Overpriced, slow (understaffed) and filthy. This place belongs behind a truck stop.Cant fault the nice guy that works there, though.

This was absolutely a wonderful place the man did a great job he knew exactly what he was doing and fixed my Miata perfectly. Including special little fixes. Great service great price definitely will return.

The Battery X-Change was fantastic and always is! The staff was REALLY friendly and knowledgeable. I was in and out of there in 20 min... tops! Showed up 3 times with one of their 72 month warranty Battery (The Battery was less then 2 years old & I had the purchase receipt to prove it!) that would only hold a charge for less then 2 days, then I was told by their manager (Rude guy that didnt care) quote since it holds a charge for 1 day, they would not replace it to honor their Warranty.Bottomline: Avoid this Business when searching for your next Battery, because they DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY even if its less then 2 years old & you have the purchase receipt to prove it!

Quoted same price twice over the phone. After calling for an hour to different car parts stores I chose this one. Upon arriving at the establishment the mechanic took a few moments to acknowledge us. After looking at the battery the mechanic Cole then quoted almost twice the price. Went across town and installed myself for $90 less.

This place has been around for so many years and continues to be the best in Price, Service and In-Store Selection. Even if a local chain of stores manages to meet their price you will have to do the install work yourself. I remember coming here with my parents when I was a child. Everyone I know continues coming here. I have had great luck with their batteries. The Free battery and alternator testing has been additionally beneficial over the course of time and various vehicles. If you need your alternator replaced or something more time-consuming than a simple battery swap - a lot of places are within walking distance.I was around when a lady came in to have a battery replaced only to be told by the employee (after he cleaned the battery terminals and tested everything) it was just a bad connection. It didnt cost her a thing and she was visibly happy.

The BEST...I called to ask if they had my battery, mine wasnt charging, they checked had it in stock, i drove over, not only did they have my battery out and replaced in record time, 10mins, they credited the core charge and was 100 cheaper than other stores..thank you guys. You ROCK!!

Friendly service. They checked my alternator and battery. Batteries are comparable to Walmart and the service is better.

This place helped me tremendously with new battery for 1992 Ford F150 and VS7 intake cleaner in and out in 30min. Truck runs like new smooth idle no hesitation and more response. Also Cole said they are going dress the place up with siding and maybe do brakes.

While visiting Coos Bay, I found myself in need of a couple of batteries. I looked up batteries on the Web, found Battery X Change, despite some negative reviews I decided to give them a try because the location was easy to find. It was an excellent decision. The employees (3) I met were knowable and friendly. In less than 15 minutes I had my batteries and was on my way to finish visiting the Oregon south coast. I have found that if you are nice and respectful to people, they are nice back. There is a lot to be said for Karma.

I found a battery that had a better warranty for cheaper just down the road.

Went in had a battery filled and the battery had a plug that right on the battery says remove before filling and its supposed to stay off it was never removed and ruined the battery and they continued to say there is nothing they can do even though it was his fault so Ill buy a more expensive battery before I go back there and support their buisness.

This business did not honor the warranty on the alternator they replaced in my car! He refused. It has only been 4 month since my alternator was replaced with defective alternator. It has a two year warranty written upon my receipt which I have and showed him. The rudeness was uncalled for. I cant believe someone can operate like this.DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE OR YOUR FAMILIES VEHICLES TO THIS PLACE!!!DO NOT PURCHASE ANY BATTERIES OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!A scheister who takes advantage of disabled people SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. They replaced my starter, winshield wipers and battery, they were super helpful and tested my starter for power draw not just testing to see if it spins. They were right ! Wow its not going to a dead battery every 2 days now !!!

The person I spoke to couldnt even look up my battery cuz his books didnt go back far enough to find a battery for a 1992 but I can drive 2 hour and see if maybe he has a battery that might work. His words. Lol way to earn my business. This company seems to be every disorganized, out dated, and poorly managed. Battery X-change charges 10.00 less than new batteries. How is that a deal lol.
