’m positive they don’t change the wax after each customer. Literally scared me away. If they could stop double dipping on the wax then I’d recommend the place - just keep an eye out.

This place is the place for waxing... staff know how to treat you, prices are very affordable, place is very clean and neat. :)

Great service-Ive used two different girls there both great quality & thorough work. Price is reasonable for the quality provided. Only downside is finding parking on street. Allow time to find parking before appt.

They dont use wax strips and are very good at what they do. I am male and get my brows, ears, and nose done every two weeks. My girlfriend is very grateful.
