I came here because my usual wax lady was out of town and this location is closer to my house. I saw Grisel. First, she was not welcoming at all. I was the last appointment for the night so maybe she was ready to go home. Secondly, she talked badly about my regular wax specialist and said that she didn’t know what she was doing and that she was recommending the wrong products to me. I’ve been waxing with the same person for 8 months now and this is the first time I’m seeing someone else. She pulled the wax while it was still hot, causing it to get stuck and break off in bits. She then proceeded to accuse me of shaving, which I haven’t done in 8 months. My skin was so sore and bloody after my appointment. I would never come back here because I have more ingrown hairs than I started with. She pulled the wax in any direction that she wanted and went over the same areas 3 or 4 times. My wax person will be out of town for another month, and I’d rather wait it out than see anyone at this location again.

Clean place. Easy to make an appointment. Be aware of their late policy. If you arrive 10 minutes late your appointment will be cancelled. They use hard wax only.

I highly recommend the Coral Gable Center because they have qualified employes and I personally like Griselle who has a great personality and she is very knowledgeable. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed during the process.

I get really good quality and solid waxes here! My waxer, Monica, is an expert and very professional. She’s also very kind and warm. @swethadoesyoga

My esthetician, Yesenia is absolutely fabulous. She is kind, courteous, friendly, professional and has an incredible memory. I was unable to see her for several months due to outside circumstances, however, when I came back she remembered how I like the table positioned (slightly up for my head), exactly how I liked my eyebrows waxed and so much more. My eyebrows always turn out perfectly. Yesenia definitely has a magical touch. She is a very impressive young lady! Great job in hiring her. Kudos!!

My girlfriend comes here and she loves it, I usually sit and wait for her or walk around the area, nice area indeed since youre close to UM, and if youre hungry or thirsty you have TGIs Friday in the same plaza. The staff are very friendly and their work must be good and done well because my girlfriend keeps coming back and they get a lot of costumers, so according to what I can see, this place is well recommended.

I COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER!! Monica is hands down THE BEST. At literally everything. I came in for a full body wax, slightly hesitant considering it was my very first time and she made me feel so comfortable! The experience exceeded my expectations that were already super high. She quickly and carefully waxed off all my extremely thick hair and explained everything throughout the process. The results already look amazing and I can’t wait to come back!!! 10/10 recommend!!! I would give a 6th star if I could.

Experienced my first Brazilian wax on Saturday with Monica and shes AMAZING. I even trusted her doing my eyebrows which i hadnt done them in over three years. Monica was awesome overall i recommend her!!!!!

I have been going to European Wax Center in Coral Gables for about two years now for my bikini and underarms, and I love it! Not going to lie, its painful, but its one of the best decisions Ive made. Not worrying about shaving is great, and its also very beneficial being that I have a disability. I actually wished I had done this sooner. The staff is very friendly, and the specialist I see, Rocio, is the best! LOVE HER!

Jess V is the ONLY waxer worth seeing! Moved here back in August and started coming here as it’s the closest EW to me. Since seeing Jess V I actually look forward to getting waxed. She’s so personable and if you are sensitive in certain spots she gets you through it. Honestly, she’s the one reason I continue to visit this location. Would have given 5 stars but I’ve had some issues with other waxers leaving me to wait for an hour or more and run ins with some previously rude staff. Jess is always on schedule and gives great advice. Thanks for making an otherwise uncomfortable situation bearable.

I have been a loyal EWC customer for almost 10 years, first in NYC and now here in Miami. Ive always generally had good experiences but today was exceptional. I visited the Coral Gables location today and was seen by Monica. She is a fantastic esthetician, friendly, and knowledgable. The central manager who was at the front desk (forgot to get her name) was also extremely kind and helpful. Unfortunately this location is a bit out of the way from where I live but the service here is far better than the other locations Ive visited in Miami so far. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! Not only the location is beautiful and super clean, but they’re all super kind and welcoming. Besides, you’re sure that you’re waxing is always going to be perfect. Danica is great!!!

From the minute I walked in the door the receptionist at the front desk were very friendly and Elizabeth the young lady that actually did my wax made my first wax experience worth it. She told me exactly what to expect and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I will be back for another Brazilian wax.

It was a horrible experience for me. First of all the individual who dealt with me was not very comforting seeing as it was my first time. Not only that but it was extremely hot and uncomfortable when the wax was applied. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. If I could rate below one star I would.

I have always thought highly of EWC until todays treatment session. It felt like I was getting my first Brazilian all over again - VERY painful! And I am not new to waxing, I have been getting waxed consistently for years and I usually dont even flinch during the procedure. However, the waxerI had today implemented poor technique and etiquette. She did not help to ease the pain or attempt to comfort me at all.I informed both my waxer and the front desk about the pain I experienced, but neither really acknowledged me. I sincerely hope others dont have to endure the same treatment and poor customer service I received today.I will NOT be returning to the Coral Gables EWC or to that individual waxer ever again.

For starters, not many men (like me) go to places like this one. For my first experience, it was the BEST, and why? because it was very chill, pleasant and comforting. The wax specialist there (Jeanette G.) was very professional. She spoke highly educated and made sure my experience was gonna be memorable. I had gotten my Ears (yes, ears...) waxed and my brows (no thin girly-thing) and it was super-painless!!! i tell you. this is the place to check out for waxing. very professional and great atmosphere. and check for Jeanette (shes the eyebrow wax PRO there is). Hope this helps. Ohh and for first time go-ers. ITS FREE (one complimentary - ask for details there)
