This is my second and last time going to the Nail Bar. Last time I asked for dip powder but the tech wasn’t trained so I got regular acrylics and it was fine. On this appointment I made it a point to ask for dip, which was confirmed when they called to remind me of my appointment. The nail tech did not want to do dip, so I said fine do acrylics, to which she complained to the manager that I wanted acrylics. The manager, very rudely btw, said when we make appointments we specify what service we are performing because not all of us are trained. To which I replied I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR A DIP TECH BUT YOUR TECH CANT DO DIP! And the nail tech said Oh no that’s can do dip, I just didn’t think I could do it because I have another appointment after you…Tis is what I got for $55, I didn’t complain because I had been there 3 hours and frankly I just wanted to leave. I’m going on vacation and these nails are not only horrible but they’re breaking in the corners because she didn’t file them & didn’t dip them enough. This place has super uncomfortable seating & the techs seemed like they just graduated & don’t know what they’re doing.

I had an appointment and I did not have to wait at all, which was great. My pedicure was also great! However, my manicure was horrible and I am really disappointed. The girl doing my nails seemed to be in a hurry, constantly asking the two girls next to her what time it was. She was rushing, cut 2 of my fingers, and didnt even apologize. The polish itself looks hurried and she did not file after, which you can tell in the picture. I also had to pay an additional $14 to remove gel polish from my toes and 3 fingers. That seems a bit much considering that my usual nail spot doesnt charge an additional fee at all of youre doing gel again and most other places only charge $5. Overall, I dont see myself going back here or recommending to friends, unless youre in a pinch and need a walk in mani/pedi ASAP.Update: my gel manicure started peeling less than 4 days after getting it done. I will not be going back here or recommending this place to anyone. If you absolutely need to get your nails done, save your time and frustration, stay away from this place!

I left this place super excited, because the attention was incredible I loved the arrangement. After a few hours at home, after getting out of the bathroom, all the gel paint on my hands fully lifted. I was completely without paint on any of my nails. What a disappointment because the truth is that the place and the attention is wonderful.

Excellent job! They are a little more pricey then I usually pay but well worth it!!! Gel mani, toe polish and eyebrow wax and tinted!

Definitely make an appointment because they truly will treat you differently as a customer. The front desk person is inattentive, and when I spoke with her she doesn’t look you in the eye yet is super friendly with a few other girls so the customer service is very selective.EDIT: Even if someone made a complaint like we did.. the last thing she should do is argue with the customer.. there is always an opportunity to remedy the situation while we are still here.The level of cleanliness is to be expected in any nail salon, what could possibly separate one establishment from the rest? Customer service. And to build healthy relationships with customers to make them want to come back, first impressions are so important. When we walked in.. we had a good 10 seconds of just looking around waiting for someone to acknowledge us and at least point us in a direction to be attended to.The nail technician accommodated me when they didn’t have the first or the second color I chose, and she left my nails perfectly done (See pic) 5 stars if the guest experience starts the moment you sit in the nail chair 💅

I think we can ALL agree, The Nail Bar on Flagler is just not IT.The best one in the shop is Catalina even so the ENTIRE Shop including her needs education on a seamless applicationTheyre uneven and bumpy because you a) didnt apply the product smooth enough and b) didnt file enough. With practice, youll learn how to sculpt more with your brush than with your file. But, really it just comes down to practicing and perfecting your finishing.

Pro: Awesome service! The owner is very passionate about her business and her clientele; definitely aims to make you satisfied with their service.Con: The wait is a little long if you dont have an appointment.

Totally recommend the nail bar, i came in for a gel mani and the technician was so sweet and accommodating that i ended up upgrading to a marble nail art mani. It came out fantastic. Their prices are fair. Can’t wait to go back.

Great service! Super friendly staff. Jessica is amazing. Shes meticulous and very professional. I love the job she did on my hands and feet! Using the Groupon was easy and effective. The parking is the only limiting factor. Know that there are additional parking facilities in the back of the building. Overall extremely happy with this place. The cuticle look super clean, and the nails though short look classy. I highly recommend Jessica!

The woman running the front desk who I assume is the owner was extremely rude. When I was driving to my appointment and realized there was traffic because of an accident on the Palmetto Expressway, I called the number that is seen on Google Maps three times to let them know there was an extenuating circumstance and there was no answer. When I arrived late because of the accident, the woman was stand-offish and rude - definitely not a hospitable environment. I told her I had called three times to let them know I was running late and she said I called the wrong number in a very rude way, as if it were my fault that Google Maps has the wrong number listed for her business. I showed her the number on Google Maps and my outgoing calls. She started doing other things around the nail salon, rode me off and repeatedly said I called the wrong number. She canceled my appointment. By that point, I did not want to get my nails done there or fight for my spot back. Terrible customer service. I wonder if this was because I was a Groupon appointment...

Came in and got a pedicure with hot wax, and it gave me life! I highly recommend the nail bar! Thanks again, ladies!

I purchased a Groupon for a gel manicure and regular pedicure and I was a little nervous because of the bad reviews online. But, I was happily surprised by the services I received. The staff was kind and professional, the location was very clean and everyone was wearing masks. My tech (I forgot to ask his name) was so meticulous and took extra time taking care of my cuticles and broken nail. The polish job was amazing and perfectly applied. I highly recommend this nail salon and I’ll absolutely be coming back in the future.

The nail bar is nice. I think they only have one person that speaks English and there was a misunderstanding when I originally tried to book my appointment but overall... I cant complain. My nails look good even a week later.

I went to this place 1 time, paid for dip powder and 4 days later they were peeling off. They fixed it. I went a 2nd time and again same thing happened. I called and the owner told me I could go to fix it but she was not letting me do my nails again anymore!!!. I always do dip and this never happened to me before. I think that was a terrible customer service experience. I work with people I never treat anybody the way the owner treated me. Very rude and made me feel awful. If they care about clients they would recommend to have something else done. Not kick you out of the place!!! I’m completely overwhelmed. Never coming back again...

Honestly this place is overpriced. The nails don’t even last, I gave them a second chance but honestly save your money, 4 days later and 2 nails are already gone for a set that I paid $100! I been there 2 times and the first time they charge me 70 and they said that they painted with gel and tbh it was only the top coat bc the acrylic had the color that I wanted.

Called 30 min before coming to the nail bar and asked if they are busy so me and my friend can come in to do nails, they said they are not busy so we can come in, but they don’t do appointments. We are not from Miami so we spent 30 min to get there and paid 30$ for Uber. Once we came in, they had no technicians available and there was nothing they could do. So for me it makes no sense, they don’t dO appointments, they tell you you can come in, and then they just can’t take you. 1 star costumer service. Just wasted or time and 30$ Uber.

Wendy is awesome!!! I was a walk in so had to wait a few moments but once I was serviced Wendy greeted me and stared me off right away she is super efficient and DID NOT USE HER PHONE ONCE!!! I loved that all the time allotted for my service was ACTUALLY spent on my nails and not gossiping or wasting time or being on the phone. Very professional establishment, adorable concept of an actual nail bar, bomb music and extremely reasonable pricing. Will definitely be coming back

I had a great experience at The Nails Bar salon . They are professional and took me with out appointment. It was a little expensive for a gel manicure and regular pedicure but the quality of service was amazing. The place is clean and they follow every COVID- 19 guidance.

They are not professional at all, especially the owner Gaby. They charged my card twice and after telling the the owner, she said she would call me back to get it fix, NEVER HAPPENED. Do not recommend at all. Beauty Bar Salon & Spa on SW 8 St is way better and the actually are NICE to their customers. (also the lady who did my pedicure made my pinky toe bleed so theres that)

I normally dont do this, but my toe nails havent been the same for months now. I went ti this locatuon with a groupon, late oct. Mani pedi Gel take off n reapplication. The woman took almost 2 us hours, she toom a drill to my gel mani to get off the polish, she decided after that was so harsh to put the polish remover things on. I had to go so she disnt even get through my 2nd coat of nail polish.I had to go to another salon as she drilled away my toenail bed, and the toenail is still cracked in half growing out. I never thought that could happen to me. I wont be going back. You could tell she was new. I cant.

Had a problem with the cashier. My son wasnt allowed to seat next to while I was getting a pedicure. The place wasnt even full. There were about 10 people, including employees.

We called the place and the person that answer the phone was very disrespectful and then when we where there we wanted to make sure they understand that they should be a bit more courteous to their clients but unfortunately the owner herself said that if we didn’t like her or her daughters response we don’t need to do our hands there. She told us to leave. Well they didn’t seem like they need our business so we will never go again to this place.

I went here because I had a Groupon and when they saw how much off Groupon was giving me they immediately started treating me poorly and rudely, I just called them because my eyelashes fell off 4 days after I got them but I didn’t had time to go cause I work everyday, I called today to see if they could move my appointment up this week since I don’t have eyelashes they all fell off, and they told me I would have to pay a full set if I didn’t have 40% of my eyelashes like if it’s my fault that they fell off before the appointment that I already paid for and now they don’t want to give me. The eyelash lady and the receptionist are very rude people, if u guys don’t want people to use the discounts then don’t post discounts to treat people like if they are less cause they use the promotion you guys posted. Horrible service don’t come here.

I was excited to try this place as I read good reviews. Coming from the beach, it’s a little bit of a drive. I called and made an appointment and unfortunately arrived about 6 minutes late. I walked up to check in and the receptionist, on the phone, didn’t even smile to acknowledge me. About 3 minutes later, she gets off the phone and immediately begins with an attitude. I told her about my appointment and she proceeded to tell me that she gave away my time because I was late. She said she tried to call, untrue, because obviously she was on the phone With someone else having quite a long personal conversation when I walked in. After some back and forth she said she would NOT honor my appointment and that I had to wait over an hour if I wanted to stay. Needless to say I left, cried in the car because she was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE.STAY AWAY FROM THE RUDE RECEPTIONIST AND SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE THEY TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT.

Couldn’t use Groupon after being told it’d be accepted. My gel nails and feet chipped after 6 days.

They cancelled to cancel my appointment by calling only half hour before my appointment time and with a different registered name. I understand things happen but when I arrived there the lady at the register at that time told me they didnt know when they could give me another appointment. Her attitude was like she didnt care for the inconvenience and did not care to work with the customer.

There are no words to express the awesomeness of this place I “The Nail Bar #1” has such Professionalism, Friendly, Fun, Relaxing, Exceptional Service. The moment you arrive you are greeted with such courteous. They go far and beyond any salon I have ever entered in all of Miami to Fort Lauderdale. It is well worth the drive from where ever you might live or if your just intown and need a great manicure-tech they have a high level of technicians. So convenient and easy. Try it, you will never go back to any other salon in all of Miami.

I started going to The Nail Bar at the recommendation of a friend. My daughters and I have become regular customers. They have very talented staff and its a small, sometimes crowded, place but also uplifting. It is busy most of the times and reservations are strongly recommended. Prices are reasonable.

Called to make an appointment and received the worst attitude. The lady was not professional at all and when I mentioned that she was not treating a future customer right she proceded to say Look sweetie, do you want an appointment or not then hung up the phone. Ill make sure none of the people I know have to go through that horrible experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I had eyebrow threading for the first time and service was awesome. The technician took her time and did a great job. I also had a gel manicure & pedicure which were very good. It was my first visit to this salon and I would definitely come back.

This was pretty bad experience ... I got there at 5:30, didn’t leave till 9 pm!!! And to top it off if you have gel polish on from another nail salon they charge 5 bucks to remove from your hands and 10 to remove from your feet!! And the parking is a mission because the salon is facing the street.. the actual manicure was good but just as good as every where else!! I will not be coming back here again ... ever

I love this place. I have always didficulties with the gel staying on my nails even for 24 hrs. They always manage to chip. BUT HERE, its been 4 days and not a single chip. I explained it to the great lady who did my nails and she made sure to extra buffer and do her thing so that it doesnt happen.I will return and I highly recommend this great place

Went and got my gel manicure done after work yesterday. Jackie did my names. The other staff is super nice. Everyone is very homey. The music they play is good at least I loved it. Jackie did my nails super beautiful. I’m notorious for biting my cuticles but she took care of that. I really love the fact that they do it all too. Not just mani and pedis. Wax, microblading, hair, etc. this is definitely gonna become much new place to go.

This was my second time at The Nail Bar on 8th street. I used a gel mani + regular pedi Groupon. Nadia was my nail tech and she is excellent! She is very thorough and fast. She cleaned my nails perfectly. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and peaceful. Their regular prices are affordable. This is going to be my regular nail salon from now on. I would recommend them 100%!

I got lash extensions here and they looked great however once they started falling off I noticed how much glue my lash tech put on, causing my natural lashes to clump together and fall off in chunks. There are random chunks of glue on the middle part of the false lashes as well. Very unprofessional and very upset that my natural lashes are ruined from this. I’ve been getting lashes done for two years and I’ve never had this happen. Save your lashes, do NOT go here

After reading the reviews, Im a bit skeptical for my appointment this Saturday.. I purchase Eyelash Extension with Natalie, Groupon. Im sure everything will keep out fine. Will keep you posted.

If i could give no stars i would. The place looks nice and clean overall. I dont know if all the employees at this salon are the same but ANNY the one that did my manicure and pedicure was talking and eating during the ENTIRE time i was there, she painted my toe nails however and did the same to my hands after she made my cuticles bleed 3 times. She wouldnt do both my feet the same way, the steps she did on one foot she never did on the other and same for my hands. I have seen bad things at a salon but NEVER this UNPROFESSIONAL. Of course i will not tip or return here ever again.

To be honest I am actually surprise to see the google rating that the Nail bar has on google! I found this place in Groupon and although I had to wait a long time to get my nails done, I now understand why the place was SO packed. I am in love with nails, Catalina did a great job! I will definately be coming back to this place!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The entire staff is sweet and the owner is a gem. Its very rare that you find a place like this one. Service was outstanding, May was awesome love the way she did my nails just what I asked, and the pedicure was awesome. Clean, fresh, prices are great, and great location with lots of parking in the back of the building. Id recvomend it to anyone. I used to go to Forever young nails but the staff isnt so attentive its always packed and the parking sucks. Oh did I mention theres a Groupon going on right now!!! Gel manicure and regular pedicure for a great price!

Liked this place when it first opened. Second time experience was not satisfying. My technician did a lousy job/used crappy product, and didnt really trim all the cuticles. Then the gel manicure peeled off after only one week. All of them!! See picture. Called the owner to ask if any fix can be done, as I also go to Midtown Beauty Bar and they do offer complimentary fix if small chips happen within a week. This is major peeling off! The owner didnt show any gesture. Will not visit this one again and would recommend Midtown Beauty Bar to all.

I went for a mani pedi and the girl that did my nails was not trained, she cut seven of my fingers. I am just hoping that they clean their instruments properly. A terrible experience! I’ve never been in a place with such an unprofessional staff. On top of that my gel mani didn’t last!! The owner was very rude and unhelpful. She just want to rip your money off! Terrible experience and just a waste of money!!!! You can better use your money somewhere else!

I am shocked! I was running late the other day for my appointment so I called to push up the time because of traffic and they said it was fine. Once I arrive they took two people before me and only had two nail technicians working! So I calmly asked the owner when I would start and she said that since I was late I had to wait in such a rude manner. When I finally got started my nail technician wouldnt even talk to me. She chatted away with the technician next to her and took forever to do my gel manicure and feet. She would randomly stop and text on her phone and just keep talking.

Ive been here twice with the groupon a s they do an amazing job on the gel manicure and regular pedi. The only reason Im not giving them 5 stars is because of the long wait. I probably sat there for about 30 minutes with an appointment and it was a complaint I kept hearing from others as well that frequent this place.

Rude. They dont know how to do a simple manicure. I go to pamper myself and have to deal with her feelings being hurt cause I dont like the work she does. And while Im waiting for my nails to dry, ha the manager calls the store to speak with Me (Im thinking its to make things better) and she starts screaming at me as if Im at fault for anything. Mind you, I never said anything to the girl. I waned to finish the horrible experience and just never go there again. Theres better places girls. Keep looking.

The nail bar, or commonly translated to “Den of Thieves”.My wife bought a $25 Groupon for a Mani-Pedi, that clearly said in the instruction that $25 would be all she had to pay; the owner was charging her an extra $20 and she refused. The owner decided the best course of action would be to begin to frantically yell (over $20) and threaten to call the police. Sick!Not to mention the horrible service and the terrible job they did

Horrible staff and management with mediocre skill set. I will never again go to this establishment, there’s a reason they constantly advertise in Groupon practically giving away theyre services.

I asked the nail tech to cut my nails shorter and did want to also he wanted to do my nails how he wanted and didn’t want to do them the way I had asked him to.

Unprofessional. I went to this salon various times because they have a groupon. First few times they didnt charge me to remove my old gel polish. On another visit the owner tells me he has to charge me. I didnt fight it. Just gave him a face shrugged my shoulders and said ok whatever. He realized I wasnt so happy about it and he asked if I was a first time customer so I said no. Then he asked if they charged me before to remove the gel polish and I told him no. So his reply was oh, why didnt you tell me anything? Unfortunately, I didnt learn my lesson and went back to do my nails for my wedding. I had a pedicure, a refill with gel polish and a flower design made out of acrylic, which I was pretty much pressured to do because they reassured me it would have looked nice with the ring. I paid about $100 that day!!!!!! My nails looked hideous and till this day I regret letting them do my nails for my wedding. I dont even like looking at the picture of my husband putting on my ring because you can see the hideous flower design on my nail. Moral of this review, they try to over charge whoever they can get away with and its not even top notch service.

They not want to help you. Just want the money

I have had nothing, but good experiences here. Just make sure you make an appointment because they are typically always very busy. Unfortunately, I feel that the ladies who work here are not happy at all, they always seem extremely miserable working. However, that does not take away from the fact that they always do a good job - Miami style. Thanks.

Came three weeks ago and initially liked the place, come back later on 12/22/17 and was publically berated by the OWNER. After asking a simple question “how many people are in front of me,” the owner responded “honey you’re good just go sit down, you’ll get called” so I continued to say “ok, but like how much time?” And she avoided the answer so I tried to understand and estimate of how much time she was telling me so she said like “one or two hours, if you stay you stay if not leave” and so I responded with “there’s no need for attitude” so she replied that she wasn’t giving attitude but was getting loud with me and began to make a scene in front of her clients and her employees. Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful. Complete embarrassment and terrible for the poor staff to lose customers. She wasn’t here the first time around, but won’t be coming back after this. I have pictures of her as well and will be tagging the establishment in all photos. As an owner of a popular store, you are a public figure.

Excellent place to go for your mani and pedi. There are times when a groupon deal is offered, so make sure to take advantage of that. I have been coming to this place for almost a year now and don’t regret it. Truthfully, there were a couple of times when my pedicure got messed up but I called to informed them about the matter. The owner assisted me within 15 minutes to make sure I had my pedi refreshed. Don’t forget that you’re in Miami and customer service is not our cup of tea, however, the ladies in here are respectful. I am not a fan of the music that they used to play but it doesn’t bother me. Make sure you make an appointment ahead because the place is small. I remember one time I walked in and waited at least almost two hours for someone to help me but I quickly learned my lesson. And it actually depends on the day. I highly recommend Clara, she is great!

If I could give this salon a negative 5 stars I would... not only was the owners attitude completely unprofessional and rude... the nail technician was just awful... they may be good at manicures but acrylics are a definite no!!! The wait was long but thats beside the point.. there was no explanation given until 30 minutes into waiting and after I asked. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere...I do not have an option to reply to a response . So I am editing my post.. yes the 3 of us walked in at 5:30 but as an owner of a business... if you do not have any availability... why was an appointment for the next day not suggested .. at the very least!... and even though I do not feel the need to clarify whom paid what... as you knew my friends name.. you wouldve read on MY DEBIT CARD... the difference.. .. p.s. when your technicians eyes are as red and swollen as they are. And clearly she was exhausted. I wouldnt recommend having anyoneeee in her condition to take on any more cliental... furthermore my gfs technician had the Auudaaaaciiity to leave in the middle of her pedicure to smoke a ciggerate for a good 20 minutes.. Maam. You have bad reviews on both Yelp and google for a reason....
