I have been using Roses for all my nail needs for close to three years. They are really good at what they do. Fast, friendly service, great prices and their dip nails last for weeks. I would recommend and do to anyone!

I can not recommend this place enough! So nice/clean and everyone is so kind! They were even kind to my 4 yr old who tagged along for her own pedicure. Love the walk in option!

The man who greets people was extremely rude after he told me it would be one hour wait, I returned after said hour and two people who signed in before me were yet to be serviced. My nails lifted in a week and I had cuts on my cuticles and toes. I would highly recommend you go anywhere else OR just do it yourself. So dissatisfied with my experience. Highly considering contacting the better business bureau.

Very satisfied with my experience. I had previously visited some where else for a French manicure that didnt fully last a week and the job was poorly done. I went for a white and pink ombre this time and decided to take my business elsewhere and I left confident in my decision. Highly recommend! I didnt even need an appointment.

The greeter was a little rude. They made me soak off my own nails and I told them I was embarrassed and she laughed and smiled at me. I was here for 3 hours just to get my nails done while she was on her phone. Told me dip was cheaper and I couldn’t get gel nails. I’m so disappointed I really wanted to find a permanent nail salon but this isn’t it.

Great service and friendly relaxing environment. Their girl does amazing eyebrow waxing. Also gave us a group discount. Mother in law had a nail break in less than 24 hours and they fixed it free of charge no hassle. I highly recommend them.

I am very happy with my mani/pedi and my eye brow wax. I had Snow and my technician for my acrylics and my eyebrow wax and her husband (I didnt catch his name) did my pedi. They are very nice and friendly and they do an amazing job

This is the best nail salon Ive ever been to. My acrylics looks absolutely perfect and I didnt have to ask her to correct anything. She didnt clip my skin accidentally or anything like that with the files. I picked a regular polish over gel and they were still completely dry by the time I left the salon. The staff was super friendly and prompt with service even for walk-in clients. If I lived closer to the area Id make this nail salon the only one I go to. Will definitely be returning when Im back in this area.

After having a bad experience with Tommy Nails, I was led to roses and it is one of the best nail decisions I have made in my life. After several failed attempts at getting my nails done and loving them. I have finally falling in love with my nails. Jack was amazing and I will 1000% be back and 1000% recommend roses.

I had a great experience at this salon. I asked for French ombré nails in a short coffin style and got exactly what I asked for. The tech who did my nails made conversation and was very polite with me. He took his time and really made them perfect. I wish I would have gotten his name, but he is younger with tattoos and an eyebrow piercing. His work is great! The other techs were also nice. The prices are good, I paid $50 for my nails. My nails are even, smooth, and honestly turned out better than I imagined they would. I highly recommend Roses!

I got a gel manicure and pedicure from here. The pedicure was fine. This was only the second manicure I’ve ever gotten in my life so I wasn’t sure what to expect. After 2 days 8 of my nails had already peeled off. Yep, peeled right off the nail, no problem while at work. They did not even rough up the surface of my nail so the gel would stick. I didn’t think this was abnormal considering it was my first time getting gel ever, but since then I got another gel manicure from elsewhere and it started chipping after staying on a while so I tried to peel one off and it was stuck on. I eventually got it off the nail after picking at it for hours on end and a layer of my nail actually came off with it and with that being said my nail is now pretty thin. This is what SHOULD happen when trying to get gel polish off. Not at this place, instead they peeled right off without me even trying! The staff is funny and friendly, and I don’t ever write bad reviews but I paid a good amount of money for nails that lasted about 2 days max. I do not recommend anyone get their nails done from here.Edit: the nail tech next to me was doing a little girls nails and the cute little girl kept trying to make conversation with the lady and she was really rude. Didn’t look up at her, didn’t smile, and gave very short, one word answers to the questions she had. It made me really sad because the girl was really interested in how long she had been doing nails and even told her she liked the nail tech’s nails and she didn’t seem to care at all.

Went in with my sister at 12:30 to get pedicures. My sister sat for about 30 minutes before anyone started on her and I sat for an hour before anyone came to do mine. I waited so long that the water my feet were in had turned cold. People were standing around and talking while we waited and were extremely rude. The chair moved when I sat down and the woman who seated us freaked out and started saying things to everyone in a different language about the chair scooting. My sister was finished with her pedicure before I was and they rushed her away and wouldnt even let her sit to talk to me while they finished up mine. They also took a chunk of skin off my sisters big toe and her nails are filed unevenly and diagonal and her polish looks terrible. There are spots all around her nail on her skin. The man who did my pedicure was nice but he rushed through it. The whole time we were waiting no one spoke to us except when the woman first seated us. Over all I feel like it was more money than what it was worth.

Always great service and kind staff! They really care about the customer and it shows. I would definitely recommend this salon when searching for your next pedicure.

Have always done a good job on my nails and others that I know. Kind people and theyre funny as all get out so youre laughing 90% of the time unless youre humorless and have no soul.

Waited an hour to get my eye brows waxed before I just walked out of the door. None of the workers communicated with me except for when I first walked through the door. I was recommended by a friend, however, as a result in the poor customer service I would recommend anywhere else. *edit* because this place is open on Sunday (one of the only places open on Sunday) I decided to give them another shot, upon my visit in which I signed in for the wait was one our BEYOND the previous appointment, which resulted in them giving me another wait time. The only reason I even came to this establishment was out of desperation and they still can’t comprehend time or value of work for that matter. Their nail work is beyond awful and for the wait to get awful nail work done is incomprehensible. Oh and the cherry on top was this professional nail artist refused to give his name. Their rating for 4/5 stars is out of bribery. They are paid/ given incentives to convince customers for a good review. Good luck ladies/gentlemen when you wait 2 hours for your nails to lift/fall off completely!

I stopped by while traveling home to Knoxville. I was overwhelmed with smoky incense (don’t get me wrong, I enjoy it, but the smell was hard to handle with little ventilation). The customer service was very poor. Communication was also more difficult than what I typically experience. I definitely didn’t feel welcomed. I left after waiting over an hour and continued my travels and came on home to my local nail shop.

I love Roses Nail Spa!! I went today 11/23/2014 and had my nails done, BEAUTIFUL! I done the next gen set I am loving them, they are very lite on your nails, less damage and much better for your nails. I love this place I am recommending my friends and family to this nail salon I will be returning myself. If there was more than 5 stars I would make it a 10!!

Ive been getting my nails done in Cookeville for over 15 years now. Since Jack at Roses Nail Spa started doing my nails, Ive been able to keep them on longer than ever before, I can go longer between fill ins and I am 100% satisfied every time I leave my appointment. I truly enjoy getting my nails done now, instead of just setting through an appointment because I have to. Jack and his wife are both excellent and they take such pride in their work. They are very honest with you, and if they dont think something will look good they will definitely tell you. Ive gotten more compliments on my nails since switching to Jack than I ever have before. If you are looking for quality work at competitive prices my ONLY recommendation in this town would be Roses Nail Spa. Give them a chance and I promise you wont go anywhere else.

It was a horrible experience, my cuticles were bleeding when I left. Didnt even put anything on them. I realize a place like this is busy, but they pick and choose who they want to take care of. Everyones money spends the same. I spent a lot of money to be treated poorly and rushed out of the place. I didnt even have my nails dry, and they were pulling out my chair for me to get up. Never will I be back. Im a server, so I understand customer seevice. This place has none as far as Im concerned. Very rude. Im pretty sure I wasnt the only one that was not happy.

My friend and I went to get our prom nails and eyebrows done. They turned out better than we expected them to be. Great quality and even better service.

I’m not really sure why I keep trying to give this salon a chance, anytime I go in there it is as if no one is happy, I sat there for an hr starring at a wall while other customers came in after me and were getting their services done, I understand it being busy but this place doesn’t have a good vibe and I definitely will never be back again, it was one of the most uncomfortable visits I’ve ever had at a nail salon, then when I got to finally pick a color they kept making it seem as if money was an issue like oh that is extra, EVERYTHING is EXTRA, I wouldn’t be getting my nails done if I don’t have money, just because I am black does not make me poor and mean I live off the state, I have a great job I don’t appreciate the way I was treated. I will be reporting to the BBB.

This nail salon is near my office, so I gave it a shot. My technician took care of me took the time and care to file, clean, and buff my nails. Price was very fair, especially for all the time and attention they gave to us. I definitely plan on coming back!

My girlfriend got her nails done two days ago and she has already lost 3!!! They are usually nice and very friendly but they were busy and they rushed in her. She picked her color out and decided she wanted to add glitter because she wanted to and they charged her an extra 8 bucks because “changed her mind too late” even though it was before he was even done. He did not even tell her he was going to charge more until she checked out. Pathetic. She will not be back and I hope other so not give them business due to the way they treated her.

I went to Roses for the first time today and got my nails done and a pedicure. Jack and Kim are so nice and super friendly. I was worried about the damage that was being done to my nails by the acrylics and Jack suggested the nex-gen nails that are chemical free and help repair the damage that is done to nails by acrylics. They look amazing and feel amazing. Kim also did a wonderful job on my pedicure. I will be recommending Roses to all my friend and family and I will not be going to any other nail salon ever again. Thank you so much Jack and Kim for making me feel at home. Great experience.

Roses Nail and Spa is very well kept and clean. The staff is very friendly and provides wonderful service. I have been getting my nails done for a long time, and have found that this is my favorite place to go. The prices are very reasonable and my nails always look amazing!

I only go to Roses to get my nails done and Ive gone there for about six months. I have never had a bad experience. Jack, the owner, always does my nails and he does an excellent job, never disappoints. He and his wife are very friendly and they take their time to ensure that your nails are perfect. Im always laughing while Im in there and Ive never been able to complain about the service. They offer inexpensive, quality nail services and they are the only salon in the area that offers nexgen nails (thats what I ALWAYS get), good for your nails and definitely worth the money. My nails always last at least two weeks if not a full month. I love Roses and I recommend it to everyone I know. Make sure you call before you go in because theyre busy and you dont want to have to wait, but if you do walk-in I promise the wait is worth it.

I must say I work in customer service on a daily basis and the customer service in which is provided within this place of business I certainly will never understand I called to make an appointment in which the OWNER answered the phone I requested an apt with Ernie and wanted to know the first avail I was told 2:00pm not to mention I had spoken with Ernie myself an hr prior to the second call....I told the OWNER I would give him a call back (in which the only reason was to work out the schedule with my son and my office) and he HUNG up on me! Ernie you are the BEST nail guy Ive seen go somewhere else and work where the owner will promote your work:)

Alittle rough when it comes to doing nails....my fingers were very swollen and sore after getting their acrylic nails done and when sanding nails and cuticle they go to far and cause sores

The staff was really nice and funny! They stayed late to finish my nails although I got there an hour and a half before close. Only problem is that he cut my finger open with the electric filer. He also asked a customer for a cigarette. Just very strange.

While I enjoyed the atmosphere and the products they use in their pedicures are gentle on the skin, Im sad to say that I wont be going to Roses again. Their pumice stones are multi-use and NOT sanitized like the rest of their tools. My mother got a wart!

They all are so nice over there and do a really good job on my nails .Their prices are really cheaper than anyone else .If you have nerve been there you need to go try them out.

Hit and miss on excellent customer service. I have my two favorite technicians, past them Im not really impressed. They do have a huge selection of next generation nail powder colors. Pedicures are ok, once again its according to which technician that you get according to the quality you will receive. The salon is clean and brightly lit, and is one of the busier nail salons in the area. They offer other services than just nails. Waxing and lash extensions are also available.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never had a bad experience until tonight. The man that did my nails was in such a hurry that he kept burning my fingers with the drill. I have had them done for 1 full hour and one has already popped off, there are dents in the nail polish, he didnt let them dry fully before telling me to leave he said that as long as I was careful it would be okay. I am appalled and as soon as I get time I will go to Wendys nails. I waited over an hour to be seen (with an apt.), also people that came in after me (with no apt.) were being seen before me for the exact same work that I was wanting. If I figure out how to post a picture of my nails on here to have proof that this is a terrible place to go, I will. Would not recommend to anyone!

Went in to get Nexgen nails for a wedding, service was better than expected and exceeded my expectations!! Definitely a great nail salon!!

This was the second worst nail salon experience Ive ever had. Not that the end result was the worst but the entire experience was just lacking. I walked in with a friend and stated I wanted gel nails, I was given 4 or 5 rings of color samples to choose from. My friend chose a color within 30 seconds so we were told to sit. The lady took the samples and we sat down at our respective chairs. A nail tech came to my station and asked what color, obviously I didnt know yet so she rushed off, put them on the table and proceeded to soak my hands in water (?) and start my manicure. Keep in mind there were 3 people in the establishment and it is ~5pm so there was no rush of people waiting to be seated. So without even being able to actually look at the colors I just pick one and decide this will be the last time Ill go here. From that point on it continued to be the same level of service; the feeling of being rushed and the client not being a priority. During the manicure and polish my technician was quite stern. She wasnt shy about pulling my hand or tweaking my fingers for the angles she needed. Sometimes not so gently. Ive had my nails done dozens of times and never had such a pushy tech. At the end of my visit my nails looked fine. INice and smooth gel polish but the whole atmosphere as far as employees was unwelcoming and not very understanding.

I love this place. There has been several times I have came in a few mins before they close and they have done my nails, I love there work Kim always does my nails and they are amazing, I bring my mom, mother in law, grandmas here all the time no complaints.

12 of us came in for services for my sisters wedding and the services and staff were simply amazing! Really wish they had places like this up in Connecticut! Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

I will not go back here!!! My first time getting my nails done and it was aweful. My nails are uneven and they couldnt give me what i asked for. I wanted a french manicure with rainbow tips. The guy with tattoos started it and halfway threw when i noticed that the colors were not faded like they should be he told me i shouldve got gell if i wanted that. I said well you didnt tell me that. And he told me to move somewhere else that someone else would finish me. I ended up having to get a solid color because they couldnt do what i wanted. They look like i needed to get fill ins as soon as he was done. This experience was nit good. They embarrassed me in front of other customers by saying I shouldve listened to the professional. Well the professional couldnt even apply color correctly. I dont recommend this place to anyone! Also they were very uncleanDidnt clean the work space from one client to the other.

I went to get a pedicure and was expecting a nice massage along with my nails painted. I did not get that at all! The lady that did mine was rude to me. She also flew through my pedicure. It only took her 10-15 minutes!!! My mother went with me to get a pedicure as well and hers took 30-45! I mentioned something to one of the guys that worked there that I didnt like my service that I received and he got all bent out of shape and was asking me, What do you mean it was rushed? How was it rushed? I felt like my feelings and concerns as a customer did not matter at all!

Went to get my nexgen nails removed an hour before they closed and was told they were closing an hour early because they had “other stuff” to do and couldn’t remove them. Literally all I wanted was to get my nails taken off and they’re the only nail salon open on Sundays. They should’ve posted a sign on the door but there was no sign. They were rude to me as soon as I walked in the door. I didn’t even want any actual services just needed my nails taken off and they “couldn’t do it”

Me my mother n laws and sister n laws went and got Manicures and pedicures and was very pleased with our service will definitely be going back

Roses Nail Spa recently got new owners/management and they are wonderful! The new owners do great quality work - my nails always look great and last for weeks with no chipping! Ive started getting my nails done regularly now because they always look so amazing and I get so many compliments. Ive never found a home nail salon in Cookeville until I started going to Roses. Quality is outstanding and prices are reasonable - best nail place by far in Cookeville!

The technician working on my nails was irritated that I couldnt relax my hands. I really made an effort to do what he asked, but I guess it wasnt good enough for him because when he finished he said, I am so happy to be done with you! Well, then! Also, I asked for my nails to be short, but they were a too long and filed crooked (diagonal), but after that comment I didnt want to say anything! I dont know if this guy was having a bad day or what, but his service fell far short of polite. I dont know his name, but he was younger, and the box on his table said Ricky. I would avoid him if I were you!!

They were super busy & the woman gave me a rush job so not even a week later, my nails were popping off. Ill never ever go here again. Not worth the $ to me. Yet again I went here today to get my nails done, figured it been a few years why not right? Maybe they’ve gotten better. No. That man with the blonde hair was so rude to my sister and I when we walked in. Was yelling at us and just talking down to us like we were stupid. The older woman with the mean scowl kept staring at us the whole time like we didn’t belong there, and when she finally got help for her DAUGHTERS nails, just to be painted mind you, the younger fellow was throwing his tools and had a major attitude. I like to go here for the eyebrow waxing and not much else. The girl who waxes is a sweetheart but those men and that old lady are rude and nasty and frankly rude to black people. Yes I noticed. Every other person that came in behind us was helped with a smile, they treated us like trash, and btw we weren’t spending our tax money. We just wants to do something fun with the girls and it turned into an awful experience. I’ll have to find a new eyebrow waxing girl. I refuse to go back here. Period.

I have been in Roses when the male owner has flipped off customers after they left, told jokes about gays, and now they are pushing weight loss products on people as soon as the customer sits down to have their nails done. I have also watched as the workers have taken used nail polish remover and squeezed it with a cloth back into the container. Ugh. A combination of the list I made has caused me to decide to no longer return to their facility, It is unfortunate because they do a good job with the nails. Just very unprofessional.

Friendly service, but nail broke a day after I got them. Then I got them fixed and they broke the next day after I got them fixed.

They didn’t great when you come in or anything. The workers were so rude. And the lady just stared me down the whole time like she had something to say. Overall it was the worst experience every.

I would HIGHLY recommend you get your services done by Ashley and/or Y Y. They have given me the best customer service and have exemptlory skills. I have never once been treated poorly or disrespected by either one of them. Not once have my nails turned out uneven, ridged, or didnt last less than 2 weeks. Everytime I walk in here Ashley and Y Y treat me just like family and make me feel very at home.

Waited almost 2 hours for mani/pedi while they took regulars in front of me and others who had been waiting so long. It was really rude. I wouldnt have waited but I had a date to look nice for. The polish sadly lasted about 2 days before it was badly chipped and I took it off.

THE OWNERS WERE FRIENDLY AT TIME OF SERVICE BUT WHEN MY NEW NAILS STARTED TO CHIP AND BREAK OFF AFTER 7 DAYS, I WENT TO THE ROSE NAIL SPA AND TOLD THE OWNER WHAT HAPPENED, SHOWED HIM THAT 6 NAILS HAD COME OFF IN A WEEK, HE HAD A VERY NON-CARING ATTITUDE AND SAID, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT, NOTHING WE CAN DO! I SAID, YOU TOLD ME THEY WERE STRONGER THAN ACRYLIC AND WOULD STAY ON FOR 3 MONTHS OR MORE. THE OWNER SAID IT WAS MY FAULT AND NAILS ARE NOT GUARANTEED, HE JUST COULD CARE LESS! NOT GOING BACK!! MY DAUGHTER AND HER FRIENDS WENT THERE FOR MANICURES AND BY NEXT DAY, NAIL POLISHES WERE COMING OFF!! I AM SURPRISED THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I GOT! 50.00 DOWN THE DRAIN!!

I received my first mani pedi from this business and it was not a very pleasant experience. None of the workers made conversation with me and I was left in an awkward silence for the whole time. My entire fingernails werent painted, either. Extremely overpriced for what I received. Probably wont be back.

I had a full set of next gen done Fri evening and Monday one fell off ( I didnt hit it or anything) literally fell off! Another one fell off Tuesday and another one is lifting already! If I could give 0 stars I would! This place should not be in business, my daughters were done the same night and the guy filed her little finger and brought blood. The guy that did mine is brand new and Im not sure if he even had a liscene.

I absolutely enjoy every visit!! I have even referred several of my friends and family.

I absolutely love this nail salon. I have been to several different salons in Cookeville and this one is by far my favorite. The people are always very nice and they take pride in their work. Their prices are pretty competitive too. However, even though they charge the same or less than other salons in Cookeville, they still fixed my nails for free when I was too rough on them and one broke off. I get the Nexgen nails, which I havent seen at any other salon in Cookeville; I started getting them about two months ago as a way to reverse the damage that solar nails have done. Also, last time I visited there was a girl beside me that had Jack doing a design on her nails. She told him to do whatever he wanted and they turned out awesome! After seeing how cool her nails looked I was tempted to let him go wild on mine, but I opted for a boring french instead. Since discovering this nail salon I have referred all of my friends there and they have been very pleased as well.

The only problem with my wifes nails was that theres some ruff spots on her nails and the color was not the right coller that she picked out. This is first time in all the time she has came to roses that she is upset at the outcome.
