The receptionist was very misleading and dishonest regarding insurance coverage. She did not verify the insurance coverage until the last treatment of five treatments. I requested an investigation from my insurance company and they found that Dental Cosmetic Spa overcharged us by over $1,000.00. Funds paid by our insurance company were kept by the office but now will need to be refunded. I would avoid this place at all costs.

I’ve been going for the past couple months and why’re great! Always so sweet at the front desk and the doctor is great. I’ve gotten cleaning and two cavities out and I’ve always had very good experiences.

The whole experience is amazing….professionals, bedside manners, caring, punctual, considered…. Nothing negative to say about this office.

This dental office checks all the boxes for me: clean, friendly, timely, efficient, and transparent. They are family owned and do a great job of getting you in & out but also taking the time to ask how you are and let you know it was good to see you. Dr. Gutierrez extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth in one sitting and did a phenomenal job of making it a comfortable experience for me. Otherwise, I go every 6 months for routine cleanings and the staff is wonderful. Thank you DCS!

Wonderful experience. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The dental office and exam rooms are very clean. The clinic runs very efficiently and always on time. The doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The doctor did not rush and spent an ample amount of time with me. I was very happy with my treatment and have been back to the clinic several times. I highly recommend this office for all of your dental needs. I will be a long time patient!

I recently came in for a cleaning post Covid and I felt completely safe with their precautions, everyone was wearing mouth and face shields (which they have always done since before pandemic). I dont like leaving bad review but, my experience here was too traumatizing to not say something. I went in with extreme tooth pain. The receptionist was very kind. They took x-rays and told me that I had a cavity and need to fill it. I was in so much pain I did it right then and there. The entire experience hurt so much. The dentist didnt put enough of the anesthesia and she got frustrated at me when I told her I was in pain. So, she went in and put a bit more yet I still felt it all. That was the most pain I had felt at the dentist for a tooth filling. Fast-forward one week later I was still in pain on that tooth. I called back and they told me to go in that day to see what had happened. Well, when I got there the dentist had left. She left and they had to call the other dentist that wasnt even in the office. I had to wait for around 1 hour until he came. It wasnt his fault. The other dentist because she couldn’t wait that is very unprofessional and she doesnt care about her patients. This was in August. I was still in pain and the pain got worse around one month ago. When I went to another dentist and told him I was in pain he told me that he would take away the old filling see what was in there and see if I had a tooth crack. Well, I didnt have a tooth crack but, I did have cavities left on my tooth. The same tooth this place was supposed to take away my cavities. They left cavities on my tooth which continued to hurt me for 2 months. Do not go to this place! The receptionist and assistants were amazing but, the dentist she wasnt as amazing. I am writing this because I dont want anyone to go through the same thing as I did. The pain Ive been though because they didnt do their job. I dont want anyone to go through this EVER!

Dr. Alvarez is wonderful, very kind and gentle. She makes you feel very comfortable while in the chair. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I live in Sunrise and make the drive to this office because of the excellent care. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I have been in to see Dr. Alvarez several times over the past few months, and each visit has been a wonderful experience, with both her and the staff. Each visit was met with little, to no wait time. Everyone is professional, prompt, and courteous. In addition, I had an extraction with Dr. Gutierrez, that went extremely well. The office is incredibly clean, and up-to-date. And, most importantly, the dental work itself is fantastic. I always have trouble finding a dentist because of my various allergies. I was very nervous the first time I showed up because I was afraid of the hassle Id have to go through because of them. However, my experience with Dr. Alvarez, was magnificent, to say the least. I have to say everyone at this facility exhibited AMAZING customer service. From the dental assistant, to the front desk receptionist. Who btw, spent about 2 hours on the phone waiting to get in touch with my health insurance. I forgot her name, but she had short black hair, glasses, she was amazing.I feel as though I have to leave a raging review because they really went out of their way for me. Im allergic to latex meaning they had to wear special gloves and change a few things, and Dr. Alvarez had to custom order one of my anesthesias. They literally go the extra mile for their patients, and I feel as though they should be recognized. I chose not to, but I was able to book an appointment the same week I called, the entire facility is beautiful and clean. And I always felt safe. Honestly a terrific experience over all. Even the aesthetics of the place is delightful.

Please do not buy the Groupon offer. Its just a business trap! They hold you in their office for over an our, doing x rays and potos to then after examining my teeth said I needed a deeper cleaning (for $1000 additional). They are all very nice but making it sound very urgent for my health and try to scare you. Even offered a payment plan if I couldnt pay this huge amount at once. They told me they would email my exams, but Im still waiting. Terrible experience!

Went with a Groupon for a dental cleaning the Doctor refused to do a normal dental cleaning and wanted to do scaling for an +-800 which was confirmed by the university of Zurich 6 months ago that this is the not necessary in my case I have my teeth cleant every 6-8 months for the last 44 years (out of which the last 5 years in Miami) when a doctor refuses to treat a patient I wonder where he took his oath and is allowed to practice in Miami

I never dreamed of looking forward to a dentist’s appointment, but the people here changed that.I’ve been going here for over a year, and every staff, especially Dr. Alvarez and Sharon (desk assistant), is always professional and cheerful. When I have to cancel my appointments last minute, Sharon will immediately reschedule it. When there is wait time (only because I arrived late), I’m ushered to a full-body massage chair that wrings out my day’s fatigue. When I was deciding whether to get Invisalign, they informed me of competitive prices and alternative options so I could make the best decision. (I did start Invisalign here.)Im genuinely impressed by their extensive service and Dr. Alvarez’s earnest care for our oral health. I recommend this place for anyone, especially if you seek upbeat conversations or have sore calves 😉

This place is all about looks but its a dental chop-shop. Look out cuz its just a big rip off!! Very nice and clean indeed but its all about getting your $$$$. The dentist can barely speak English and is here to make bukoo bucks off of your wallet. Tricky dickies.
