This place is amazing! Especially Patrick curran! He was extremely helpful. Always answered any questions I had about installing cabinets for the laundry room I am making. Always a fast response!! Extremely professional. He made what I thought was going to be a stressful experience so easy! Def recommend talking to him when you go to this store. I never leave reviews, but because the experience was so good I had to write this one!
Horrible customer service. I went in there to look and ultimately purchase a bathroom vanity. I know the man sitting at the desk saw me and chose not to say anything to me. I walked around the whole showroom and still nothing...finally I asked a question because obviously he wasnt there to work that day and finally I was reluctantly acknowledged. By that point it put a bad taste in my mouth. I went to another bath and kitchen establishment and made my purchase. Would I recommend them? Absolutely not...
Went in today for a 530 appointment with Larry, who was dealing with other people at this time. Wasn’t acknowledged until 5:45 when my wife was told he would be another 20 minutes. Completely unprofessional and poor customer service. Will be taking my money elsewhere.
We worked with PATRICK on our kitchen design and we honestly couldn’t be happier. He was professional, friendly, easy to get a hold of on the phone and through email, and was very thorough. He was able to take our vision of what we wanted and make it even more beautiful and functional. The cabinets came right when he told us they would and everything was perfect when it arrived. I would definitely recommend Consumers for your kitchen remodel. I would even suggest going to the Copiague location, even if it’s not the closest to You, and ask for PATRICK.
I am redoing my kitchen. Tony Conning is my sales rep and he is amazing. He is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I have had so many questions and he is always able to answer them. He has provided invaluable advice to me. Tony is also not a “salesman”. He guides you always in a good direction. Thank you Tony for making this overwhelming process easier!
Didnt have what I was looking for.
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING.... after our saleslady making a couple of errors while going through the process of ordering our cabinet (which were custom made). Our saleslady quit. When the cabinets were delivered -- THEY WERE NOT THE ONES WE ORDERED.. Corporate will not help us at all. Now I have to look at the cabinets (for the rest of my life) that I didnt want in the first place!!!
Bad customer service.
Like most people, my wife and I are very picky when it comes to our home. We stopped at the Copiague Consumers Kitchen and Baths just to compare it to ALL the other places we had visited. We had the pleasure of meeting with a salesperson named Gretel. We went over our plans and ideas just to compare. Within minutes my wife and I knew she was the one we wanted to have by our side during this crazy project. Gretel designed our entire kitchen and mudroom. After several revisions we ended up with absolutely everything we wanted and more!Gretel is a very classy lady with a wonderful personality. Always there when we called, and always called us with great suggestions that saved us from potential design problems. We came a way with an amazing kitchen & mudroom. We are SO happy with the entire experience. Also, I can honestly say there was not one piece missing and not a single scratch on anything...Thanks for everything Gretel, you are awesome!Anthony & Jennifer
Our cabinets were not done with the quality we were hoping for. Most of the cabinet doors crooked/ different lengths, not fully painted, some cracked/defects in wood that were painted over. We weren’t living in our home when everything went in so it wasn’t an option to uninstall everything and complain. It’s been a few years, but it bothers me every time I see something. I feel like they look worse and worse as time goes on. I finally decided to vent about it. The functionality is good but appearance and execution are really subpar.
Great selection but short staffed
My wife and I purchased our kitchen from consumers Kitchens & Baths. We dont have a huge kitchen but, when the salesman was designing our kitchen, he suggested that we close one of the three windows so we can gain two extra cabinets, we didnt even think about that, thats why we left it to the professionals at Consumers. FYI, the kitchen came out better than we thought and great idea on the window!
They screwed up the entire cabinet order and won’t do anything to fix it. Conveniently, the employee no longer works there who placed our order.
Discusting unprofessional sales lady there. we were looking for a bathroom vanity and she asked if there was anything in particular we were interested in. we said we were looking for a farmhouse style sink. she laughed at us and said that would be special order and they get very pricey. so while we were looking around we overheard her making fun of us to the other employee there they lost our business. what sleezeball employees at this location.
Lots of items to see, but, the report couldnt help us with a new shower for our bathroom. What they have is nice, but wont work in our space . We tried.
Was very helpful and knowledgeable.Pleasant sales staff
Great experience
Worst experience with copiague location. They made our counter top completely backwards and part of the vanity cabinet measurements were way off and they charged us to fix there mistake. Would not recommend this place*Update* About 4months later my bathroom is still not done. measurements was cut wrong and nothing can be finished in my bathroom until I have the countertop. Note- this is why I went to consumers and paid so much money for a 30 inch vanity set is so I didnt have these issues. I call consumers and the back and forth blame game goes on for days. Finally that gets resolved and Im waiting for another countertop for another few weeks. AND believe it or not THIS IS Just the start! My carpenter comes one day in between the countertop being redone to finish and to hang the medicine cabinet and behold one of the pieces of trim is to short? I call consumers again they tell me they will split the problem with me and I have to pay half of the cost for the new trim. Now Im at the point where I didnt even care the amount I just needed it finished!Against my wife I agreed. The amount of pain and suffering and MONEY I was into this 30 inch vanity / medicine cabinet was overwhelming at this point and my bathroom is still not complete months later because of consumers. Now I have to pay the carpenter and plumber more money to come back over and over to finish. Also let me add I could not have my Electrican finish his job because the med cabinet wasnt installed so he couldnt put the lighting into it. He also didnt want to make another trip without being able to complete his work. Now I wait till the new top is delivered the 2nd time I have the plumbing all done n top installed and I notice that they cut the countertop wrong AGAIN and you can see the unfinished edge of the under mount sink that they sold me. I call them again on 9/10/18 to tell them. by now you just ask for a manager of the store you are dealing with and he will be able to talk to the next guy and the next and you just wait to hear back from them. now its 9/13/18 almost 9/14 still no response back from consumers with any resolution. Now as we sit months later from the start of this 30 inch vanity set. May I also add didnt even come with a mirror or door handles that by the time Im done if Im ever will be literally a small fortune and was completely not worth the aggravation this place puts you trough and I still cant believe is not over.
After multiple productive meetings with our designer/sales rep, Joe Thompson, he made a very good kitchen design. We placed an order on 2/27/15, gave a 50% deposit, and were told that turnaround time from the manufacturer (Starmark) was six weeks. It is now nine weeks, and no cabinets. We were promised theyd be on the truck last Wednesday, which turned out to be untrue. Next week will mark ten weeks. And no indication that anyone at Consumers is calling Starmark or otherwise following up. Joe Thompsons comment to our contractor: Theyre just going to have to wait. Update: cabinets were delivered at the 10 week mark (to the day). Missing parts, missing molding, etc. Most importantly, the stove base cabinet, which was supposed to have been custom- made for our model cooktop, required substantial work from our contractor to make the stove fit. Joes response: Sorry about that! Otherwise, the quality and finish of the cabinets was good.
