I had a good experience today I wanted to share. I got there and only 1 person was working the front...with a line out the door. I noticed before I walked in that a bunch of folks had just arrived (so much for going at lunch time). The person there called out (PA system) for support and 4 people instantly came and the line moved very quickly. That was nice to see!

Nearly every time the package drop off is stuck and can’t be opened. I have missed multiple appointments and other important things having to wait for 20 minutes in line to drop off my prepaid packages because the package drop off is stuck. They used to have a large bin you could put them in too but they got rid off it. It’s a huge inconvenience. If there was another post office in Coppell I’d give them my business instead. For someone who ships hundreds of packages a month the service here is terrible. On the upside some of the employees are nice.

This has to be the worst USPS location around. Their self serve kiosk NEVER works right. Sometimes it can do packages, usually not. If you are lucky enough to get the kiosk to work, their package drop box is broken. Been here a half dozen times and the package drop has worked once. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else!

Very poor customer service for passport the Indian lady who due this service on Saturday. I was over there for help because I have appointment for May I was looking for more information and try to resolve my difficult on my appointment. Please post office can you provide best customer service. The person who working on this position need have attitude on this service, like to provide excellent customer service, like to help no only make appointment. Try to see resolve some problems with any person who asking for help. I hope you find the perfect person on this position.

Very poor and bad service. The postman has numerous time says he has delivered packages in a parcel locker but there is no key in my mailbox. Came to Post Office, I am left waiting for almost and hour to speak with delivery supervisor, Trellis. She then comes to window and did not return. Then guy, Keith, who is also supposed to be a supervisor is very rude! Tells me that it doesn’t matter that it happens because they are human and it happens all the time! Very rude and argumentative when I voiced my concerns. I am over Coppell Post Office! A plain ridiculous joke!

If I could leave zero starts I would. Customer service was absolutely the WORST. Trellis is by far the rudest person I’ve encountered in a long time. Beyond cutting me off every time I spoke, she continued to yell at me and tell me to call somewhere else. When trying to explain my situation she then sighed and said we’re just going in circles here. Well if I could explain without being cut off, you’d probably be able to help.

We just had a great experience with ahhhh Mr. Umberto I believe was his name-he helped us with a Passport Renewal and was fast, efficient and friendly-THANK YOU!!! We had to make an appointment in advance and had the applications and all ready to go-he made it easy for us. Thank you!

They used to have a bin to drop off packages. They got rid of it and now I have to rely on their parcel box that often gets jammed. If it’s jammed I either have wait in line for an hour or fail to get my customers orders out on time. Used to be a good place but now terrible.

This has got to be the worst mail service I’ve ever came in contact with. And in Coppell! They should really review the customer service skills these employees have. Three people including myself were at the post office 5 minutes after closing and the two front post office clerks were still there. All three of us are waving, speaking through the door to get their attention because the partial drop was stuck. Asking if they could just un-jam it. As the first lady tried to get their attention, they both looked at us and kept doing what they were doing. The next lady tried and the lady clerk looked and pointed at her watch and then ignored us. I then had to raise my voice between the cracks of the doors pleading with them to please just help us un-jam the partial drop. That we do not need them to help with postage just two seconds to un-jam it. They continued to look down. I pulled out my phone to take a picture of them, as that is not good customer service. Not only that, it could have been an emergency and they would have done nothing to help. Only till I pulled out my phone to record them did the male decide to walk to the door and help. That happened the latter part last week and now today I go to mail some things. I went up to the machine to do the postage myself. I needed tape for the medium box that is one price $15. She gives me the tape to use and then says to wait after I’m finished with the tape and she will help. I stated to her I already have postage from the machine. Once I’m done with the tape, she then takes the mailers and says let me see them. She weighs them and then tells me this is not flat rate. Because the postage had an “F” on it. The “F” was for first class! Wow! I then state to her it is for first class. She said well you still owe $2 extra. I said ma’am I did it on your self service machine, so if it’s wrong, your machine is wrong. I told her I do this every week. I asked her to give me the three mailers back. As I didn’t trust her to put them in the mail for me. She then proceeds to take the flat rate box and says I didn’t pay enough. And because it has a “P” on it, it is not showing as a flat rate of $15. She said you owe more money and did you get insurance? I said yes. She said you owe for that too. I said ma’am I paid for the $15 and $200 insurance. She said no you did not. I said yes I did. I pulled out my receipt snd showed her. She said oh okay I see it. Geez! And these are supposed to be workers working for the government. And to be trusted with our important documents and packages.. Really??? WOW!!!! And for Coppell residents! Double WOW! Just awful to say the least.

The service at the desk is fast. No problems there. However; if you need to pick up a package at the door you are going to be waiting a LONG time. I routinely have to press the button 3-4 times or lean on it to get someone to come to the door.

Terrible post office. They usually ship my items the following day or so. They have lost 2 items of mine. One order that was going to Frisco finally arrived over 2 1/2 weeks late. It didnt show leaving the building until 2 weeks later! It arrived after Christmas. It was only a 17 min drive from that place! They also lost my Progressive snapshot device that I mailed almost 1 month ago and now Progressive is charging me $50. Try to use another post office if possible.

My package supposedly left here on December 28, 2020 at 11:07pm and still has not arrived to its destination(though it was supposed to be there 3 days later). Today is 1/14/2021 and the tracking# shows it is still in transit. Customer service has no idea where it is.

I typically use the automated system because its quick and easy. Best idea ever. Send your packages, get your stamps and take care of basic shipping needs.When I have to use the counter, the agents are helpful. The only need to fix issue is restocking of boxes and envelopes. This location is busy so it only makes sense to restock everything at night. Other than that, theyre on it.

It’s now day 8 on my delivery and still not here this is the 6 or 7 package i have that has came through this place that is literally 12 miles from my front door and this place cannot deliver a package on time my latest package has been sitting there for over 48 hours and has not moved no wonder do United States post office is in so much debt if you can’t get a package 12 miles down the street you have no business to Stay in business and My money that i payed for the service and they want tax payer money too shut this down trump

Great service in this post office. The staff in this location are so professional and helpfull. They are so polite and respectful. We had an appointment there for our passports and the process was so easy and accurate. No long waiting time. I do recommend this location for all of my friends and for everyone.Definitely I will go back there again.

Horrible service!! Rude and demeaning. The USPS doesnt like to prepare the mail, meaning they cant add a name to a label, tell you what label you need, or even provide you with a label to fill out. When did they stop doing even the basics? Cant explain things properly and if you dont do the first part of the job for them, they wont help you.

This place is most definitely the worst and most disorganized post office locations Ive ever been to. Ive had to deal with multiple staff here to check on a status of a certified mail that Ive been expecting to receive for 2 weeks and every single one that I had to speak with either in person or on the phone was rude and not helpful at all, Im speechless on how irresponsible they are specially on the phone, obviously they are sure there is no supervisor questioning their behavior thats why they dont show any respect.

This is the best PO around. Ive tried 5 others. Nearby Valley Ranch can not even open on time. This one is occasionally late a few minutes opening but they are ready to go when they open. If a line starts to form the clerk will call for assistance. No other station does this! I have seen all the counter windows in use with very long lines. Other locations would just stick to the 2 clerks. They were a big help, even had a 2nd person come up, when I needed international assistance. Clerks are generally friendly, never could I call on rude. Jackie is always helpful and smiling. They do have some delivery issues. Mail is delivered well after 4PM now, sometimes around 6PM.

I have lived in Coppell for 8 years and my experience with this post office has been the same or better than every other post office Ive been to. There is usually a line, and it usually moves quickly. The people who work there are pretty friendly and we have not had a problem receiving mail or having it delivered correctly when sent from there.

I’ve lived here 2 years, and receive packages maybe once a month. Whenever it happens to be coppell usps, it’s delayed. I order from amazon and PRAY that it’s amazon delivering it, but when I see that it’s usps I know it will be late. Just today I had an important package that was supposed to arrive as scheduled. Showed “arrived at post office” at 11am, then somehow showed “delivery attempted” 3 mins later, 10 mins later shows “out for delivery” it’s now nighttime and no package arrived. This is typical of usps in coppell. I can’t stand it. I’ll probably stop ordering anything online to avoid this ridiculous system!!

I went to USPS Coppell location today for the 1st time. I am glad I did that cos I am tired of the rudeness from USPS Valley Ranch. Terrible service. I never know if I will be able to get someone at the Dutch Door to pick-up my packages. I was there at 11am today a rang the bell twice in a 7 minute period. I waited about 5 minutes before ringing it a second time, and there was still no answer. This isnt the first time this has happened either. Hard to believe the difference between this completely professional post office and the one in Valley Ranch close by. I live in Valley Ranch but take the time to drive to this one because the staff is professionally trained, considerate, caring, and truly want you as a customer. Hard to believe this is a US Post Office. Compared to the one in Valley Ranch, this one is like being in Heaven.

We love to hate the post office but when you need to mail small stiff, you have no choice. I use the automated machines to get in and out quickly. I did have to stay in line to get some assistance and it was painful. I didnt find the staff to be rude but very strict and observant. Suggest people read the rules of shipping stuff before asking a bunch of questions.

WOW! Talk about a team effort! I had to come back and update my review to a solid 5 stars. Even in the smack down pressures of the last year -- this post office came through, week after week. No miss boxed items -- not a one! The social distanced line was met with patience that often wasnt deserved. And when I was slow to empty the box -- they some how managed to fit some more in it. I came back to edit my review, and to applaud customer service excellence under nearly impossible circumstances. It takes a team to do it -- this IS Teamwork, working!People make mistakes. How a service provider recovers makes all the difference. The mail comes into this branch pre-sorted ready to be boxed that means delivered to P.O. Boxes located inside the post office.It is up to the box holder to catch the mistake -- and do the right thing --If there is a line at the counter -- do what!If the counter is closed -- do what!No signage providing instruction.No collection slot for resorting and reboxing.People really would like to do the right thing -- other postal locations make provisions. If you drop it in outgoing mail -- the performance of the staff, an error rate is invisible.Were you suppose to get a package, but didnt -- did the post office declare it delayed -- maybe it was delivered to the wrong box and the box holder didnt do the right thing and hand it in. Magazines not received, or not received on time? maybe it was delivered to the wrong box and the box holder didnt do the right thing or delayed handing it in. I would not utilize this post office for any of my postal needs ever again the future! This location is not customer service orientated!! They also consistently have a line when you arrive. The Post Master proved to have poor customer service, as well. Anyone that doesnt have to utilize this station for their needs, I would recommend that you do not! Called in for Passport renewal appointment.. someone picked and said they are full booked till May mid. I said fine I can take an appointment whenever is available. She then asked me to hold and put me on hold for more than 40 minutes, and no one responded. I was so frustrated and hung up the phone. If your package shows that it has ever arrived at this USPS Coppell location just know your package will be delayed. Happens every single time. I have a package that has been sitting here for four days now and arrived 3/24/19 at this location in Coppell and did not get an update for two days! Then on 3/26/19 received an update saying that my package was in transit to the next facility. What do you know the next day today 3/27/19 I receive a message stating that my package was accepted at its next destination, which happens to be this SAME location in Coppell! How does that even happen? My package was supposed to be here to me on 3/25/19 and now has just been sitting at this location for 4 days instead! And now I just found out that I will not receive my package until Friday 3/29/19 what a joke. ANYTIME A PACKAGE ARRIVES AT THIS FACILITY I DREAD IT, BECAUSE I KNOW IT WILL DEFINITELY BE DELAYED!

The staff inside the post office is very nice and friendly, the delivery workers on the other hand seem to have no idea what theyre doing. Ive lived in Coppell almost a year now and whenever our regular postman is out, the substitutes are horrible. Like today, I have four very important packages to be delivered today. As of an hour ago, he has marked my packages as delivered, yet he hasnt even by my complex yet. I checked my mailbox, nothing. I went by the office, nothing. This isnt the first time hes done this. Same thing happened last week, only he didnt even bother trying to deliver my package. He just took it back to the post office for me to pick up. When I went to get it, I was told that he was going to attempt delivery AGAIN tomorrow. He never attempted delivery the first time! The post office closes in 15 minutes, and Ive been trying to call for the past 30 and keep getting a busy signal. And they wonder why theyre bleeding money and losing business to UPS and FedEx...

I use this post office every week, literally. The blonde lady at the shipping station is my favorite and the reason why I’m giving it a 3 Star. She’s always nice, professional and greets you with a smile. The others in the shipping station are good as well.Now the package pickup station, where you ring the bell. Their staff are rude. I’ve stood there so many time, rang the bell and then the lady opened and asked me “what do you want?”. Another instance is that the mailman left me one notice with two tracking number. When I pick it up, they told me they can only find one of the two packages. I’ve talked to the manager Ramona and I was told it wasn’t there and there was nothing I could do. I kept asking her where would it be? Because they left me a notice and the tracking on site says they have it, she told me that what the site says don’t matter. I’ve called them every hour for 2days and then I got ahold of another manager(male), forgot his name. He looked for my package and told me it was there, it was pushed in the corner. For two days, they couldn’t find my package (big box I might add), no one can tell what happened, when it was in their possession all along.So yeah, the shipping station is good but the pickup station sucks!

Im not sure how hard it can be to deliver mail to the correct box but for years now we get mail for other people and other people get our mail at least once a week. We have lost bills, checks, letters, you name it so its not just junk mail being misdelivered.

I was told a package being held was there but a lot of mail is back there and my package wasnt available because the driver doesnt deliver on Saturdays. I found this surprising because tracking said they attempted to deliver the package on Saturday morning.

If I could leave a lower score i would, i just called to check on a pick up time and the lady said i had to call the sorting facility, alright fine thats not a problem, but when i asked what the number was to call them, the lady that i was talking to got all snappy, gave me the number than hung up on me before i could ask to give it to me one more time cause i had to grab a pen real fast when she started telling me so i didnt get the first part of it. I have had horrible luck with all the Post Offices i have talked to regarding any thing. as i am writing this review i am on hold to talk to the sorting facility and i have been on hold for 10 minutes now. so like i said at the begging lower score would be given if available

Pony express really could have gotten this package here sooner. Im sure Ill never see it. Other people who ordered from the same company also have their packages stuck in Coppell. USPS lost 3 of my packages this year alone.Terrible service. The carrier is probably drunk. How difficult is to deliver a package!? Is not rocket science. We put a man on the moon but we cant deliver a package.Employees not useful at all to identify the cause of loss.

The Coppell post office has a lot of bad press from the locals here, but Ive personally never experienced an issue. The staff at the dutch door has always been friendly and expedient in retreiving any packages I have to sign for. The line is always long if you need to mail a package, but this is why I reccomend pre-purchasing postage online via PayPal or using their automated kiosk on-site.

I have now been on hold with the local office for 26 minutes listening to how important my call is to them. Their tracking service -- it shows the package is in transit and expected delivery on November 2nd. Today is the 4th. I am looking for a more reliable and responsive method than USPS.

My package has been sitting in Coppell since last Thursday...its now Tuesday and no updates since the 18th where it states delivery by the 21rst. I am only 15 miles away and who knows if it was stolen or forgotten, Im asuming the best way to locate it is to go back where I purchased it and let them light a fire under them and Ill stick to store gift cards that I can email for Christmas presents. If it ever gets to Lake Dallas I still have to worry about getting it delivered correctly since their employees dont know their numbers to get it in the right box since we have to deal with cluster boxes. TX surely gives new meaning to SNAIL MAIL!

This place is the worst. The mailman bent an item that said Do not bend on it, I guess thats why hes working as a damn mailman. I told them and they said to give them my number and they would get back to me, never did. Ebay said the item was too late to return and ended up costing me losts of money, I decided to return the item but these idiots once again took to long to return the item and I was denied my refund. Very bad post office, but nothing will happen because its a gov owned place...

Every time I have been to this post office to pick up a package at the little door with a window you spend a ridiculous amount of time standing there ringing the bell. I’ve been standing here for 12 minutes... rang the bell every 2 min and a lady just opened the door and asked “did you ring the bell?” YEAH ABOUT 6 TIMES NOW while I listen to boxes and people moving and talking just beyond where I’m standing. I’d have my mail delivered in Irving if I could 😡

Looks like im not the only one according to the reviews, who they tried charging 4 dollars for a full roll of tape when i needed just a small strip..went to another post office and they couldnt believe how they acted.

The last two months, found my mail soaking wet three times. My box is in good condition. When the delivery person closes the box instead of just flipping the cover, my mail never gets wet. I have discussed the with others and they have same problem and, they have reported this problem. Doesnt help, makes no difference.

UPS delivered to Coppell US Post Office. I received notice at5pm from UPS that USPOSurePost del to my front porch at 3:49pm. I checked my front porch and front yard at 5:05pm. No package. I was told to call local. USPO, which I did. Lady there said she would check and call me back same day. I did not receive that call. I am calling them back in the morning.ALWAYS poor service... I receive others mail a couple of times a month and other residents have received my mail.

I have traced my package to Coppell, TX, that was scanned into that facility on December 17th at 6:27 pm. It is now December 30th and I still dont have my package. Im getting such a run-around with the USPS, its pitiful. Ive called the Coppell post office and the phone rings until it says the call failed. Where is the Christmas present I was to give to my Son??? Nobody knows!!!! Pitiful, just pitiful!!!
